Summary:

The demigod half dragon of Lawain, Nanada Maroon is a young male who’s working hard to reach the rank of a deity and surpass his father to become the next dimension god all to prevent the disappearance of his universe.

Personality:

Maroon's personality differ when meeting with person to person and from situations-- a man with different personas. To those unknown to him he may appear a bit distant and calm. To those who only recently met him he may seem more polite and kind. To his friends, family or just people he gets along well with he can be laid back and at times a jokester. But some traits still remain the same. When it comes to treating others he mostly treats them as how he wants them to treat him and he's a fighter, both in combat and being an advocate for equality and loyalty.

Powers:

[Aura Manipulation]

-Fire Manipulation: Maroon has the ability to create and manipulate fire. Being a Prism dragon, his normal output is 20% that of what the average beings of fire are capable of. -creation: A form of alchemy that uses the aura of the user to create objects. The more advanced the object he wants to make, the more aura he needs to put it. He isn’t able to deconstruct an object to get aura back. -Aura detection: It’s an ability that allows the user to sense anything that radiates aura. Whether it be a person, inanimate object or even souls.

[Overdrives]

-Overdrive [Dragon’s Blitz]: By minimizing his defense, his power output, movement and reaction speed gets increased. -Berserker Overdrive: An overdrive of pure rage. The user decreases their defense to a minimum while increasing in power. The user won’t be in control over their rage and attacks like a beast.

[Other abilities]

-Animal instincts]: With dragons being known to be the alpha predators in the past, Maroon has a heightened sense of danger, able to react to danger more quickly. -Dimensional transportation: An ability that only people who are of the rank dimension changer or higher. It allows the user to create a gateway to another location in space, or even other dimensions among other things: -Dimension gates: Maroon can open dimension gates by collecting a portion of his energy into the limb he wishes to break open a portal while thinking of the location he wishes to enter. Additionally, he’s able to control the size of the mouth of the portal by how much energy he puts into. He is also able to control the length of the portal’s throat/tunnel, from a long throat/tunnel, to nonexistent throats. He is able capable of closing the portal regardless if something is still going through it or not. The throat of the portal is linked to the realm between dimensions, giving it the same effect as being in the realm of dimensions. -Dimension cracks: If Maroon wishes to create dimension cracks instead he’s able to create cracks of spacetime known as dimension cracks. The shards of these dimension cracks are solid, meaning it can the shards can be used as jumping platform. Maroon is also able to make the shards slippery like ice if he wishes to create a trail of dimension cracks to surf on. These cracks repair themselves quickly.

Backstory:

- Prequal

Maroon started off as a shy young boy with his little sister Hanaka, his mother Naona and his father Zephyr. His life was a simple and a carefree one, with him taking an interest in mythology. When he wasn’t playing games or taking care of Hanaka when their parents are busy, Maroon was out there reading books about gods and other mythological beings. The people adored the young boy with his sister as they knew they were children to Naona, a well known police officer in the city. He had a good life ahead of him.

But it all changed not long after his 10th anniversary as Zephyr decided Maroon was at an old enough age to start training, so he requested Maroon to come with him to an ‘unknown place’ as he puts it. So in the morning, just when his sister started to wake up, Maroon was already up with his father, ready to depart after saying goodbye to his mother. They went through a portal with an absurd effect. The moment they were through the portal was the moment the portal closed in.

The unknown place they arrived appeared like outer space, filled with stars, planets and galaxies. Upon arriving at the place, Zephyr explained that said place was a realm, a realm between dimension, where Maroon was able to train for the next 8 years. Concerned and confused, Maroon asked in a panic what’s going on.

His father explained that he, Zephyr, was the current god of dimension and he was looking for a potential successor, someone who could obtain great power and has a heart of gold that cares for the people. Zephyr looked at his successor, deciding that for now, Maroon’s the best option as Zephyr’s time is limited as he has only 50 years ahead of him.

Maroon, not wanting to be a part of training to become a god asked to be back home, only to be asked if he is certain that we would risk the entire universe along with his family to disappear all because Maroon said no.

For the first time, Maroon felt a massive weight upon his shoulder, before reluctantly agreeing on Zephyr’s offer to become his successor.

Maroon was informed that he and his sister are both half dragons, with Maroon being a half Prism dragon who’s dragon like powers have yet to be awakened and didn’t want to explain to him until now due to the war that happened before Maroon’s birth.

Zephyr requested Maroon if he’s fine with his powers being awakened as it helps with his training big times.

Maroon agreed, stating that he already agreed on the successor thing. Zephyr began the awakening procedure on him, causing Maroon to feel a aching pain on his chest. A blue crystal with a golden rim around it started to poke out of his chest, his hair changed color from brown to a gold-ish blonde color and thus Nanada Maroon, The prism dragon of Lawain was born.

During those 8 years, Maroon was requested from time to time to check in on other worlds for anything unusual going on and help out if need be as additional training.

- Chapter 1

8 years passed with Maroon training in the realm between dimensions, both in terms of physical training, studying, using his new found powers and so on, until he was strong enough to head back to his hometown of Lawain to find more ways to improve his strength so he can take his father’s place as the next god.

Nearing the Northern city area of Lawain he met Hono Hana, one of the legends of the city during the age when humans first came in contact and learned to befriend the dragons. She taught him how to use his senses and his instincts to help him in his mission, at the cost of him having to help out in fixing the bond between humans and dragons.

There he was met with the realization that the aftermath of the war was more harsh then he expected. Yet regardless, he accepted the offer Hana made and continues to fight on and try and fix the scars that was left in the past.

Every time a stranger finds him, he was considered an outcast and a potential threat to the city, but regardless of it all, Maroon continues with his mission with everything he can do.

During this part of the story due to the continuous usage of her sister's magical device that already had a lot of of her physical information stored in as a back-up his body got affected more and more as his body slowly changed appearance over time. Now fully female, 'she' wandered aimlessly to live her life at least somewhat peacefully without any trouble heading her way, that was until she found and formed a contract with a powerful magical user that seemed to be locked up in a magical wand. They went by Johou as that was their surname. True name: Johou Tsukine. Desiring to lose the guilt she feels for not being good enough to prevent her death Maroon agreed to the contract, even if there may be changes to her once more. When she formed a contract with Johou, Maroon's memories has changed drastically, having now gotten new memories while her old ones were locked away, inaccessible to her. She also gotten a new personality, look and name: Hikari Mari. Now, as a magical girl, Hikari Mari goes to help the people of Lawain City

Meron has something known as suppressi mutationem saiyan. He also has a sister named Hareca (earth name Hanaka and name based off of Haricot bean) suppressi mutationem saiyan: it’s unknown wether it’s a mutation that gives one the appearance of a super saiyan, but doesn’t give the user the strength of one, or worse: it supresses ones maximum potential in their current state.

backstory:

born as a saiyan from the planet of Vegeta, the 18 year old blonde haired Saiyan Meron was raised as a prideful warrior like any saiyan was. With his super saiyan like look, they thought he would be one of the few saiyans who had the ability to go Super Saiyan. However, his power level was…Average. Sometimes even weaker then average. It was discovered early after he was assigned that he had gotten the Suppressi Mutationem Saiyan mutation, which explained his appearance and power level as it causes a saiyan to create power limiting cells. It made him stay as a low class saiyan warrior, having to rely on weapons at times. On the bright side, his S-cells were being produced at a normal state. Fortunately in these missions he had company from his sister Hareca and her team as well and the power he displayed did convince her and the team that he wasn’t that weak as they think his mutation has made him. He was on par with the female saiyans in the team. So Hareca and the team decided to help him train while traveling from planet to planet to claim it in the name of king Vegeta.

I'm really shocked at the lack of love on Tumblr for our wonderful Camp Organizer, Chris Hackett.

I don't usually share any of my fanfictions as they're private. (So apologizing ahead of time for any errors in grammar and spelling.)

But I wanted to share this little prequal snippet of a one-shot I did for FemOC X Chris. I'd love any feedback/opinions and if you guys want me to share anymore...🤷🏻‍♀️

Lillian leant her chin on her palm, she watched the quiet waves of snow drift sway rhymeically onto the carpark. The white powder slowly seating itself onto the vegetation, giving the motel a cosy glow from inside.

The mug of English tea she cradled in her hands kept her fingers from the numbing cold. Steam reached up to her nostrils, a distant mumble of radio chatter kept her from sitting in absolute silence. She cherished these winter nights, the cold quietness that took over North kill.

*"A married New York couple who went missing while hiking Silver Point area have been found dead with multiple animal wounds, authorities say. The bodies of Stephen Reid, 67, and Djeswende Reid, 66, were discovered 6 months ago in a wooded ar~TZZK"

Static broke the newscaster off. Raising herself out the chair she walked over to the janky little portable system. It buzzed and groaned as she adjusted the antenna. There was a feeling that everything felt suddenly still, the snow blanketed any noise from the outside and for a moment... She felt herself zone out.

*"TZZK~Office has issued yellow warning of snow, ice and fog up and down Catskills area, which are expected to be ongoing until Thursd-" *

The abruptness caused her to jolt back to reality as her eyes fell onto the the snowy darkness. The glow of the open sign reflected a gentle blue glow across the white. The night sky a thick velvet blanket encompassing the motel. She made her way back to her desk.

*I should just lock up for the night and go upstairs*

As her hand reached down to open the desk draw in front of her, she noticed the light outside flicker, a flurry in the corner of her peripherals. Her head flicked around to catch it, but too slow. Figuring the bulb was nearly out, she ignored the pang of fear shooting up her chest.

Lillian fumbled the keys into the apartment door, kicking the little lip of snow sitting on the metal stairway. Her body shuddered as she fought the creeping brisk air of winter trying to prise its way into the cracks of her scarf. Clouds of hot air billowed over her face, as the key gave way to it's lock mechanism, fluidly swinging the doot open to pull her inside. A clang of metal made her stop one foot in the doorway, she peered down at the large wheelie bins to see if she had been hearing raccoons again.

The industrial gate violently shook, the settled snow tumbling from its precarious perch ontop of the steel rods. Lillian head swiftly turned to face the noise in front of her. Pounding, her heart jumped into her throat as she quietly observed.

Heat rose through Lillian body, her cheeks glowing against the white blanket of snow surrounding her, all she could hear was the panicked thud of her pulse through her chest. Weighing her down into her feet, grounded in fear.

"Li-llian?" a weak trembled voice croaked from beyond the gate. Her eyes widened, she parted her lips to speak but only faint puffs of condensation trailed from her cold lips.

"Lillian... Its Chris... Can.. You let me in?" the figure behind the door shakily exclaimed. Immediately Lillian made her way down the stairs and turned to the gate.

*what is Chris doing out here?*

The gate swung open and Chris looked up at her with a relieved smile,weakly leant against the corner post. His Aviator jacket was half hanging off his left shoulder. There was mud smeared across his shins and knees, jeans slightly torn up showing beads of clotted blood formed in the fabric. Lillian stepped aside to let him in and he made his way up to the unlocked apartment above the tavern...

Am I the only one worried about Jensen? I mean for most of prequel gate he was just quiet up until the reconciliation post. And now he is posting what feels like everyday. And honestly he doesn't look okay. He looks tired and sad and my heart kind of breaks everytime I see him not be okay.

I mean just check his insta posts these last few days:

I know he and Jared are supposed to have made up and I think they did. I truely believed that they talked it out and that Jared forgave him. I just hope that Jensen forgives himself for hurting Jared. Because we all know how he loves to takes care of Jared. It's probably his default setting. Knowing that prequal gate had hurt his boy must have been agonizing.

I really just hope he can forgive himself. Cause we all mess up sometimes. Even when it comes to the people we love.

CHAPTER ONE

All Lex wants is to get out of Hatchetfield, to get to California where she and her sister can start a new life. But navigating her current life in Hatchetfield is proving to be more difficult that it seems. However, returning to school after having taken a year off, she meets a boy who just might change that.

an: me? writing somethings other than sanders sides? yeah, never thought i'd see the day either. this is a prequal to black friday that i'm writing because ethan is making me sad and he (plus lex and hannah) deserved better. also i'm lowkey obsessed with black friday rn so like what are you expecting. anyway, hope y'all enjoy this?

The morning sun warmed her skin as she walked down the street, wishing that she was anywhere else. California - that's where she wanted to be. Away from Hatchetfield, away from her mom, away from this life.

But she couldn't leave. Not yet. This was her first day back at school, the first day of her trying to get her shit back together. If she could just get through this year, pass her exams and get some sort of qualifications, she could get a job and save up and soon enough she would be out of here. Just her and Hannah, starting a brand new life.

"Okay, Banana, here we are," Lex said, spinning ninety degrees and letting go of her little sisters hand. "Just head on through that gate-"

"Don't leave."

Lex sighed and closed her eyes. "Hannah-"

"Don't leave."

She crouched down so that she was eye level with Hannah and attempted to smile, but she was afraid it came off as more passive aggressive. "You need to go to school, and so do I. So just head on through the gate, I'm sure your friends are waiting on the other side."

Hannah looked down.

"I'll be back later," Lex promised. "As soon as school has ended for you, I'll be standing right here to take you home, okay?"

Hannah kept her eyes fixed on the ground. "Right here?"

"Right here," Lex confirmed. "As soon as you leave the gate."

"Promise?"

"Cross my heart."

Hannah's head tilted up, looking through the school gates. "What if it's bad?"

Lex shook her head. "It won't be bad. You'll have fun. You like school, remember?"

"I liked school," Hannah said.

"So what's different now?" Lex asked.

Hannah didn't respond.

"See? There's nothing to be afraid off." Lex rose back up, now looking down at Hannah who still wouldn't budge. "Hey, how about after school we go to the bakery? I'll get you one of those cakes that you love."

Hannah glanced up. "The yellow icing?"

Lex smiled. "The yellow icing. If you make it though the school day, I'll get you one. As a treat."

Hannah smiled back. "Okay."

"Then it's settled!" Lex stood back. "I'll see you after school, okay?"

"Right here?"

"Right here."

"Goodbye."

Hannah turned and walked through the gates, and Lex let out a sigh of relief. She stayed for a moment longer, watching Hannah until she entered the building, just to be sure that she got there alright. When Lex was certain that her sister was safe, she turned and continued on her journey to her own school, a couple streets over.

She silently cursed herself for promising to buy Hannah that cake, having no idea where she would get the money from. There wasn't really anyone at school who'd lend her a couple dollars, but theft wasn't really off the table...

Shut up, she told herself. Obviously theft is off the table. She couldn't get into too much trouble this year. Not after the trainwreck that last year was. She just needed to make her way through high school, secure a good enough job, and get out of this town.

She'd find the money somewhere. She must have had a few coins lying in the bottom of her backpack - she could check later at school. And if not, she could always cut back on lunch. She'd snatched a couple dollars off the table before she left the house, whilst her mom was still asleep, so that she'd have a little money to spend on lunch - she'd already used up the rest of their food for Hannah's lunch. It wasn't as if Lex needed to eat, though. She'd be fine.

But of course, if she was really desperate, maybe she'd be able to make the workers at the bakery pity her. She'd done that act a little more times than she probably should have, and it didn't always work but it wasn't as if she didn't have a shot. Maybe she'd get lucky and be served by an employee that didn't want to murder her.

Lex reached her own school far too soon for her liking. Part of her wanted to carry on walking around the back of the school for a cigarette before classes started, but she stopped herself, because this was the year that she'd be responsible. If not for her sake, then at least for Hannah's. Besides, she didn't have any on her - deliberately, as she'd known that it would be far too tempting if she did.

She walked through the gates and towards the building, eyes locked on the ground and hands in her pockets, trying her best not to draw any attention. People were probably wondering what she was doing back, what she was doing last year. Or maybe people had already forgotten about her, maybe nobody really cared about her presence at the school - that seemed to be the far more likely option, the more she thought about it.

Somebody shoved past her shoulders in the hallway, causing her to stumble to the side and almost fall over it. After regaining her balance, Lex glared at the culprit. "Hey, watch it, asshole!" she shouted.

The culprit turned around and looked at her, a mixture of concern, regret, and fear swirling in his eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't-"

"Fuck off!" Lex turned around and began walked in the opposite direction, not really caring about what the guy had to say for himself. She didn't want to start a fight, not yet. Not so early in the school year.

Just make it past today, she told herself, turning a corner to head round the long way to class.

When she reached her classroom, she continued with her eyes locked on the ground, and found a seat at the back window. Slumping down in her chair, she looked out across the field, realising that she didn't miss this at all.

It's just this year, she kept reminding herself. Then California.

Somebody sat down next to her and she groaned. "Do I know you?"

Placing his bag under the table, the guy replied, "We just met."

She turned her head towards him, confused before she realised who it was. "Oh, God. Seriously?" It was that guy, the one who had quite literally bumped into her.

"I just wanted to apologise," he said. "Really, I didn't mean to push you."

Lex rolled her eyes. "Sure you didn't."

"I'm telling the truth." He drummed his fingers on the table. "I'm really sorry."

"Well." She closed her eyes. "Now that you've apologised or whatever, you can go and sit with your friends and leave me the fuck alone."

He blinked. "I was actually-"

"Okay, class, settle down," the teacher said, walking into the classroom. He began to take the register and teach his lesson, so the guy didn't budge.

Lex supposed that meant she was stuck with him for the rest of the school year. Perfect. Just perfect.

She spent the first lesson not really paying attention and instead stealing glances at him every now and again. He had dark brown, curled hair, shaven a little at the back, and wore a worn-down black leather jacket. He seemed to be concentrating very hard on the lesson, although every now and then he'd glance at Lex and she would quickly look away.

When the lesson ended, Lex stood up and grabbed her bag, attempting to exit the classroom before he could talk to her again. She wasn't planning on making any new friends this year. She didn't have time for that, not between desperately trying to pass her classes and taking care of her sister. For now, she kept her head down and ignored anyone who tried to slide into her life.

She didn't meet that guy again until last period, in Mr Houston's class. He approached her again and spent the whole lesson by her side, with Lex silently planning the best way to murder him.

"Why are you talking to me?" she finally asked him, when Mr Houston set them off on a task.

He frowned. "Why wouldn't I talk to you?"

"I don't know you," she said. "We don't know each other."

"Oh. Well-" He reached out a hand. "I'm Ethan Green."

She rolled her eyes. "Knowing your name doesn't mean that I know you."

"How are you supposed to get to know me if we don't talk, then?"

Lex groaned. "Is it so hard to understand that I don't really want to talk to anybody?"

Ethan hummed. "You weren't here last year, were you?"

She shook her head. "Obviously not."

"Did you just transfer here?" Ethan asked.

"No." She sighed. "Well, not really. I didn't come in last year, but I was here the year before that."

"Why?"

"You ask a lot of questions that really aren't any of your business."

"I'm just curious," he defended. "You seem like a nice enough person."

Lex laughed.

"What's funny about that?"

She sighed. "I think literally everybody else in here would disagree with that."

The bell rang.

Lex smirked. "Well, I'd say it's been nice, but it really hasn't." She grabbed her bag again and began to walk out, but Ethan still ran to catch up with her.

"Do I get a name yet?"

"Nope," she said, popping the 'p' and turning the corner. Ethan seemed to stop following her after that, and she let out a sigh of relief.

One day of school done. One day closer to California.
