7. Favorite Season: Winter. I hate being hot. I live in the south, so it is hot up until December.

16. Number of Blankets: Using two right now, but when it is clean I have heavy king size quilt. I have a lot of throw blankets. I like to covered up all the time. I am always covered when I am inside.

17. Dream Trip: Ireland. Ever since I read about Tara in Gone With the Wind, it has been my dream to go there.

18. Blog Established: This one in December of 2018, but using it consistently since August 2019. I’ve been on Tumblr since 2011 though.

Nicknames: Demon. No actual nicknames though, because I HATE Mandy. 

Zodiac: Virgo. 

Height: 5′ 9″

Languages: Just English, but I want to learn Spanish, Russian and Italian. 

Nationality: American. 

Favorite Seasons: Fall mostly, but since it isn’t even very long where I live, I think Winter is my second. I love cold nights and seeing my breath. 

Favorite Flower: Tulips probably. I really don’t give too much thought to flowers. I love seeing wildflowers in fields though. 

Favorite Scents: I love outdoor scents, like the woods, rivers, things like that. The candles I burn are dark, deep scents.

Favorite Color: Pink or maroon. I can’t ever decide which I like more...

Favorite Animals: Raccoons, they’re so cute! Sharks, owls, wolves, oh my...oh bears too. There’s really just too many, animals are so cool. 

Favorite Fictional Characters:  From Books...Gonko and Kurt Pilo (The Pilo Family Circus), Kaladin and Dalinar (The Stormlight Archive), Jack Harper (Pivot), Elend (Mistborn Era One), Lord Loss (The Demonata), Moon Knight. From Movies...Hades (Yes, the Disney version of Hercules Hades, ok? Don’t judge me) and also the Hyenas from The Lion King, Conner and Murphy (Boondock Saints), Shikamaru and Kakashi (Naruto), Hannibal Lecter (I haven’t gotten to reading the books yet). Honestly, there’s probably way more but these are a few in the top.

Favorite Hot Beverage: Coffee is the only hot drink I’ll have these days. I much prefer cold drinks. 

Average Amount of Sleep: 4-5 hours. 

Dogs or Cats: Dogs for sure. Cats and I don’t vibe, cute and all but too distant for me. 

Number of Blankets: I sleep with a comforter and top sheet. I own, a lot more. 

Dream Trip: Wow, there’s so many but I guess my top pick for destinations is Ireland, it would be Russia but I’m actually terrified to go without more knowledge and learning the language. 

Blog Established: October 16, 2018, I do not feel like I’ve had this blog that long already haha. 

Followers: 91, wow! Thank you to each and every one of you, that’s so sweet and I appreciate your support, I really didn’t have very high hopes when I started this back then but now, it’s one of my favorite parts of the day. 

Random Fun Fact: I would say horror or psychological horror to be more precise is my favorite genre to read, but I am not a Stephen King or Chuck Palahniuk fan and it actually bothers me, I keep trying to force myself to be. Any recommendations?

You read for 8 straight hours ….? …and your eyes haven’t melted out of your head?…. please share your secret power. I read for half of that time and I could feel death approaching ��

I think I paused for about an hour for dinner, but after that I pretty much read straight through for six hours.

Other than maybe using music to blockout background noise and focus and making sure you are comfortable, I have no suggestions for longer reading. I've always been like this. If I am into a book, I keep pushing. It also helped that it was a book club read and I wanted to be able to participate in the discussion.

It was probably not a good choice for my eyes. I think I need reading glasses sometimes.

Is there a book you reach for on a regular basis?

I didn’t really used to do re-reads (I just recently started doing them) but I usually pick-up The Host by Stephenie Meyer every once in a while. 

If you had to only read ONE book over and over for the rest of your life what would it be?

Hmm that’s a hard one 🤔. Probably a really long fantasy book like The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss or The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson.

Have you memorised a poem/quote/speech? If so, spill!

I suck at memorizing stuff so nope lol. I really like this quote: “Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle but I had to look it up 😅 

What book from your childhood destroyed you emotionally?

I honestly don’t know that I had one/I don’t remember. 

Would you rather only read tiny poems OR 400+ page books for the rest of your life?

Definitely 400+ page books!

RANDOM BONUS QUESTION: what’s one thing that you taught yourself? Guitar? Hockey? Mechanical engineering?

I have tried multiple times at teaching myself stuff (like Chinese or playing the flute) but I can never keep the momentum/don’t know how to teach myself.
