hi, can you rank your favorite noora skam seasons? love your blog?
hi, sure! thanks for the love.
1. nora grace - skam españa
This is obviously the best Noora season for me, as it acknowledges the toxicity at the core of the Noorhelms’ relationship the most between her and Miquel. I wish other remakes had taken more care and creativity with their Nooras as Spain did. She grew so much in her season, and she’s so strong. I admire her greatly for being able to escape that relationship, and I’m glad she’s in a happier place and in a more stable relationship with Alejandro. I also really enjoyed her relationship with Emma, I wish Skam had more sister relationships. (ps: I was also born in Madison, WI where Nora lived before the series, so that endears her more to me!)
2. mia winter - druck
This is my second favorite Noora season, as like Spain, it chose to be somewhat original with its storytelling. It gives us background into Mia’s strained relationship with her parents in Spain, and it also gives us more layers into Mia’s ED (specifically the cabin episode) and her treatment (she went to therapy, which frankly all Skam mains need, why lie?) I’m also glad that the show tried to give further depth to the William character and his motivations, specifically his issues with his family and his panic attacks. I didn’t especially like Winterberg, so I’m glad the show acknowledged the issues in their relationship at the end of season 4, and broke them up. I’m also glad that Druck tried to be more inclusive by making Mia bisexual, which I know a lot of OG Skam fans wanted from Noora.
3. liv rejiners - skam nl
This Noora season will always be special to me, as it is the first Noora season I ever watched, and the first Skam season I ever watched live. Liv is the first (and only!) Noora of color, and I wish that had been further explored in her season. However, I feel like NL always did a great job of grounding the audience in their mains’ POV, and I always felt very connected to her. I like that NL also prioritized her relationships with the GS (especially Engel, one of my favorite Vildes!), the flat, and her parents. I also liked how they expanded their William as well. Noah had a different vibe, that wacky painter kid. Sadly, I believe that her season had 2 episodes cut from its order, which is why the pacing of her relationship with Noah suffered near the end. RIP Skam NL :(
4. noora amelie saetre - skam
Noora, Noora, Noora. She is the OG, of course. I enjoyed her season when I finally watched her season at the beginning of this year, but I just couldn’t connect with her and Willhelm :( He was nice, then he wasn't, then he didn’t support her at first during her SA, she told him she loved him, he said he didn't, and he left her at the curb for literally 2 minutes before deciding to come back. Their relationship was so tiring to watch. I also hate how performative Noora was in her activism during this season, and how she treated Vilde at times, but overall? She's fine. I don't hate her. Josefine portrayed the storyline as well as she could, and obviously, she’s so, so beautiful. Her storyline paved the way for Nora Grace’s, so I’m glad she exists.
5. grace olsen - skam austin
Meh. The second Skam and Noora season I watched live, and in my native language. Copy and paste most of what I said about Noora’s here. Austin didn’t change much from the original, but I’m glad Kelsey got to call Grace out about her behavior, and that Grace got to tell Daniel that her SA had nothing to do with his feelings ( “yeah, it sucked, for me.), and that she got to tell him to stop being “a little bitch!” I wish the storyline had delved into more concerning Grace’s abusive parents, as it was mentioned in her essay for that contest, and hinted at  maybe one clip with Daniel. Also, Daniel hits way too close to home with a lot of the football assholes who went to my school, so. There’s that.
6. zoe loockx - wtfock / eleanora sava, skam italia
I’ve seen bits and pieces here and there. The actress seems nice enough, and most people seem to like Senne. I’ve just never seen the full season, and I don’t really plan to, sorry. Same goes for Skam Italia. Never seen it, don’t really plan to. People seem to like her and her William well enough.
7. manon demissy - skam france
I have never watched her season, so I don't really have an opinion on that. But I have seen season 3, so her saying Charles asked her to drop the charges against his brother because “he didn’t actually assault you?” Trash. I also don't like how she was also baiting Lucas about talking about his sexuality a lot? Like, let the man come out when he wants to. I don’t have anything against the actress. Manon is a lot like OG too, it seems.

This may be the sana season I personally relate the most to, seeing as I to am a religious person who doesn’t really party. And in high school I surrounded my self with people I thought were my friends, but turned out that they where shit talking and excluding me. Watching this season in real time has been a little hard, considering I relate so hard to a lot of what Yasmina is going through. And I think that, just like with s3, the acting has been great and it’s clear that the leads really do care about the story they are telling.
However....I have no idea. No idea. Who thought the best resolution to the “sana losing focus in her own season-problem” was to take out every. Single. Subplot. Except the ig account one. The sub plots are meant to fill out the universe that our main character live in. Yes, they are the main character for two months, but everyone around them still have their own story and lives, that is going to influence the main. Try to imagine wtfock s3 without the zoe and Senne subplot, let’s also exclude any “unnecessary” flat share interactions, instead every time we se robbe at home, he’s hanging out in his room and sometimes Milan knocks on his door. What kind of boring bullshit season would that be? We would have absolutely no information on a huge part of our main characters life!
And the thing was, they were doing so good in those first two episodes! I was genuinely exited on how they were portraying her “otherness”. How she wasn’t included, how she was just expected to accept a halfhearted sorry, the iftar party, seeing someone who belongs to the same religion as her do things she does not agree with and put herself in situations so she won’t have to lie.
And then....they kinda just stopped with all of that? And we just had to look at Yasmina going through the motions of her life, but nothing really happening around her. Until of course, the “we’re wtfock so anything that was bad and hurtful in the og we’re going to make terrible and edgy”-train arrived, and we now have to look at someone not being believed. By anyone. Even though the evidence is. Right. There.
That plot, in the og, is like every single thing Sana has experienced coming to the surface, and she lashes out without thinking about any other consequence than hurting the people that have been hurting her. She has been fighting since season 1 to fit in, to make people see her as more than her religion. And she has gone through a transformation, because she found friends she cared about, and who she believed cared for her. But throughout the season we can see that belief starting to shake as she gets excluded and pushed to the side. In ep 6 she’s kinda turning back into that stone faced Sana from the first time she showed up in s1. But all of this is informed by what is happening around her. And we as viewers can see it. But we can also see all the good things around her.
With this season of wtfock, we’re not seeing shit. People are arguing over the non existing Sobbe subplot. I’m sitting here mourning any subplot at all. Because this season is lacking in world building. It’s like they forgot all the characters they created. It’s like they forgot the storylines they created.
But hey, give us that emotional rollercoaster at 6 am! Give us those acting performances! But nothing is going to take away from the fact that it seems like you (the show) have completely forgotten the entire point of Sanas season. And I have NO IDEA how in the hell they are going to dig themselves out of this.
I don’t know if this made any sense at all. Kinda writing it as a stream of consciousness but I kinda need my thoughts out there.
The world building thing is a really interesting point. There was more world building around the main in s4, can you believe that? 🤡 I can't. 🤡 But it's the truth 🤡 And it fucking sucks. The beach scene is gonna be so fucking weird because who are all these people there with Yasmina??? I thought they evaporated.
And yeah, they were doing so good in the first two episodes. I don't know what happened. The perfect word to describe this season is either 'weird' or 'illogical'. So many things about it feels like fhey were written as an afterthought.
Also if we don't get POV clips I'm gonna be livid. Because every remake had them and we'll be robbed if they decided not to do them. There is a way to do them without taking time away from Yasmina and bonus clips aka Skam Espana showed that.

I was tagged by @pamouche and @borborai in this and I finally gotten around to doing it. Thanks so much!
Fav wtfock s3 things: honestly I could go on for hours about my love for this season it’s One of my favorite things to exist in the entire world. I have re-watched it so many times and it always leaves me feeling so happy. Some specifics: Robbe IJzermans, sweet sunshine, love and light of my life, I would throw myself in front of traffic for that boy I love him so much. He captured my heart in a way few ever have. This boy. He’s just such a caring and compassionate person. He’s got his little shit attitude, and he’s definitely a tiny brat, but he is also so full of love to give. I love that he’s not flashy. He’s not somebody that a lot of people are going to notice in a crowd. He’s overlooked by everyone, including his friends. But when you get to know him you see how remarkable he is, because few people are that genuinely good. And the way he grew from hurt and lonely and angry and afraid to happy and confident and not only accepting but proud of who he is makes me cry happy tears. He’s just the best. But the other best is the yin to his yang, his beautiful, wonderful, cool, bold, funny, sweet, and completely dorky art hoe of a soul mate, Sander Driesen. When I think of what my ideal Even would be, he is it. His heart is just right there for everyone to see and he doesn’t hide it. In fact he’s extra about showing it. He’s also vulnerable and needy and feels so very young to be going through such large struggles. He makes me laugh and cry and I would dive in front of the Skam France car for him as well. Love that kid so much. Sobbe. Do I really need to say it? Holy shit they are everything. Soulmates, best friends, loves of each other’s lives. Their chemistry is so good that it doesn’t even exist in this stratosphere. It’s otherworldly. The love that they feel for each other is tangible. They’re one of those couples that when I look at them I think “now those two are going to make it”. You can just feel it. They also somehow manage to hit on so many beloved fanfic tropes but remain realistic because it’s actually canon. Like when couples in fanfic will call each other pet names but it’s rare you actually see it in canon. But sobbe is like hold my beer and goes all out with it. The way they express their love to each other is exactly what the other one needs. Sander is loud end boisterous and goes all out to make it clear to Robbe and everyone else on earth how he feels about this boy. He gives him things to make him feel special and he’s full of affection for him. Robbe is also extremely affectionate, he tells Sander what he needs to hear to feel safe and loved and they love spending time together. Their love is a balm for one another that soothes them both. And it’s clear that neither of them need the other more nor ever did. They both needed one another and met at a time in our lives that they were both in pretty low places and were exactly what the other needed. And they always will be. Sorry, getting emotional again. They’re the otp to end all otps. 🥺 The Soundtrack. I love every single song on the soundtrack. All of them, and I listened to the soundtrack so much on my Spotify that my entire top songs of 2020 were made up of wtfock s3 songs. They not only have excellent musical choices, but they are all placed within scenes so well that they perfectly complement what is happening in the narrative at any given point. Casa Milan and Zoenne and Robbe aka Flatshare Fam. I want to live there. It is so warm, it is so inviting, and it is filled with such love. The support that Robbe got from Milan, Zoë, and Senne was unmatched. I don’t know where he would’ve been without it. Could you imagine if he had had to live with his dad? How differently his story could’ve ended up? Especially with Milan, having someone not much older than he is who has gone through a lot of the same things he has. He was such a big brother figure and mentor and I’m so glad Robbe had that.
Fav clip: Scuse me I’m not picking just one so Dinsdag 16:31, Zaterdag 09:41, Woensdag 21:21, Mandaag 11:03, Zaterdag 08:44 and Woensdag 16:36
Fav scene: Their Vrijdag 21:21 reunion, morning after, ohn/mbm, singing to a shoe, the hotel scenes, and the grocery store. I’m not really sure of the distinction between a scene and a clip 😂
Fav shot: Oh god don’t make me choose. Their hands in Dinsdag 16:31 is a big one. The dual mirror shots of Robbe after Milan tells him about gay pride before the attack to him bruised and battered after. When Robbe is kneeling down beside Sander in Mandaag 11:03. The shot of Milan, Robbe, and Sander playing the pandemic game all cozy by the Christmas tree. Any shots of Robbe and Sander making heart eyes and/or kissing. Any close ups of Robbe’s face and eyes bc Herbots, man. Good god he’s amazing.
Fav kiss that Robbe initiates: Woensdag 21:21, Dinsdag 07:27 and Woensdag 17:21
Fav kiss that Sander initiates: Zaterdag 09:41, Dinsdag 16:31, and Vrijdag 21:21
Fav Sander dialogue: Can I say everything? Okay okay, I’ll give some examples. “Wow, that’s expensive!” “You and me, a hundred percent forever, in every universe.” “I’m holding onto you and I’m never letting go of you.” “🎵Ground control to major Tom. Circuit dead there’s something wrong.🎵” “Are you going to leave me behind?” (🥺) “Zero stars on booking.com.” “The moonlight was shining down on you and I knew immediately ‘he is the one’.” “Get ready to be mindblown!” “All the way or no way.” “Take it or leave it, eh?” “You could try bribing the teacher.” “Robin.” Also literally everything he said during wtfockdown because there’s not a moment where he isn’t iconic. But a really special moment, “Just because other people are close minded doesn’t mean that you should make your world smaller.”
Fav Robbe dialogue: “You touched me and I’ve never felt something like that.” “That kiss was really *head explosion noises*.” “Not in this universe.” “Sander, there is something between us. I love you.” “Jawel.” (I just love the way he says it, it’s so fuckin cute). “Fuck Chernobyl.” “Always.” And of course, his verse in eenvoud.
Fav hug: Mandaag 11:03 when Robbe holds a crying Sander. Also, does the spooning and cuddling in the hotel scenes and Dinsdag 07:27 count? Because I love that. Also Woensdag 17:21. Or really anytime Robbe is being a clingy koala. And we can’t forget his hug with Milan after he tells him about the attack. He really needed that comfort.
Fav 21:21: Nope. Nah in all seriousness they just hit different. Woensdag is my favorite in terms of clip alone because from beginning to end it is just so beautiful and perfect. The music, the tunnel, the pool, the kiss, just absolutely gorgeous. But at that time everything was still really new between them and the aftermath of that was rough. Vrijdag is my favorite clip in terms of what it means for Robbe and Sander. The clip itself is shorter, but it has much larger impact in terms of sobbe’s relationship. It’s not just their first time physically, but their emotional declaration to one another as well. It comes with a commitment. Also them falling off the bed laughing is the greatest thing ever. They are so HAPPY. So basically my answer is both, just in different ways.
Fav Sobbe instagram pic: Why are all these questions so mean? Okay- their first one together obviously because along with Robbe’s caption it’s just a showing of their love being official. But also the grocery cart pics for their 6 month anniversary. The grocery store pic in Ardennes getaway. Robbe’s bday pics of them embracing they’re SO HAPPY omg. And of course, we cannot forget the pic posted for Sander’s birthday. It is absolutely perfect. I love it so much.
Fav song/scene pair: I have a few- both examples of wildfire obviously, past lives in Zaterdag 09:41, and rebel rebel at the grocery store. But I have two more that are not at all happy clips but are two of my fave clips regardless: life on mars/zaterdag 21:43 (that scene is impeccable along with its followup which I consider them a pair but LoM only plays in the first one) and I found/zondag 15:12 (my god I love that scene it’s brilliant).
Fav message between Sander and Robbe: Woensdag 12:45 when Sander sends Robbe the sketch of them and talks about that kiss earlier being Chernobyl. Also everything during wtfockdown but especially “I love you so much Robin.” “I love you too. So damn much.” But honestly they had so much adorable banter during those clips we were truly fed.
Fav banter on Instagram: lmaooo they’re always so thirsty on main you could pick a million examples. I will say I loved their back and forth about emojis on their anniversary.
I will tag @onzeziggy @everyone-has-their-story @bowieexaminprogress @sanderxrobbee @ayellowcurtain and whoever else wants to do it. This was fun!

Note
I'm noticing that they are using a similar structure with clip and episode layouts like they did in Season 3.
Main difference is Younes is introduced earlier than Sander.
But basically episode 3 Robbe and Yasmina both spend time with their love interest and almost kiss.
Episode 4, the way Wednesday released 6 clips through the day to 21:21 'date' Similar to Friday's 6 clips dropped to Yousmina's 'date' and their 'almost kiss' ( I think this is the closest they'll come)
Episode 5 - long episode, introduced Zoe and Senne 'testify in court' subplot (I know their subplot started sooner but Zoe only gets the letter in episode 5) is probably gonna be similar to the layout of Sobbe's subplot starting now. Also ends with sad drama with their love interest. I know for Robbe it's technically Saturday but yeah Yasmina seeing Younes and Aïcha is the equivalent to Robbe seeing Sander and Britt.
Hope these thoughts make sense but I'm definitely seeing some layout and pacing links.. Thoughts? or Am I talking through my ass 😂
Well this is Tom’s creation so it’s probably gonna have similarities. You’re not crazy. I find it interesting that tho it’s the same timeline as OG it’s all reshuffled. I actually like this reshuffling because it feels like an entirely new story all together but at the same time we are exactly where we are meant to be in the plot. There isn’t any surprises really. Episode 5 is exactly what I expected to be. Now I expect the secondary hate plot to begin to emerge. The girls to completely fall apart around end of 7 beginning of ep8. Younes plot of will they, won’t they, sobbe and amber subplots to begin to pop up. Like I said it’s still the same-Ish which I agree it’s more like the delivery is different and shuffled up.

Shows With Good LGBT+ Rep
Now for starters, I’ll admit that I do not watch Riverdale. I tried it, didn’t like it, that’s basically it. The show does have LGBT rep (but not ace rep), I would never dismiss that, but they make sure to do the bare minimum. Based off the people I follow who are fans, scenes for the characters, more specifically Chonie (Cheryl x Toni), are either constantly deleted or they are nonexistent.
Tumblr media
They have romantic scenes together but not nearly as many as the rest of the leading cast. This matters because one of the girl in the relationship, Cheryl, is advertised as a main, but yet she’s treated as a side character, and Toni is given even less. From what I’ve heard of the show, they dedicate an immense amount of time to the pairings of the main characters, but this focus does not seem to apply to Cheryl and her relationship with Toni. This applies to them as individual characters and as a pairing, as I’ve heard that neither character get much screen time.
I understand wanting representation and I understand wanting to support representation, but the point that I’m trying to make is that Riverdale is not the show to put your desire and need into because they will never give the proper treatment or storylines that these characters and relationships they deserve. You can still watch but just know that there are shows out there with much better rep. So I’m here today, writing this long essay that no one asked for, to inform you guys of LGBT+ rep that actually gets treated well by their writers and is given the screentime and love they deserve.
Warning: Some of these shows have been cancelled. If they do not say they’ve been cancelled, then that either means the show is still going or that it ended on it’s own terms.
Also this list does not include shows with the bury your gays trope.
Feel free to add on! This list is mainly comprised of some of my favorites. I tried to very best on the descriptions but I am a tired student with little free time.
#1: The Bold Type ~ Kat x Adena
Tumblr media
Kat Edison, the head of the social media department of Scarlet magazine, meets Adena El-Amin, a proud Muslim lesbian photographer in episode one. The two bond and grow closer and closer, eventually causing the “out and proud hetero” Kat to question her sexuality and acknowledge her romantic feelings for Adena. Adena, as I said earlier, is a lesbian and Kat is bisexual.
#2: Black Lightning ~ Anissa x Grace
Tumblr media
Ah, the first black lesbian superhero! The second season is currently airing on Tuesday’s at 9pm on the CW. Being the daughter of the infamous vigilante Black Lighting has it’s unexpected perks, like having superpowers! The intelligent activist Anissa Pierce discovers her powers of super strength and decides to use them for good and defend her city under the name of Thunder.
Grace Choi was in a few episodes of season one, but her relationship status as girlfriends with Anissa in the comics assures us that she will be coming back and we will see her and Anissa’s relationship develop further.
#3: Doctor Who ~ Bill x Heather
Tumblr media
Throughout all of time and space, these two manage to come back to each other. After being split up by an alien in ‘Pilot’, Heather comes back to Bill’s rescue in the season finale, kissing her and making her immortal, leaving the both of them to travel across the universe together. Their journey has sadly come to an end in the series, but it came to a spectacular and happy one!
#4: BBC Class ~ Charlie x Matteusz
Tumblr media
Part of the Doctor Who universe comes Class, a teenage sci-fi drama that takes place in Shoreditch. Now, first I should say that this is one of my favorite shows and you don’t need to watch Doctor Who in order to watch it. It is its own separate show.
Charlie Smith, an alien prince from the planet Rhodia, comes to earth to escape the Shadowkin, the monsters that killed his race. Him and the only other survivor of his planet, Miss Quill, come to earth and are instructed by the Doctor to hide themselves as human. Charlie attends Coal Hill Academy while Quill teaches.
Once prom comes around, Charlie asks the Polish boy, Matteusz, to be his date. The prom is hijacked by the Shadowkin and it is revealed to Matteusz that Charlie is an alien, but he doesn’t mind because it does not change the way he feels about him. The two continue to date throughout the series whilst fighting off aliens with four of their friends and Miss Quill
This show has been cancelled, but audios have been made since then to fill in the gaps between episodes and there is a chance there might be more! Also there are three books!
#5: In The Flesh ~ Kieren x Simon
Tumblr media
The dead have come back to life! Kieren and Simon are both PDS sufferers, meaning they have partially deceased syndrome, meaning that they died and were brought back to life. Series 1 is centered on Kieren Walker, a 18 year old boy who died back in 2009, who is adjusting to his new zombie life and dealing with the people who want him back in the ground.
In series 2, Simon is introduced as a part of an PDS activist who is fighting for equal treatment for PDS sufferers while trying to find the first risen to bring on the second rising. Connected by a mutual friend, Simon and Kieren are introduced to each other, and the two strike up a relationship which develops into something romantic.
#6: Faking It ~ Multiple Characters
Tumblr media
In an attempt to gain popularity, Karma and Amy fake being lesbians, but after a kiss at the school’s prep rally, Amy realizes that she isn’t as straight as she thought she was. In fact, she is head over heels in love with her childhood best friend, Karma. She confides in the out and proud Shane about her feelings for Karma and asks for advice on how to get a girlfriend. This show, while not always perfect, is incredibly diverse. Amy is bisexual, Shane is gay, Lauren is intersex, and in season 3, Shane forms a crush on the new student, Noah, and after their first kiss Noah comes out as trans to Shane.
The show was unfortunately cancelled after three seasons, leaving much of the story still left unsaid, but the show still has an enjoyable and satisfying ending, even if it wasn’t the ending the creator wanted. The creator’s ideal ending, had he been given the chance to write it, was that Karma would eventually realize that she herself is bisexual too.
#7: Hit The Floor ~Multiple Characters
Jude x Zero
Tumblr media
Junior sports agent Jude Kinkade brings basketball sports star Zero to LA on the promise to be a star. One night in a limo before Zero flies to an away game, Jude, to his surprise, kisses Zero. When Zero comes back, the two begin a friends with benefits relationship that develops into something deeper, and the two fall in love.
Lionel x Eve
Tumblr media
Lionel’s sexuality has never been explicitly stated in the show. She had sex with many men and the majority of viewers assumed she was straight. That was until the cunning Eve came in. The two decide after a brief meeting to go and get drinks together which ends up with them having sex. Later, Lionel admits to Jude, that she has slept with many women before Eve. Their relationship is complicated and it’s much different from the other relationships on the show.
Jude x Noah
Tumblr media
Due to the show’s unexpected renewal and switch from VH1 to BET, not all actors returned. Adam Senn (Zero) did not want to return, but never fear, because the show’s creator wasn’t about to let the beautiful Jude Kinkade go to waste!
A year after his break up with Zero, Jude’s best friend Lionel takes him out for drinks in the hopes to find him a hunk and get him laid. Later that night, Jude and Noah meet, hook up, and move on with their lives. Until the next day when Jude sees Noah at the Devils arena and finds out that the two will be working together.
Hit The Floor has not been renewed or cancelled.
#8: Wynonna Earp ~ Multiple Characters
Waverly x Nicole
Tumblr media
i’m sure many of you have heard of these two, but incase you haven’t, let me introduce you to Waverly and Nicole! Waverly, the younger sister to the Earp heir, and Nicole, a sheriff at the Purgatory police department, strike up a romantic relationship after Waverly ends things with her shitty boyfriend Champ. These two are so cute and are head over heels in love with each other.
Jeremy x Robin
Tumblr media
Jeremy is introduced in season 2 and Robin is introduced in season 3. After discovering a murder tree, Robin goes to the police station in search of help. Directed to Jeremy, Robin explains everything he saw, then the two go on a date to investigate the murder tree, and after that the two become boyfriends.
Warning: The show, while amazing with LGBT characters, does not treat their POC characters well.
#11: Brooklyn Nine-Nine ~ Holt and Rosa
Tumblr media
Raymond Holt is captain of the 99th precinct. He is married to his longtime partner Kevin, who often guest stars on the show, and the two of them are truly iconic. Holt has fought hard for gay rights in the police department since joined the force. As a out gay black man, Holt had to fight and work hard to get to his position as captain.
Tumblr media
Rosa Diaz is bisexual and she is played by a bisexual actress. Rosa is a secretive, hard, ruthless, and a soft bean of a character. She is one of the key characters to the Nine-Nine. She has yet to have a steady girlfriend but here’s to hoping that she will have one next season!
#10: BBC Cuffs ~ Multiple Characters
Jake x Simon
Tumblr media
Don’t sleep with the enemy. New PC Officer, Jake Vickers, joins the police force and meets the well known and disliked solicitor, Simon Reddington. Despite the fact that they are on opposing sides that hate each other, the two begin dating. They try to keep their professional life out of their relationship to avoid conflict. But alas, that’s where the sweet angst comes in.
Donna x Alison
Tumblr media
The time these two start dating it unclear, but when the show begins it is said that they’ve been together for a few years. They’ve been living happily together for quite some time. Donna is part of the main cast as a police officer and is given a lot of screen time in action. Alison is a side character who makes a few appearances throughout the show but her interactions with Donna are sweet, beautiful, and realistic.
This show has been cancelled.
#11: Shadowhunters ~ Magnus x Alec
Tumblr media
Ghaad, these two are the best. A gay shadowhunter and a bisexual warlock fall in love. Malec has good communication. Magnus and Alec have their own storyline and a storyline with each other, making them both equally important and have intimate/emotional scenes. The show also makes sure to tackle harmful bisexual stereotypes. (Thanks to @spicychipsdemon for helping me write this one.)
This show has been cancelled but it’s being given a special to wrap up the story.
#12: Superstore ~ Mateo x Jeff
Tumblr media
An employee and district manager meet at the Cloud 9 store during a strike. Mateo is a out gay man and so is Jeff, the thing is that his cannot date the employees at the store so the two of them keep their relationship private from the other coworkers, because they would not be able to keep it a secret from Jeff’s boss. These two are actually really cute and they’re hilarious and underrated to be quite honest.
#15: Orphan Black ~ Multiple Characters
Tumblr media
Besides the white girl dreads, these two are nice. They are the sci-fi couple that beat the shit out of the bury your gays trope. A clone and a woman who is assigned to look after that clone, uncoincidentally meet. What starts as an assignment is developed into something much deeper, leading Delphine to realize she’s bisexual. These two are happily living their life making crazy science with each other.
There are more LGBT characters in the show. There is a trans clone but unfortunately he is only in one episode. One of the main clones, Sarah is revealed to be bisexual in s4 and her foster brother Felix, a series regular, is gay.
#16: Picnic at Hanging Rock ~ Multiple Characters
Tumblr media
Three schoolgirls and their governesses mysteriously disappear on Valentines Day in 1900 at the infamous Hanging Rock. This show, while slow in some areas, transformed the 1967 book written by Joan Lindsay. What was initially about the disappearance of three girls and the attempt to find them was changed into a six part series about the repression of sexuality and expression of young girls. Miranda, Irma, and Marion, are the three young women that go missing, and they are all lesbians. There are two more characters in the story: Mike and Albert. They had a close relationship in the book but the tv show made their relationship canonically romantic.
The show does suffer in the sense that hetero couples that barely existed in the book get more screen time and make out sessions than they should. I included this show because character wise it’s so drastic from it’s original content and it ends up putting wayyyy more focus on the girls than the book did. It turned a simple plot into a meaningful story about gender roles and sexuality and three girls trying to break free of them and two boys falling in love and running away together. Not a perfect show, but damn if it didn’t do some things right. Still recommend.
This show is a miniseries. Unlike other series, it ends where the book ends.
#17: One Day At A Time ~ Elena x Syd
Tumblr media
If you haven’t watched these two then I don’t know wtf you’re doing. This show is precious and they are precious and god just watch it already honestly. Elena is a lesbian and Syd is a non-binary lesbian. Once a criminal breaks loose and the two have to cancel their plans to go to comic con, the two are trapped in their home with the rest of their family. As the evening builds up, Elena finally gets the courage to kiss Syd.
#18: Crashing ~ Sam x Fred
Tumblr media
This show and this relationship is f*cking wild and it’s amazing. The show surrounds a group of people who are guardians to an abandoned hospital and they live in it. Sam meets Fred on his birthday when the two are paired up for a scavenger hunt. They relationship is odd at first with Sam constantly flirting with Fred and blatantly ignoring his feelings for him. These feelings rise to the surface and force Sam to confront them when Fred gets a rich bf who wants them to move in together.
This show has been cancelled. The show does not end with a cliffhanger. The show does end with Sam finally leaning in a kissing Fred.
#19: Charmed (2018) ~ Mel x Niko
Tumblr media
Now this show is only one episode in so who knows where this show and relationship will go but it’s off to a good start with having the Mel and Nico relationship as the only romantic relationship in the show so far. I did not pay attention to the advertising of this show but as far as I know the show kept this relationship under wraps as a happy surprise for it’s premiere. The pilot has it’s flaws but it is cute, and to me personally, it works for me better than the original. These two have been dating for a while. Nico is a detective while Mel is just finding out months after her mothers death that she is a witch. A lot is going on. The pilot was interesting enough to get me to continue. The sisters are amazing and I hope the writers keep this relationship up front. This show not only has a lesbian relationship as it’s main love story right now but the three sisters are all women of color.
This show and the actresses have been facing a lot of racist backlash so any support to ensure a future seasons be amazing!
#20: The Halcyon ~ Toby x Adil
Tumblr media
(Ayyyeeee I got to use my own gif go follow at @tlmedits please)
Honestly f*ck BBC for cancelling so many good shows with LGBT characters. The Halcyon is a tv show that takes place during the 1940′s. Now, unlike many other periodic shows, this one is diverse, including poc and gay characters in the cast and giving them good storylines. The Halycon hotel is own by the Hamilton family, and Toby is the youngest son. Adil is a bartender in the hotel lobby. One night, while Toby is hiding from a woman his mother had set him up with, he runs into Adil who then kisses him. The two the next day begin a relationship.
As I mentioned before, this show was cancelled.

Bill Buckner, Forever Known for October Error, Dies at 69
Bill Buckner was an All-Star and batting champion, a gritty gamer who was welcome on any team.
A reliable fielder, too.
Fiat Chrysler Proposes Merger With French Carmaker Renault
But a little grounder forever changed his legacy.
Buckner, who made one of the biggest blunders in baseball history when he let Mookie Wilson's trickler roll through his legs in the 1986 World Series, died Monday. He was 69.
Israeli President Shocked by German Skullcap Warning
"He deserved better," former Dodgers teammate Bobby Valentine tweeted .
Buckner died after a long battle with Lewy body dementia, his family said in a statement. The disease causes Alzheimer's-like symptoms along with movement and other problems.
Another Horse Dies at Santa Anita, 26th Since December
Buckner made his major league debut as a teenager, played until he was 40 and amassed 2,715 hits in between. Yet for all he accomplished, it was his October error at first base that fans always remembered.
Trying for their first crown since 1918, the Boston Red Sox led the New York Mets 5-3 going into the bottom of the 10th inning in Game 6 at Shea Stadium. The Mets tied it with two outs, then Wilson hit a roller up the first base line that got past a gimpy Buckner, a misplay that let Ray Knight rush home from second base with the winning run.
The Red Sox lost 8-5 in Game 7, and their World Series drought continued until they won the championship in 2004.
In the aftermath of Boston's near-miss, Buckner became a target of fans in New England and beyond, his mistake shown over and over on highlight reels.
"You can look at that Series and point fingers in a whole bunch of different directions," Buckner said a decade ago. "We did the best we could to win there and it just didn't happen and I didn't feel like I deserved" so much blame.
A curious thing happened over time, too: He became pals with Wilson.
"I was saddened to hear about Bill's death," Wilson said in a statement. "We had developed a friendship that lasted well over 30 years. I felt badly for some of the things he went through. Bill was a great, great baseball player whose legacy should not be defined by one play."
But sure enough, several years ago when he made a guest appearance on the TV show "Curb Your Enthusiasm," the main gag involved star Larry David tossing a ball autographed by Wilson toward Buckner, who lets it get past him and out the window.
A footnote: While Buckner was long criticized for the error, many in baseball contend that even if the ball had been handled cleanly, the speedy Wilson would have beaten it anyway.
At Fenway Park on Monday, video clips of Buckner's 22-year career were shown on the scoreboard before the Red Sox hosted Cleveland. His picture was posted and there was a moment of silence, followed by applause from the crowd.
"I think it was a travesty the way he was last remembered," said 67-year-old Red Sox fan Blaine Macinnis from Wilmington, Massachusetts, in a box seat on the first base side. "It was a great injustice of how he ended it with that last play. It's a shame. That's how life is."
"Like when your own father dies, you don't want to remember all the bad things," he said.
Wearing a Red Sox T-shirt, 76-year-old Jim McDonnell from Littleton agreed.
"I think it's a shame how he was treated," he said.
Buckner was released by the Red Sox in the summer of 1987 and went on to play for the Angels and Royals. He returned to Boston for his final season in 1990, playing 22 games.
In 2008, Buckner finally accepted an invitation to throw out the first ball for the home opener at Fenway Park as the Red Sox celebrated winning another title.
Buckner drew loud cheers as he walked from the Green Monster in left field to the mound, and made his ceremonial toss to former teammate Dwight Evans.
Buckner said the moment was "probably about as emotional as it could get."
"I really had to forgive," he said later that day, "not the fans of Boston per se, but I would have to say, in my heart, I had to forgive the media for what they put me and my family through. So I've done that. I'm over that. And I'm just happy that I just try to think of the positive. The happy things."
Cleveland manager Terry Francona was the Red Sox skipper that afternoon.
"I thought it was kind of a healing moment, it seemed, for a lot of people and for him, I hope," Francona said before Monday's game. "You have to be up here to understand how people take things that happen. I thought that was a really cool moment."
That moment was played on the videoboard during the fifth inning, drawing cheers.
In a statement, Red Sox chairman Tom Werner praised "Billy Buck," saying he "personified toughness and grit, and his determination to play through pain defines him far more than any single play ever could."
Tweeted former Boston teammate Wade Boggs: "OMG such a sad day can't put it in perspective with the only reason why we made it to the World Series in 86."
Buckner lived in Boise, Idaho, after he finished playing. He was the hitting coach for the Chicago Cubs' minor league affiliate in Boise in 2012-13 and owned three car dealerships and several commercial properties in Idaho.
Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts called Buckner a "great ballplayer and beloved member of the Cubs family." Cubs Hall of Famer Ferguson Jenkins praised Buckner for helping his charity foundation.
Hall of Fame manager Tom Lasorda of the Dodgers called Buckner "one of the best competitors I have ever seen."
Buckner made his big league debut with the Dodgers at 19 in 1969 and became a batting champ with the Cubs. He had a career .289 average and totaled over 100 RBIs in three seasons, twice with Boston. Buckner finished with 174 home runs and 1,208 RBIs and he was a fast outfielder, once stealing 31 bases.
An old-school player with a mustache, Buckner was eager to swing — he had 9,397 career at-bats and never struck out 40 times in a season and never walked more than 40 times in a year.
He is survived by his wife, Jodi, two daughters and one son.

Top Brewers Recommend the 12 Best Seasonal Beers for Winter
Christmas—that most wonderful time of the year sandwiched in between Thanksgiving’s tryptophan-induced slumber and New Year’s  marathon. While mulled wine and punches might be the most traditional alcoholic go-to for the holiday season, you might want to try something a little more idiosyncratic this year: a cold beer.
Here is what some of the country’s top craft brewers will be drinking by the fire and during their own holiday festivities, selected both from their own superlative portfolios and personal favorites from other producers’ lineups.
Chris Schofield and Matthew Mills of Barreled Souls Brewing Co. (Saco, Maine)
A post shared by Barreled Souls Brewing Company (@barreledsouls) on Sep 8, 2017 at 11:56am PDT
Barreled Souls Bourbon Barrel-Aged Honey Pot “Around the holidays we love to dig into the cellar and pull out an old bottle of something big and barrel-aged. One of our favorites is Honey Pot aged in Hill Rock bourbon barrels. Each batch of this wheatwine [akin to a barleywine, although brewed with wheat] is made with 10 pounds of honey, lending sweetness and caramel flavors that blend perfectly with the vanilla and nutmeg character brought on by the barrel. And at 14.2 percent ABV, its enough to warm you up on a cool December night.”
A post shared by Firestone Walker (@firestonewalker) on Nov 2, 2017 at 1:28pm PDT
Firestone Walker XXI “One of the annual releases we most look forward to is Firestone Walker’s Anniversary Blend. This unique, commemorative blend from various barrel-aged beers always seems to be damn near perfect in its richness and is the type of decadent, warming brew we love to open during the holiday season. Clocking in at 11.8 percent ABV, the blend in this year’s version, XXI, was chosen by Jordan Fiorentini, head winemaker at Epoch Estate Wines, a Firestone Walker neighbor in Paso Robles, Calif., and one of Matt’s favorite California wineries.”
Tony Pellino of OEC Brewing (Oxford, Conn.)
A post shared by Ordinem Ecentrici Coctores (@oecbrewing) on Aug 30, 2017 at 7:20am PDT
OEC Brunneis Peat Smoked “Although not a winter warmer beer per se, Brunneis Peat Smoked will certainly do the job this winter. We put a new spin on our Flanders-style Oud Bruin this season with a healthy addition of peat-smoked malt. The beer starts rich, with a subtle earthy and smokey sweetness [that] quickly gives way to a dry, tannic, and acidic finish. You could drink it all day … if it weren’t 9.8 percent ABV.”
A post shared by Thorsten (@josefsbrauer) on Oct 30, 2017 at 10:18am PDT
Einbecker  Winter-Bock “I wait for this seasonal Einbecker with the highest anticipation level every year. The epitome of a fantastic bock [an eclectic old German style of lager with a signature malt-forwardness], it starts with a brilliant yet balanced caramel character right up front, has medium body with gorgeous ruby highlights throughout the liquid, and finishes on a soft, slightly spicy hop note. Unbelievably smooth for its 7.5 percent ABV.”
  Henok Fentie of Omnipollo (Sweden)
A post shared by @craftwhat on May 2, 2016 at 8:43pm PDT
Omnipollo Noa Pecan Mud Cake “We are obsessively into stouts at Omnipollo, and although we drink them all year, this style lends itself particularly well to seasonal sipping. Noa aims to bring back childhood memories; it’s big (11 percent ABV), yet soft and comfortingly dessert-y, evocative of chocolate pecan mud pies—a great pre- or post-dinner ‘snack’ by the tree.”
A post shared by Steve Charbeneau (@stevecharby) on Feb 4, 2017 at 6:05pm PST
Evil Twin Pappy's Even More Jesus “Two brewers are making the best stouts in the world right now: Cycle Brewing in Florida and gypsy brewer Evil Twin, primarily based in New York. This incredibly bold (12 percent ABV) and toasty imperial stout from Evil Twin (made at Westbrook in South Carolina) is rounded off perfectly by maturing in the best whiskey barrels available: Pappy Van Winkle’s. You could sit and smell it for an hour by the Christmas fire before drinking it.”
Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal Ales (Baltimore)
A post shared by Stillwater Artisanal (@stillwater_artisanal) on Nov 10, 2017 at 12:15pm PST
Stillwater Spaced + The Cloud “During this year’s ‘holidaze,’ I’m getting into well-balanced, hop-driven beers. Things you can drink with or without a meal. From our archives, particularly, I will be sipping on Spaced and the Cloud. Spaced (a low-gravity IPA brewed with spelt and wheat; 3.8 percent ABV) is a great anytime-beverage that still satisfies the hop-driven palate. Think: pregaming-before-your-family-comes-over kind of vibes. The Cloud takes it up a notch in texture, flavor, and ABV to 7 percent—this one is brewed with oats and lactose. It’s soft and fluffy, just like Santa’s beard.”
A post shared by Alex Cosmin (@alexcosminpetrut) on Dec 17, 2017 at 2:00am PST
Orval “During the holidays you’ll find me depleting the Orval inventory in any number of venues around the world. It’s perpetually in style and fairly easy to hunt down anywhere you may be traveling. I love Orval for it’s unique and timeless character. When freshly bottled, it is one of the OG hoppy Belgian beers—dry and crisp with floral dry hop aroma and 6.2 percent ABV. After a few months to a year of cellaring, the hops fade and the yeast develops an earthy and slightly tart, Champagne-like character. Truly world class.”
Zach Coleman of TRVE Brewing Co. (Denver)
A post shared by TRVE Brewing Co. (@trvebrewing) on Sep 22, 2017 at 3:36pm PDT
TRVE Cold “I’ll be crushing Cold, this Christmas because it is Denver’s ‘trvely’ [sic] premium pilsner (4.9 percent ABV). Brewed in the kellerpils style—an easy-drinking traditional German pilsner that’s unclarified, unfiltered, and unpasteurized—with Troubadour Pevec malt creates a slight fruitiness to its otherwise classic profile. Pevec is a two-row barley sourced from Colorado, just outside Fort Collins, and malted by Troubadour Maltings, so, with Cold, we are able to show our focus on and support for local ingredients.”
A post shared by Tasting Local (@tastinglocal) on Nov 17, 2017 at 10:34am PST
De La Senne Taras Boulba “I’ll also be crushing Taras Boulba from Brasserie de la Senne because it’s one of my favorite beers, and I’m always crushing it (#ouroborocrush). Its fruity and spicy notes from the Belgian yeast fermentation are accentuated by a balanced addition of hops. It’s also a dry and has a low ABV (4.5 percent), so, basically, all the makings for a sessionable beer—but it is the subtle complexity that keeps me coming back to it.
Alex Ganum of Upright Brewing (Portland, Ore.)
A post shared by Rudv Reyes (@808rude) on Jan 20, 2016 at 6:17pm PST
Upright Saison Bruges “Our main winter brew is a dark saison with cacao nibs—a fun departure from the sweeter, hop-forward seasonals normally seen this time of year. I've always had a soft spot for beers that have complex, layered profiles (orange, blackberry, earthy chocolate) and that also drink easily, where you can pick it apart slowly in a snifter or enjoy it somewhat blindly in a straight-sided glass. The Saison Bruges (6.75 percent ABV) is exactly that kind of beer.”
A post shared by Erin Randle (@erin_randle) on Dec 15, 2017 at 4:15pm PST
Deschutes Jubelale “In a region with so many new breweries, it’s easy for a beer enthusiast to neglect old standbys, but many of the breweries that paved the way for the rest decades ago are cranking out beer that tastes better than ever. Jubelale is a great example. This year’s brew (6.7 percent ABV) has a wonderful profile with attractive cacao notes and an appetizing bitterness, and as always showcases its characterful yeast strain.”

CANTLON: (WED) PACK TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS WITH FOURTH STRAIGHT WIN
Tumblr media
BY: Gerry Cantlon, Howlings HARTFORD, CT - The Hartford Wolf Pack (15-4-2-5) extended their winning streak to four games with a strong defensive effort, timely goal-scoring, and another strong performance in net from Igor Shesterkin all adding up to a 3-1 win over the Binghamton Devils before an announced crowd of 1,285, the second-lowest in franchise history by just ten fans. With the win, the Pack jumped back into first place in the Atlantic Division with 37 points, two ahead of the idle Providence Bruins. The game-winning goal came late in the third period after Tim Gettinger snared a long rebound, waited a few seconds for an open lane, and snapped home a 35-foot wrist shot over the glove hand of the Devils' goalie, Gilles Senn at 14:58. The goal was Gettinger's fifth of the season. “We got it down low and had a good forecheck going. (We) got it up to E (Nick Ebert). He got a good shot on net and it just popped out to me in the slot there, and I just fired it, and it went in." Gettinger said. Gettinger has been slowed recently with a slight groin injury but was back to his flying around self. “Coming back from a little injury, I felt good playing with Boo (Nieves) and Patrick (Newell). It’s been going very well. We’re learning about each other out there. For me personally, they're good players and are going to find me in spots and were able to do that tonight." The Devils (7-14-4-0) didn’t go quietly. They ruined Shesterkin's shutout bid at 17:49 with Kelly Summer coming off the right point and wiring his first of the season over his left shoulder. After that, the Pack's resilience kicked in. Nick Jones restored a two-goal lead with an empty-netter after stripping the puck from Devils defenseman, Dakota Mermis, with 38.3 seconds left in the game, icing it for Hartford. The game wasn’t exactly a barn-burner, racetrack-style hockey game. “The chances were not a lot in quantity for either team,” remarked Pack head coach Kris Knoblauch. “On both of ours (five-on-five goals), we made them count.” The Pack’s overall effort though was very pleasing for Knoblauch. “We got off to a good start and played in the offensive zone. We didn’t capitalize on some of them and passed-up a few good shots. In each game (of the current winning streak), we have found different ways to win, and tonight was one of those games.” The Wolf Pack scored the game's first goal early in the second period. Defenseman Vince LoVerde was operating on the point on his natural right side. He put a low shot on net that was double deflected. The first was from Gettinger and then Nieves, who was credited with just his second of the season at 4:55. “We were in hard on the forecheck there,” Gettinger said. “Patrick (Newell) was working hard along the boards and got it up top. I just tried to get to the front of the net, and Vince just got the shot on net. I was able to get the top and it went right to Boo’s stick. It was a big goal for us in the second.” It was, in fact, the only goal of the period and for the game, until Gettinger scored late in the third period. Shesterkin gave his usual solid play using an economy of movement on every save of the nine he faced. “He made the saves, but his work with the puck was very important tonight. In the second period, he makes the save and he isn’t looking for a whistle, he’s looking to make a play, so we don’t have a defensive zone draw. He also was moving the puck out of the zone on several other plays. He’s a very smart hockey player,” Knoblauch said of his goalie, who picked up his 10th win of the season. The first period was a tight-checking affair with just 13 shots between the two teams. The Packs' two best chances came on their only powerplay. Nick Ebert had a shot off the left point, and Joey Keane came in off the right point. Binghamton's best chance came on an open Chris Conner in front. His backhander was stopped cold by Shesterkin. LINES: Andersson-Fogarty-Beleskey Nieves-Gettinger-Newell O’Regan-Lettieri--DiGiuseppe Jones-Dmowsk-Zerter-Gossage Raddysh-LoVerde Keane-Geersten Rykov-Ebert SCRATCHES: Jeff Taylor (healthy) Ville Meskannen (see below) Gabriel Fontaine (season-ending - shoulder surgery). NOTES: Nieves was unavailable for a post-game interview due to his undergoing postgame medical. Steven Fogarty suffered a hand injury of some sort, dropping his glove after blocking a shot and headed immediately to the locker room. For a team on a four-game winning streak, and sitting fourth overall in the AHL, the Wolf Pack has moved several players over the last 36 hours. As expected, center Shawn McBride was reassigned to Norfolk (ECHL), while the other two were a surprise with the first, a complete shock. Hard-working veteran, Ville Meskanen, who was coming off a strong game against Binghamton last weekend, was placed on unconditional waivers for the purpose of releasing him from his contract. He is likely headed back to Finland to play in the Finnish Elite League or somewhere in Europe. He worked hard when he was a healthy scratch early in the season, and played fourth-line minutes optimizing his limited ice time. He has seen regular ice shifts recently and was effective, but had just two points, both assists, in the last ten games and four overall in his 20 games. The lanky winger had a strong freshmen campaign with 12 goals in 70 games. “I’ve been pleased with him all year. He really played well for us. A hard worker, a good teammate. I can’t say enough good things about him. I really enjoyed coaching him," Knoblauch said. "It was sad to hear that he was leaving. He felt the chances for him here in Hartford weren’t the best for him. He is likely to pursue options in Europe.” Out goes Meskanen and back comes Ryan Gropp from Maine where he tallied seven points in ten games. He initially refused to report and sat at home for three weeks before joining the Mariners. Gropp walked through the XL Center doors at 6:20 pm with his sticks and equipment bag in tow. The prep for Team USA's big game with Canada on Saturday is in full swing all throughout the building. They had an intra-squad scrimmage earlier this afternoon. Canada is practicing over in Cromwell. That practice is not open to the public according to several reliable hockey sources. Congrats to ex-Wolf Pack players Derek Armstrong, and goalie Robb Stauber for being named honorary captains for 2020 AHL All-Star Classic in Ontario, CA in January. The loquacious Armstrong was one of the founding pillars of the Wolf Pack franchise and the only 100 point scorer in the franchise history. He was the Jack Butterfield Playoff MVP during the Wolf Pack’s Calder Cup championship season in 2000. Stauber started his AHL career with the New Haven Nighthawks and ended it with the Wolf Pack. CRAWFORD: PACK POPPED BY BINGO, 5-3
Tumblr media
Binghamton Devils 5, Hartford Wolf Pack 3 BY: Bob Crawford, Hartford Wolf Pack Binghamton, NY, February 28, 2020 – Marian Studenic scored two third-period goals for the Binghamton Devils, and Nathan Bastian also scored twice, in a 5-3 win over the Hartford Wolf Pack Friday night at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. Team scoring leader Vinni Lettieri netted his 25th goal of the season for the Wolf Pack, and Ty Ronning had his first in 17 AHL games on the season.  Matt Beleskey also scored for Hartford, and J-F Berube made 22 saves.  Nick Merkley had the other Devil goal, and Egor Sharangovich dished out two assists. The only goal of the first period was scored by Bastian at the 2:17 mark.  Julian Melchiori spun along the right-wing boards and dropped the puck to Jeremy Groleau who was at the middle of the blue line, and his one-timer was tipped by Bastian past Berube. The Wolf Pack would get the next two goals, though, starting with Ronning’s tally at 2:10 of the second period.  Ryan Dmowski intercepted a Colton White pass high along the left boards in the Binghamton end and fed Ronning at the side of the slot.  He fanned on his first shot attempt, but then, on a second effort, sent a bid that found its way through the pads of Devil netminder Gilles Senn (18 saves). Lettieri then gave Hartford a 2-1 lead at 13:54.  Studenic passed the puck to the middle in his own end from the corner to Senn’s right, and it went off of Matt Tennyson’s stick in front of the net.  Lettieri grabbed control and fired a low shot past Senn. Binghamton tied it back up just 2:02 later, though, at 15:56, on a goal by Merkley.  A shot from the left point by Kyle Cumiskey was blocked, but the puck deflected right to Merkley at the bottom of the circle, and he was able to beat Berube with a quick, sharp-angle shot. The Devils then went ahead, 3-2, at 6:25 of the third period.  Janne Kuokkanen spun at the Wolf Pack blue line on the left side and fed a pass that went off of Patrick Newell’s stick and was eventually controlled by Sharangovich.  Brandon Crawley attempted to tie him up, but Sharangovich was able to get a one-handed shot on goal, and Studenic put in the rebound. The Wolf Pack power play got that goal back at 11:43, with Jesper Boqvist off for tripping.  Steven Fogarty passed the puck from in the slot to Ryan Gropp in the right circle, and he sent it towards the net.  Beleskey got his stick on it right in front of Senn and deflected it past the Binghamton goaltender on the glove side. Studenic gave the Devils the lead to stay at 14:13, however, with his second of the period, off of a faceoff to Berube’s left.  The Wolf Pack’s Shawn McBride appeared to beat Sharangovich on the draw, but Hartford could not control the puck.  Studenic grabbed it and moved into the middle, before ripping a shot that went past Berube high, with Kuokkanen screening. Bastian completed the scoring with his second goal of the contest, an empty-netter with one second left.  Darren Raddysh poked the puck out of his own end, but Bastian cut it off on the right-wing boards, at the centerline, and swept it into the open goal. The Wolf Pack are back in action Saturday night, heading to Bridgeport to visit the Sound Tigers.  Faceoff is 7:00, and all of the action can be heard live on-line at hartfordwolfpack.com.  Video streaming is available at theahl.com/AHLTV. The next Wolf Pack home game is this Sunday, March 1, a 3:00 contest vs. the Providence Bruins.  That is another chance to take advantage of the Wolf Pack’s “Click It or Ticket Hat Trick Pack”.  The Hat Trick Pack includes two tickets, two sodas, and one large popcorn, all for just $40.
