I really wish dc writers would allow themselves to admit that bruce and jasons relationship will never be the same as it was pre jasons death without constantly writing that back and forth of will they or won’t they. I wish they would allow jason to find the solace he had in bruce, alfred and dick as robin with new characters, new relationships. admitting and writing towards a new, not better or worse, but just different places in each others lives.
yes, you were the closest thing to a father figure I looked up to before, but I don’t want that from you anymore. I can’t have that from you anymore. and yeah, you were a kid who I wanted to raise and give better opportunities to. but I realize that I’m not in the same position to do that for you anymore, no matter how much I want to be able to.
just. growth.
I don’t want bruce and jason to keep slowly tearing each other apart for pieces of themselves that they genuinely can no longer give.

Happy birthday to my raccoon son, Right! Who is, once again, the guy on the left. (why do I never draw him on the right of the picture? We may never know. but it does put him on the right of who he's talking to so he's the right hand man - it works out somehow.)
For his bday he gets his love interest to cuss in his presence cause it's very funny to him and makes him happy to be a bad influence. Good job, Brent. You can say a bad word and make the love of your life happy.
For fun I did the lil DnD AU since cleric!Right is still fun to draw and I never actually drew bard!Brent except for a bust shot.

I have seen multiple posts about the new Zorro show this morning, so I suppose it just started? So, while it is a subject people are talking about:
The very first Zorro book, The Curse of Capistrano, later renamed as The Mark of Zorro, is available for free on Project Gutenberg, and it was genuinely one of my top 2 books of 2022 (it's a tie with the German pirate novel Ein Meer aus Feuer). Genuinely one of the best-paced things I've ever read. 100/10, would absolutely recommend.

There's something so crushing about the theory that Hopper is actually Will's father, and it truly is the Jonathan of it all. Imagine Jonathan finding out and thinking what? really? For a split second before realizing that no, it's not both of them. That would be crazy. It's just Will. Of course it's just Will.
