Arceus... Or Dialga... Or Celebi help me I'm messing up my time periods.
Why is it so hard to remember the names of the big regions. The time travel doesn't help.
Or whatever this is. Some messed up Isekai.
I shouldn't have read those bootleg Orre imports back home.

🎲 Anon here once again! When you said Volo is doing the family guy death pose. I can help but imagine Arceus just being aware, purposely making Volo do that pose for the joke.
I’d like to imagine the Meming streamer, being only a small streamer who enters a few contests here and there, and who loves battling however they suck at it.
They aren’t good with strategy, but they are good with one thing, bullshitting their way to victory.
Their lack of smarts is made up by a hella charismatic personality who can read and know the audience better than anyone else.
If they can’t win the battle they’ll win the audience. (Which will be a challenge when they get to Hisui, but they’ll pull it off occasionally)
They have a habit of using memes as a way to cope with stress. Even people who don’t get it can at least sense the good vibes.
Their heart is genuinely good too no matter how cowardly they can be at times.
It’s some of the best set up action comedy people have seen, and deep down the streamer is enjoying the chaos as well.
Unlike the Aura streamer who would change the world with love and strategy, the memeing streamer accidentally makes the world better just by being a loving gremlin, using memes and other strange ways to spread positivity and trust between Pokémon.
There is light to make out from and a dark situation at hand!
Even Arceus himself can’t be serious all the time, so to be a bit of a memer himself. He sent the streamer to be 100% themselves to save the Hisui region + catch all Pokémon.
They and their Pokémon slowly get better overtime with the stream and Ingo helping them with strategy.
However, what really mattered was the love shared, and it was clearly there.
When the streamer finally meets Arceus, music plays and it’s the heavy and intense drums, with a supporting ancient backup remix. The final battle is split between an actual battle and a dancing battle.
After the stream, people start to notice how the similar the music is…
It sounds really similar to Persona 4’s Specialist…and Arceus’s own 4 legged dance syncs perfectly to the song.
[It’s heavily debated by scientists, priests, and public whether he was actually using this]
So i had a whole thing written in response to this, and my phone thought it would be hilarious to give me a tumblr notification when im in the tumblr app and send me to the notification and delete the response 🙃 im still pissed about it
But i love the idea of a meme streamer!! You win everyone’s hearts one way or another! Even if you are a little silly doing so!
Just imagine you are out late at night looking for pokemon, and you are exhausted. You have one of your pokemon partners out with you to help keep you company.
Your Arcphone is streaming, and you turn it to face you as you try not to stumble down a hill.
“Me and the boys at 3 am looking for beans-“
Half your chat loses it. The other half begs you to go to a camp and sleep. You do not.

hm... i need to get this out of my head already...
So I’ve been thinking on and off about the possibility of Ingo having fallen into Hisui with his Poketch but since he lost his memories he doesnt remember how to use it...
To refrain from breaking it/to have people stop asking questions about what it is (please refrain from asking what it is he doesnt KNOW) he just takes it off and leaves it in his tent and kinda just ignores it until one day when he invites Akari over for a chat she stumbles upon it and is like “Oh you have some weird technology too?” and whips out her arcphone and compares them and he notices the watch also has those weird cirular pieces like whatever Akari is holding.
So shes like fiddling with it and pressing in the button and asking him how it works out of curiosity but ofc he has no idea what to do with it until Akari suddenly goes “Oh wait! Its probably just not charged!” and Ingo has to stare at her in confusion because What? What does she mean its ‘not charged’ what does that even...
So she pulls out her electric Pokemon and has it zap the watch and with bated breath she presses in the button... but nothing happens. Ingo watches her in confusion and looks between the watch and her face like...okay now what... so she hands off the watch to him and mumbles something something about finger prints maybe? and he has. No Idea. what shes talking about but whilst shes preocupied trying to figure out what to do he copies the motion she’d done by pressing in a little button on the side and suddenly the screen lights up! And Ingo is ecstatic! Because thats great! One of the few things he’d come to Hisui with is functionable again!
So on auto pilot he starts tapping at the screen without realising he just knows how to work this thing now apparently and notices a number in the corner of the screen that is. Quite Large. and he clicks on it and he and Akari watch as he scrolls through like... 200 unread messages from an unknown number (with no name and a fuzzy picture) that all, hilariously, look like variations of this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and thats how they find out Ingo WAS sent to Hisui for a reason.
He was originally supposed to be the one to ‘Seek Out All Pokemon’ because of his experties in battling and Pokemon knowledge but God Fucked Up Big Time and now he’s following an entirely different and unrelated path (out of sheer luck) as a Warden thanks to God being a little too rough with his weak human body.
(I keep thinking about how funny it would look though like- Because God picked him up from one place and un-ceremoniously dropped him in another without too much care so he just fucking gmod ragdoll DONKED off the ground and lost his memories upon impact with the earth and then does the family guy death pose or some shit. Once Arceus saw his head crack into something it was like UHM. And tried to grab his attention but nothing was really working so it was like AH FUCK SHIT MY PLANS......... and so when sending in Akari it made sure to. Not. Make the same mistake and do that again. <3 Humans must be placed... a little bit more lightly on the ground hahaha-)

Have you decided how Ingo gets returned home? Like, was it accidental? Was there another Rift? Did Arceus notice that Ingo was, metaphorically, lost between the couch cushions and just throw him back?
I was about to say, 'no, I have no idea, mcguffin plot device?' Except then you smacked me between the eyes with "Did Arceus notice that Ingo was, metaphorically, lost between the couch cushions and just throw him back?" and how can I not have that be what happened, yo??? When it is so S-tier???? When it is so incredibly galaxy brain?????
So, here's how it happens: Akari goes home first (and it's official now for this AU that Lucas is the Champion of Sinnoh and Akari is the one who got sent back, so while she's not the Champion of Sinnoh she's also not Dawn (gasp, AKARI AND DAWN ARE ALSO TWINS IN THIS, YES!)), and she's home for a bit, relieved to be there and all, and then she decides to check in on Ingo, see how he's adjusting, and. Um.
Turns out Ingo's still missing.
Cue Akari calling up Arceus on her arcphone and going, "Are you there, god? It's me, Akari. What the fuck, why isn't Ingo home yet?"
And Arceus replies, "Whom?"
"Ingo? Warden Ingo, aka Subway Boss Ingo, who got dropped through one of Volo's stupid rifts by mistake and is now stuck in the past, with no memory of his life and separated from everyone here who loves him?"
"Hmmm, a moment." (scanning scanning scanning) "Thou art correct, 'tis exactly as thou hast spoken - a most grievous oversight upon mine own part, which I shall rectify anon. Until next we speak, hero." (Because, unlike the frickin' professional translators, I actually know how to properly conjugate and use ye olden speak ('thou is' my left foot, that's exactly like saying 'you is,' I'm going to scream into the void so loud Giratina issues a noise complaint)
"Thanks, Arceus, you're the best!"
And then Arceus just frickin' yeets Ingo back to his present time, and decides they're going to be super benevolent about it and let him take his pokemon with him, because the bond between human and pokemon is precious and should not be lightly severed! And they'll even deposit him near his twin, so they can find each other easily, since the world is Very Big and humans are Very Small and Get Lost Easily.
Except the moment Arceus locks onto Ingo, Melli's also there with his own pokemon, and Arceus doesn't look quite closely enough to notice, "Oops, those aren't all Ingo's pokemon, and in fact one of them is actually a second human." And that's how Ingo and Melli go from being in the middle of yet another argument about the torches to a heap on the ground in that park in Nimbasa!
Thanks for the ask!

If ranch captures somehow transfer to modern day big region PC boxes something in there is going to be flagged. I'm not sure my Celebi friendship could get me out of that one.
...if I ever get back.
Dammit, Arceus.
There's... how many people in the world? and you pick me.
...at least Tou is warm in the Icelands.

If anyone asks me an invasive question about my Zoroark again, I think they may get mauled on her behalf. Kinda worried about going back to Jubilife.
