SENTIMONSTER THEORY:

WHO CREATED ADRIEN AND WHO CREATED FELIX?

This is all the information I gathered from the functioning of sentimonsters. So here's the deal.

In my opinion, Emilie created Adrien. That's why she's dead, because she used the broken peackcock miraculous to do so.

Neither Gabriel, nor Nathalie, nor Amelie, could have created Felix nor Adrien. Why? Because there is only one sentimonster per peackock mirculous holder. Gabriel is Shadow Moth. Nathalie was Mayura. Both could create sentimonsters, therefore, THEY HADN'T CREATED SENTIMONSTERS BEFORE. PLUS, IF THEY HAD, THEY WOULD ALREADY BE IN A COMA. (Nathalie used the miraculous on screen, we've seen her use it, we've seen her get ill as the episodes came out)

Plus, Amelie is completely fine. Therefore, she has not used the peackock miraculous before...

BUT FELIX's FATHER IS DEAD. WE DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIM, BUT THAT'S THE ONLY INFO WE'VE GOT FROM HIM. AND IF WE DO THE MATH, HE MAY HAVE DIED AT THE SAME TIME OF EMILIE'S DISSAPEARANCE. HE MAY HAVE USED THE MIRACULOUS TO CREATE FELIX! BECAUSE EMILIE COULDN'T HAVE CREATED TWO SENTIMONSTERS AT ONCE, CAUSE ASTRUC EXPLICITELY SAID THE RULE: 1 HOLDER CAN CREATE 1 SENTIMONSTER AT THE TIME.

But now, a few questions arise: why does Gabriel have the rings if Felix's father used one to create Felix? Shouldn't Felix's ring be in the Graham de Vanily Family?

And now, another crazier theory: Those are TWIN RINGS. Amelie said that in the episode titled Felix in S3, and also talked about Adrien and Felix looking like twins more than cousins.

We don't know how the peackock miraculous got broken. If it had gotten broken when Master Fu lost the miraculous and destroyed the temple, then Hawk Moth's miraculous should have gotten broken too... But it did not get broken. Sth tells me, that the peackock one got broken later. What if... Emilie tried to create two sentimonsters at one time, and that's why she broke the miraculous? Let me explain you sth: In real life, twins exist because two ovules are fecundated by two sperms. Let's take the biology into the show: one feather into one ring, and another feather into another ring, resulting in Adrien and Felix... TWINS. THAT'S WHY THEY LOOK SO ALIKE? Yeah, that could also be, because their resemblance comes from their mothers looking very alike too.. but... WHAT IF....

Nice Guy Adrien the Musical - ACT III (also Spin-Off + Sequel Material)

→ Act 3 has been adapted into my fic “Bewildered,” so we’ll probably be treading a lot of old ground here. However, I will get to explore different scenarios for a follow-up here.

--> I will be creating a FAQ of sorts once this installment is finished, so feel free to send in questions and I will try to answer them as best as I can. Please note that if Lenore has already answered something, I will be linking to it instead, maybe giving an alternative perspective if I feel it’s appropriate.

The next day, Alya goes to confront Lila, especially with all the comments she’s been receiving on the Ladyblog. At first, Lila tries to play innocent, and say that Bewitched just made her say all that stuff. However, various comments have pointed out that it makes sense that Lila is lying - none of her stories on the Ladyblog add up. And considering the type of person Ladybug is, she wouldn’t make friends with someone like Lila. Lila finally gives up and reveals her true colors. However, she still tries to convince Alya that she’s wrong for trying to tell the truth, and things would have been fine if she just continued to lie. Alya leaves, unconvinced, and thinks of a way to properly apologize to Marinette. (Lies)

Marinette goes to hang out with Luka, and asks him how he hears the song of someone’s heart. As they talk a little bit about the previous day and how seedy Hawkmoth is, Luka ends up confessing his feelings for her and how much she matters to him. He walks her home, and she’s content, until she sees that Adrien is standing there, waiting for her. (Perfect for You)

Marinette demands to know what Adrien is doing there. Adrien thinks that yesterday was just a “hissy fit” of sorts and that she didn’t really mean any of it. However, Marinette isn’t having it and makes it perfectly clear that Adrien is no longer welcome in her life. Before things can escalate any further, Kagami intervenes and has her bodyguards escort Adrien back to the Agreste mansion. (Buy the Stars)

Inside the bakery, Kagami and Marinette sit down for an important conversation. Marinette once again apologizes to Kagami about their rivalry over Adrien, but Kagami says they’ve moved past that. They then move into the conversation of romance, and what they would like from a partner. Kagami admits that she’s somewhat envious of Marinette’s parents and how happy they appear to be. Kagami also admits that she has feelings for Marinette (she also makes it clear she knew Luka intended to confess). Finally, Kagami returns Tikki to Marinette, reminding her that she’s a great Ladybug. As they walk out, a familiar face is waiting outside for her. (What I Need)

Seeing that Alya has been waiting for her, Marinette attempts awkward conversation with her, asking about the Ladyblog. Alya doesn’t dwell on it but mentions that she spoke with Lila, and makes it clear she no longer believes Lila. She apologizes for how she’s acted toward Marinette lately. Chloe then arrives on the scene, to the disapproval of Kagami. Marinette assures her that it’s okay, but just in case, Kagami asks Felix to come over. Marinette also makes it clear to both girls that while she appreciates their apologies, she’s going to need some time to heal from everything to properly forgive them. Before they leave, Chloe has a separate conversation with Marinette about her being Ladybug, including asking her about the next cat. (Sorry)

Felix finally arrives to chat with Marinette, and Chloe leaves. Taking him inside, Marinette learns that Felix kept the miraculous even after everything had been fixed. He intends to return it, but Marinette doesn’t want him to. He’s confused, thinking he’s not a viable option, especially compared to Luka and Kagami. However, Marinette disagrees and encourages him. Felix opens up about how happy he’s been since moving to Paris and meeting the three of them. Cue another confession. With the rest of the day left, Marinette chooses to rest and think about how to talk to everyone else the next day. (Everywhere)

Gabriel has chosen to stop being Hawkmoth to draw less suspicion to himself, at least for now. He somewhat regrets creating another akuma that targeted Adrien. However, he’s also upset that Adrien’s boneheaded behavior caused the whole mess in the first place, especially when he came close to retrieving one of the miraculouses. Adrien is escorted back to the mansion, and Gabriel makes it clear that he will not be returning to school. Escorted back to his room, Adrien begins to rant to Plagg when he realizes that the kwami is gone. However, he isn’t content to just sit around and mope about it. He begins scheming a way to get back into the game. He recalls the book of miraculous holders that was in his dad’s vault. Maybe that will be a clue. He sneaks out of his room and gets to the vault. The final shot of the show/episode shows Adrien holding up either the butterfly or peacock up in the air. (Bet On It)

Curtains fall.

And now for some potential prequels and sequels:

Fox Tales!: A spin-off musical set in Lila’s perspective, starting slightly before she arrives in Paris, and includes everything up until the beginning of the sequel, when she joins Adrien. So far, potential numbers include either Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing or Kill the Lights (Marinette confronting Lila), Ring of Keys (for Rose or Juleka), and Something Isn’t Right Here (An ex-classmate of Lila’s trying to convince everyone the truth about Lila). Might also have Too Cool? (for either Chloe or Lila, this one isn’t a definite but I think it’d be funny if Chloe was singing this to Lila). Alya and Nino get more to do here as well, and ideally, Nino would get his own song or two (maybe Nino is ideally happy to see Adrien date Lila instead of Marinette, because he’s getting obsessive?) This one is pretty much guaranteed to happen, and is ideally seen before the sequel.

Future Hawkmoth!Adrien and Stalker!Lila: Based off this post. Adrien steals the butterfly and recruits Lila, who is now obsessed with Marinette after she’s been exposed by Bewitched. Events cause for futures Kagami, Luka and Felix to come to the present and present their current timelines selves with different miraculouses to save a kidnapped Marinette from Butterfly!Adrien and Lila (possibly with the Peacock). Bonus scene of Marinette and Nooroo bonding. There’s plenty of gushing about future Marinette, but also implications that she gave up the ladybug miraculous again, and instead took over the mouse. Also, because of Adrien, Marinette decided to give up pursuing a career in the fashion industry and became a professor instead. Luka is a music therapist, and both Felix and Kagami work in surveillance. When they aren’t moonlighting as heroes, of course.

Corrupted Akumas: In this version, Adrien ends up getting the peacock miraculous first, and attempts to use a sentimonster to steal the butterfly but fails. His father finds out about this, and is worried because of the effects the peacock can have on him long-term. Adrien decides to use this to his advantage - he will continue to endanger himself using the peacock until his father gives him the butterfly, realizing that he’s Hawkmoth. In response, Hawkmoth sends an akuma after Adrien, but he counters with a sentimonster that manages to steal the miraculous. Adrien becomes the new Hawkmoth, but there’s a drawback - the curse of the peacock has now spread to the butterfly. Every time Adrien tries to create an akuma, the akuma will be “corrupted” in someway, as in, the powers its intended to have will function otherwise. His first plan is to draw in Lila to his side and then divide and conquer the new miraculous team. Meanwhile, Marinette gets closer to Luka, Kagami and Felix.

Questions about the Sentimonsters // ML "RISK" SPOILERS AHEAD

After the events in “Risk” I decided to rewatch a few ML episodes again, to refresh the whole Sentimonster thing in my mind.

And I’ve got LOTS of questions, so I need your help, Miraculers!

First, why couldn’t Shadow Moth nor Mayura detect that Chat Noir, a.k.a Adrien, is a sentimonster? Is it, because Chat Noir/Adrien doesn’t have the object with the amok with him, right?

Thomas Astruc once tweeted the following:

So, according to him, and what we’ve seen in “Feast”, Nathalie (as Mayura) sensed an amok inside the blue sentimonster, which was created by Master Fu. The senti had swallowed the object where its amok was hidden.

So, Nathalie sensed an amok inside the blue sentimonster, and realized it was a sentimonster. She didn’t sense the senti for being a senti, she sensed the amok inside the sentimonster, and realized the blue thing WAS a sentimonster. Am I correct?

Ok, so let’s keep going.

So, the reason why Shadow Moth nor Mayura can sense Chat Noir as a Sentimonster, is because Chat Noir hasn’t got the object with the amok with him? Right? All in All, the holders of the peackock miraculous cannot sense sentis, BUT the amok within an object. Isn’t it? And I’m still doubting myself, because MiraculousMX once tweeted this:

“No one other than the holder of the peackock miraculous can detect sentis, [obviously, Master Fu wouldn’t know what had happened]“ [And here’s some context: Since Master Fu wasn’t the holder of the peackock Miraculous, he couldn’t sense that the blue sentimonster he had created was still alive.] BUT wasn’t it that the holder of the peackock COULD NOT sense the sentimonster as a being, but the AMOK inside the controlling object, instead? If I understood her tweet correctly, other peackock miraculous’ holders can sense sentimonsters and therefore should be able to sense Chat Noir too, UNLESS the quantic magic that protects Chat Noir identity from being discovered by others, protects him from being discovered as a sentimonster, too. If you’re not keen on this “quantic magic” thingie, I’m referring to the one talked about during the New York special. Here a few screenshots:

All in All, I believe that SM nor Mayura could sense Chat Noir as a sentimonster, because he didn't have the amok with him. Idk what about MiraculousMX, since she is a brand ambassador and also a trustworthy source, so I believe, I'm making a mistake of some kind. If someone's willing to explain, I'm all eyes 👁

And I’ve got one more question.

As Thomas Astruc tweeted:

Sentimonsters are controlled by the owner of the object in which their amok is hidden. We’ve seen this in “Ladybug”, S3. When Mayura got hold of Sentibug’s keychain (where Sentibug’s amok was hidden), Mayura was the only one that could control Sentibug. BUT once Sentibug got hold of her keychain, she got to be free to do whatever she wanted, because she was *now* the owner of the object where HER amok was hidden.

If this is correct, because it indeed is, since Astruc explained it... Then why, in “Feast” S3, did Nathalie say THIS. It was in the english dub. And I will QUOTE:

“But since I wasn't the one who *created* it, I won't be able to control it“ (EPISODE "FEAST", S3, MIN 08:28)

it= Sentimonster.

Yeah, she didn’t create the sentimonster, it was Master Fu. But why did she say this? When Mayura created Sentibug, she could only control Sentibug through the keychain with Sentibug’s amok. Once Sentibug got hold of the keychain, Mayura couldn’t control her any longer. (The only way in which Mayura could sort of control her, was by having the final say regards Sentibug's life. Since Mayura has the peackock Miraculous, she can destroy amok's with the snap of her fingers, even though she hasn't created the sentimonster. [See, "Feast". She could destroy the blue sentimonster if she wanted, even though it was Master Fu's creation.]) Then... Why did she say in "Feast", that since she wasn’t the blue sentimonster’s creator, she wouldn’t be able to control it? Wouldn’t it be better if she said: But since I don’t have *the object with the amok*, I won’t be able to control it?” Or what am I understanding wrong from all this? I really don’t want to disrespect the writers of the show, for deciding to use that specific dialogue. I just want to understand!

I know that someone has already explained all this before, and I believe it was in twitter. If anyone has a link/screenshot to the entire explanation, please let me know! And if you have corrections to make me, please do so too! I don’t want to spread false info. I just want to understand.

AND NOW, THE MAIN REASON WHY I’M ASKING ALL THIS:

It’s theory time: We know that Adrien has been homeschooled for his entire life. That was when his mother was still alive. In “Risk”, S4, Gabriel said to Nathalie, that he entrusted her with the ring of HIS WIFE and the LIFE of his SON. Which means, Adrien’s amok is hidden in EMILIE’S ring. So, EMILIE has been CONTROLLING ADRIEN for his entire life. And I’d theorize that GABRIEL had the ring with FELIX’S amok all along. But I’m not sure about this.

But let’s go back in track: EMILIE CONTROLLED ADRIEN FOR HIS ENTIRE LIFE. When she got into a coma, she stopped controlling Adrien for a bit, and then he got to escape his house and try to go to public school (SEE ORIGINS P1 AND P2 IN S1)... Could this be the reason why Adrien, for the first time in his entire life, got to defy the orders of his parents and leave the house? Just because his mother "disappeared" and stopped controlling Adrien for a bit? Or did Gabriel, at this time, retrieve HER RING, with Adrien's amok? (But this wouldn't explain how Adrien got to leave the place where he was supposed to be locked in.)

Lol, if I’m being correct, this would explain why Emilie is married to a psychopath, because she’s a psycho herself? I really don’t want to disrespect Emilie since I don’t know her, BUT this would explain everything. If she created Adrien, if she raised him with Gabriel, they would have AGREED to keep him locked in the house! So, Emilie and Gabriel have been villains all along. Yes, Emilie. The woman Adrien loves so much because he’s still not realizing that he has been controlled by her too. (Let’s never forget that in Risk, Adrien also said that he loved his dad, even though he’s been controlling him for four seasons straight lol. And 14 years.)
