However, he spun quickly to face her. A nervousness flooded her. 'Well, that was real fun world. Sayonara.

His grand height bent, strands of silver starlight cascading. "Woman," his voice seemed to be regaining confidence. Seeing the blood rise in her cheeks, he needed to ask. He needed confirmation, "Are you trying to seduce me?"

Kagome felt her embarrassment fill every ounce of her body. Her tongue felt thick, and she found it difficult to form a coherent sentence in her brain.

The hamster had completely fallen out the wheel.

If he had not held gently to the hem of her robe, she would have bolted. What threw her further from sanity, the beauty before her, smiled ever so softly. That's it. She truly must have died.

Am I eventually gonna ink and color, yes! Is it gonna be right now- NO! 😅

SessKag Fluff Week, Day 5 Touch

Prompt: "Are you trying to seduce me?" 300 words. AO3.

Sesshoumaru leaned against a pillar on the engawa, holding a sake dish. His dark blue kimono gaped open at his chest; its sleeves left his forearms exposed. His eyes were closed, head tipped up towards the night sky. His silver-white hair gleamed in the moonlight, spilling down his back and across the dark polished wood floor. 

Kagome paused in the open doorway and just drank him in. It still felt so new and precious to see him fully relaxed in unguarded moments. Her heart was full in her chest, and she couldn’t quite believe how lucky she was. As she stared at him, silently absorbing his ethereal beauty, he inhaled deep. A slow smile bloomed on his lips, stopping her breath. 

Cloth whispered as she walked out onto the terrace and over to him. “Are you trying to seduce me?” 

He cracked one eye open, its golden glow pinning her down as his smile widened.  

“Trust me, beloved,” he drawled, “if I was, you would not need to ask.” 

Kagome laughed as he downed his sake and put down the empty dish. Faster than she could blink, Sesshoumaru’s hand shot out, wrapped around her wrist and pulled. 

She tumbled into his lap and was caught, his arms around her waist caging her against his chest. He leaned in, his nose brushing her cheek in passing. One strong, possessive hand slid down to cup her ass and urge her hips flush against his.  

“What about now, my Miko?” he murmured into the corner of her lips, sending her head spinning. “Do you still need to ask your silly question?” 

Kagome shook her head, tangling her fingers into his hair. “You’re already succeeding,” she breathed. 

And tugged his face to hers, crashing her lips against his in a fierce, wild, exuberant kiss.

I apologize for the delay in response. 

I'm in agreement with you on the need for some good fics after Yashahime. We already have a few rec lists that meet your criteria, such as the family/pregnancy list and the have kids list but there have been some new fics posted since then or that we haven’t featured before. I've compiled a list below.

5. Do you respond to comments? why/why not?

I usually do the week when I post a fic, but i stop after that period of time. I don't respond mostly because I dont know what to say... I love each and every comment!!! I just get nervous.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Hmmmm, I'd say What could have been. It's a DP fic from Phic Phight 2022 and the prompts I used weren't necessarily angst material, but I tied them together in a story meant to leave you empty.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I don't do "happy" endings? I think I do "realistic" endings - main quest is conquered but we lost and gained things in the way.

I do write a lot of fluff and unapologetic one shots, so I would consider all of those "happy" endings.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Yes.

Fortunately is not a normal event in my fics, but now that I have dipped my toes in comic book fanfiction I've gotten my fair share of purists and know-it-alls that come to my comments to educate me on what it's "canon" and explain to me how my interpretation is wrong.

That aside, I'm not afraid to portray "problematic" ships and delicate situations ,mainly mental health stuff. I'm not the first or the last person that pour themselves in their writing and use fictional characters as a medium to work on some personal things. Of course that's gotten me enough comments telling me how disgusting I am and how I'm writing XYZ wrong.

9. Do you write smut? if so, what kind?

Yes. I don't have a lot posted, but I have WIPs.

Mostly BDSM and how important it is to trust your partner.

10. Do you write crossovers? what's the craziest one?

Mostly DPxDC!

I did have an insane crossover between Twilight and a book not a lot of people know. TBH im keeping that information to myself xd.

11. have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yes.

There's a russian website that reposts fics.

And also people reposting my stuff in wattpad with a "credits to the author [name]" but they never asked me for permission.

Yes! I'm co-writing a fic with some close friends and my girlfriend. And another fic with just my girlfriend, but I'm so slow with it lmao

I don't want to jinx myself.

But probably the DP longfic. It's just. So long.

I've been told that my characters feel very real and that I write dynamics in a very organic way. In romance, I think I'm very good at portraying falling in love.

In general I've also been told I describe things in a way you can feel it, like you really are there.

17. writing weaknesses?

English is not my native language and I make a lot of mistakes, grammar wise. Or I let my weird miss matched speech patterns bleed into my characters and make them sound not quite right.

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

Again, I'm native Spanish speaker, so I do write in English regularly xd

Other languages, I'd need someone that speaks that language to help me.

19. first fandom you wrote for?

Inuyasha. I was about 11 years old. Those fics were written in Microsoft Word 2003, in script format (aka "theater" format), and every character had an assigned color and I would switch colors every dialogue line.

20. fave fic you've ever written?

Difficult to choose.

I love a lot of my fics, even older ones.

100th Fic Ask

Well, I did it. I wrote 100 fics in a year. It was never a goal I started out with, but as the summer drew nearer, I noticed how close I was and managed to get in a few more under the wire. I'm at like 110 right now, cuz I wasn't about to start this right before SessKag week, but who's counting, right?

So, time to celebrate! Since y'all's comments and encouragement are why I was able to make that number in the first place, this is my gift to you! Send in a pairing, an occupation, and a colour, and I'll write you a ficlet (and I'm going to try really hard to stick to that) with a kiss in it! Let's share the fluff!

A few rules about the pairings:

They must be from the Inuyasha series.

All aspects of LGBTQ+ are welcome!

If Sess or Kags is paired with anyone else, it'll be in a platonic/familial way.

Pairings must be "appropriate", so this means no major age gaps, no pairings that would be considered grooming, no incest, etc. Let's keep the fluff clean.

It's my discretion on how to interpret the kiss (so it may not always be a romantic setting).

Main pairings I work with (but am not limited to) are SessKag, KimiKagu, InuKog, ShipSot. Aside from SessKag though, if y'all want me to pair up any of those characters with other people, I'm open to it. Get creative!

He'd not visited her. He simply was more present in the village, that's all.

It's not like he sought her out.

No. Not at all. She just happened to be the only adult competent of holding proper conversations with.

It's not like he was now standing in her doorway watching her gather her and the boy's washings.

"Look, I know why you've been around so much lately," she sighed. "He's a good kid. You should know that well enough," she lifted the basket.

"She is free to choose whom she spends -"

"Yeah, yeah, Papamaru," she smiled. "Rin really likes him, you know." While his features did not change, she saw the shift in his iridescent gaze. "Don't worry, I'll watch them while you're not around," her eyes smiled at him. "And if he does anything to hurt her, I'm sure Sango will even help teach her baby brother how a lady should be treated," she giggled softly.

He stared at her, "I see you have not fully integrated into wearing proper-"

"No," she scolded, "Don't you dare say something about my thermal dress! It's cold, and a kimono does not cut it in wintertime. I don't care about your 'proper' yadayada. It's not like I've access to- "

Before he registered the thought, he spoke, "Ask this one."

A nervous laugh escapes her after a moment, "No, that's a bit much."

He followed behind her to the river bed, the silence was heavy even for nighttime.

He grumbled in his thoughts, 'Let me be as clear as possible.' His fingers caught gently catching the obsidian strands, freezing her in her tracks. Her startled unblinking gaze slowly meeting his.

After a pregnant pause, she finally spoke nervously, "Do I stink?"

This was proving more difficult than he'd thought it would be...

Time To Get Up

SessKag Fluff Week, Day 4 Hurt/Comfort

Prompt: Ache 700 words. AO3. Trigger warnings at the end of the post!!!

Kagome lay on her futon. Sunlight painted the shouji screen luminous white, mocking her with its warm and bright cheer. She would have much rather swathed herself in full dark but turning to face the corner would have required too much energy. So, she stared helplessly at the playful sunbeams while resentment bubbled like venom in her veins. She punched the tatami floor as the throbbing ache started again in her left leg, like being stabbed by thousands of pins and needles. Would it ever end? she wondered glumly. She would have cried if she had any tears left in her. 

But the only things remaining in her soul were pain and bitterness and those deep shadows she wanted to lose herself in. She craved the oblivion of sleep; wouldn’t have minded too much if she never woke up again. But the sun was in her eyes and even sleep had abandoned her. 

A door slid open behind her, and Kagome squeezed her eyes shut. She couldn’t deal with them; Inuyasha, Shippou, Sango and Miroku. Their well-meaning encouragement, their soft and sympathetic murmurs, all their glasses half full. She wanted none of that. She had seen the gleam of pity in their eyes. 

“Go away.” Her voice, unused for however long, was a sorry rasp. Whoever it was, she didn’t want to see them. Whatever they had to say, she didn’t care to listen. 

“This has gone on long enough, miko,” a cold voice spoke from directly above her. 

She stiffened, her gaze flickering up. She hadn’t expected a visit from him, of all people. But there Sesshoumaru was, towering over her and pinning her down with his sharp gold stare. 

“Agree to disagree,” she muttered and turned back to stare at the shouji screen and the stupid sunlight. 

“You have lain here for three weeks now and from the smell of it you have not bathed in all that time. You have not touched your food for the past five days. Your friends are worried.” 

“I don’t care.” 

“They might coddle you and let you drown in your own misery, but this Sesshoumaru will not. This will end now, miko.” 

“Why do you care?” 

“Because this is not like you. Because you can get over this. Because I have been where you are, right now.” 

Kagome’s hand clenched into a fist but she did not rise to the bait. 

Sesshoumaru’s feet entered her line of vision. Two perfect and healthy appendages that steadily supported his weight. 

And he growled out his impossible command: “Get up.” 

The broken thing inside of her rattled and a dry, horrible laugh bubbled to her lips.  

“Can’t.” She bared her teeth at him. “Didn’t they tell you?” 

“They told me all about the attack,” he told her, matter of fact. Then, he was crouching beside her and pulling the heavy quilt off her. 

She didn’t protest, simply stared at him in mute defiance. Let him see. He’d understand, then. 

Sesshoumaru tilted his head, studied what was left of her leg. “The wound is healing well,” he commented, claw-tipped finger gracing the healing skin. 

Kagome hissed out a breath as the toes that no longer were there curled at the contact. 

“It still hurts,” she snarled through gritted teeth. 

“I know,” he answered simply. “It is a cruel irony, that constant ache of limb one has lost. It is akin to living with a ghost.” 

Kagome’s gaze flickered to Sesshoumaru’s left arm and then up to meet his eyes. His steady gaze trapped her. There was no pity there. His golden eyes were clear and what she saw in them stole her breath. The numb corners of her heart shivered. Something that had drowned deep within poked through the murky waters and glimmered.   

He held out his hand to her, his stare still boring to her very soul, seeing all of her. And accepting, understanding what lived there now. 

“Come, Kagome,” he said. And though it still was a command, his voice was gentler now. “It is time to get up.” 

Kagome’s fingers trembled as she settled her hand into his. Tethered by his gaze, supported by his strength, she let him pull her up.

Pride/Violet

For day two of @sins-week! Some SessKag fluff

She was tired and sore, emotions always swinging from utter elation to deep, gasping sadness, and she really just needed to take a nap.

But she wouldn’t miss this for the world.

Her twins were sleeping and soon they’d wake and need to be fed, which was something only she could do in the era they currently lived, but Sesshomaru was hunched over crossed legs just inches away, holding her hand across the space between them as another Inuyokai she’d only just met meticulously etched two matching violet lines on his lower back between his hip bones.

She’d never forget learning that his stripes were essentially tattoos, even the ones on his eyelids and the moon on his brow, and they were all meant to signify something significant, their colors and shapes meant to symbolize certain things to the people in his clan.

On his shoulder she she could see the magenta swirl he’d gotten after their marriage and mating, and her eyes watered as she remembered how completely happy she’d been when she’d watched him receive that one.

These current ones he was receiving to celebrate their twins, their first children of what they hoped would be many, twin boys with her black hair and his golden eyes who’d rocked their world and burst open their hearts.

A sob broke through as she remembered how he’d held them so tenderly, a look of such open and honest awe on his usually placid face as he took in their curls, their scrunchy faces, their softly pointed ears, their teeny little claws. A balance of human and demon that he’d one time in his life looked down on as inferior now held nearly the entirety of his heart, and he was fiercely proud of them.

He glanced over at her, smiling softly, discreetly, wincing as the artist giving him more stripes dug in near his spine with the glowing poison strong enough to mark a daiyokai’s body, and then his lids slid closed, his hand squeezing hers more tightly as tears continued to slide silently down her face.
