Shout out to trans people who wear diapers as a part of coping over a lost childhood. Age regression often helps coping with how you spent your childhood as the wrong gender. Regardless of how you were affected by your childhood, it can be nice to incorporate diapers as a part of creating a gender affirming version of your childhood.

"Excuses" that I've used for my Little Gear since becoming a Regressor:

Pacifier: It was a joke gift from a friend.

Teething Ring/Chewlery: It helps my anxiety. I have a habit of chewing my cheek. I like the sensation of biting.

Stuffies: I really like this character/animal.

Kids Toys: I used to have this toy when I was little. I used to love these toys as a kid. I've started collecting them.

Dips: I don't like stopping on long road trips. I get anxious about accidents when I get stuck in traffic.

Sippy Cup/Bottle: It's more fun to drink out of than regular cups.

Kids Coloring Books: They're more fun than adult coloring books. I really liked this show/character as a kid.

Baby Plates: It has my favorite childhood cartoon on it. I hate when my food touches.

Baby Foods: I wanted to try it. I loved these as a kid. I used to eat them from my younger sibling when they were babies.

Onesie PJs: I get really cold at night. I think it's cute on me. I love this pattern. It's comfortable.

Anything along the lines of "I thought it was cute/cool" or "I have younger siblings/cousins" also works too!

At the end of the day however, why you buy something shouldn't concern others as long as it's safe for you and makes you happy!

Since lately there seems to be an influx of k*nk blogs breaking age regressors' DNIs, here are some tips:

Make sure to check your notes when you are in your big headspace. Some of those blogs have explicit content in their headers, and it could be upsetting to see in a regressed headspace

If one of those blogs leaves a nasty comment on one of your posts, also delete the comment before blocking them. So you can avoid other regressors seeing it, and it will keep your notes safe for them

Use filtered tags. They make checking blogs so much easier! You can quickly see if a blog has content that breaks your DNI without having to see said content or having to read the tags

Go check out @regressors-blocklist ! So you can block nasties before they even get the chance to interact with your posts
