They are prophecy kids! Twins! Deeply hurt but still choose love! Both of them have sick magic powers (Rita is stopping time, aster is minds/illusions). They are holders (have a spirit (godlike entity) inside of them)! They are silver and gold themed. They are my lovelies.

Sophie and Sam are adopted twins, or so they call themselves anyway, with there being literally exactly a month in between their birthdays, October 22nd and September 22nd respectively.

Sophie was technically, the "first" sibling, having been taken in by the twins father, Felix, at 6 months, and she's always been something…special, Sophie. from as little as 1 she could make objects disappear and appear as she pleased, randomly change the colour of food and water, and even her own physical appearance, changing her naturally blonde hair to black to match her father. Sophie was an Avatar of Creation, part of a long lineage of beings known as The Hins.

The Hins, born every time a previous one perishes, are the embodiment of pure creation, or as its known in universe, The Soop. the avatar can be anyone, anywhere, and in this case, it was Sophie! Hins have a general omnipotence, as well as a slight ability to divine the future and the ability to manifest and create anything they wish, although this has to be honed throughout a Hins life. Sophie, though, started off with some pretty powerful clairvoyance. and one day, when she was about 3.

She saw a boy lost in the woods, in her minds eye. he was scared and frightened, bruised and scratched. Sophie wanted to see why anyone would be so hurt as that, to make sure he was ok! like any good little girl would. so she snuck out the house, unbeknownst to her father. and she went to look for this lost and hurt boy, and found him, exactly where she'd thought he'd be. the kid didnt approach her at first. for someone her own age, Sophie had never met someone so afraid of other people before. she shared whatever she could find, sticks, bugs, sweets, even the coolest of rocks, trying to gain his trust. and eventually, the boy spoke to her! his name was Lukas, Lukas Selevure, and although Sophie couldn't have known it at the time. she was about to rescue this boy from a truly horrible fate.

Lukas Mother, Lucinda Selevure, was something of a mad scientist. a mad, mad scientist, if you will. Her Son, her only son, nothing more than an experiment for her. because Lukas was born with powers of his own. control over the cold, over ice, and snows. Lucinda had had powers as such before too…only to have lost them, through divine intervention due to her developing a whole "it is my divine right to rule the world" complex. and she planned to use her son, to give her back her powers. So Lukas, knowing he was in danger, but not knowing how, Ran. he ran fast and far, as far away from Lucinda as he could. and the universe, or fate, or luck, or maybe just a little girl looking to help, brought Lukas to the safest place possible for him. a Family.

Sophie told her father, of course she did, about what Lukas was going through, and Felix Somalma (as he was at the time), did not hesitate for a second to take this boy in. legality be damned, lawsuits be damned, that kid was not safe around Selevure. Lukas was renamed, to Samuel Somalma (a name he himself picked out, to match with Sophie! the S gang for life), and his appearance was altered so drastically he looked nothing like his mother anymore. but everything like his Sister and Father. of course, Sam didnt escape entirely unscathed. Lucinda still did monumental damage to him. but he wouldnt ever be hurt by Selevure again, not with his twin sister by his side.

The twins grew up happy as clams, at least until. the stepdad came along. Felix was a kind man, a good, softhearted, friendly man. but that made it very easy for the wrong man to swoop in, and take advantage of that. that man was named Ethan Andrikos, and from the second he darkened their door, Sophie and Sam knew, he was trouble. they stuck by each other, as they watched Felix slowly become less and less himself under the eye of their shitty vampire stepdad, fought back however they could. and eventually, the two even put together a court case, a whole court case, just two kids! all so they could save their dad. and the divorce was long, and messy. and unfortunately for the twins, required them both to be sent to separate houses, to prevent any risk to them in case of Ethan trying…something.

Neither of the Somalma twins wanted to be apart, of course, they'd spent their whole lives together! they would barely manage apart. and they struggled, absolutely, for a while. but it just made coming home all the sweeter, to a house without a shitty stepdad, with their old dad back, their old rooms and everything. nothing could keep their family apart, and certainly nothing could keep them apart either. They were always in the same classes at school, and really, each others only friends, because well. with powers as bizarre as theirs, and lives as odd too. no one really wanted to get too entrenched into the lives of the Somalmas.

they're both 22 now, as the current story goes, Sam having left school and gone to a music university, Sophie having dropped out to. become a supervillain? yeah i mean considering her powers, it would work. and they both still live with their dad, i mean, they're a hispanic family and all, they cant really imagine going anywhere else! and their dad, something of a serial adopter, has, well. adopted a fair few more siblings. but for Sophie and Sam, its always them against the world. a pair of nerds whose spent all their lives as best friends, picking each other up when they're down, teasing and playfighting as siblings do but never not being their for each other. it's the SS siblings for life! and sure, Felix remarried. and they're a little skeptical of the new dad too. but whatever they go through, they go through it together!!

Misc facts:

both of them have autism. their whole family has autism, actually. its like their thing /lhj/pos

Sam has had a lifelong hyperfixation on Sonic the Hedgehog that Sophie actually started off for him, getting Sonic 2 for them both to play CO-OP on!

Sophie meanwhile hyperfixates on Star Wars. they were 5 years old when Revenge of the Sith came out and ever since them, Sam goes to see every single star was movie with his sister, even the ones he knows she'll hate, just so she has good company for them

Because of Sams ice powers, and general apperance, he gets called, lovingly, "the abominable snow-sam" by his sister. he is not fond of this /lh

Sophie has many nicknames for her brother actually, including Snow Queen, Elsa, Vanilla Ice, Frappe boy, Snowcone Mcgee, it goes on

Sam has one nickname for Sophie. Dumbass. it gets the point across very well, he thinks

up until they were about 12, Sophie was the tallest sibling by a whole 2 inches, being 5'4 to sams 5'2, until sam SHOT up to a whopping 6'2, and Sophie stayed exactly where she was. no she is NOT salty about this

Sam is very much Mentally Unwell trademark as a result of everything he went through as a child, including some stuff i left out for brevity (laugh /lhj), so as a result he has extremely bad social and generalised anxiety, as well as Depression, which he's unmedicated for.

this results in Sophie being one of the only people who Sam comes out of his shell for, one of the only people he'll even bother talking to.

Sophie as well, despite being the opposite and extremely extroverted, still relies on Sam in conversations as something of a comedic foil, she bounces off him perfectly and finds shes her most authentic self with her brother to help and play support.

they both grew up in London with their dad, but in the cannon recently moved to a place named Yeah City, Ohio (which is an RP i do with my friends!) where there family has grown exponentially.

aside from their dad, Felix, their joint favourite family members are their adopted younger sibling, Mavis, who they both try very hard to be the cool older sibling too, and their uncle Vincent Lance, who they both try and impress because hes like. a cool immortal autistic musician man and they both think thats cool as shit

once had a birthday party together where Sam slept through the whole thing and Sophie staged a kidnapping of the employees for banning her from the ball pit (she kept putting mouse traps in the pit)

Sam, despite his anxiety, is ironically pretty fearless, while Sophie is very easily frightened despite putting a brave idiot facade. the best example of this is Sophie at age 5 being fucking terrified of Monsters Inc, while Sam was happily watching pg-13s by 6.

Sam, because of his ice powers, sometimes just. sits in the freezer, in the house. Sophie will sit on top of the freezer and talk to him through the lid, its peak bonding time for them

Sophie loves wearing hats, always has done, and some of her favourites, like a character hat of Yoda Star Wars, were brought for her by Sam!

Sam regularly dyes his hair because of his tragic backstory, and every time he does it he swaps the sides the black and brown dye are on to fuck with friends and family

At one point Sophie got possessed by an evil void ghost thats not relevant here, but a side effect of that is that she's stuck with dark black streaks in her hair that'll never come out. to make her feel better about it, Sam calls it "Emo Solidarity" due to his own. Emo-ness/lh/pos/aff

my tablet refuses to let me draw anymore its simply not cooperating >:( so you can have these sketches of pre-grad asta. the cringe high schooler era. ok i rant endlessly below now

the name changes between 1st -> 2nd is simply for convenience!! others found it hard to pronounce ‘thien’ correctly so it shortened to ‘en’ to make it easier ^_^

if first year asta looks considerably more skrinkly thats because he is!! the essence is she wants to be an idol soo bad but bc reimei’s student population is literally All Guys and its a bad idea to have a fem-presenting idol intermingled in there, it goes undercover in guy uni 👍 which theyr totally cool with whatever gets them to idoldom fastest. hence the girlier vibe and the messy short haircut

they actually have to retake 1st year due to personal circumstances (get Child of Divorce’d). only reason theyre allowed to come back is bc they kinda Are pretty girlslay when it comes to idolisms + since they were first allowed into reimei on a scholarship, theyr allowed to return but only if they shill a hefty tuition (father’s child support payments all go to tuition <3) + another condition wherein theyll deliberate with reimei’s school board directly with the express intent of suppressing nonspecial student rebellion but we’ll talk abt this later

1st year pt 2 and 2nd year they get their shit together becos she fixates on The Guy Ever of course becaus im incapable of being normal and not putting entatsu everywhere i go but theyr dynamic is more teacher/disciple than romantic or anything . originally en is the one teaching tatsumi the ropes of reimei, but it becomes Very Clear that tatsumi needs not help learning to be a good student hes already ballin on his own (however he needs plenty help learning to Be Normal) and the dynamic flops with en now becoming tatsumis follower / admirer by the time second year rolls around and the roots of the revolution start to be planted ^_^ they turn a blind eye to tatsumis activities and pretend to not be affiliated with him in anyway to avoid either orf them getting in trouble

oh fuck in getting tired anyway 3rd year en grows out her hair bevcos she misses tatsumi and its fruitu.. also has to deal with doublecrossing the school board as revenge while also assisting ibaba with his sort-of revolution. ibara had a revolution right? or at least he like changed reimei for the better i think that happened . anywhow i sp sleeepy goodii no tht

Coming right for my heart with two of my all-time favorite boys, aren't we? Bet.

While Sam does work extremely well with reckless messes, he would also pair nicely with a comfort character. Guy might be chaotic and extra, but he stays out of trouble and offers tons of love and affection. He would bring the perfect amount of excitement and chaos to Sam's life without tipping over into dangerous habits. He would make sure Sam always knows exactly how valid and genuinely good he is. There would never be a day when Guy doesn't come home after work, flop onto Sam, and tell him how much he missed him. It would be such a direct contrast to the relationship Sam had with Alexis, and I think that would be good for him.

We don't have a huge amount of information on Guy just yet, but we do know some general truths. He's an entity of chaos and mischief, always ready with memes and teasing. He works hard at his job, which tends to be thankless. He's extremely loyal and loving. He has major golden retriever energy. He loves to cuddle and be close to his partner.

Going down the line, Sam vibes so well with chaotic partners. For fifteen years, his life has been confined to patrolling WonderWorld and going to clan meetings. He didn't get out much, as far as we know. He needs some excitement in his life. He's also forty, so Guy would have so much fun memeing on him when he doesn't get the references. Sam still doesn't know what a skrinkly little skrungle is, but he knows that's his name in Guy's phone.

Sam is an endless source of validation and care. He's always there to be Guy's mother hen when he works too hard or takes on too much. He would be more than happy to massage away the backaches from having to drive all day, or play with his hair to relieve the headaches that food service work always seems to come along with. He would also be ready to use magic to ease the aches and pains of the day.

Sam is similarly loyal. He tends to be extremely honest and kind. He told Alexis as soon as she started catching feelings that he wanted to end things between them, which must have been difficult, but it was an important step for him to take. He doesn't get involved with people unless he knows it's what he wants, and he doesn't let go of what he wants easily. He would make sure Guy is always taken care of and loved, no matter what.

I don't care what anyone says, Sam deserves a puppy partner. Whether that be Darlin', with their German Shepherd vibes, or Guy, who is the poster child for golden retriever boyfriends everywhere, he deserves that kind of love. Every time Sam comes home from a clan meeting or patrol, I can see Guy jumping up off the couch and running over, helping him take his shoes off and asking about his day. He'd be happy to follow Sam around the house and talk about anything and everything, not letting the large house go quiet. He would make sure Sam never feels alone.

Sam and Guy are both huge on cuddling. This is a canon fact. It is also a fact that Guy is usually the one being held. I can't think of many things Guy would like more in this scenario than being held, safe and secure, in the strong arms of his vampire boyfriend. And on the same token, Sam would be so content napping with Guy laying on top of him, his head on his chest, feeling the warmth and weight of the one he loves most on him. It would be incredibly grounding and comforting.

Finally, Guy would find Sam being a vampire so insanely hot and you cannot tell me otherwise. Of course, the Twilight jokes would be insufferable, but Sam loves his idiot too much to actually be mad. Besides, kissing him is a great way to shut him up when he starts going on about dating "irl jasper hale" or whatever. It would take Sam a hot minute to realize that Guy is serious when he says he loves the idea of Sam feeding on him. It's just such a different perspective than what he's encountered in the empowered world, but it's refreshing.

All in all, 10/10. I love them together.

8. how loose is their use of the phrase I love you?

not at all. Revan.... very rarely says it, to be honest - with Alek this actually turns into a point of contention, because she thinks it's obvious across the bond and so often leaves him feeling underappreciated because she doesn't talk about her emotions. she isn't good at being vulnerable, especially when she knows other people will see that - she's afraid of people using it as a weapon against her. she gets better as she works through her trauma but the words are never something she says casually, and very rarely spoken publicly.

15. what's the most obvious difference between their behavior at home, at work, at school, with friends, and when they're alone?

Revan's entire thing is the difference between her without the mask and her with the mask. even when she reaches a point where she can go around without the mask (after the memory wipe, and in swtor era), there's a marked difference between how she acts when she's wearing it and when she isn't. this is lessened around the people she's closest to, but it's still Very Much A Thing. when she's wearing the mask - the persona that often becomes the Revanchist in her head - she's much more serious and focused and her morals.... are pretty much nonexistent. her sense of humor ends up very dry if it emerges at all and she acts.... basically in every way she can to not look like a person. her body language is very minimized and she consciously projects this great sweeping Leader persona, it's really fascinating. she hates showing any vulnerability or uncertainty in that persona and often is... honestly what you could call slightly dissociative? at all times? there's this disconnect between her and her emotions and everything and it's.... really fascinating. and really fucked up. also The Revanchist is referred to with they/them pronouns in her head which is real interesting to me, they're like. the persona that is the manifestation of her Legend. idk man she's a skrinkly little weirdo.

41. what phrases, pronunciations, or mannerisms did they pick up from someone/somewhere else?

okay this is an interesting one and one i'm not sure i can really easily answer? i hadn't thought about it before. i will say that in the four years between the end of kotor and her disappearing into the unknown regions for the events of the revan novel, she went from only knowing a few scattered Mando'a words to speaking the language fluently, courtesy of living with Canderous on Dxun and helping him rebuild. does that count?

56. if they're scared, who do they want comfort from? does this answer change depending on the type of fear?

mostly Revan... just wants Alek. he's the person she's most comfortable being vulnerable around, the person she's always been closest to, and even in swtor era when he's just a ghost who can't pass on because of their Force bond, he's the first one she goes to when she needs something. eventually Senya sort of becomes that first person, especially after the whole Revanchist Breakdown Debacle that gets them properly talking about their relationship status, but it can be very messy sometimes.
