Nito and Takaomis room
Nito: Hey, I'm sorry if you're not feeling well, but your yume mask was in the trash can. You should manage it properly.
Takaomi: Ah....? What did you pick up? Oh, I threw it away.

Takaomi: You should know. I'm never logging into that damn system again.

[scene: dorm corridor]
// Midnight on a certain day.
With pitch black bags under my eyes, I barge over to the neighbours who haven’t learned to decrease their volume even once since the start of the school year. //
Kasuka: Openupopenupopenup… Noisynoisynoisy… Perishperishperish…
Senri: Uuu… Shibutani-senpai?! I thought some ghost had appeared…
Senri: Ho-how may I help you?
Kasuka: I have come to seal your noisy mouth which keeps disturbing my sleep. Have a seat.
Senri: Wa--- I’m sorry! ! But I really have to practice right now… I must have raised my volume too high just because cold-hearted-maru isn’t around…
Minato: Oh, Kasuka and Senri. What’s up~?
Kasuka: ( ! Why is he only awake at times like this, how troublesome… )
Senri: Ah, listen to this Ushiwaka-senpai! Actually…

Minato: You’re casted as a chair?
Senri: A nobleman who lived to the extremes of luxury finds himself murdered out of resentment, but when he regains consciousness, for some reason he has become a chair! Day after day, the commoners and other worthless people sit on him. And out of hatred, he puts a curse of unhappiness on all who sits on him. In the end, no one approaches him anymore, and he becomes isolated.
Senri: Over a long time, he starts to think. Of how he dreamed of being a “knight”. Of how he had unknowingly forgotten his roots. Now, no one even dares to approach him, what a lonely existence.
Kasuka: What work to hurt others even in death. I see a path where in his inability to bear the loneliness of the afterlife, he becomes an evil spirit.
Minato: Does it have a happy end?
Senri: Yes! Just before he was about to lose all hope, a brave knight sits on the chair, lifting the curse! That’s the summary of this play “13 Chairs”.
Minato: It is happy~ ♪ (2)
Kasuka: ( …Absurd. )
Senri: I’m playing the important role of the chair. It’s difficult to express the inner emotions of the greedy protagonist without a line of dialogue.
Senri: Regurgitating lines is actually my speciality so this is kind of the opposite… I’ve been told that I must understand “self-effacement” in order to act as inorganic objects but…
Kasuka: Self-effacement… Someone like you who is chatty and opinionated cannot hope to attain such a thing.

In the end I even bought a suspicious bracelet from a strange shop that was supposed to be able to “release the self”! …That was super expensive but doesn’t seem to have worked at all though.

Mamoru: The candidates for the role of student council president and the ones who have been nominated to give speeches today, special class second-years Shigure Hakka-kun and Minato Ushiwaka-kun!
Mamoru: And finally, this year we have a shimmering new hope! From the special class, first-year Touji Harimiya-kun!
Senri: Eh!? Harii is running?!
Takaomi: He’s insane.
Touji: There are no regulations against a first-year running for office, after all!
Yuma: …Good luck, Harimiya.
Touji: Thank you, my dear friend! Please cast your noble vote for Touji Harimiya!
Mamoru: Now then, let the student council general election begin! Starting us off with his speech is our candidate Touji Harimiya-kun!
