people fr are like "do you expect Loki to always be in armour? 🤨" and I'm here to answer that Yes! Yes I do! In fight situations, at the very least! Take a look at Thor! Take a look at Loki in Thor 1! Or either of them in Avengers 1! Or even - dare I say - Thor 2! Loki's got LOTS of outfits, switching pieces between them and across scenes, even. He goes through the most outfit changes, and they were all cool and detailed and suited to the situations! Even when not armour! So Yes! I either expect him to reflect such bombardment of clothing in the series as well (within bounds of what is reasonable) or armour when he's fighting. Or at the very least for him to be wearing some green.

#self #fantasy costume #If I had the money for a custom tailored fantasy-ish victorian-ish suit instead of piecing together random thrift store items with like walm #rt halloween costume type jackets and stuff.. #unstoppable..... #I would actually lean more straight up historical with my wardrobe it's just that everything I own basically is thrifted aside from a very #small portion of things (like usually socks for example I get from ebay. wigs from ebay. things that it's hard to find in thrift stores. etc #) and I rarely ever find stuff like that at the bins. Your closest bet is like. hopeing that the week you come in just so happens to also be #a week that a church costume department recently donated a bunch of old stuff. but I just haven't really had much luck finding like fancy ve #sts and suit coats and cloaks or like tunics and etc. etc. #Styles like mori kei or cult party kei are pretty accessible and easy for places like the bins (where youre usually digging through piles of #curtains and fabric scraps and doilies anyway). but finding like.. a straight up tudor england costume or something is . VERY rare #Sometimes you do find halloween costumes. Or like. stuff that's clearly like cheap 'Goth' stuff from shein or aliexpress that someone has do #nated and they can be a LITTLE okay in terms of usable for costumes. But you rarely find actual good quality stuff. obviously because like #real very good quality historical costumes are expensive and most people aren't just like 'yeah dump it off to goodwill' lol #In an ideal world though I would have fancy top hats and neck ruffles and stuff .. know this ghhjbhj #Lack of that will not stop me from taking picturesin basically the same outfit 6000 times though. #i mean i am REALLY good at cashiering that seems like a bizarre brag but it’s just the truth #im incredibly fast and efficient and bag everything in a specific system etc . i guess my autism is my superpower. But also why i’m terrible #with customer service …it makes me so sick and upset and viscerally uncomfortable i want to crawl out of my skin my entire shift to be hones #it makes me feel like a wind up toy and majority of the time when people talk to me it feels as if there’s a glass wall in between us . i could be doing better 😞 my knee injury is having a flare up and it’s causing me some problems so i need to make a doctors appointment soon to try and look into how i can fix it (probably surgery, which scares me.) and i’m having some terrible skin problems but i’m mostly doing okay otherwise..

as for the whole *swirls arms in a vaguely referential way* i guess i’m not surprised but i’m disappointed and angry and so upset for her and every new thing i read makes me angrier but i’m glad to see people who were close to him speak up about it so he’s not getting away with it.

#was just thinking about when i first started my exchange year & there were basically 2 eateries on campus #i mean one of them was a giant food court with a bunch of options like burgers; sandwiches; salad etc #the other one was just a basic diner. i really really liked the diner because the food arrived fast; it was super good #and it was really close to where i lived. so every time i went in i got a hot dog and fries. and i went there for dinner probably every day #it took maybe about 3 days for the girl at the counter to start recognising me; knowing i was going to get the same thing each time; #and screaming ‘hot dog and fries????!?!!’ at me every single time i entered the building. which; if you’re like me and grew up with a weigh #problem and body image issues; fucking HORRIFYING. like why are you announcing to the whole diner what i’m going to be eating #i kept trying to show up when she wasn’t on shift or ordering something different and then i eventually just stopped going there #i kept going to the cafeteria because i could fix my own plate and the lady who weighed your plate (you were charged based on that) #never commented. but the cafeteria food was SO bad #i ended up going to the burger bar to just get the premade chicken tender baskets but those started to gross me out after a while #so i ordered a custom burger this one time and the guy was looking at me kind of funny for my order (i wanted a grilled chicken burger #with no cheese and just lettuce; onion and mayo on it) and one time when i went in i saw/heard him notice me and immediately start telling #his coworker about how ‘weird’ my order was. like i’m sorry i’m bri’ish and therefore don’t have the american propensity for shoving #a ridiculous and unnecessary amount of ingredients into any given sandwich??? sorry that i hate tomatoes and the idea of chicken and cheese #together horrifies me. i guess. #sooooo i started going to the sandwich bar and they were lovely. i ordered pretty much the same thing every day and the girl acted like it #was brand new to her every day. she also spelled my name wrong in a new and different way every day. and always added a smiley face #one time she put so much tuna mayo in my sandwich that i had to go get a spoon to eat it with. i hope she’s well #i just… i don’t know where i was going with this rant. i just hate being teased about what i eat bro #like whenever i like a food it’s ALL i want to eat for the next three months and i know that’s boring and not healthy but i don’t care!!! #why do YOU care. i don’t care and it’s my fucking body #you can let me eat my hot dog and fries in peace without announcing it to the whole diner. that is something you canndo #personal #*i feel like someone is going to accuse me of criticising food service workers. hiiiiii i’ve been one :)

I love when I love my original characters so much I make AUs for them...

Inspired by too many fics about "the detective goes undercover in the mob/mafia".... I wanted to make an AU for "a mafia guy (Brent in this case) going undercover at the police station (where he works in canon)". The AU then spawned Brent's cousins, Caspian (taller guy) and Atticus (the bundle of sunshine).

In the canon-verse, Right and Luca's plots are coexistent which means that in canon, when Luca visits a restaurant he thinks is sketchy and probably a cover for shady dealings, that's canon for Right's plot, too. So in the AU, I have it owned by Brent's aunt while her kids Caspian and Atticus basically run it. There are other employees but it's mostly them in charge. So that's why Atticus is pestering Brent to bring a cop at the bottom.
