Because BOTH of my parents are abusive shitheads, Alfred would be a MASSIVE improvement over them, and yet I turned out WAAAAY better than Bruce. Almost like there's not a 1-1 correlation between the goodness of the parent and the emotional health of the child or something. What made you ship it? spanish jackie coming onto jim by cornering them against a support beam only like two feet away from the corpse of her husband that jim killed is something you can't just watch happen and not ship it. and the fact that jackie knows exactly who jim is in this scene makes it a million times better

What are your favorite things about the ship? there's two excellent vibes for this ship, one that's just abt two badasses being messy and unhinged together, and one that's abt healing from all the revenge and killing that jackie says has aged her. but my favorite is combining both vibes. unhinged messy badasses healing from trauma together. and also sucking and fucking.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? ok this is not actually jim/jackie specific and it's not really an opinion but i've noticed that there's almost never any art/fic of jim bottoming? and on the one hand i get it but on the other hand spanish jackie 100% has a strap that matches her wooden prosthetic and she deserves to use it.

Calico Jack x Izzy: Ship It

What made you ship it? i only passively ship it tbh but the thought of ed's two terrible exes hooking up was funny to me. this is not a ship i'm deeply invested in by any means but it's funny to think abt these freaks interacting

What are your favorite things about the ship? they're both terrible people and they deserve each other.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? i know their vibes are different but a lot of the content for this ship has izzy hating jack's guts and sometimes vice versa but tbh i don't think izzy would hate jack that much. he'd be jealous of jack's relationship w ed obviously but jack is still a "real pirate" and doesn't compromise ed's image as blackbeard so i think izzy can tolerate him. i've actually talked abt this before lol
