summary: nicola grazia 'cola' alessandro just moved to britain after tilly wolff's newly opened publishing company hired her as an editor and writer, so what's a better way to get to know your new home than to tour the city with lando norris? OR everyone thinks that the mclaren driver is seeing someone... and he proved to everyone that he is- he just wouldn't show her face.

content warning: based on characters from the rush series (see masterlist), fluff, ion even know if lando's english, use of explicit language, "private but not secret" kind of relationship, colabebe is a private account, daniel ricciardo being a good brother-in-law?? events have taken place post-wedding series.

obligatory disclaimer to all the "its just mc eggs its not that deep" people that this is about characters. we are allowed to post character analysis, even ones that arent positive, about fictional characters no matter what medium theyre from. this is 10000% about the characters, not the admins and there are moments i may not know about since i cant watch every pov but heres my thoughts on the sunny/leo "beef"

which it feels wrong, at this point, to even call it beef when its mostly one sided on leo's part and the adults are failing both sunny and leo

does leo have the right to be wary about the new eggs? 100%, absolutely

does that excuse her recent treatment of sunny? no

is leo to blame for her behavior? well, no, she's a child

do i think q!foolish and q!tubbo are good fathers? yes

did they both drop the ball in regards to this situation and should have handled it better? yes, but that doesnt mean its not too late now

again, i dont fault leo for being distrustful and cautious of the new eggs, its more than reasonable given what shes gone through. im glad she's warmed up to pepito and i think it's a good choice on foolish's part to not force her to interact with anyone she doesnt like while still encouraging her to try. that being said, i think he should say something to leo about how she has recently been treating sunny because it is quickly getting to the point where it is bullying, not "beef"

to be fair, maybe he hasnt seen [in character/roleplay] the extent to which she has treated sunny, and obviously none of the parents are aware of the baby fight club, but even then, someone should say something to leo if they see behavior similar to how leo treated sunny after the fight [although i believe foolish and roier are two of the only people she will actually listen to /neu] with that being said, i dont think foolish takes it very seriously and at the end day has a rather "well what can you do" type of mentality about it.

we know that leo is stubborn and can be a little hard headed, which is one of the reasons why i personally love her, but its been toeing the line in regards to sunny and i feel as though she crossed it during the baby fight club. sunny has been trying to take leo's feelings into consideration [among other eggs, such as tallulah, who excuse it as distrust of the new eggs despite being warm/neutral to both em and pepito while being harsher to sunny].

the fact that the fight ended and sunny was trying to leave when leo blocked the exit and continued to hit sunny shows that her feelings towards sunny are more than just apprehension. even ramon, leo's triplet, felt the need to step to in and separate them out of concern for sunny's well being.

i can also see the nuance of leo's behavior: its the first time where she has disliked someone and been forced to be in close vicinity/interact with them, and no one has taught her that this sort of behavior isnt ok so how is she supposed to know better?

its not an excuse by any means, but it doesnt make it any less bullying than it is. this is where the adults are failing not just sunny [by being bystanders] but theyre failing leo, too.

and sure, disagreements and fights between the eggs is interesting.. when it comes from both parties but when you have one egg--one child--who doesnt want to be around another egg child in consideration of their feelings while the other egg child vandalizes their things and hits them to the point of almost being downed--that's not a disagreement. thats bullying.

does leo have to like sunny? no

do i think that they have more in common and similar feelings of loneliness that they both dont realize, which could make way for a friendship? yes

would i mind if leo never warms up to sunny? no

its realistic. sometimes kids just.. dont get along and thats ok, its good to teach children that we arent going to get along with everyone or even like them [and not everyone is going to like us and we shouldnt try to force them to], but its also important to teach children that not liking somebody doesnt make it okay to treat them poorly or bully them.

in fact, this would be a really good situation in which both leo and sunny can learn the aforementioned, especially since their fathers are good friends that enjoy one another's company so i dont see them stopping hangouts anytime soon so leo and sunny will hopefully learn to, at the very least, be civil with one another. i hope this is the direction the story goes because a bully arc is one of the last things i personally want to watch

i understand its hard, especially when their first languages are not one that they share, but thats what the qsmp is all about, isnt it? coming together in spite of language barriers

im hoping the sunny/leo situation takes a turn for the better, even if it takes time to get to a point where they are mostly indifferent to one another w/o excessive antagonizing

with all that said, i will always have faith in the admins to give us their best, even if the outcome isnt what we wanted or expected

so here

FIRST off red text is for things that im just showing you for clarity

it's not complicated, this is just long so i can get all the explaining out of my brain- feel free to ignore red text

anyway; go here and download this

it should look like this

what you're going to do depends on the kind of shimeji you downloaded

if its designed specifically for this version (ie: mine, which, hello to the future bc they arent out yet as of writing this)

then you SHOULD just have a file tht looks like this

[folder] a!dave

and on the inside looks like this

[folder] conf [14 pngs of post-scratch dave; though there will/should be more than this in the folder (i have blacked out some unused anims)]

if the folder called conf isn't inside this folder [a!dave], then read the next section about other shimeji

[xml] actions [xml] behaviors

the inside of the conf folder should look like this

what you're gonna do is get the character folder [a!dave]

and drag/move it into the IMG folder of shimeji-ee

it should look kind of like this inside the [img] folder

[folder] a!dave [folder] shimeji [folder] unused [png] icon

it should just work as is, but if it isn't, undo this back to the first step/the way things were when you downloaded it, and follow the steps below (if the shimeji you want isn't showing up and only the white oval guy is, just hang tight/scroll to the bottom.)

if the shimeji is old/different/for the browser version/whatever

now, for older shimeji/other shimeji, i'll use davechick as an example. the shimeji is 11-ish years old, and only is in japanese. this shimeji is from askdavechick (an old hs blog thas not active anymore)

so he is downloaded as a RAR file

this isn't a problem, go get 7zip if you dont already have a way of extracting .rar files.

right click on it duh

just do that [dropdown menu] [open] [7-zip] > [open archive] [open archive] [extract files...] [extract here] [extract to "rar-file name\"]

any of the extract options will do

extract

go into that new folder

[folder] Shimeji_davechick

this looks a little different

[folder] conf [folder] img [folder] lib [application] shimeji [jar file] shimeji [text doc] ライセンス

its fine. just ignore literally everything except for the first two folders, [conf] and [img]

inside the img folder it should look like this

(the conf is missing, which is not what we want. if theres a conf in there, then cool. just install it like the previous section.)

go back here

youre gonna take the conf folder as is- no fucking with it or taking anything out, and drag it into the [img] folder right below it

now the img folder inside looks like this

now you have to rename the img folder

you can name it whatever i guess but its probably easier if you name it the character

when you have that, take the newly named [davesprite] folder, copy it or cut it or drag it

then you go back to shimeji-ee like the first section

and paste it into [img]

then it should work

if the shimeji you want isnt showing up and only the lil oval guy is

no problem, go down to your taskbar.

right click on [shimeji-ee]

cool dropdown menu- this is all pretty useful and i recommend checking out the settings and allowed behaviours if your computer sucks/ you dont want them to yeet your windows

hi ^_^ so someone recently left some tags on a post i made about modding funger sprites wondering how i did it and i want to explain how because it is actually incredibly incredibly easy and literally anyone could do it. to start im gonna say im going to explain like every process in detail just so its very clear EXACTLY what youre supposed to do for people that arent computer savvy so it might look daunting but in reality i cant express enough how simple it really is. anyway. its pretty long but INCREDIBLY SIMPLE AND EASY TO DO (and understand i hope)

to start youre going to want to find the local files for termina, which if you bought the game off itch.io they should be immediately available to you, however if you bought it off steam youre going to want to find them using steam by finding them in the games settings in your library:

Here ^ (using another game as an example because i dont actually have termina on steam)

you should be here, and from here you want to go into the WWW folder ->

which will take you here, you can just as easily replace any of the movie cutscenes in the game or sound effects like the sprites but im not going to focus on that. for now by this point you want to go into the IMG folder

which looks like this, and its in here, in the CHARACTERS folder where all of the character overworld sprites are stored.

in the files, each character is listed as:

daan = doctor abella = mechanic o'saa = yellow_mage olivia = botanist karin = journalist pav = lieutenant marcoh = thug levi = mercenary marina = occultist samarie = apprentice tanaka = salaryman henryk = chef caligura = mobster august = hunter black kalev = black_kalev ghoul = soldier ghoul is just listed as ghoul, villager ghoul is listed as villager

with this you now decide which character you want to replace with your own, I chose Karin so I'm now going through every file named JOURNALIST until i find the spritesheet im looking for (that being her overworld walking sprite, which looks like this)

every characters overworld spritesheet should look like THIS. no smaller. however other characters (like samarie or august) will have less detailed sheets than playable characters because they dont need to walk diagonally or get their arms chopped off like the players do.

these are the files im looking for, NOW i need to actually LOOK at them (you can not typically just VIEW RPGMVP files so we are going to use a website to do so. that website being

Petschkos RPG-Maker MV & MZ-File Decrypter

which you will need to do all of this. its going to allow you to view files and also turn your own PNGs into RPGMV files to replace the ones here with your own.

it looks like this. as you can see i put the %JOURNALIST.RPGMVP file from the game files in here. this is how you will be able to look at and download the spritesheets (like karins i posted above) at their native resolution (whihc you need) its also how you know which file youre replacing. to do this put a file in (i put in the %journalist file, click RESTORE ORIGINAL IMAGES, the green button in the corner, and then your file will appear in the FILE-LIST on the right, once it does click VIEW and you should be able to see the spritesheet and download it.

and upon clicking view ive found that this file is exactly the one i was looking for ^_^ (the spritesheets youre looking for should all look like this, as in they should include the characters diagonal movement, lost limbs and crawling animations. that means youve found the FULL sprite sheet which affects your IN GAME PLAYABLE CHARACTER as well as how they behave as their NPC/Party member sprites. ive found that most/all of these specific spritesheets are just the characters name (not %doctor1 or $doctor1 JUST %doctor) and they usually start with a % at the beginning, so if youre wanting to change olivia's sprites you want to find %BOTANIST or if you're changing daan you want to find %DOCTOR. ETC.)

NOW that youve got the file and images youre going to edit. we move on to our art or image editing program of choice and get to work.

i use clip studio paint, but you can use any program at all as long as you keep the image resolution just as it is. (you CAN NOT make the canvas LARGER or SMALLER. you can not UPSCALE the sprites or change the resolution. you have to edit/draw over anything THE WAY IT IS) here i have the spritesheet ive been editing, that being karins %journalist file (with added marcoh, i put that there) who im replacing with my funger oc enright. unfortunately theres no secret hack for drawing your sprites easily, it took me weeks to have what i have because i had to draw everything myself. its like animation. i cant teach you to draw good but i can teach you to replace files on ur computer. either way as you can see the sprites i made are in the exact same positions that all of karin's were, youre basically wanting to use the originals as a foundation or "trace over them" so theyre EXACTLY where they should be. if theyre in the wrong spots they'll look a little wonky. i hope i explained this concept well enough. its a sprite sheet if you know how those work then itll work out. (ALSO MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THE PICTURE WITH A TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND.)

NOW THAT YOU HAVE YOUR OWN PERSONALIZED SPRITES we're going to save it as a PNG. and name it the same thing as the file youre replacing so its easier. im replacing %journalist.RPGMVP so i name my image %journalist.png

now we're gonna go back to that website we were at and move to En and De-Encrypt

it looks like this. NOW. first what youre going to do is click the browse button in the green circle, then go back to the CHARACTERS FOLDER in F&H2:T. grab your %JOURNALIST.RPGMV file (or whichever file youre replacing) and SELECT that file. then click DETECT, and you'll get a pop up that you got the code

NOW WITH YOUR CODE, you are going to use this to turn your PNG that you made INTO THE .RPGMVP file that youre replacing, except it'll have the sprites you made and not the other ones.

now put your PNG that you made in the 2nd box, which you can see i did, its also named %journalist, and then click (RE)-ENCRYPT MV

it will appear on the side, and now you can save/download your rpgmvp file that you made yaaaaay! youre in the final stretch.

its very important that the file is named exactly the same as the one you're replacing, im replacing %journalist so the file i make is named the same

NOW. GO BACK TO THE CHARACTERS FOLDER IN F&H2:T WHERE OUR ORIGINAL %JOURNALIST FILE IS LOCATED. you should not have moved it or anything it should still be in there but if you do it doesnt matter. what youre going to do is take *YOUR* file that YOU JUST MADE (the %journalist.rpgmvp file that you just made on that website) and youre going to put it in the folder that you found the original file, the file we're replacing is in the CHARACTERS folder so we're putting it in there. your computer will ask you if you want to replace the original file if its still in there, you can do this. now YOUR NEW FILE is in the game

boot up fear and hunger termina, start a new game as the character you replaced, walk around and see your guy :] there are alot of sprites you'd have to replace to have a fully immersive experience with your replacement character, special anims like sleeping, specific skills, sitting in the train etc. but you can replace ANY spritesheet using the exact method i described. have fun. ill also say im fairly confident you can mod the first game in the same way described as this one but im not sure because i dont have it, its up to you to rummage around the files and find out

if you encountered any problems of any kind along the way feel free to ask me about it, but hopefully this should all be described clearly enough that anyone can get into it and do what they want easily. dont be afraid to fuck with the game files they cant hurt you

M a n,, i used to love bnha so much - it's kinda sad to see how like. It's gotten This bad(?) Rushed(?) Over-the-top(?)

Like, the main thing thats SO disappointing is the quirks,,, each one had established traits or properties, and Yeah - they can grow or evolve a bit, bnha was SUPPOSED to be about being in a hero school and about learning and improving. If one of 1-a had trained and improved their quirk , or discovered a new way to wield it - great! 10/10 tha's growth baby

Anyways, apart from the previous mentioned example of a quirk 'changing' -The idea of each quirk having their set in stone limits and function is a real good way to show off characters!!!! In a battle, or even in rescue situations, we could see each member of 1-a use their quirks differently, how some are more suited for different tasks, how some limits have to be worked around etc

In battles especially -it would be satisfying to see a character use their skills and quirk Cleverly. Using the surroundings around them to their advantage, trying to use their quirk in new ways whilst still battling their limits,,

BUT. Instead i feel like all battle wins or 'improvements' arent. Earned??? The quirk will just 'power up' or 'evolve', (cough cough bakugou), or theres just the kinda. 'Im gonna yell harder and be more determined, so im STRONGER than u now >:] ' kinda vibe,,?

Im not a big bakugou fan lol, but even i would think it would be better to see him fight, if his battles revolved around thr quirk we know he has and how he wields it and how his strategy goes. Instead of. OH, suddenly he can do this now without any prior hinting to it or without it even MAKING SENSE for his quirk to be capable of,,,,,

I dont know if im phrasing this right tbh,,, its just something thats such a let down for the series :[

I think if the academia part of my hero ACADEMIA was longer, it'd pay off better with seeing these new 'abilities' being learnt or discovered naturally in the story,, even the more. Out there quirk evolutions would be a bit easier to accept then lol

Now the series kinda has no stakes?? Because you cant get a feel for a battle, if randomly a new power is unlocked that completely changes the tides of it with no warning, or if randomly one character is just Stronger than the other and nothing else,, theres no suspense, if a character is at a disadvantage - we dont read that and get excited for how the character will creatively get around this set-back. They'll just 'get strong' i guess,,

I am SO SORRY this is so long . I just think that the quirks allowed for so much creative possibilities in bnha, and its so sad to see it not be used :[[

(Im mainly upset about characters like yaoyorozu, because HELLO!???? Her quirk.??? Could be used in so many creative ways in a fight??????? Why is she just in the bg not doing anything whilst characters with less possabilities are in the foreground pulling magic evolutions outta no-where--)

All of this. MHA as a series had immense potential. There were moments in it where I enjoyed what I was seeing. Sadly MHA crashed and burned so quickly.

i think it is very interesting how people pick and choose which characters to sympathize with on the basis of being reduced to plot devices or being in general captives to their narratives. and obviously you dont have to like or give a shit about every character to exist especially not in a work so simultaniously dense and flat as homestuck, but i have both an intense interest in sociology and too much experience with how this fandom treats people for liking the "wrong" fictional children not to be eternally preoccupied with what makes these distinctions. when the character is liked, they are allowed the grace of being kind of poorly written; its the fault of the author, or theres some significant nudging about of their story beats to recontextualize them into something more nuanced and whole. by contrast, if the character is generally agreed upon to be uncharismatic, their personality flaws are inflated and the flatness of their writing is either erased in preference of integrating those authorial decisions into the characters personality (regardless of how glaringly contradictory) or more concerningly becomes a means of shutting down criticism on the basis nobody should care about the unserious/unwritten ones anyways.

interestingly, with gamzee in particular, ive found that people tend to do one or the other moreso than both; dont get me wrong, theres still a plethora of moralizing over peoples sympathy for This particular fictional child going on, obviously, thats basically the reason i am trapped here. but because gamzee is accepted as not a character but a plot device or an obstacle, a lot of people arent invested enough in her potential personhood to insist that the (antithetical) ways that she behaves are proof of her being "iredeemable". but they still have a negative emotional response to people having investment in her character. it isnt relevant whether or not shes a bad person, or whether she is being puppeteered, because her functionality in the world she exists in is to propagate the story and stand in opposition to its protagonists.

however as interesting as i think that is and for all i do think it says about an individual persons approach to homestucks presentation, i also cant ignore that that dichotomy only really started to Exist once it became less in vogue to harrass people for their character allegiences. in the same way, it seems like we as a fandom cannot escape the trap of being really, really weird about tavros every couple of years. skirting around some of the more blatantly ridiculous stuff because i do actually value my sanity a little bit, he is definitely one of the characters i first noticed people using critique as a pretense for passing judgement on people who liked or cared about him. again basically coinciding wiyh when it stopped being generally socially acceptable to just openly laugh about what a pathetic loser the disabled kid being humorously abused onscreen was. when ableism started to become a topic people cared about and disabled people and fans who related to tavros began to provide more in depth critique of the writing choices, and of fans, namely fans who made very light of his disability or who had a general refusal to talk about vriska's(and others but you know why its about her here) ableism, there was a massive uptick in people feeling the need to talk unprompted about how boring and shitty tavros is, questioning how anybody could like him when hes so badly written, etc. all in ways that did not try very hard to hide the fact that the concern about character writing was disingenuous and only really served the purpose of shutting down critiques of ableism in the fandom and comic. obviously this all seems to stem from investment in canonicity but i do notice it informs even the choices of people who approach their engagement in a "my city now" type of way. because the presentation of these characters impacts the wider perception, which impacts the ways people will deconstruct them. and this is why the idea that "homestuck doesnt have a canon" is a lie being sold to you for the sake of shutting down investigations od authorial motivation. was not intended to be epilogue snark but thatd as good a way to end this nonsense as anything else.

kuusuke operates as a mad scientist since humans aren't allowed into the monster world (afaik humans arent even seen outside of jackson, who is half monster). idk what he makes tho. maybe he pulls a doctor finklestein and makes bone animals to roam the monster world?

kuusuke is the one who got his family into the monster world btw. i mean he definitely found it p quickly after kusuo started morphing and speaking in tongues and shit

kuusuke would LOVE the monster world, at least at first. he might get bored really quickly, but he'd love being able to be more of a crazy bastard than he already is

kuusuke functions as a head cultist for kusuo, but instead of strengthening him with sacrifices and praying for protection, he weakens him with sacrifices (the limiters) and prays for himself to be smote (kusuo to play games with him) (kusuo ignores him a lot)

Saiki Kurumi / Saiki Kuniharu - Cult Worshipper (Human)

they were 100% human before being dragged into the monster world due to their sons

they basically live the same as they do in canon tbh i dont think a lot would change in the monster world

during the new years chapter maybe instead of saying kusuo has powers, they say something about his eldritchness or how glad they are to "worship" such a chill god. god i wanna write this now.

Kaidou Shun - Vampire

okay so not ACTUALLY a vampire but i think it was nopsi who had like an au where kaidou was like a weaker version of a vampire?? GOD i dont remember the name (hampir?? i cant find it on wikipedia, did it start with an f????). for all intents and purposes, im just gonna consider him a weak vampire

i cant remember if he'd be made thru a human/vampire relationship but if he was then i think we should play into the manga hair colors of his siblings and say that whole toki and sora and his mother are all full vampires, he was half vampire (perhaps he's from the father's side of the family from a previous relationship, since his mother has purple hair in her manga cover i think??)

draculara has her red drinks and her spf and her cute little parasol so OF COURSE kaidou has all of those as well. i think it would be very funny if kaidou had his umbrella customized to look like a hidden anime weapon, but it wasn't waterproof so he has to use a different one when it rains

Nendou Riki - Zombie (Frankenstein's Monster type zombie)

okay so this might be controversial but imagine:

everyone's chatting like normal, nendous head falls off, everyone goes deathly silent, nendou puts it back on and goes back to talking, cue kaidou screeching

bc im rewriting this im not gonna go thru my thought process so my idea was that takeuchi was a mad scientist who created midori after himself bc he only had access to a mirror (neither realized they looked the same). takeuchi died and chouno, who was smitten with midori, remade takeuchi who midori named riki and chose to raise as her own. chouno intended it as a poetic final goodbye but cut to 16 years later and hes still not over her lol

nendou being undead could also play into his appreciation for life.... protecting the obviously smaller and weaker saiki and kaidou.... his care for his dad that he never met (altho he might have two dads in this au?).... THE HAMSTER SCENE. NENDOU :((((

Teruhashi Kokomi - Tomie

im SORRY for bringing up junji ito but come ON

for those who dont know tomie, she's basically So Beautiful that men are supernaturally attracted to her until she drives them mad with her beauty. they cut her up and scatter her remains and they turn into more tomies

however. teruhashi isnt just a pretty girl. she's The Perfect Pretty Girl. so we can just ignore all the bloodshed and murder and deathmatches :D

i debated making her a siren but that just doesn't fit her for some reason. she doesn't have to try.

in op's post they made her aphrodite reincarnated but i don't think that there are gods walking amonst the student disembody unfortunately

the intersection bishounen is a vengeful spirit that roams the streets and gives fortunes to young girls that drive them to suicide, after which they come back as ghosts and beg for his affection.

makoto is more of a teenage/ya heartthrob than a vengeful spirit tho so we can get rid of all the cool stuff like fortune telling and driving to suicide

the intersection bishounen also didnt want to fuck his cousin so points to him

Hairo Kineshi - Fire Elemental

Mera Chisato - Shouku-jinki

okay i need to preface this with something that is very important to me about this, the Japanese creature the jikininki/shoku-jinki originated in the story of musou the preist. as far as ive been able to see, there is a second story featured on wikipedia about a pregnant woman that is legitimately someone's fucking oc insert. im not making this up, it appeared one goddamn day and i dont want to make an acc just to get rid of it but i dont want to have my ip address just There and i dont know how to like draw attention to it. so please know that the story of musou is the only legitimate source of the jikininki and the "jijinki" are just someones fucking oc inserts. i dont know why they did this, i dont know how it's still there bc its been YEARS how has no one removed it??

jikininki (or, iirc the more modern version is shoku-jinki) are demons that were greedy or impious in life and were cursed to wander the earth forever starving and thirsty. at night, they eat dead bodies.

sooo remember how mera acted when she got her money back for a day.

her death was the cause of their bankruptcy, maybe they put all their money towards avenging her?

i think that mera would come from a half human, half monster family so she could already be in the monster world, but i dont have to worry about what powers she'd have due to being a monster.

her mother would be a demon and her father a human who doesn't quite know how to navigate the monster would, so he still has to go away to earn money. also imagine four kids following mera around, three have devil horns and taiks and one is just some guy. (idk if she has 4 siblings but you get the idea)

so yeah, mera is immortal, unable to feel satisfied by any amount of food or drink, working herself to the bone to provide for her siblings. the mera lore is Strong w this one.

u could totally also go for some real body horror with her if u wanted

ill go into the difference between ghosts and souls in toritsuka's part since you cant take away toritsukas thing but you cant just remove ghosts from mh

i initially thought of making her a cherub/cupid but girlie would be getting No One Together. also there's only one cupid in mh and uhhhh there would be no hope if that was chiyo. yk what chiyo loves tho? gossip. u know what spectra loves? gossip.

i think the ghosts in mh all have a chain motif iirc? ik spectra does but sirena von boo also does (the siren/ghost hybrid) and i dont know any other ghosts off the top of my head

anyways yumehara is totally just a regular people ghost. maybe she cries blood or somethin fun like that? maybe have a bit where she keeps getting told off for having makeup and its her eyes leaking or its her having anti blood leaking drops or wipes

Saiko Metori - Mummy

i was gonna make him a vampire but HELLO??? CLEO IS RIGHT THERE????

okay so there's a difference between ghosts and souls in this version. ghosts are a form of undead that are sort of just humans that can float and go thru walls and stuff. souls are the base forms of dead people that remain chained to existence with no knowledge of who they were. normal people can see ghosts, but not souls. toritsuka can see both

toritsuka was also raised in a temple in this au, pretty standard stuff. nothing interesting there.

We stay is silence for a couple of minutes, Mason still tense next to me until he speaks again.

"There are many things you still don't know about me, love" he says with a smirk, grabbing my hand and kissing my knuckles now that we have stopped at a red light. ⚔👑Hello, hello!! I recently got an idea something that Id love to be able to flesh out into a full on plot as well as world building alongside that with anyone that'd be interested in doing so! I'm 20+ so please also be 20+ if you interact with this post!

So! What I had in mind is MxM and involves the dynamic of a bounty hunter x a thief or something similiar along those lines, with my character being the bounty hunter. I'd love to have a sort of slow burn enemies to lovers thing going on with these two but it is not a requirement as depending on what exactly we come up with and decide to do might not allow for it to work, but if possible I would heavily prefer enemies to lovers for them.

Now, onto the idea itself! It is pretty simple at the moment, but here it is! Your character manages to steal something powerful, magical, precious from a just as powerful king (I'd love to be able to go further into what it is your character stole as well as his motives alongside you though if you already have ideas in mind for either or both, do not hesitate to let me know, I am all ears!) who, as a result, puts up an incredibly high bounty on your character to get the item back. Either this king hires my character specifically to go after yours or my character is a part of a sort of underground 'town' of bounty hunters that happen to hear of the new bounty put up for your character, of seemingly a life times worth of gold/jewels/whatever for who ever gets ahold of him and brings him back to the king both for the item he stole as well as to punish your oc for stealing it, promptly causing every one to disperse, all of the bounty hunters racing against each otherto get ahold of your oc and claim the reward from the king. I have a slight preference for this world bring a sort of being fantasy-ish leaning as my guy dabbles in magic and potions in general as well as to use for combat and would love to discuss the rules of this potential fantasy world though I dont mind swapping that out for something else if youd prefer something more realistic leaning if youd prefer! On the topic of my oc, he does have some lore and backstory already that I will share with you in DMs when we get down to talking about characters, though we do not have to include it here as it might not flow well with what ever we decide for our plot.

I know this is a little bit bare bones right now but I am hoping to as i said work out all the finer details of it all and build the world these two reside in alongside you.

As I mentioned, I am thinking of a sort of enemies to lovers kind of thing mixed with a whole lot of angsts, miscommunications, and conflicting feelings given the fact that these two are on opposing sides and arent supposed to be catching feelings let alone be together. As I also mentioned, I am really wanting this to be slow burn! i want these two at each others throats at the start, maybe something happens between them that changes this or maybe it is just a slow transition into something else, I am absolutely down to discuss how we go about this and how we get these two there!

All of that being said, none of this is set in stone and I'd be happy to adjust any part of my idea or hear out any ideas you may want to add or change so absolutely dont feel shy, let me know! I want to create all of this together so we can make something the both of us will have fun with and enjoy. I feel theres plenty of different ways to go about all of this and i think it'd be interesting to explore them! Maybe our ocs have a bit of a 'history' together with a sort of cat and mouse kind of dynamic going on, my oc constantly trying to catch yours while yours is a mix of trying to take mine out and/or getting away but both always manage to slip tight past each others grasps yet their paths always seem to end up crossing again soonee or later, maybe over time they both end up developing a love for the thrill and the adrenaline that comes from the chase, both wondering when theyll see each other next, maybe even looking forward to the next time their paths cross again. Maybe the king isn't a good person and originally stole the item for his own personal gain, pretending the item was his and your oc is stealing it back to return it to its rightful owner, along the way getting my oc to realize the king isn't what he seems and eventually gets my oc to join his side. Maybe your oc is the one stealing the item for his own personal gain and your oc simply tries to corrupt mine and get him to join your oc that way. Maybe they somehow get stuck together and are forced into a situation where they have to work togrther to survive and along the way see that the other isn't so bad. Those are just a few ideas that come to mind for what we could do with our guys but im absolutely up for hearing any ideas you may have as well or even mixing ideas together too!! Id also absolutely love to add in the classic "i didnt know where else to go" trope somewhere into our plot, however this is also not a requirement by any means, i just think itd be fun to do if our plot allows for it!

Im not actively looking for NSFW but I have absolutely no problem with it as long as we discuss everything beforehand! Do keep in mind though that I prefer plot and world building over smut so if it is something we decide to include, Id prefer build up and slow burn. Just let me know what you're feeling and we can discuss everything in DMs.

I tend to be very literate, I can very easily fill up 2 or more discord messages in response due to the fact that I very much enjoy writing out atmosphere and what my characters thoughts/feelings are in any given moment and while I slightly do prefer that you be the same or atleast similiar, this is is not a requirement or a deal breaker if you aren't! I will always do my best to mirror you. All I really ask for is no one liners please! I lose interest very quickly with one liners.

For the most part I dont mind what you use to describe your characters, all I ask is that you be okay with descriptions as on my end that is what i will be using for my character (atleast for now, I plan on drawing him eventually when I've got the time) and that what ever you use isn't something ai generated as it makes me uncomfortable, sorry!

My response times are fairly laid back, more relaxed, especially if our replies are on the longer end of things. That being said, it should be pretty consistent and I will do my best to let you know of any times where I will be unavailable or busy!

GDOOSE YEAH UEHA GROOSS MY FIRNEND GOROSOOSS !!!! takes the microphone and eats it. i love groose oh my god !!!! character of all time. hes set up at a one note bully character to act as the antagonist for the tutorial levels when everything is, like, low stakes and part of the player getting used to things, and once the plot kicks in you kind of Forget about it, yk? he was just a bully and he served his purpose in the narrative bc now we arent dealing with stakes as low as "my loftwing is gone! and the prom wing ceremony is tomorrowww!!!" we're dealing with centuries long prophecy and zelda being gone and the fate of the world blah blah blah.

and then the best scene in the series happens and its like no! nope! sorry bud but we r making this guy plot relevant!!!!! and then they made it the best thing theyve ever done.

groose starts out being actively antagonistic towards link and weirdly objectifying of zelda and its like okay. ok. you have seen this character a billion times you know what this is and where this is going. zelda falls from skyloft and groose is so devastated he stays in his room up until The Scene happens, and when you talk to him a few things are abundanty clear; he blames link for what happened, he desperately misses zelda (but believes shes alive), and he thinks he can do... something. hes not sure what, but If Anyone Is Going To Save Zelda, Its Going To Be Groose. bc hes just some kid! he doesnt know about the fuckinf. implications of hylia and demise and destiny n all that all he knows is the little shit he hates won a ceremony which allowed him to go flying with zelda, and now zeldas gone and maybe it wouldnt have happened if HE had won instead-- if HED been there for her instead of link. and then hes the only character to be like Hey. Why is link gone all the time. Whats up with the massive pillars of light in the cloud barrier and why does link keep going into them. so he figures out link is up to something and hes like fuck that i want in!!!! and he follows. and he rightfully freaks the fuck out abt the surface lmao that scene specifically is excellent.

and sksw links interactions with him are so... interesting? like hes obviously sort of annoyed with him at times (or even angry when it comes to groose stealing his bird :[ ) but every scene i see him in hes either just like :o :/ :I or hes, like, genuinely amused or happy. and hes overwhelmingly understanding towards him or seems to just be like "uhh. ok" when groose is trying to instigate something. like he just doesnt care and when he does he seems to genuinely want to be nice to groose. and groose spends the first bits of the game thinking link is like. everything wrong with the world lmao. which is funny bc his hatred towards link is primarily fueled by 1. jealously about zelda (which. ill get to how he treats zelda.) and 2. this like? general anger about how well links life is going despite the fact he doesnt, like... try in life, at that things are going well for him regardless. and link just doesnt rlly care and still finds reason to be kind to him at times (which is so funny when u pay attention to sksw links character. that guy will lie and say some random concerned persons friend died for the comedy of it but will offer understanding to his fuckinf high school bully. what is wrong with him im obsessed!!!). and then hes told that, for one, zelda is part of something WAAAAY bigger than him, and that link is literally sacrificing everything to save her as was ordained centuries before he was born and hes like. omg. fuck that. this guy?? are u KIDDING. and it takes him watching link fight the imprisoned for him to be like ok. i think ive been an asshole. youve got this shit link im sorry.

so he stays behind and he helps the old lady in the temple take care of herself and keeps her company, and he starts tinkering with machines and he finds a purpose down there. and that purpose isnt "find zelda to spite link' its "help link find zelda." and that weird objectifying crush he has on zelda transforms into a genuine care for her safety more than anything else, to the point i cant even rlly decipher if he still thinks he loves her or if he knows whats best for her, and for him, and for link in the end and hes just content seeing her happy-- whatever it is that brings that. in ghirahims final battle, he catches zelda as shes dying and yells at link to finish this for them all, and that he'll make sure zeldas safe, and you can TELL its bc he wants her to be okay and wants link to be okay and not bc hes like. oh yeah smooching time or whatever HE GROWS !!!!! HE MATURES SO MUCH IN THIS STORY AND BECOMES A MUCH KINDER MORE GENUINE PERSON AND ITS SO ?????!!!! also he gets a cannon called the groosenator and its genuinely vital to fighting the imprisoned later on iirc. HE HAS A ROLE TO PLAY IN THIS SHIT JUST LIKE HE WANTED! JUST LIKE HE CAME DOWN HERE FOR!!!!!! ITS JUST UNDER MUCH MORE NOBLE CIRCUMSTANCES THAN HE ORIGINALLY INTENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ik this is contentious theory with a lot of holes but i like the idea that groose got wrapped up in demise's curse, but less for like. trying to consolidate this games stupid lore and more for the thematic implications of it. bc thats, like... essentially admitting he played such a massive part in helping link and zelda that even fucking DEMISE had to admit he did and had to make sure he paid for seeing through with his death. groose, the character who was told to sit back and let the hero deal with it bc hes not a part of hylias plan, who said "no, im doing *something* here, even if its only to help," had a GOD admit he was crucial to his death as much as the chosen hero and the fucking goddess reborn.

i love groose. holy shit.

#Also i think him and link should hold hands sometimes. but beyond that oh my god hes such a compelling character despite being goofy as shit #AND HE STAYS GOOFY!!!!! that never goes away!!!! Link is always some kid chasing zelda ans zelda is always someone dealing with herself as a cog in a machin #much greater than she is as a person and ganondorf.#... ganondorf is always fueled by an overwhelming hatred of someone he sees as inferior (when theyre not) and a general idea of Get Zelda.#idk. its fun to think about the implications of that sort of thing ig :)

a) none of them have ever engaged with this text in any meaningful way, ESPECIALLY not the first games' stories, because surprise! characters in es! did Canonically use slurs! and back then Nobody Liked It. we didnt joke about it. most people i know completely stopped paying attention to the characters who did until they apologized. (tho ofc its more a problem w the writing than the characters, but still. we were young. we had the spirit.)

b) people really like using rinne as a punching bag because they dont read the stories and know literally nothing about him except funny drunk drugs gamble man "fuckboy" who harasses niki and the other bees and its. infuriating.

i dont understand how anyone can claim to like a media without ever properly engaging with it, i dont understand how people have fun misunderstanding characters so drastically, and i also think joking about slurs has gotten wayyy too normalized where people feel comfortable saying these things about these characters they allegedly like. and characters like rinne (with a constructed mask of obnoxiousness and such) are the perfect target for these people. which SUCKS. all of it sucks.

yeah um ! was definitely a ride. i wouldnt recommend it to everyone but at least we have hindsight and things like slurs and general offensive terms/behaviors can be warned for, so that much is nice. i remember being really upset about a few of these, and then getting back into enstars earlier this year and reading a few of the more current stories + !! stories i was happy to see that the writing has developed CONSIDERABLY in terms of this especially after beasts. something ive noticed a lot of newer fans do (referencing my previous post irt the feeling morally superior) is that if you like a specific character for whatever reason youre actually a horrible person because that character said something awful once. of course youre allowed to dislike characters for whatever reason but dont tell other people they should perish because they like them (as if liking them means you implicitly agree with said views, more often than not One line in a miriad of stories that you might not even have read). but like you said, characters making ignorant comments (an unfortunate occurrence, although rare, it still happens) is not a reflection of 2d pixels on a screen but rather a team of writers..... idk. its a complicated situation. i see both sides and i think people are justified in liking or disliking but this is a game about idol boys (and girl) got dam

ALSO its probably because enstars is long, there's a lot to read and although tl's arent necessarily hard to come by you actively have to seek them out. again i understand how this might be a nuisance but instead of sitting down and listening to summaries or analysis ive noticed that a lot of short form consumption content lends itself to people just. posting the most reactive interpretations, and people playing a game of telephone with said information until a lot of the fandom has come to accept this misinformation as true. Below is just a bunch of random rambles about ATSV, about the characters or other stuff

[HEAVY SPOILERS BELOW]

Gwen

Okay, so, ive seen people talking about Gwen betraying Miles but its like- she genuinely thought she had no other choice, and she still tried to defend him, she literally wanted to see him and went outside of Miguel's orders! The only reason why she was annoyed or frustrated at Miles following her was because she's already fucked up, and she knows that if things dont go perfectly Miguel's going to send her home- just like what had happened, and mind you- she was under the impression that her father was going to arrest or even kill her if she came back to her universe. She had no other choice but to follow Miguel's orders, AND the only reason she wanted a watch in the first place was to get to Miles, she considers him her only friend after her Peter died. She is literally a traumatized teenager who was scared to go home because she had a literal gun to her head last time she was there, by her own father! She doesnt want to go home, so she would do anything to not be sent home.

The watches

Okay, this is a really weird thing, but its like- Miguel is so about keeping to the canon, but the watches probably break the canon more than help it. Yeah, sure, you need help to set the fate of the multiverse right or something, but some people might actively just up and dip from their universes, leaving them without a Spider-Man, and who's to say what would happen if the watch breaks? Theyre fucking stuck, cause there's no way to contact Miguel or any other members of the society unless the local Spider-Man also has a watch, which, obviously, not all of them do! And, in gwen's case, she up and left from her dimension for probably months on end, what the hell are they gonna do without her if one of the villains the police cant tackle shows up? Its gonna be a nightmare; a power vacuum, essentially. Plus, the watch DID break the canon, when Miguel used it to take his dead counterpart's place. Sure, it wasnt the watch's fault, but the fact that it existed allowed it to happen, therefore breaking the canon. The watches leave universes without a Spider-Person, which, even for a couple of moments, could probably be catastrophic if a canon event happens to happen during the time that they arent present in their universe.

The canon in general

Okay, i love the idea of a Canon mentioned in the actual story, but i feel like they're more flexible then Miguel thinks they are. If anything, just being in another universe they arent supposed to be in shouldnt happen, but the collider allowed it, in all things considered, that was a canon event, because not only did it cause Miles to become Spider-Man and change the canon, because if that actually broke the canon, earth 1610 would no longer be a thing. Its a give in, but something i feel like i need to say. So, how did Miles being Spider-Man not break the canon? It adapted. The canon is more flexible than Miguel gives it credit for, but if its flexible, why did the universe with Gabi crumble? Because that is a large enough change that the canon actually broke. Miguel was supposed to be dead. Actually, i came up with a little au idea with a friend of mine for Gabi's world, just cause i was rambling about ATSV with them and i got a little silly [ill probably provide the images after this, but ANYWAYS] Miguel was supposed to be dead, but he wasnt. They cant just kill a Miguel of another universe off, he's under another canon, so, it broke. We've seen canon adapting, and canon breaking.

Pavitr's world

So, now it brings up the question, what's happening with Pavitr's world? Cause we see Mumbattan crumbling, but i think it might be The Spot, considering that its way of disappearing is way different from what we see when Miguel broke the canon. Mumbattan is sinking into a giant black hole, but when Miguel broke the canon, the world essentially disintegrated, it all breaking down into polygons and glitching out. This is not what's happening with Mumbattan, and you could argue that it's a mix, or that its the early stages of a canon break, but i think a giant sinkhole would have been shown, if not mentioned, in Miguel's backstory.

The canon didnt break, it adapted. Inspector Singh's death was probably just prolonged.

Miguel

He's definitely projecting onto Miles with breaking the canon; because Miles has canon events, like it or not, he IS Spider-Man, even if he originally wasnt supposed to be. He gets pissy at miles because he was wasnt supposed to be bitten, but what the hell was he supposed to do, just, not be bit? He's such an interesting character and so well written, and cause im writing this at like 7 am [its been like an hour and a half since i woke up] my brains too empty to actually go too much into detail, but HE'S SO FUCKING INTERESTING!!

The Spot

I see so many people boil him down to haha bagel guy, and i mean, yeah, its funny, but honestly, even if Perfect Peter didnt die and stopped the collider, The Spot would probably still exist. Miles was just prolonging the inevitable. 1610 was always supposed to have The Spot, which is also why i feel like the canon is stronger than people think.

Also, he is kinda justified in being pissed at Miles, because he is right: he helped Miles, and, in return, even if he didnt realize it, even if it was a butterfly effect, he caused him to exist, he caused him to get ostracized, he made him turn to crime. And, judging by how ATSV is a year after the events of ITSV he probably had tried to continue his life as normal, as he even says "its my first time robbing someone," i mean, its not like he had to outright say it, i mean, its a little obvious, but he had to deal with trying to just live in New York of all places, rent and shit's expensive up there (i think, im southern as all hell)

[Edit: i was wrong, he has an apartment, i just didnt realize that was where he went while i was watching ATSV to get more spots]

I wouldnt be suprised if when he turned to crime he didnt have anywhere to live, no job will hire him cause of his spots and proportions, which are way different than a normal humans, he probably had to relearn how to do shit, no wonder he's so clumsy! And, since he worked at alchemax, he probably was seeking out jobs that needed precision, possibly engineering considering his work with the collider. And, y'know, working public service, he was probably turned down because of his looks. He'd probably scare people away (im sorry, i love him, but just look at him and imagine that image hyperrealistic, im sorry, thats fucking terrifying)

I heard from book readers that Porsche and Vegas collude together, supposedly, to take down Korn and are doing so behind Kinn's back at the end of the KP books. Are they just dumping KP issues onto them this time around?

However, it does not make sense why Vegas would leave Pete dying, bleeding out on the floor & why he wouldn't tell Pete because Pete no longer works for the Main Family. Like, why? To protect him and Macau and Venice? Or Unless he believes that Pete'll go back to Kinn/Main Family?

Also, they're just destroying the PorschePete friendship, aren't they? And for why?

There's no way they're going to include that in a season 2 (if we get one). Vegas is too loyal to Pete and so is Porsche who decked Vegas twice in the face and threatened him for hurting Pete with an "we'll meet again" or something if he does it again.

This would also complicate the whole trust issues plot point between KP and would just decimate all the progress this entire season was about...

Like, there's no way. At this point, you just need to treat the book and the show as two separate pieces. An adaptation. Not to mention that Porsche's mother is dead in the books.

It would just absolutely ruin any characterization show!characters made on all fronts. Not possible.

The unfortunate part is that I heard the 2 novel writers are difficult to work with and tried to retain as much of the novel as possible (especially the non-con) in the previous production company and had problems with them... and they're entitled as fuck so I can imagine more drama springing up around them and now that the boys and the series got attention, they might feel even more entitled to getting their hands on the show material/script 😭 they might've allowed the changes to occur with BOC because the show literally got canceled and then revived no thanks to them (only to Mile with his $$$ and Pond). Now imagine how cocky they might've gotten now that its internationally successful...

see this is why i have ISSUES with why porsche was made the head of the minor family. THIS is why.

bc ultimately, 1 of 2 things will happen:

1) vegas is gonna comeback with a vengance and wanna take his rightful title back from porsche. which means bloodshed. but it'll also give me vegaspete going in together to war. which is what i want.

2) porsche is sooooo out of his depth and will want to take korn down that he will end up colluding with vegas behind kinn's back. or maybe not even behind. he just says to kinn that he needs vegas' help and bc he is the head of the minor family, he can seek vegas' assistance as and when he pleases and needs. and. how long is vegas is gonna put up with being used like that with no cred to his name before the urges kick in.

and i just. do not want vegaspete playing up to porsche. no thank you. the whole point of them being made redundant was so that they arent owned by anyone. they come back into the underground scene when THEY want. not bc porsche comes begging for help, no matter how tempting bringing korn down sounds. i do not want kp's issues being dumped onto vegaspete like that. vegaspete are a unit of their own, and i s2g if i have to see vegas and pete "pick a side" ...... fuck off with that bullshit. FUCK OFFFFFF. the whole POINT of vegaspete is that its them vs everyone else. not pete being on one side and vegas on the other side bc pete finds the major family's side to be ~morally right~. oh my god can we NOT. pete has NO allegiances to them anymoreeeeee!!! he's served his time there!!!!! FUCK KORN and taking his side bc of all that he's done for pete! FUCK THAT! pete has served them with his all and thats THAT. vegas and macau are HIS FAMILY. he HAS to stand with and by them. THATS where his loyalties are.

so. like. yeah. making porsche the head of the minor family was such a stupid stupid move. and i get that they did that so that there's always a way for vegas to come back into the mafia world again. i GET that. but it has to be done right. and that has to be vegas going "well, porsche isnt the head of the minor family bc im still fucking alive and breathing, bitch, arent i?" before he raises hell with pete to go and get whats his. it CANT be done ANY OTHER WAY. bc theyve been MADE powerless. and vegas has got to reach that point of self realisation where he in his sane mind weighs it up and makes that call, knowing its about him, and not his envy of kinn or kp's issues being dumped onto vegaspete. and then if he wants to seek revenge for his dad against korn after becoming the head of the minor family, THEN PLEASE DO SO! WITH PETE RIGHT BY HIS SIDE!

and the novel? that vegaspete chapter? porsche shooting pete???? lmao ok. vegas running away with porsche whilst pete bleeds out? FHDBFJSIFI wild lmaaaao. i'm not even .... gonna go into that bc ive already made my opinion on it known.

essentially an ideal s2 for vegaspete is for it to be about THEM. and what THEY want. not playing pawns in a bigger game of chess again. and if its VEGAS who wants to take korn down and wants his rightful title back as head of the minor family, then pete MUST support that decision. THATS THE WHOLE POINT.

As a HB/HH liker, I sincerly apologize on behalf of most of the fandom, As someone who actually likes those shows, i'll admit that they do have major flaws (Seeing Stars was meh for me), but seeing how fans, Especially big fans/artists (Like DaniDraws, Teathekook, Elcee, etc) react to any sort of criticism on twitter, is rather embarrasing to say the least.

Its not even just the big artists, its people from Spindlehorse too that act childishly about it. Getting suprised when anyone doesnt like an episode and pitching fits about criticism, acting immature in general.

Speaking about critique in such a condecending way that can only be concluded as "shaming" rather than just dissapointment. Not even admitting to the episode had flaws, but shaming those who critiqued it. Vivziepop being so petty, that she liked this specific post as a way to pretend as if the critiques were "wrong." (putting "ruins the show" in quotations, the way its being said, the emoji, etc.) These being the comments after. With the average "wait for another episode!" excuse when theres now been enough episodes to know most of the quality of how the show will be going forward. This was also written before S2 Episode two, another awful episode, which made this all the more hilarious to read from these people. Also saying "this is just temporary!" or that "im just watching them to prove to the haters that they're "wrong" and they gotta see what happens before they judge them!" as if the last episode didnt fuck up the lore of the past ones (spoiler alert: it did.) which would automatically effect other episodes by default. There also being mostly character decisions that would effect the rest of the show based on how the show is sugarcoating their actions. Not letting them actually develop as a result.

Hince the "ruined" statement the fandom has been saying.

Since- the timeline was ruined, the potiential in certain characters was ruined by the backpeddling and sugarcoating. We dont need to watch other episodes to know this as "ruined". They're that bad.

These episodes are allowed to be judged as themselves Callis (I know there are people from your staff reading this.) we dont need to know "everything" about the show and whats going to happen to stand our ground about how we feel about it. Were not doing this to "assume" about whats going to happen. The show is already bad, this has been proven to us hundreds of times already. No new episode is going to "fix" how much damage thats been done already unless they rewrite the story altogether. The merch, the sugarcoating, and all.

Callis saying that the critiques were "mean" just because they arent the ones who constantly kiss the feet of their favorite ocs and mention that-gasp??? Their "bad people" demon characters are- NOT GOOD PEOPLE?! and- GASP! Should legit be held accountable for their actions?! WOW! Its almost like this isnt the "secretly wholesome" adult cartoon that they wanted it to be but was executed as showing their characters as awful because- GASP! The writers also just happened to not be good people with questionable morals! /j

A group of bad people trying to dictate what's "moral" or not? Who would have guessed that this would eventually lead to the show becoming messed up as all fuck- not even in a good way, but showing messages from the writers terrible enough to make even a 90's series blush.

Its almost like all of this whining about people who critique in the fandom is just an attempt to gaslight people into seeing the critiques as "hot takes" and not anything of actual value. When people are upset for actual reasons. No "youre allowed to critique" gaslighting is going to make us hold back our words. Lmao!

Calis also mentioning a nonsensical critique about Lucifer's new design but not even mentioning what people were actually upset about. Its bias such as this that is just that- "Embarassing."

These people react to the critique like teenagers who just got a f on a test for the first time. Immature, making excuses, and just downright being very condesending, gaslighting, and non-addressing.
