I love how some of the Deadfire companions don't like each other. I love how things can get so tense between Xoti and Pallegina or Maia and Tekēhu that they boil over into a big fight with harsh words and hurt feelings. I love how Aloth doesn't get into a fight with Tekēhu but absolutely will bitch about him in an aside to the Watcher. I love how the endgame has some companions drawing lines in the sand and, depending on your choices, basically tears your party apart. I'm so invested in the Watcher's inner-party conflict, and the fact these arguments are triggered automatically after banter makes it feel like you're watching their nerves fray in real time. It's sooooo spicy, i love it so much

okay guys, can i get your recommendations for media to check out if you’re missing lockwood and co? can be because the vibes, the characters, the ships, the worldbuilding, anything about it gives you the same feel as l&co! i want to put together a little master post of things people can check out to fill the l&co hole in their lives while we keep fighting for s2 and it’s always fun to find new books/films/shows!

In a weird sort of inescapable, Schrodinger-y mental loop at the minute where I don't think that Hickey was worthy of forgiveness in the end, but I also don't think that Crozier was worthy of thinking he could deny Hickey forgiveness either...?

God I wish I could remember what Oda once said about mothers in One Piece... I can't remember if it was about Luffy's mother in particular or moms in general, but he essentially joked about how you'd have to be A Really Horrible Mother to allow your child to go off and become a pirate (dangerous business no loving mother would allow)
And just... My vague memory of that comment is living in my head right now, because truly, if Crocodile somehow is Luffy's mom, truly nothing would make him a worse mom than
Literally trying to murder his child and beating him to near death multiple times the first time they actually meet
Going so far to stop being a mom that he became a dad instead

Wait omg..... Jessica Cruz probably did rifle... my specialized sports knowledge coming in CLUTCH
Okay so I barely practiced and made it to regionals like once so im NOT the expert here but uh headcanoning that Jess did air rifle when she was a teen. Like idk if it would be as part of a team like with a high school (what I'm familiar with) vs like an individual thing vs like a travel/competitive team (it depends on the sitch in her area growing up) but she definitely went to some national matches (probably including JOs/JO quals like i think she was GOOD). I think she probably would have quit competitively following a bad shot at nationals (relatable) along with anxiety about competition (ALSO relatable) but still kept up with shooting casually for fun and relaxation and to hang out with friends etc.
She definitely would have shot smallbore competitively too but I never did that bc I was lazy so idk to much abt it competitively

decided to look at the meetup groups in the nearby Big City instead of the ones in the city i live in and it was... something.
cus there were considerably more like, queer groups which was cool!! but then like 80% of the things i read the name and went "oh hey that might be cool" the groups were named things like "women and girls group" "ladies only" "men group for men" "ladies ladies ladies" "group for women only no boys" "manly men things" and stuff and it's like.......... ok fun question are any of you normal about trans people.
