you watched mingyu walk in through the door of your shared apartment roughly taking off his shoes before kicking them over to the side.

it was 4 am and you stayed up waiting for your boyfriend to come home, he had been coming later than usual and crashing on the couch while you were asleep every other night which would explain why he was shocked to see you awake tonight.

“were you waiting for me?” mingyu asks taking off his quote and you nod with a hum in response

“why are you home so late mingyu..?” it was your turn to ask now standing up wrapping your blanket around you.

“i was out with the boys” he said non chalantly and you knew he was lying because seokmin had texted to ask if you knew what mingyu was up to recently.

“no you weren’t”

mingyu looked towards you only to shrug and was now walking into your shared room, you followed him to see him grabbing a pillow and duvet.

“why won’t you sleep in our bed?” you asked quietly feeling a bit offended at his recent actions.

he looked up at you and muttered a simple “no reason” he attempted to walk past you but you step in front of him in objection.

“no mingyu you can’t do this every night” you sighed before continuing “seokmin asked me what you’ve been up to recently so i know you weren’t with them...i don’t even know what my own boyfriend is doing anymore.”

“y/n we’ll talk in the morning go to bed”

“what’s the point if you won’t sleep in it with me? this is our bed mingyu i don’t know if you’ve realised but we’re standing in our apartment” you exclaim emphasising on the ‘our’ each time.

mingyu stayed silent and walked around you to make his way into the living room and of course you followed him in hope for some answers about his actions.

“can you please just talk to me i’m your girlfriend for gods sake i’m so tired of this you can’t keep ignoring me!”

mingyu froze at your words and turned around to you.

“fine let’s talk about this now.” he finally answers.

you flinched at his sudden tone taking you off guard completely.

“i’m falling out of love with you y/n, is that what you wanted to hear? i’m tired of coming home knowing this isn’t what i want anymore”

now it was your turn to freeze at his words slowly processing his confession of no longer being in love with you.

“wait- no im sorry i didn’t mean to be that harsh.”

you silently looked down tears threatening to spill and took a sharp breath before beginning to speak again.

“why? how can you just simply change your mind on everything so suddenly its been 2 years mingyu how do you even do that?” you raise your voice feeling all the anger rush up to your face and at this point you knew you were crying

he gives you no answer which allows you to ask one last question.

“is there someone else” you whisper loud enough for him to hear, deep inside you were hoping for him to say no its nothing like that but things don’t always go the way you expect do they?

mingyu looks at you somewhat apologetically and you understand now. you regret asking anything because knowing the answer to it all hurt more than anything.

there’s someone else and you were no longer the person he was in love with and wanted to come home to.

“i think you should tell the boys so they stop pestering me about your whereabouts from now on.” you spoke out coldly thanking your voice for not betraying you and breaking down. mingyu painfully closed his eyes knowing he messed up. he knew he messed up ages ago but hearing these words from you hit him like a brick.

you drop your blanket letting the cold embrace you and make your way into your room locking the door to pack up everything you needed to stay away from this house for a while. it didn’t take long before you had your carry on suitcase filled and changed into something warmer to leave with.

unlocking the door slowly you step out of the bed room with your suitcase notifying the entire apartment it was on the move, you held in all the tears not letting anymore out as you walk away from all the good memories and a comfortable night of sleep.

“y/n you can stay for the night it’s late now please” mingyu worriedly comes up to you but you stop far away from him causing him to stop with you. his voice was unbearable now.

“i don’t think i can be in this house now or ever again. please don’t contact me mingyu...” the way his name rolled off your tongue was bitter for you and him.

you carried on walking towards the door and removed your key from the keychain it was on and left it at the table by the door along with the one thing that was keeping you both tied to eachother.

the promise ring.

mingyu couldn’t find it in him to tell you to stop so he allowed you leave the house and potentially his life forever. you didn’t know where to go. going to your parents would cause too much commotion plus you’d never be able to hear the end of all the questions so your last resort was a hotel for the night.

you couldn’t help the tears from spilling out as you called for an uber and sat outside the apartment complex picking up all the pieces of your heart.

mingyu on the other hand was also conflicted, worried about you being alone so late at night. it was his fault for leaving you in the dark for so long before this day without thinking he slid on his shoes before running down the complex in hopes of catching you before you left.

you put your suitcase into your uber right when he got to the exit, reaching for the door you were prepared to walk away from the dreadful area but mingyu was there to stop you.

“y/n please it’s too late where will you go?” he held onto your arm gently.

you look at him with sadness capturing your eyes and dried tears on your face now and shook your arm out of his hold to step into the car giving the driver the go to drive you to the nearest hotel and all mingyu could do was watch, watch as his past love drove away forever with the only thought that things could’ve ended better than the way it did and it was all mingyus fault for.

and you in your uber the only thoughts that ran through your head was what went wrong and who’s fault was it refusing to let mingyu take all the blame maybe it was because of your kind nature or maybe it was because you loved him.

“Never sure, never know how far we could fall. But it's all an adventure.” Robin’s word got crushed even more when he saw Finn coke into the basement. But when he gets out and kills the grabber, he’s proud of Finn and knows he’ll do even greater things in life.

“Mountains and valleys, and all that will come in between. Desert and ocean.” The grabber ruined everything. And if he didn’t take either of them, they’d be endgame.

“You pulled me in and together we're lost in a dream. Always in motion.” Finn feels like he has an unpaid debt to Robin after he defends him from all his bullies. But the debt is paid when Finn kills the grabber.

“So I risk it all just to be with you. And I risk it all for this life we choose.” I 10000% believe that if Robin had said ‘I miss you too’, Finney would not have come out of that basement. He would’ve given up everything just to see Robin again.

“ Hand in my hand, And you promised to never let go.” Robin is glad that Finn got to escape. But there’s a small part of hun that wishes either A: Robin was the last victim and he himself would’ve survived. Or B: Finn would’ve stayed and surrendered. (But the again that’s why he did say ‘I miss you too’.)

“Well, it's all an adventure That comes with a breathtaking view.” Robin watching over Finn 24/7 and making sure he’s ok. (Even after the grabber dies.)

“Walking a tightrope.” Literally Just how they both risked everything in the end. AGAIN (x3) how Robin didn’t say he missed him, and Finney did fight, and avenged all the ghost boys :) Well, it's all an adventure
