The prettiest books I own. 🥲🥹 you guys - I got these back in oregon and I thought to myself “I can’t wait to have kids and read these books to them…” Then I had kids. And I’m not going to lie - I do not let them touch these books 🤣 I will HAPPILY read it to them but have you met toddlers? They wake up sticky. It’s amazing. So, I hide them in my room. Hopefully one day my hubs will build me a beautiful bookcase for these. Happy Friday! . What’s a book you would want a first edition of if you could get it? If you don’t care about first editions, what’s a book you would want a special edition of that you don’t currently have? . I have lots of special editions but if I could get my hands on a first edition (money being no object) I would want a first edition of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen just because it was a book that was special to my grandmother and she gave me her copy (not a first edition) - so it instantly became a special book for me too. What type of special edition books do you like? I love sprayed edges, but they have to be done well. My favorite colors are black and red sprayed edges, but when I saw the pink sprayed edges on the @fairyloot edition of The Beholder, I knew I had to get my hands on a copy somehow. . I literally stalked Facebook b/t/s groups for months for this. I wasn’t about to pay the $40+ asking price some people were selling theirs for when it just came out. 😆 I finally lucked out a few weeks ago. I claimed it like 1 minute after the post went up. LOOK HOW PRETTY!! 💕 I was worried it would be patchy which sometimes happens with lighter colors, but it’s perfect. . Now I just need to get my hands on the Fairyloot edition of Serpent & Dove.
