Disney just released the trailer for The Santa Clauses S2 and I'm sobbing. I can't believe that after 17 years we're getting the return of The Council of Legendary Figures (both Michael Dorn and Kevin Pollak are seen in the teaser reprising their roles as Sandman and Cupid, the new actor for Easter Bunny is also shown). I'm hoping for a Jack Frost return as well, but I think Martin Short might've been busy with OMitB. Looks like we're also getting a "Crazy Santa" played by Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet and his sidekick will be played by Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias. I'm also going to trust Disney to bring back David Krumholtz as Bernard (and possibly Spencer Breslin as Curtis and Liliana Mumy as Lucy but I'm not gonna hold my breath on those). All in all, the teaser for this season looks really good and I'm hoping for another great season with Scott and the Calvins.

The Santa Claus 2 (2002)

If you’ve followed my reviews, you know that I hate Tim Allen, but I will try to look at the movie as a whole.

In this sequel Scott Calvin/Santa Claus (Tim Allen) finds out that he will lose everything at the North Pole if he doesn’t find a Mrs. Claus. He also finds out that his son Charlie (Eric Lloyd) is on the naughty list. It’s 28 days til Christmas, but he can’t stay at the North Pole, deal with Charlie, AND find a wife. Bernard (David Krumholtz) offers to be in charge as #1 elf, but #2 elf Curtis (Spencer Breslin) has another idea. He makes a toy clone of Santa and lies to the other elves about it so that the clone can run the North Pole while Scott deals with things down south. As with any clone movie, this can only go poorly.

Down south, Scott is staying with his ex-wife Laura (Wendy Crewson), Charlie, Laura’s husband Neil (Judge Reinhold), and Laura and Neil’s daughter Lucy (Liliana Mumy). Laura and Neil are trying to help Scott find a wife, but when they all meet with the school to discuss Charlie, it doesn’t go well. Scott is not a fan of Principal Carol Newman (Elizabeth Mitchell) and her methods of punishment. Carol is not a fan of Scott for not being more active in Charlie’s life.

Eventually, Charlie gets in trouble again, and after a disastrous date with a wannabe Christmas Shania Twain friend of Laura’s, Scott takes point with Carol. She wants to suspend Charlie, but Scott suggests community service. Carol likes the idea and voluntells Scott that he will be the parent chaperone during the event. Meanwhile, up at the North Pole, the clone is on a crazy power trip because of course he is.

Honestly, I didn’t hate this as much as I normally would because Tim Allen was the villain and the real hero was poor dental hygiene, which felt accurate to me. I just don’t buy him as a nice man. Overall, I give this 3 stars.

i think it’d be worth testing out the players on the bench too aside from signing other players. i thought breslin had some good footwork in the few minutes she had and id be curious to see her full potential (as well as the other bench players) had she been given more minutes. plus i would love to see swaby on and give spencer the chance to play higher

Spencer could be better than Lussi as a forward, at least she can cross.

your post reminded me about how all tv and movie producers in the 2010s were like we need to make fat jokes get robert capron and tucker albrizzi I had to look their names up to send this but it's those red headed kids that were in everythingggg especially that second kid it was terrible disney chewed him up

OMG LITERALLY i dont remember the first one outside of rowley but i saw tucker albrizzi everywhereee and it was exactly the same as spencer breslin like they just went 'ok we need a fat stupid shitty kid lets get these children who are typecast for this role and this role only this wont have any effects on their psyche growing up surely'
