5.  Which WIP is first on your list to complete this year? Will you post a snippet?First WIP to finish is probably going to be Meet Me in the Courtyard, though I am committed in 2018 to finishing all my WIPs. There are four hanging out there, two of which could be completed in a chapter or two. 

I also wrote 3,000 words of a yet-unpublished and untitled Rumbelle Family Dinner on the Edge of Realms that I started in November and lost the thread on. *sighs* Here’s a snippet:

“Stop. Looking. At. Her.” Rumplestiltskin growled. Jefferson hadbeen ogling Belle the entire afternoon with mooning grey eyes. Jefferson tipped his trademark top hat and grinned. “I can’t helpit, Rumple. She’s glowing.” 

He inched his chair closer to Belle’s and gritted histeeth. He’d been in a fine mood earlier when everyone was arriving, evennavigating Granny’s few well-placed barbs without insulting her, but thenJefferson started flirting with his wife. He’d twirled Belle across the frontlawn and kissing her hand, his flattering lips traveling all the way up herarm. Belle had rolled her eyes and laughed at his antics, but Rumplestiltskinwasn’t amused. 

Ever since the long ago days when Belle had been his maid,Jefferson’s tongue and hands had wandered far beyond where they were wanted. When they sat down for dinner, he insisted on forgoing thetraditional host and hostess seats, placing David at the foot of the table sohe could be at Belle’s side and guard her from Jefferson’s obnoxious attentions. 

He tried to enjoy the dinner. Belle’s table was beautiful, setwith her mother’s favorite china, and the afternoon was warm and fine. Therewere advantages to living in a realm where the sun always shone and the weathernever threatened to spoil their plans. Hosting all these people inside theirmodest home would have been suffocating. 

“Careful, Hatter.” He toyed with his fork. “I’ve carved twoturkeys already today, and my knife is sharp enough to handle a third.” Jefferson buttered a roll and stuffed it in his mouth, then turnedto David. “Dave, back me up, would you?” 

David glanced at Snow, then rewarded Belle with a benign smile.“The eternal summer days definitely agrees with you, Belle.”  

“I’ll say,” Jefferson drawled. “Our Belle has turned into amiddle-aged hottie.” 

6. Which yet-to-be-started fic is first on your list?I have SO MANY things I want to write on my list, but once I finish the Macelle fic I’m working on, I think I’m going to start my Season 7 Rumbelle AU.8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is 2018 the year? I’m still working through All of Me, and that’s really about all I can handle in terms of major writing challenges right now.

10 questions - #1 and then oh yikes which one to pick? You know me I just want to say STAR FORCE!!! as I'm obsessed hehe but that came from F&F - so I guess F&F for questions #5 and #10

1. Of the fics you’ve written, which is your favorite and why?

It’s a tie between Friendships and Fandoms and Maison Rouge. F&F because of the huge fandom following that it brought with it and the fact it grew up into its own wonderful thing, with everyone chipping in to create this massive new world. 

I’ve always had a special place in my heart for MR, and I don’t even really know why. It’s one of my earliest OUAT fics and I don’t even know where the idea came from, I just really enjoy tales of found family and triumph over adversity, and the rumbelle relationship is one of my favourite I’ve written.

5. Did you make an outline for [title]? Did you stick to it?

Yes, I did make an outline for F&F, and I did mainly stick to it. There were some deviations towards the end, when I decided to cut out any threatening angst and speed them on their way to their happy ending. 

Star Force has never had an outline. @licieoic​ and I throw around vague ideas but ultimately we just end up pulling things out of a hat and writing whatever episodes we feel like writing.

10. What are some facts readers may not know about [title]?

I have a whole wealth of facts about all the other cast and crew aside from Belle and Gold stored up in my head and anyone is welcome to mine me for trivia whenever they like. I can’t list them all as this post will take three years to read. Likewise for Star Force. 

But here are a few that might tantalise your tastebuds.

F&F has two remixes (Belle and Gold never revealed their feelings and the forthcoming ‘Belle has to do full body make-up on Gold’) and two alternate futures (with kids, without kids).

Belle’s roommate Mulan ends up in a relationship with Gold’s Sense and Sensibility co-star Merida, who moved to Storybrooke from Scotland to pursue a role in After Ever After, Leo and Aurelius’s next project. 

I am actually writing the pilot of After Ever After. Who knows where that might take me?

1. Do you have a word-count goal for 2018?

Just answered that; I’ll copy it. I’d like to beat my total word count for 2017, which was just over 81K. Hitting the 100K mark would be awesome…. I’m annoyed with myself that I came so close to it last year, but fell just slightly short.

2. Will you participate in any fandom exchanges or fic challenges, etc?

I’d really like to. One of my writing goals for the year, in general, is to get more involved in fandom activities like fic exchanges and challenges. But of course, it will depend on what’s going on in my life at the time.

Gold shoes: How are the boots? (I think that was the last snippet I read). Is it feet or shoes? From the first fic I thought it was shoes but lately I'm thinking feet. Gold talk to me heh

A/N: *peeps out from my box of shame* Yes. Yes it was boots. 😥

Gold: Both, I suppose. But you know… i-it always comes back to just Belle. A good shoe in itself doesn’t excite me. It’s not until I see or at least think about them on her feet that they take on that… new meaning.

A good shoe can be like lingerie for the feet, in a way. It titillates, it draws the eye, it sparks the imagination. I like the different… Personalities different styles can have, and I– well, I’m very tactile, and I enjoy the texture of say, suede or patent. They capture my senses, and being able to enjoy those textures while I’m with Belle just enhances the experience for me.

Feet… Feet are very symbolic to me. Of many things, but if I were to distill it all into one idea, I’d say… Well, feet are… We stand on our feet. They bear the weight of our existence. We tread over the earth with our feet. As a society, we consider them dirty. You might touch something with your foot if you deem it unclean or unworthy in some way. Being able to submit to Belle in that way, by letting her use her feet on me is… Well it’s as incredibly rousing as it is humbling. And I think there’s also something about being able to look at this part of someone that’s usually considered filthy, or ‘gross’, and to worship it– To say that yes, even this part of you is beautiful and thrills me.

But feet are also very vulnerable things. Belle, at least, is very sensitive and ticklish in the feet. A lot of things like back pain, for example, are often rooted in the feet. So while I may be submitting to Belle when I worship her feet, it also requires an amount of submission and trust on her end. It’s a very fulfilling exchange that happens, to say the least.

Have you ever written a family based fic rather than a shippy based fic e.g. Gold family?

All my fics are explicit, so no.  I don’t mind including family-based chapters in fics, or writing Gold and Belle with a family, but the focus would still be on their relationship.  I’m not interested in writing baby fics or kid fics.

Heya sorry to bother you *waves* but you are about the only person I know these days that plays Warcraft. I've been trying to do everything in order as I like to follow the story, and I think I stumbled onto a later patch (and I see another one is about to drop eeek) but I totally don't get how Illidan has returned. I've googled several times and I'm still confused. Sorry if it's a stupid question and you don't have to answer. I hope you are having a good week!

Hi!  Not a stupid question at all ! :D.  Apparently Illidan never really died in Black Temple the first time.  He was weakened and imprisoned by Maeiv in the Vault of the Wardens back in Burning Crusade and he broke free for Legion.  

The Black Temple thing is kind of confusing because there are people who will tell you he DID die there.  But he turned full demon so now he can only be killed in the Twisting Nether.  It is pretty confusing.  But yeah essentially his body  was imprisoned but his soul broke free or something like that.

Oh, no I don’t, but they do eat my garden. What have I been thinking about? I was just last night thinking about a little one-shot or mini sequel to The Politician’s Heart in which Belle copes with falling head over heals in love (as if she’s not already) with Brandon and where Cameron overhears her accidentally call him her son. What’s with me and overhearing stuff? I’m not a sneaky person myself. I want Belle to deal with her childlessness because that’s something I may very well face when I am her age given how my life is. It’s a tender topic but I can feel it pulling at me.Is it even legal for me to tack on stuff to a finished gift exchange project?

well well, now, why do you think that ? XD

I had an idea, okay technically it’s not sex POLLEN, as in per say, but I’ve thought about the Destiny coming across an herb that is safe to infuse and drink and which tastes totally like coffee. 

So most people on board gorge on it, our favourite scientist too of course. 

Unfortunately, it is discovered too late that it lowers inhibitions as a side effect. 

And everyone’s under lowered inhibitions for a few hours. 

Rush and Belle too, of course. 

If anyone wants to write it, go for it.

OMG... you would ask this one. I’m looking at the SIX word documents I have on my computer desktop, which is where I put things to remind myself that’s my next priority. SIX.  It’s impossible to have six priorities at once, which might help explain why I have trouble deciding what to work on each day & never make any freakin’ progress! *beats head against wall* 

Ahem... please pardon the outburst. So, realistically, the next thing I finish and post will probably be an AU featuring woobie Rumple with toddler Bae and teacher Belle, with a side of baby Swanfire. But that one’s a gift for someone and I don’t want to post a snippet and spoil the surprise for my recipient. 

So here’s a snippet from the beginning of another fic that’s high on the priority list. BTW, this isn’t the first snippet I’ve posted from this fic. I need to finish it & post it, otherwise I’ll have posted the whole thing a few paragraphs at a time. 

“Did yousleep well, sweetheart?” Belle asked as she took her seat.

He hummed anaffirmative around his mouthful, then swallowed before announcing, “I playedhide-and-seek with Bae.”

“You hadanother dream about your brother?” Rumple asked.

It wasn’t thefirst time that Gideon had mentioned seeing Bae in his dreams. He’d firststarted talking about it about a year ago, but given his limited languageskills till then, they’d wondered if had been going on longer than that and hejust didn’t have the vocabulary to tell them.

“Not just adream,” Gideon mumbled around his mouthful of pancake. Syrup dribbled down hischin.

Rumple pausedin the act of putting the teapot down. “What do you mean, son? If it wasn’t adream, what was it?”

Gideonshrugged. “Dream, but different.”

Belle tried a another approach. “Are you sure you were asleep? And not awake and using yourimagination? We know you have a wonderful imagination, darling.”

“Uh-uh.Real.”

“Do you seeBae every night in your dreams?”

“No. But if Iwant to play I call him and he’s there.”

You've written Rushbelle. Is there any other anyelle you'd like to write? Who is your favorite Bobby?

Well… I’ve written a teensy bit of Rushacey, and I’d like to write more of that. But I actually have a really hard time getting into Rushbelle. Those two just don’t want to work for me for some reason. I mean, I’ve read some great Rushbelle, but it’s not something I’d be interested in writing myself.

I also have an idea for a Lachelle story, but who knows when I’ll get around to it. It goes something like this:

Lachlan and Lacey are drinking buddies who are brought to the bottle by Jed and Colette’s deaths. They’re constantly getting themselves into trouble, and Belle, who is engaged to Gaston and seems to have a picture perfect life together, is always the one cleaning up her sister’s messes. Lacey accuses Belle of not caring about their mother, but the reality is that Belle is just trying so damn hard to put on a strong front for her. Of course, Lacey doesn’t need that strong front, she just needs a sister to share her pain and grieve with.

Lachlan receives a wake-up call when Lacey gets herself into some real trouble that he blames himself for (probably a car accident that lands her in the hospital?). Mortified by the horrible influence he’s been on Lacey, who is the closest thing to a friend he’s ever had, he finally starts to clean up his act. He visits Lacey every day, takes her to physical therapy, etc.. Belle, who he can’t stand Lachlan and had been pleading for Lacey to stop hanging out with him, starts to warm up to the man he is when he isn’t drunk or hungover. (SPOILER ALERT: they fall for each other, and Lacey thinks it’s hilarious)

There’s lot of emotions and sad and crying and I’m not 100% sure what the ending looks like, but yeah. Lacey may become frustrated with recovery and living with limited mobility after the accident, but make fast friends with a certain disabled pawnshop broker who’s just as salty about the world as she is.

And my favorite Bobby is definitely Rumple. Rumple Bumple will forever hold a special place in my heart. Rush and Lachlan are close seconds, though :)

Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?

Doctor Who :( it was my light, my life, my everything through RTD’s run, but Moffat’s writing just... it doesn’t work for me, at all. I dislike his plotting but also his characterisations and his dialogue. I don’t think he’s a good writer and he honestly took away 90% of what I loved about that show. Every now and then I try, but I always fail. It’s sad. Doctor Who legit saved my life when I was a teenager. I miss it.

Most disliked character? Why?

Zelena. Fucking hell, Zelena. Do I have to say why? She raped Robin, she enslaved a man for a year and killed his child and sees HIM as the bad guy, her selfishness got Robin killed and what happened? She got ‘redeemed’ through one nice moment with Regina, and gets a happy ending with her child, conveniently without Robyn’s father (her rape victim!!!!) around to stop her from raising her rape baby. How hard did Regina and Rumple have to fight for their redemption and HEA, only for Zelena to have everything she wants handed to her??? SHE GIVES RUMPLE PTSD PANIC ATTACKS AND ISN’T SORRY.

Also, she got to hug Roland goodbye - the woman who KILLED BOTH HIS PARENTS AND RAPED HIS FATHER WHILE PRETENDING TO BE HIS DEAD MOTHER. I’m so angry.

10. What inspires you the most?

A combination of music and watching the show.  Most of the time, I’ll think “Well, this should’ve happened instead” and boom, I’m writing a ficlet or story haha.

15. Your guilty writing pleasure?

I think stories/one shots that are just pure fluff. Angst with a happy ending is typically by specialty, so if I can just write something totally happy, I like to do so.
