First off, if you actually exist, I'm flattered as all hell that you're willing to choose me as a way to view the opposite side. And secondly, do y'all have any idea why a majority of House Democrats just voted against redesignating the Houthis as terrorists? The bill passed with 213 Republicans and 72 Democrats in favor, and 1 Republican(Massie, because of-fucking-course it's him) and 134 Democrats against it, and there's no "for other purposes" crap about giving some guy's district a new telescope or anything-the only thing it does is redesignate them as terrorists. @stopmakingliberalslookbad You're a sane liberal-do you know what's going on here? Because most of the other votes surrounding the crackdown on Iran and its allies have been much more bipartisan, with usually under 20 total no votes coming from the very farthest of the left of the party(and also Massie, because God forbid we acknowledge the existence of other countries).

Again, it's not the submitted article itself; just an internal link (at the word "questioning").

I'll admit it

I ended up becoming an anti-sjw between 2018-2019. I saw so tired of seeing extreme sjw tumblr, I accidentally ended up in anti-sjw and literally thought I was in a more open place. When in reality I ended up in a place where it was just a bunch of anti-lgbt, racist, xenophobic, and other problematic people trying to mask themselves as centrists. Like the only person who was sane and the least problematic was stopmakingliberalslookbad and I still do follow her, even if there are little things I don't agree with her with, but she's no where near the other people I followed during 2018/2019.

I think I may of told this story before to Stopmakingliberalslookbad in the past, but I have quite the story. My mother used to work with labor and delivery as a nurse in the past before she switched jobs. One day a woman came in in obvious labor with her teenaged child by her side. My mother and some other nurses were ready to treat her but the woman refused help from them. She said that her child was non-binary, and that cis doctors could potentially upset them being in the room and all (1)

(2) The hospital ended up calling around several fucking hospitals until they could find a non-binary doctor, who was a few hours away.

Oh my that sounds like a lot of trouble to go through.

Edit from Smarmy: I’m not gonna comment since I’m not Jewish, but I will say that I’ve argued with @stopmakingliberalslookbad a couple of times and they pretty much only have predictable centrist hot takes on everything, more focused on making “liberalism” more palpable to conservatives and other centrists than on critical analysis or liberatory politics. I see more conservative shit and sympathizing with actual fascists (just like in the “hugging a neo nazi makes you a hero” screencap) than so-called “liberal” posts. but then, what else would you expect from someone whose url is literally a respectability politics rallying cry, lol
