• Introverted/extrovert: He's a classic "ambivert" to be honest - he's not really one or the other, and even as a younger, more nervous Jedi Padawan and Jedi Knight he's always vacillated between loving people and then needing downtime to recharge. He's right in the middle.

• Organized/disorganized: He's...a little scatterbrained, sometimes. Stress and anxiety make it difficult for him to not actively be trying to solve 800 problems at once and that means he has piles of random things cluttered around his room on the Odessen base. T7 tends to help him sort things out every so often.

• Close-minded/open-minded: It's really hard for him to not be open-minded, given his history as a Jedi and then capture and torment on Vitiate's whim. He's far more understanding of people who are forced into making horrific choices due to his time as Lord Lune.

• Calm/anxious: He's never NOT worrying about something or another. There's so much pent-up nervous energy in this man. And it's even worse when there's actively a problem. Like the Sith Empire. Or the Zakuulan Empire. Or the Celestial invasion force- yeah anyway

• Disagreeable/agreeable: He's relatively easy to get along with, and is straightforward enough to leave a social situation he's unhappy with - the only person he make a point of Being A Jerk To on occasion is Lord Scourge.

• Cautious/reckless: Cautious mostly, because he values life above anything else, but when it comes to his OWN life he's incredibly reckless.

• Patient/impatient: This man CANNOT sit still ever and he will do it HIMSELF if he has to wait even five more seconds.

• Outspoken/reserved: He can and WILL publicly shame the entirety of the Senate for being uncharitable greedy assholes and he will also do it with fiery language that smears them. This man will NOT shut up if he sees something he has an Opinion about.

• Leader/follower: He's comfortable following the direction of people he trusts, but he has an authority complex and balks at being told what to do for the most part

• Empathetic/unempathetic: Empathetic to the point of reckless stupidity, sometimes.

• Optimistic/pessimistic: He'd say "realistic." Lana and Theron would say "rose-colored glasses?" - he believes in sentient life being fundamentally capable of cooperation and refuses to see it differently.

• Traditional/modern: He respects old traditions and actively studies them to become a proper Scion of Zakuul, but he refuses to put tradition before progress and the improvement of the galaxy.

leader/follower: Rhaevi feels comfortable as a leader and she’s charismatic enough for others to follow her. she prefers to lead by example, rather than just to give orders and to make use of others.

optimistic/pessimistic: Rhaevi always faces her opponents believing she’s going to win and guess what - it usually works.

traditional/modern: she’s never particularly understood or liked traditions of the Jedi Order. let’s just say that following traditions is against her free spirit.

hard-working/lazy: it’s most apparent when it comes to Rhaevi’s work outs - she never skips them. in other areas… well, she likes to take a shortcut from time to time but she’s not afraid of hard work.

close minded/open-minded: this is a difficult question for him.  Because on one hand, he’s very stuck in his own ways, and will Continue to be just, a garbagefire, but he’s also WAY too easy for Sith to start poking at.  He opens up much to quickly to their suggestions and it’s not great for him.

calm/anxious: i… have no idea?  He’s not especially anxiety-ridden (altho, situationally, Yes), but he’s also not CALM.  Probably anxiety.  He’s got some Issues that he needs to work out.

disagreeable/agreeable: Disagreeable, he’s an ornery fuck and i love him jfdkalj.

cautious/reckless: RECKLESS.  His fighting style is ‘the best defense is killing your opponent before u need defense in the first place’ and it only works SOMETIMES.  Which is why his wife is a TANK.  Because he’s a fuck who just spends all of his energy Right Now and fights So Hard, So Fast, and then gets EXHAUSTED and now he’s fucked because he can’t defend for shit jfdklajf.

patient/impatient: Impatient.  I’m pretty sure this man’s never even HEARD of patience before.

outspoken/reserved: VERY outspoken, he complains about all SORTS of shit.  If he thinks there’s an issue, he won’t hesitate, and he won’t put it into nice friendly words either.  Man’s kind of bitchy.

empathetic/unemphatic: i don't know actually, but i do know he's unsympathetic. He'll help people, but he's also going to tear you a metaphorical new one while he complains about it.

You know, I always wondered why there’d been a major battle in the GGW above Hoth prior to SWTOR Ch1, given how far away it was from both the Republic and the Empire at the time, and I figured it had to have something to do with Belsavis? Like, maybe that particular Republic Fleet had been in the area as part of the Belsavis defences? But then I looked and 

fleet of prototype warships was gathered by the Republic Navy for an upcoming attack on the Sith Empire's capital of Dromund Kaas in 3665 BBY

uh

do the writers remember where Dromund Kaas actually is in relation to Hoth? where Hoth is in relation to Coruscant? To the shipyards??? TO ANYTHING RELEVANT TO WORLDBUILDING OR GAMEPLAY??? “oh let’s assemble a secret fleet on the OTHER SIDE OF THE GALAXY TO LITERALLY EVERYTHING a long way away from our actual military installations and shipyards for construction and repairs and troops and also at least eighty thousand light years away from our actual target so that it’ll take us literal weeks to get there and make it far more obvious that our approach is noticed before we arrive since longer travel time equals greater possibility of discovery oh what’s that it didn’t work oh no bother” 

and like, the Chiss alerted the Imps, which is... weird, again, just because it’s a snowy planet doesn’t necessarily means the xenophobic Ascendancy is gonna be kicking around on a planet on the opposite side of the galaxy to their territory just randomly, and then the Republic fleet had to have been stationary for days or weeks again for the Imps to get a fleet out there to retaliate??? Like???

We’re coming up on that time of year.

May 31st. The day I started writing.

Prior to 2012 I had a few limping fantasy projects in scattered text files around my hard drive, most of them years old. I had a binder of worldbuilding materials, historical outlines, maps.......but I never finished anything.

May 31st, 2012. A conversation on the SWTOR forums turned to stuff people thought about their characters that isn’t reflected in game. Separately, the game rolled out a Legacy feature that encouraged players to draw links between their characters. I thought, hey, what if my favorite two knew each other? And I wrote a few paragraphs about it. I wrote a little standalone, too.

An instigator to whom I owe everything said, hey, let’s make a fanfiction thread.

Seven years and seven novels plus hundreds of flash fics later, here I am.

Writing is an outlet, and a pastime, and a challenge, and a point of commonality with a number of clever, funny, nice people. I love it. I love brainstorming and outlining and seat-of-the-pantsing and developing and challenging and mix-and-matching. I love knowing these characters and exploring their stories. I love getting stories out where people can read them and connect to them and make them part of the stories in their heads.

And I do a lot of it.

I had read the datamining of The Nathema flashpoint in SWTOR Update 5.9 on reddit, and I have complicated feelings.

(Warning: MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW)

I have expected it’s only a matter of time that SWTOR's story will return to Republic vs. Empire conflict since the War for Iokath storyline, but I still hate to see the Eternal Alliance falling this soon as they lose both the Gravestone and the Eternal Fleet, because I wonder what will happen to Zakuul? The worldbuilding of Zakuul is not the best even by SWTOR standards, but I still believe in Zakuul's potential and I want it better developed.

Also, I absolutely do not want Valkoriate to be right about anything, since Emperor V said at the end of KotET "Remember me when the Alliance burns to ashes".

Once again, I'm glad I have decided that the post-KotET story arcs are not canon for the Marr Legacy.

While I'm glad that players who romance Theron or Lana will finally get to marry them, where the heck is the option to marry Koth??

guilty pleasures: he has a little too much fun, in his opinion, watching people squirm when they figure out that he isn’t Just some random pirate or small-fish Sith.  It’s a little too much fun for him to spring that on people, to drop that knowledge on their heads and watch them flounder.

organized/disorganized: Where he Sleeps is organized, but only bc he just Doesn’t Have Things In There.  He’s got miscellaneous shelves full of random shit everywhere tho (though, none within reach of Toddler in the rooms that Racqet has access to bc Babyproofing), and has organized the cargo storage on his ship ONCE and then never put anything in there again bc he didn’t want to fuck it up.

close minded/open-minded: open-minded!!  He likes to learn new shit, and frankly, closed-mindedness has gotten nobody he knows Anywhere.  It’s mostly gotten them Murdered.

calm/anxious: i think he hit that point Beyond anxious that falls into Calm, and then at some point he reined it back through the anxiety to Just Calm again.  But only barely.  He’s always got this background ‘hhhhhhh’ going on.  That’s just how he is.

cautious/reckless: cautious as FUCK. He will take risks, and do them in a way that Seems and Feels reckless and impulsive, but he did that Thinking.

patient/impatient: extraordinarily patient, just, he sits through So Much

outspoken/reserved: r e s e r v e d.  He’s good to vibe in his own corner tbh, or he WOULD BE if people LET HIM jfakfjdalfja.  Pls, Alliance, stop making him do speeches he is BAD AT THEM.  ATROCIOUS. it stems from THIS.

leader/follower: would be a follower if he wasn’t Constantly in leadership positions, but there’s that saying about the best leaders are good followers, so like, he can do Both.

introvert/extrovert: Leelash rarely opens up to anyone. even her crew doesn't know much about her backstory.

organized/disorganized: organized when it comes to her work, messy and disorganized when it comes to her personal life.

close-minded/open-minded: as a togruta bounty hunter slash mando, she likes to defy status quo. and given how her parents' close-mindedness led to her abandonment, she tries to be as open-minded and accepting as possible.

calm/anxious: she's trying to cure it with alcohol.

disagreeable/agreeable: Leelash tends to assume that everyone is against her. she doesn't necessarily like to argue with others though.

cautious/reckless: she may act a bit hot headed from time to time but she rarely acts recklessly.

patient/impatient

outspoken/reserved: let's put it that way - she's not the most talkative person out here.

leader/follower: to be honest, Leelash is more of a loner rather than leader or a follower. that being said, if she's forced to work in a group, she prefers to be the one in charge.

empathetic/unempathetic: neither. after she was abandoned by her parents, Leelash learnt that being indifferent (to the point of apathy) is the best choice for her - helps with both personal life and work.

optimistic/pessimistic: Leelash's closest family abandoned her so she spent few years of her life living on the streets, completely alone, so can you really blame her?

traditional/modern

hard-working/lazy: Leelash knows she's good at what she does. her slight force sensitivity helps with her aim, but she still believes in hard work.
