oh me? im just thinking about how soren spent two years knowing his dad was dead but not knowing if his sister was dead or alive. im just thinking about how much he's grown since the series started and how he keeps choosing love, keeps choosing good despite where he came from. im just thinking about how he reunited with his sister and tried to get her to see, too. to get her to choose good. im just thinking about how he thought he was finally, finally free from his fathers clutches, free to choose love without guilt. im just thinking about how his sense of security and freedom was ripped away from him because the man who controlled and manipulated him quite literally came back from the dead. im just thinking.

only soren would be insulted by not being eaten by a sea monster and then comforted by the fact that if ezran was a giant sea monster he’d eat him

the characters may have been stale, it felt like nothing happened all season, moments that should have been impactful got brushed over and the comedy was painfully unfunny but also. soren with a five oclock shadow so a 10/10 i would say

I love how s5 is like “How does Rayllum act when they’re not dating?” and the answer is… like a married couple.

the pjo tv show is also immensely eye opening to the way people will just have like. criticism that i'm sure is valid to them but is just like such a non issue to me / other people? and how subjective shit is. "the pacing was bad" it was fast but it didn't bother me. "the dialogue is weird" i have literally no idea what you're talking about and i've never seen anyone present a specific example of what they mean. "the kids knowing about the monsters made it more boring" idk i liked it and thought it worked exposition wise. your experiences are not universal bass boosted

They're so sick for this
& was gonna originally leave it in the tags but then I liked it so why not:
I do think this parallel helps contextualize why Claudia's offer is there in the narrative beyond just characterization "she knows this is a loss the boys have experienced, and there is possible room to convince them," or beyond "I doubt they're going to bring Harrow back fully (if at all) so why tease it" and well: I think this parallel is exactly why.
For starters, there's the sheer difference in presentation that help to contrast and compare Callum and Claudia as characters. More importantly for next season, I think, is that it ties together Claudia wanting to save her father is what led to her working with Aaravos in the first place versus Callum wanting to free Rayla's parents likely being something that is just going to put him further on Aaravos' dark path of destiny for him, if not outright lead to disaster. The road to ruin is paved with good intentions, after all - even if he's being selfless about it because it's not even for himself or one of his direct loved ones, but purely by proxy

There’s “a plot against the king” but it’s just a silly joke in 4x01 right???
but every line in the dragon prince comes back and hurts 10x later on
so what if there is a genuine plot against ezran later on what then huh
