As well as the usual prompts, I have included a Colour Palette for each day - this may not be useful, but if you're a digital artist I thought this would be an easy way to join in at less of a time cost. Here they are, as well as links to a web version. They're approximate, I won't be checking and I'm no graphics expert, these are just the ones I used to make my promo content, which will be shared after this.

I really booked Team Dark Week in, then a holiday and sudden imminent relocation parked themselves directly on top of it, huh?

I have not had the chance to fully read and review the fics that people have made for this week, only had time to just about publish my own stuff, spy on the hashtags, and read the short ones/ the start of the longer works. The absolute hypocrisy of being the one who brought two nearly 30k entries saying I can't read a 5k, I know. I'm actually a very slow reader because I spend a lot of time considering and picturing, and I knew the prompts before everyone else so had longer to work on them.

Anyway, I'm thinking that I am going to give myself from the 8th-11th off to sort my place and move, then when I have some free evenings to do stuff after work I will review the submissions for the days in order over each of the coming 7 weeks up to the end of March, so I can give them time and write them some nice blurbs on my collection bookmarks.

Sorry to let you down ficwriters! I really do want to be able to give proper comments and praise. And if you follow me, good for you because I'll be resharing these cracking works in a staggered form, so if it's been too much to read this week you'll get reminders to read 'em 👍 the exception being my own, obviously, because I can't exactly read and review my own stuff.

That's all, just an update on my life. Loving all the stuff that's coming out, and I can't wait to give it the time it deserves! I will also reshare the art that's been posted throughout the weeks too ❤️

Yeah, so Zodiac of Astrum was another RP group on DA I was in. The original idea wasn't mine but I was among the admin's contributing to the world building, art, zodiac concepts, maps and event organizing. I eventually left it bc the rest of the staff treated me like dirt after an incident when I took over TDW ( ran by same staff people, I was also a minor back then with bunch of adults being petty and spiteful towards me lmao ), and the group is now long gone.

But I still love the world of ZoA because I contributed to it; I decided to take it and make my own independent and private rp world for it here. //

This is my interest check for Team Dark Week, which I am hoping to run the last week of January! It'll be at least 7 prompts, with a few polls and other things knocking around for fun.

The week will be accept work up to a (15) age rating, with the caveat of no sexual or shipping content.

With Team Dark Week starting next week, here's an unexciting post about all the ways you can take part, for anyone who is green to tumblr. All this info will be added to the blog pages too when I get to my computer.

Posting straight to Tumblr;

Post your work straight to your tumblr blog, with the #teamdarkweek or #team dark week, or tag this blog @teamdarkweek. If it contains any common triggers/ sensitive content, please include that in the tags. If the post is long (several paragraphs long, for example) or features very graphic content, please include a 'read more' line underneath any introduction but before any very graphic content.

Posting a link to Tumblr:

Sharing a link such as to Ao3, DeviantArt, Youtube or other social media follows the same as regular posting - use content warnings, use the same tags. Please remember that some websites like twitter (X) don't allow people without an account to view content on their site, so some people may not be able to see them.

For both of the above - if your post breaks the outlined guidelines, it won't be shared to this blog and I will message you to let you know why. I won't ask you to take the post down.

Deviantart Folder for more Team Dark Majesty!

Hey, you may know this already, but on this blog I try to mix in some old Team Dark stuff with the new, and do my best not to repeat reblog stuff - except the teamdarkweek pieces, which I will never shut up about forever and ever.

Filling the queue with old stuff takes quite a bit of time honestly, and one of the ways I do it is searching through deviantart and looking for things that have been crossposted by typing in the usernames into Tumblr or searching for a linked account. This doesn't produce many links, but deviantart is easier for finding old stuff than tumblr is, this site is hell.

Anyway, all to say: on my travels I have been finding loads of gorgeous team dark goodness on there, and I thought I may as well share it with you, too. On principal, I refuse to repost - especially as lots of these are on really old/ abandoned accounts, so they couldn't give consent anyway, but if you browse on there, have a look - there's some real gems!
