‘Guess what? Next we'll get to see The Nanny Affair from Micky and Mason's perspective. It'll be called the Horndog Dad Affair.’

I'd rather see sequels to deserving books like Most Wanted, Mother of the Year, or a Laws of Attraction Book 3, than rehash the Nanny Affair from a different character's perspective.

"The Dalton Affair" is the reason why I always take PB's excuse of not giving other books sequels because of "resource issues/funding issues" etc with a massive grain of salt.
Because you're telling me they had the resources to re-write The Nanny Affair again from Sam's perspective, yet they didn't have it for Most Wanted, Ride or Die, and other books that were slated to get a sequel but didn't? Or the books that were stand-alones and got piss-poor endings because PB just gave up in the end? Granted, it's probably going to be just a book of re-used sprites and backgrounds with some scenes added in from when Sam shown in the story, so it's probably costing them very little to produce, but still. Kind of icky that a book literally NO ONE asked for AND had a proper ending to begin with is getting a reboot and they left other books with half-assed endings and kind of went "oh well. Sorry not sorry"
The whole book just screams desperation to me because this is exactly what happened with the whole wedding/baby fever a few years ago. They were so desperate to see the same level of success (and money) from the first time they had a wedding/baby that they kept knocking book after book out with weddings/babies that the hype died down and the books dropped in quality.
"The Dalton Affair" will probably see some type of success, but I just have a feeling this is going to turn into the smutty, adult version of Royal Romance. Where they just keep going back to milk the series over and over again until someone stepped in and told them they had to end it.

The need to see this for myself was strong, so I messaged PB and the response looks like a generic one for now.
Please let it be in the hands of some ACTUAL FANS of TNA

Because there is never enough Sam Dalton, Mason and Mickey and Robin!! And because this is Sam’s POV there should be more Robin 😉

The Dalton Affair seems to me like a really imaginative way of admitting we have no ideas and also no shame; what we do have is a big thirst for money.

Actually you know what why are we getting The Dalton Affair when the spin-off I would kill to get is a series where we play as Sofia’s gay assistant/social media manager.

With The Dalton Affair is my fear that we might get more POV-LI books... like the next thing you know we're gonna get Ethan's Heart... an alternate take on Open Heart where you play as Ethan the whole time in a story all about Ethan. It'll be so much about Ethan that they'll rename Edenbrook as Ethanbrook. I really hope they don't do that.
Thanks for the new fear, anon!
Other fears I am developing:
A Senator of Rome (ACOR, Antony’s POV)
The Tutor Affair (TDA, Nat’s POV)
Resident Advisor With Benefits (RWB, Drew’s POV)
Queen B: Under The Desk (QB, Kingsley’s POV)
Bodyguard: A Witness Romance (self-explanatory from Cassian’s POV, and YES I was cackling when I made this title)

Checking the release schedule only to realise there's been eight episodes of The Dalton Affair already and I have seen a total of maybe two posts about it since the release. Is anyone even reading that book.

I hate being so MIA, I try to at least take a daily look at my feed (no matter if I post or not), but the truth is that my job is killing me! Things are beginning to look really awful, so I'm in some serious campaign to save as much money as possible, pay my dues and quit, because I don't seem to have a life anymore!
But, a few things before I go back to my duties:
I finished Crimes Of Passion! I really, really, really want to write a loooong post because I have so many questions and opinions, and I made so many notes while reading (*sighs*). Funny thing, I didn't guess Vasili until it was too obvious to deny it (I had doubts throughout the book, but I honestly didn't want him to be the killer, I had another person in mind), but I did guess Colette's betrayal! 😂 I really hope to find a moment to do it next week.
Is there anyone else here reading Dirty Little Secrets? I swear I thought this was going to be another book like Witness (but with an actual plot) because the characters couldn't even say "hi" without making a dirty comment and it was kind of "OMG, not these h*rny people again!" exhausting, but the last two or three chapters have been quite surprising! It's one of those books I'd suggest people to keep reading because the first chapters don't reflect what the rest of the book is.
My biggest fear about The Dalton Affair is kind of becoming a reality: in The Nanny Affair, I never played using my MC as the third wheel in the relationship between Sam and Sofia (= Sofia was the first one who cheated in my story), but somehow now it feels the book is already treating MC and Sam as if they were a couple after 5 chapters. I know the book will skip LOTS of scenes because Sam was not present in them, but it still doesn't make much sense. I'm at a point where they both know each other's feelings, but everything was super sudden, I don't think I can even explain it.
Every character in The Billionaire's Baby needs to think about what they truly want for their lives. These people have some serious maturity issues.
I haven't played Bloodbound Origins yet, I think I'll wait for it to be fully released to read it.
I haven't played Blades either. I still need to finish my Book 1 replay lol.
Anyway, this is a summary of the opinions no one asked for, but I needed to vent. Even if most of the current releases are being meh at the moment, I can't even begin to explain how much they're helping me to disconnect from real life. My final advice would be: Don't read The Dalton Affair if you haven't read The Nanny Affair first, or you won't understand a thing. 😂

I know the fandom isn't particularly thrilled about The Dalton Affair to say the least but what I find cool about this book and the whole concept about playing from the LI's POV is that you can have a proper MLW romance and play as someone in the position of power for once. I have two problems with it though: the nanny sprites are unattractive and overused and there's no way I'm gonna get VIP just for that book. Unless it won't stay as VIP exclusive forever and I manage to find a way to swap the character faces 🤔
