the most unpopular and niche au but a so weird au where eddie’s a musician on tour with his band and his kids just getting back into his art after the mysterious death of his partner. one kid is into the paranormal and they keep having Mysterious Hijinks. eddie makes prophetic/knowing music without realizing that’s what it is. his partner was actually imprisoned in hell all these years but disney wouldn’t let them do that plotline so.

The End of the World With You continues to keep my attention: *Ep 5 Spoilers*

Yuma may have super powers...or at least he's a rain bringer.

He's fallen in love with his dead idol's younger sibling (Meguru)... who Ritsu also happens to know.

Ritsu casually mentions that he was an actor and has acted with said dead idol (did he mention acting before?)

The reason I say younger sibling is because they haven't really said how they identify. Meguru publicly dresses like a girl now that it's the end of the world but previously only did it as an online persona.

Meguru seems fine with she/her and he/him pronouns.

Meguru also gets harrassed a lot by perverted men but Masumi and Yuma have been very protective.

Masumi is trying to figure out if Ritsu's stony attitude towards the impending doom is a front and it's definitely looking that way. He might be scared like everyone else.

Oh they decided to take Meguru home too.

The teaser for ep 6 seems very interesting...Masumi is going to get hurt somehow and we will get an emotional reaction from Ritsu.

#the edge of sleep #teos #literally ive only listened to the first three episodes bc i struggle to find an excuse to listen to an audio drama #i dont really listen to podcasts. i turned on distractible while i was cleaning my aunts house cause it was good to have as background noise #but teos is a work of fiction it's a thriller/mystery/horror story that i want to give my undivided attention #and thats hard to do because my brain Refuses to stay on track if listening is all i'm doing #when i was into bmc i had to be reading the script while i listened to the audio bootleg or i wouldnt fucken stay concentrated #i only listened to it initially during a shift w a disability support worker bc we were driving and we had fuckall else to do #but 1. i dont always have the same worker and it feels rude to keep listening to a story halfway through with no context for them #and 2. from my understanding shit gets decidedly fucked up from ep 4 onward so its probably super not appropriate to listen to #in somebody elses fucking car #but i wanna finish it SO BAD i wanna be able to pour through the teos tag and talk about it with other people without getting spoiled #ive gotten spoiled on a Lotta shit just from reading the tvtropes page #auauufah im so torn between figuring out how to listen to it as a podcast or waiting for more info on the tv show #fellow autistic people do you ever do that thing where ur special interest is always some form of media but its prone to changing #so like every few months youre defined by a new fucking show or game or film or whatever #but Every So Often when ur between big interests u have a very short-lived (hours/days/week or two) but INTENSE obsession w something niche #yeah its like that #my brain is that little ms paint creature thing on all fours with pointy teeth and red eyes biting something in its mouth savagely #and the something is teos #internal monologue

do people just .... not realize that reki is also traumatized by the accident that hurt his childhood friend? that his friend wasn’t the only one that was scared? that reki is equal parts terrified of being left behind as he is of someone getting badly hurt while skating? did we just forget the parts of the show where reki only became afraid of adam after he tried to hurt him? that he made langa to promise to stop being reckless multiple times, far before the worry that langa was outgrowing him even set in?

I am explaining his headspace ) #its all messy and jumbled and ultimately both fears are what cause the fight #but he is so scared of langa getting hurt #hell of anyone getting hurt you see it in the way he acts when miya's showing off the rail slide #he's scared! his friend's accident fucked him up! he doesn't want to see someone get badly hurt skating again!
