alright tumblrinas prepare yourselves for me using my blog as my own diary for a lil bit uwu

i gotta hand in the proposal for my senior research project by tmrw night and gUESS WHO HASN'T STARTED ANYTHINGGGG

me. it's me. i'm so unmotivated and oddly tired lately?? like fr slept for most of my reading week and I'm so confused how???? i was so excited to start researching n drawing stuff in my free time?? wack. i blame depression- that evil bastard swirling my poor innocent noodle brain around on it's demonic pitchfork... idek what I'm saying alright NEXT SUBJECT---

im working w a local medical aesthetician who wants to create a guideline/course for medical professionals and beauty technicians to take in order to improve their bedside manners (aka how u talk and interact w clients/patients, the extra jazz on top of your scheduled appointment stuff ykno??) and ANYWAYYSSS I'm so down to help her bc!! i totally agree that some ppl are so casually insensitive when handling patients? and she was telling me about how heartbreaking it was that some of her clients were so surprised by her?? just being a decent human & doing her job??? like,,, yall I'm talking if a trans woman wants a brazillian wax?? like I personally don't like touching other ppl but like?? there's nothing wrong with that at all????? but apparently some places will deny that kinda service bc of their [prejudice OR lack of training in waxing diff genitalia... it's easy to say it's just a transphobic professional but sometimes,, there's just no resources for ppl to access and they don't want to hurt ppl in the process ykno?? its complicated but ethics b like that lol] and anyways ugh ok now I'm remembering how she hesitated telling me the details of waxing someone who's faced fatphobia and BRUH- I'm a twig, I can admit that but?? HOW would u not know or be comfortable asking someone to hold up their stomach or arm while u did ur job???? like I get it- some ppl might say it too harshly and that's a subjective tonal issue.. but?? like it's not rocket science to just BE POLITE- and anyways idek but yeah..

so ok im getting excited one again yay this was a good idea- imma start researching what ethical considerations are directly mentioned in physician training, how medial education is formatted, and bedside manner things... then I'll start compiling a report about what SHOULD be done and how it can be taught instead... (me and the nice lady r thinking of starting by creating awareness on insta via infographics and fun stuff before creating an online course... she wanted to do like a community college typa course but I recommended an etextbook course bc?? i mean I've done plenty of university courses primarily using an online textbook site soo it's def worth a shot and can be mass-distributed & can b formatted to allow for accessibility ..things.. wait whats the word.. uhh OH- ACCOMODATIONS yeeeee im so smort

....ok thats it. probs. this was neat. 10/10 brain feels more on track now omg..

OH yo i gotta remember to declare in my research intro that I'm a cis woman... wait or not... depends on if I focus more on soft-skills vs. hard-skills in my research.. no wait i still need to bc yeah i get diff treatment as a woman who fits the stereotypical "girly" standard than others might.... hmm ugh i don't wanna do a survey but now I'm wondering if i should get ethics clearance to (anonymously) question lgbt+ folks in my area about their experiences since it'll def be more reliable than some paper in a fancy-schmancy medical journal .... but that's so much woooorkkkk nooo 😭

gonna start summarizing some medical research to start a lit review.

then identify if there are gaps in existing research (specifically around patient mental health when it comes to demographic characteristics)

then summarize some marketing research to make informed predictions/recommendations on how tooooo... like productively change your habits or at least identify them? yeah? hmm marketing for how to present that info but psych & epidemiology research to get the content of the info probably....

favorite thing about them - i rlly do like her personality!! she’s a fun girl and i think if she existed irl i would wanna be her friend/she’d be good for that. like she’s legitimately just doing her best and being a person,, hibiki v often feels like,, palatably realistic. ur friend whos traumatized bc everyones traumatized, but she’s coping with it in a way that’s normal and not. yk. setting an orphanage on fire or smthn weird like that

least favorite thing about them - i feel like her dynamic with kanade and their childhood was written as smthn really bad, but then linuj handled it so miserably. this goes more into things with kanade, but by insisting kanade was just inherently like that, it really took autonomy from both twins and diminished the blatant abuse they had gone through, so prolly that bit of her writing? then for her in and of herself. it just,,, really does not make sense for her to act the way she does to kanade, and looking at her interactions with others, it almost feels ooc the way she treats kanade. she's generally a sweet girl, she's just more childlike, which makes sense with her backstory!!! but then out of nowhere she's saying such horrible things,, its odd to me

favorite line - any line with hibiki giving someone a nickname/the resulting exchange tbh

brOTP - setsubiki!!! their interactions r fun and my fucking keyboard broke this is the last question i have to do (bc i answered them out of order) and im so so so tired of this so im sorry if my answers r short but. ya every scene they have together is nice- hibiki trusts setsuka and u can tell setsukas attempts to console and be there for hibiki are coming from a place of legitimate affection and care

OTP - mmm?? im not rlly prone to romantic hibiki ships. as we all prolly know by now, i hc hibiki as having DID, and view the alter we generally/frequently see as being a child, and either way, she's canonically not v grown mentally, so! yk yk

nOTP - for some reason. any ships with hibiki x guys make me feel so uncomfortable. idk what it is, but i havent seen one that doesn't set off alarm bells,, so! personally not my taste

random headcanon - uhhh other than the did thing? lemme think- her scalp is really sensitive and having it up in pigtails all day always leaves her head aching when she finally takes them out, but she doesn't like the way her hair looks any way else, so its. the constant irritation of that, or realizing "oh wow, my head hurts" when she takes her hair down.

unpopular opinion - she can... be the object of her parents affection..... and have been damaged by that differently than kande was,,,, and she can still be a victim...... she can have heard her parents mistreating kanade and internalized that, and have hurt kanades feelings by saying things that stuck with her.......... that doesn't change that shes a victim,, and she's not abusive for doing that,,, its just a thing that happened,,,,, acknowledging its impact on kanade is not a disservice on her character, so long as you acknowledge who taught hibiki that.

BNHA + FNF AU

Got bored last night and just started thinking about things, and now I’m here with three variations on how FNF characters can be replaced with BNHA ones. Formatting sucks but I don't care, y'all will just have to deal with it.

First we have one where Izuku plays the role of BF and Shouto plays the role of GF:

Endeavor as Daddy Dearest. (Big, mean, enough of a dick that he can be considered a demon.)

Mina and Denki as Pump and Skid. (I couldn't think of anyone else as a good pure but dumb duo.)

Just about anyone as Pico. (Most likely Ochako, Tenya, Hitoshi, or Katsuki, but again anyone works.)

Rei as Mom. (She gives a very threatening shovel talk because even though she knows Izuku's a good kid she still wants to make sure Shouto isn't hurt like she was by Endeavor.)

Himiko and Dabi as Mom and Daddy Dearest in Week 5. (I don't want Rei anywhere near Endeavor so here's my compromise. Plus I can see Himiko having a knife to a fake santa's neck threatening him to give her presents or something lmao.)

Shigaraki as Lemon Demon. (He attacks the mall, he looks wack, what else do I need to say?)

Either Momo or Yo as Senpai. (Yo has the whole two-face thing going on, but I saw a HC that Senpai was GF's lover that lost to Daddy Dearest and got shoved into the game as a result, and like the only other person I could see as an ex for Shouto is Momo.)

Then we have one where just about anyone plays the role of BF and Izuku plays the role of GF:

Toshinori as Daddy Dearest. (If someone fails Izuku they'll have to live with the weight of having disappointed the ex Symbol of Peace and I don't think they'll be able to handle that guilt.)

Kouta and Eri or Mahoro and Katsuma as Skid and Pump. (Two pure and small beans that're just there to have a good time and see Izuku ^u^)

Pico entirely depends on who BF is so basically anyone could be him.

Inko as Mom. (Same deal as Rei, she gives a mean shovel talk and actually scares Izuku's lover more than Toshinori ever could.)

Shigaraki as the Lemon Demon still of course.

Either Himiko or Katsuki as Senpai. (I'm biased against Katsuki so he's here, but Himiko also works since she's a villain who would definitely kill Izuku and his lover and still has that schoolgirl vibe.)

And finally, Denki as BF and Hitoshi as GF:

Shouta as Daddy Dearest. (He has the lower voice of the two, plus he'd be the main obstacle if someone were trying to date Hitoshi.)

Kouta and Eri as Skid and Pump still. (I can't find any other role that could suit Eri, and you know she'd have to be there as Hitoshi's little sister. And I couldn't think of anyone to pair her with, therefore she's still with Kouta.)

Hanta, Kyouka, or Mina as Pico. (All three are viable since Mina and Hanta are dumbasses who would challenge Denki to a rap battle instead of whatever hazing Shouta might ask them to do to Denki (Don't ask why Shouta told his students to haze his son's boyfriend, I don't know why either.), and Kyouka just likes music so of course she'd rap against Denki.)

Hizashi as Mom. (Between him and Shouta, Hizashi would definitely be the one to rap against Denki in a moving limo with backup dancers. End of discussion.)

You'll never guess who I've decided the Lemon Demon should be. It's impossible to forsee my choice...

Neito as Senpai. (Arrogant, foul-mouthed, blonde, blue eyes... Yeah, Neito's a perfect fit here.)
