If this is really the original script for The Gang Gets Analyzed -- which, I couldn’t find it online anywhere and don’t know the original source, but I’m choosing to believe it is real because I wish to manifest a majestic and homosexual world -- then gay/bi Dennis is real, full stop. 

I’ve always felt like RCG wouldn’t be willing to have two gay characters on Sunny lest they become “the gay show”, and also that they’d worry about the optics of having Dennis, worst guy extraordinaire and sexual predator, be gay. Mac is obviously an insane asshole but he doesn’t harm other people quite as saliently as Dennis does, so him being gay isn’t as potentially offensive. Which is one of the key reasons I’ve always thought we’ll never get canon macdennis --they wouldn’t be willing to make Dennis gay.

But this changes that pretty significantly, and makes me wonder a couple of things: why was this line cut? Have they planned that Dennis was at least bi since s8 at least? This would’ve had Dennis come out years before Mac did. And the Implications of this scene as written--both Dennis willingly admitting to being gay/bi while also simultaneously saying he “almost got Mac to [admit being gay] last night”. This could just be me being insane, but I immediately read that and was like--how did you almost get him to admit it, huh? through doing some gay shit? 

If RCG have been thinking / writing Dennis as being gay/bi for 8 years that makes a lot of the meta about Dennis’s hatred of Mac in s12/s13 make so much more sense. But I wonder if they changed their mind about outing Dennis for the reasons listed above, and that’s why it was ultimately cut, then I think that’s really strong evidence that macdennis will never be canon.
