Hi! Feel free to answer this privately if you don't wanna post it but. I really love your art, and your hanahaki comic got stuck in my brain, I adore it. It inspired me to try writing a Halstarion fanfic of the same trope, and I don't want you to think I'm stealing your idea or finishing your story for you, so I won't publish it unless you're ok with that?? I'm perfectly fine keeping the fic between myself and my friends if you'd rather I didn't publish it, or I can hang onto it until your comic is finished before posting if you'd prefer. I definitely want to credit your comic for inspiring me no matter what, and I can't wait to see where you're taking it!

9. Have you ever written for a fandom without watching/reading/playing the source material?

Ohhh definitely not, lol. The closest I’ve gotten is that when I got into Buffy, the ONLY channel I had that aired the show came in super static-y, but somehow I was completely riveted by this show hidden behind the veil. I’m pretty sure I had to Google some lines from the show, maybe their names, to find out what it even WAS, because it was completely unintelligible to try watching. Google was still in its infancy then, but I found a fan-made database that had transcriptions of every episode and that’s literally how I consumed the show for years because it was the only thing available to me. It was wild later, finally being able to WATCH the show and hear how the dialogue was meant to be delivered. I wrote for that fandom for about ten years and I still think about it frequently tbh. In fact I listened to the musical soundtrack just last week dffghkdkhgdgdjjjldgndmk

10. Have you ever written for a fandom without reading other fanfic for it?

Definitely! I’m kind of absolutely fucking shit-ass trash at reading fanfic anyway, tbh. Part of it is because I don’t want to be influenced by or accidentally copy anyone else. When I got into Avengers, i just dove in feet first. Ditto when I got into Cablepool. And when I lowkey abandoned Avengers for OPM bc I was like, ‘oh holy shit these animu guys are ASEXUAL, finally my time has come, my people need me!!!!’ and ran off to feverishly write “Salvaged” and “The Distance Between Us” and ruin the fandom. Not sorry.

Deleting Writing

hey guys! so i am making a new year’s resolution to better myself as a whole. And that includes deleting things out of my life which make me feel like a failure. 

That includes some of my writing that I have written in the past two years being in the fandom. I will be deleting the following stories from my fanfiction.net an ao3:

Lucy is dating Natsu, and the last thing Natsu sees is that Lucy and Loke kiss. Will he break it off with her, or will they stay together? 

Under the Mistletoe: Zervis drabble for my secret santa of 2015, @thedarklordgivenofucks. Kisses under the mistletoe for our favorite former crack ship with a teasing Happy. 

An Exchange of the Heart: Natsu wants to give Lucy the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day. Will she enjoy the gift or dislike his gesture? 

Aftermath: RWBY fic. After the war is over, Ren has something to admit to Nora. 

Sleeping Love: request from my deactivated tumblr. Nalu angst. Lucy falls ill on a trip with Natsu, and it is up to him to take care of her. 

A Small Price to Pay: Pre-Chapter 500 in manga. Acnologia mistakes Lucy for Anna and she is being attacked by him. With Natsu asleep, what is Lucy going to do? 

A Dragon’s Nose: Lucy finds out that Natsu’s nose is a little more sensitive than the others’, so she takes matters into her own hands by trying different fragrances on. (THIS ONE IS ACTUALLY REALLY DUMB NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT LOL)

Love’s War: Gajevy, Mulan!Au. Gajeel is Levy’s commander in the army against the huns. But when she rides away after little more than “you fight good”, what happens when he shows up for dinner unexpectedly? 

Undercover Temptation: Ninja!Lucy AU. I was going to finish this, but I don’t think that I will. Lucy’s life goal is to defeat the man who killed her father–who also happens to be the older brother of the man who sees her trying to kill him. It’s kind of embarrassing lol

Tattooed Fairies: my first story that I ever wrote for the FT fandom! It’s rewritten however lol. Maximum Ride x FT au. 

Growing Nest: Future!Nalu au. Lucy has a surprise for Natsu years after the war ends. 

If you would like the chance to read any of my old writing and seeing how far I have come in the past two years, now is your chance. I will be deleting those stories for GOOD next Tuesday, January 10th. 

If you are to review, PLEASE KEEP THEM CONSTRUCTIVE. I understand that they’re all kind of terrible, but it was almost two years ago that I wrote those things. So please be understanding.
