Well this book was a wild right. I really enjoyed it. The characters were enjoyable and realistic. They had flaws that they overcame. You could really see the character development even in the characters who weren't center stage.

The one thing I could have used a bit more of was the ship facetime. But I do like how Laura kept it about theo's journey. I just loved the theo and søren moments so much I wanted more.

I love Art shes my fav. I enjoyed watching her come alive and open up to her friends. And how her and her mother finally figured their shit out... well were going to try and figure their shit out.

Heron I'm so glad he was able to see that søren wasn't like his father and that he knew what he had done was wrong.

Im said about Blaise but I saw it coming from the get go so 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ wish he would have come back from the earth minds kind of like theo though like he just needed to accept his power or some shit like that. Like it led them to figure out a key piece of the guardian stuff. But a lass it didnt.

You don’t have to like the protagonist of a book, even if the book is amazing.

I really like Kvothe from the Kingkiller Chronicles book series, but I don’t mind if people dislike him. He can get arrogant and annoying, even though he’s charming and likeable.

I mean...I don’t like Theodosia from the Ash Princess book series, even though those books are incredibly well written. I’m well aware she has a million admirable traits, and that she’s only a teenager with so much trauma and pain to handle, but that doesn’t mean I’m obliged to like her.

And I like many female protagonists. Girly ones, boyish ones, teenage ones, adult ones, intelligent ones, silly ones, moral ones, morally grey ones. Ones with trauma and ones without trauma.
