this was an experiment to test my hypothesis “if i keep the lineart the same but change up the coloring/shading a little bit, then i can drastically change the tone of a piece.” the result? i think that worked, yeah

i found a fairly obscure gacha game that closed a few years ago called Realive (REALIVE!～帝都神楽舞隊～), and theres a character in it named himur/o rei (forward slash so their 3 fans left dont see this in the searches) that looks almost exactly like testament. my jaw dropped. the shockwaves of the force caused a small earthquake in my area. real.

BUTTT the character has gray eyes, so i edited all the art where their eyes are open to be red. hehe. their eyes are closed in a lot of art. i think ill share here too some other cards that i think look a lot like testament but i didnt edit, which i wasnt planning on doing.

post is unrebloggable because on some level i feel that editing this art to pretend theyre another character is disrespectful, but its not like i can get to know this own character and love them for their own merits when their game is dead and gone. trust me, if i could i wouldve been downloaded it
