In the first three, YES Dean is pretty good with them. He empathizes and connects in a way that solves the case (Lucas/Timmy). However a key component here is that those boys remind him of him. Ben (despite being not related (cop out)) is a mini-Dean, and even the others are parallels. Would Dean be good with a kid who acted completely differently? One with disabilities, or a girl?

[I think the show answers this somewhat with Claire and Jack, but that’s.. beyond my wheelhouse sorry.] [There’s also Emma, but.. she was woefully underexplored as a character before Sam killed her. An Amy/Benny plot device].

In comfort/“good days” Dean is great. And he’s certainly willing to make sacrifices. But... the other “kid” of Dean’s is, well, Sam. He brought Sam to the hospital when he broke a bone, he fed and cared for him days on end, I mean come on. There’s “watch your sibling while we go on a date”, “pick up X after school” and then there’s THAT.

Did Dean do a good job? Eh. He was a child himself. And what parent does it perfectly? etc. I think something that’s consistent though with his character is that he’s 1. dramatic 2. flustered in conflict.

All that to say: he’d be a mostly decent father. Say things in anger that he may or may not apologize for, that his kid(s) would have to internally forgive him for- that “you hurt me, but family means loyalty/duty, so...”. I don’t think he’d rock a PFLAG sticker or handle his daughter’s complaints about a sexist teacher well. But he’s nurturing: he cleans! Nests! He changes diapers! In a room full of other people, they look toward Dean to keep a baby safe! So he’d make the other moms at the neighborhood cookout jealous. Sam (bc let’s be real, that’s the only real co-parent option, wincest or no) would have to put up with a LOT of “You’re so lucky 🙂” comments.

⬆️I am very fond of semi retired SamDean, who are known by Lebanon’s waitresses as a cute “keep to themselves” gay couple. I guess you can throw Dean Jr in there (hopefully named something else). I think the fact that so much of Spn is biology/bloodlines, it's a good thing that they'd have to adopt, magic, or at least be very intentional about how this child comes to be. Which is good, because if that baby looks just like Sam did, prepared or not Dean's getting like 12 new disorders. OR if we're not doing Wincest and Sam's married to some thin thing who popped out Dean Jr. and Dean's the uncle he's always wanted to be, then sure! Omg in the last few posts you were talking about heat as in temperature but my brain registered it as something COMPLETELY different and it got me thinking…

What if tieflings had some kind of a heat cycle and they get extra sensitive and desperate because of it?? I can imagine Zevlor and Rolan being super embarrassed or nervous to bring it up, maybe Dammon’s more chill about it but still extra needy

So, I feel like once all tiefs reach sexual maturity they'll start to either have heats or ruts, depending on their biology

Anyone with female biology will have a heat, and I feel like they'd have heats similar to cats but with a slightly longer time between heats

So generally they'd have a heat every two to three months or so unless they're pregnant or have other health issues

For the ones with male biology they'd definitely have a rut

They'd follow similar patterns to the women, but it's not unusual for some tieflings to have longer stretches between their ruts if they don't have a partner

A single tiefling that isn't particularly sexually active might only go into rut once or twice a year

I do think a male tiefling could prematurely go into rut if exposed to a females heat, and couples that have been together for a while will sync up

They have pretty typical heat and rut behaviours with nesting, possessiveness, and a pretty undeniable breeding kink

Nesting, possessiveness, and general mood shifts tend to start setting in during pre-heats and pre-ruts

Pre-heats and pre-ruts can last two to five days, and a full heat and rut can last anywhere from two days to a full week depending on the individual

In saying that, having a partner can definitely shorten both heats and ruts, so single tieflings working through things by themselves will have longer heats or ruts

Heats and ruts can also become more painful the longer they go on without the relief of a sexual partner

Tieflings can tell when others are in heat and rut mostly through pheromones, but a female tieflings tail will also involuntarily lift when she's in pre-heat/heat and around a male

I wonder if I should go so far as to headcanon that they have knots, I did already give them all ridged dicks

If you and Dammon aren't dating then he'll be much more shy about his ruts

He basically disappears from his forge and the public for a few days and then comes back as if nothing happened

Everything is under the cut because it's Lure, so lots of nsfw subjects matters. In this case, it also includes events that are non-con sex, non-con body modifications, and a sprinkling of gaslighting.

Because of Lure!Kaiba's rather pervasive breeding kink, comments have wondered what Lure within an a/b/o world would be like. One of the most straightforward possibilities would be alpha!Kaiba x omega!Jounouchi. Which I understand has its appeal for people but not so much for me. Breeding kink =/= pregnancy, and I generally don't like pregnancy themes in fics. Nor do I think Lure!Kaiba would ever actually want children, even in an a/b/o setting. Saying it now, Lure!Kaiba is childfree lol.

One of my goals with Lure is to write it more as a corruption/grooming (honestly, that's what happened even if they're the same age) arc. So for Kaiba to straight out sexually assault Jounouchi wasn't an interesting route for me to write. Going with alpha/omega dynamics would feel too similar to that.

On the other hand, I've always wanted to see alpha/alpha Kaijou. I think there's like half a fic that goes that route (but then one of them gets pregnant in it so that killed my interest).

And a friend alerted me to a new-ish(?) trope in a/b/o writing. Bitching, which is the process through repeated exposure/ingestion of alpha semen can trigger biological/hormonal changes in an alpha to become like an omega. Depending on who's writing it, the biological changes can be pretty extreme to the point where the now bitched alpha could also get heats and pregnant like an omega (stories that take place in a magic-powered setting commonly go all the way as it were).

This trope is honestly perfect for Lure. Is it even more non-con? Yes. But there's an added level of fucked up to it because of the body modification angle. It retains all the elements of mental and emotional and physical conditioning that Lure!Kaiba has been doing to Jounouchi. Kaiba has demonstrated his kink is mostly exercising control over Jounouchi's body, and bitching allows him to take that to the next level. Plus it'd also give me all the alpha/alpha dynamics I craved at the beginning.

tldr: Kaiba sets out to own/control Jounouchi as he does in the original timeline. Jounouchi thinks Kaiba's a weird kinky pervert to be into alpha/alpha sex (which Kaiba definitely is, and Kaiba has definitely knotted Jounouchi before he was fully bitched). But Kaiba's also working on a secret long-term project to bitch Jounouchi into his personal omega. And that two weeks sex marathon that happened after they graduated in the original universe? Here, it's Kaiba locking Jounouchi in a room and tying him to a bed, pumping him full of hormones and semen to finally finish that process. Some of Yoongi’s thoughts on his physical changes etc. will be shown in chapter 8, so I won’t go into that here. Mostly, he considers everything an inconvenience because he cannot move, fight etc. like he used to. Vanity is only a minor factor on it, especially since he wouldn’t have grown up unter the same sort of beauty pressure, so to speak, as other omegas have. He was never taught to primarily think of himself as pretty so they are not that much of a bother in that regard. And while they are a side effect of the pregnancy, at this point the belly itself is - literally - the bigger problem.

As for Namjoon, I don’t think he would think them ugly. He appreciates Yoongi’s tattoos and his scars as signs of this strength etc., so this is just another part of that.

Harry Potter Lashton: I've been working on this since Halloween. It's super short, just two one shots. I had the idea while on the Harry Potter ride at Universal where Bill Weasley is. Basically, Ashton is Bill and Luke is Fleur. It takes place in the hospital right after Ashton/Bill is attacked by the werewolf. It's mostly just a version of the book's plot line, but I had fun doing it (@werewolfashton enjoyed it too lol)

Werewolf Lashton: So this one is a long one. I was working on it for a few months before the two fall fics (Fem Muke and Jen's Body Muke). Leap Year AU: Luke knows proposing to your partner on Leap Year in Ireland means the relationship will work. He decides to do this with his boyfriend. Michael's the pub owner begrudgingly helping him. Basically, it's based on the movie Leap Year. Luke wants to get engaged, but he gets side tracked and ends up on a cross country tour of Ireland with Michael to get engaged. Or does he?

Nightmare before christmas AU: Luke is Sally's ragdoll brother. Michael (vampire), Calum (witch), Ashton (werewolf) try to court him, unsuccessfully thanks to Luke's dad Dr. Frankenstein.

Razor's Edge Part 4: Luke and Sierra want to take their relationship with Kayshton from FWB to dating
