Different anon but I would love to hear more about how Galo being autistic affects his relationship with Aina

oh i would love to talk about this cuz i think its an interesting example we have of galo being autistic and most other characters not rly making much effort to understand where hes coming from or connect w him! so first i gotta mention that in canon theres a lot of wiggle room for interpretation with aina and her and galos relationship just due to how little time its given, but to me it FEELS like they want her to be a parallel to galo (ESPECIALLY true w the lake scene) so sometimes she comes off more as like, also autistic and just doesnt rly mesh in communication styles or understanding why her own attempts at reaching out 2 galo arent working (same as he struggles w his relationship w aina and other ppl, and why theres so many songs abt him and lio Getting Each Other) so like autistic in an opposite direction from him, and sometimes (esp in the ova) it feels like shes meant to b read as allistic and thats why they arent rly meshing. i think the latter is probably more likely to be the intention but the former can b a lot of fun cuz autistic aina <3 anyway moving on

so like to make this more organized im gonna skim thru the ova and the major scene w them from the movie, galo and burning rescue meet in his ova when he introduces himself to them by way of bringing up his special interests and what he assumes are their shared passion for firefighting and everything that goes along w that. ive talked abt this b4 w this scene, but galo bringing his special interests in2 the convo right away and introducing them alongside himself is both a super common autistic way to try to connect w people as well as say hey this is what im about. that obviously doesnt go that well as we get our first introduction of how burning rescue is gonna treat him for the ova and duration of the movie, aina included, in being kind of rude to him (except remi whose very ableist compared to the others) abt it n immediately treating him like an idiot for trying to communicate w them the way thats natural for him. this kind of solidifies how theyll talk abt him and communicate w him for the movie, even as they gain some respect 4 him for saving thyma they dont change how they talk w/about him

im not gonna go over everything in the movie but the lake scene w galo and aina has the very obvious purpose of showing that galo isnt interested in like the potential woman love interest the movie is pushing at him but IS interested in lio, it also serves various other functions some of which being 1) exposition 2) introducing galo and aina as being more alike (paralleled even) than they can rly understand thru their previous attempts at getting 2 know each other 3) SHOWING more how aina and galo have not rly gotten along b4 and showing thru their faltering attempts 2 connect that even if they have stuff in common this is not the romance u r going to get i this movie and they just dont like each other like that

aina and galos communication styles and humor both feel different to me and dont mesh that well, theyre both blunt tho in different ways (aina even told heris galo was ‘honest and too blunt for his own good’ which i think is funny coming from her lol) like galo tries to be expressive and hes got this thing abt Proving himself while aina more quietly does her own thing, galos rly genuine and doesnt rly get that other ppl might not b being genuine (which is smth kr*y took advantage of to lie to him and manipulate him), aina however is rly dry so it comes off as barbed when i think its unintentional and while there r points when shes kind of mean i dont think shes like, going out of her way to hurt his feelings i just think she doesnt rly recognize that galo.. HAS feelings? theres a certain way burning rescue (and in general other characters in promare) treat galo where hes dismissed as being just an idiot for.. being autistic rly and i think thats just smth aina did b4 they had more of a chance to talk one on one and make more of an effort. i dont think she rly treats him the same way she did in the start of the movie and the ova as she does the further the movie goes on. they just didnt know each other very well and no one rly made much of an effort w him b4 then

the long and short of it is that from what we see in the movie it affects his relationship w aina a very similar way it does w burning rescue as general (they function sort of like a single character at times) and galo and aina having dif communication styles (galos very explicitely bcuz he is autistic) shows in making it harder for him to have like, genuine connections and relationships bcuz while galo and aina both sometimes try to extend olive branches to each other (like i think they have trouble getting along but it helped to find common ground) them not rly understanding each other or why the other person does things the way they do was smth intentionally included 4 the straightbaiting bit to work and showing galo and aina wouldnt rly work together and galo and lio r more like. attracted to/intrigued by/instinctively understanding of each other and have that compelling them to get to know each other, n their experiences lend them dif levels of respect towards each other that galo and his coworkers never had. in a way even tho aina made an effort w galo later he had kind of moved on from trying to be friends with his coworkers by then and pursued his relationship w lio instead (again lots of dif reasons they get each other and vibed on a dif level than he had w other ppl, the obvious among them being theyre gay 4 each other lol), tho thats not set in stone n after the events of the movie maybe they can b friends now

anyway umm yes i think post promare galo and aina find ways to communicate better and i would like for them to be friends but like galo being autistic is legitimately the reason trigger gave for him getting off on the wrong foot with burning rescue lmao. it definitely affects his relationship w aina in that way even tho i think she started being more receptive 2 his way of communicating later on. hope this somewhat answered ur question, i have a lot of dif ways of viewing their relationship and characters. as always if anyone has specifics u want elaborated on or has smth 2 add i would luv to hear it

MY THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ABOUT OUTTAKES 16-18.5 BECAUSE I HAVE SO MANY

We have been blessed with 3.5 glorious new parts to the wonderful Losty Aone/ Mountain Man Series by the wonderful, amazing, awe-inspiring @shhhlikeme and i am emotional and have many many feelings about it all.

Outtake 16

I love that we got to see this from the reeader’s point of view, it was nice to see our losty y/n and see how their feeling. It was a nice break from feeling sad about Aone’s broken heart.

This part made me laugh ahaha

After dating and breaking up with him, Aone had females constantly approaching him. A/N: Not constantly but it felt that way for you ofc lol

the jealously😂, the Author’s note too like “it wasnt like that at all” 😂 this emotional person (y/n) is just blowing up the situation.

and then this:

In other words: They want what you had.

i mean of course they would, Aone is the sweetest boy but only to someone he loves. Aone’s heart is too strong to let waver to someone knew so quick

This whole outtake all i could think about was that Y/n really needs to get back with her mountain man, first they want to break up so Aone finds someone new but then doesnt want him to find someone new. Like cleary y/n is not being honest with herself or Aone.

When they went to the library, ahhh y/n really just imagining the worst scnenarios in their head😂

🥺🥺🥺 Aone is always such a cutie, and y/n really broke this man’s heart😭 I know it was insecurites but still. These two are so in love but just wont get back together.

The outfit y/n is wearing😍 you always pick these really cute and sexy outfits and I appreciate y/ns confidence and style but it is not me 😂😂 but Aone thirsting over his girl tho, i would dress up like that if it meant getting looked by Aone like that 😂

I love Aone’s plan, like he is such a sweetheart and he’s making me all soft at all his effort to win his girl back🥺🥺

This outtake really gave up all the feels y/n is feeling with breaking up with Aone and I am enjoing it 😂. At the same time though I just want these to love birds to get back together ahhhhh.

One of the things I really love about this story is how strong the friendship is and how we see the outside characters really show how much they care. A lot of stories (like shojou, oh man you dont know how much shoujo manga ive read haha) just sideline their friends after the start talking to their love interest or they dont even have friends at all in the whole story. I really enjoyed seeing Katana be a voice of reason in our losty’s life. And of course the K_nji’s being our boy Aone’s best friends.

Outtake 17

okay we starting with the real friends the K_nji’s warning our boy Aone about the situation. I love them and how much they care 😂. They can be dumbasses but still, I appreciate their effort.

The University—our University— sent her a uniform that’s a size or two too small.

Does this mean they’re going to the same university? or am I reading too much into it? It might have been mentioned before but I cant remember off the top of my head. Also Aone really living his best life and his worst life rn 😂😂 like he gets to see his girl in a super tight cheer leading uniform and spend one on one time with her but he cant do anything about his desires. His confidence tho haha “I’ve seen Y/N in a cheerleading uniform before” not like this you havent😏

Aone Takanobu can truly say—if he could speak—that he will never even question Futakuchi again.

Again I just really love their friendship, parts like this really get me 😂😂😂

When y/n took out Aone’s jacket automatically🥺🥺 my hearttttt, and how long Aone’s jacket is on them🥺🥺 this whole part made me so softtt. Like imagine wearing his jacket🥺🥺 it would be so comfy and warm.

There are so many golden lines I loved from this part, but Aone’s spank bank is just a phrase I wasnt expectng to read but it is gold. Im sure his bank is full and loaded😂

Then some random gross guy comes up to y/n, like the audacity of this guy.

He had such a disgusting grin on his face

Im absolutely swooning, Aoneeeeee🥺🥺🥺. And the fact that he wanted the reader to come with him so she wouldnt get anyone bothering her😭😭 he’s such a gentlemen. No one bothers Aone’s girl whose not his girl at the moment, especially guys who arent wanted

now onto the fun part of this outtake😏 I wasn’t expecting to see texts but it was definitely a nice addtion!! Our poor Aone soo horny and sweet, I dont know if the dead squirrels worked hahaha.

but he couldn’t help but wonder how he was going to edit all of this together in the time frame he promised he would with only one hand.

this went over my head when i read it the first time omg😂😂😂 Im sure Aone can do it, he’s a very capable man. This whole section had me laughing but also feeling slightly bad for Aone, again his poor horny heart right now is conflicted but very much fed. Im glad he was able to get a break, I dont think his length could wait (im not used to using subtle language hahaha) anyway this whole part was fun to read.

When Kenji had found out about why y/n dumped Aone😭😭😭😭 I’m glad he found out earlier then Aone, I wouldnt have wanted him to yell at the reader again.

Im just going to talk about my feelings for this part, but the whole confesson. I felt like crying, i feel like crying now reading it😭 it was just so beautiful. Like y/n explaing everything and saying Aone is the only man she’ll ever love. Throughout the series we really go to understand Aone’s feelings so deeply and how passionate he is but we didnt really get to see how y/n felt as much so reading this made me happy for Aone for the fact that his girl loves him as much as he loves her. They really were lost for each other, lost with out each other, but together they were

okay maybe im tearing up now😭😭

One more marathon to go and our happy couple can live happily. The fact that this story is nearly over is a little sad but I’m happy our losties found each other. Im thinking since the next parts will be the last I’ll talk about overall themes I liked and my favourite moments as well.

Im a new myday (hella late to the party tbh) so i dont know like anything about the guys. Can you tell me smths about them? Like Young K looks like hed be a player and Jae looks like a cute nerd tbh lol.. but i hear theyre not like that tho lol

lol oh my god !! they are like………….inhuman. I write so much about them but heres what I think the boys are really like:

young k: a big ass full ass crybaby but besides that, he’s such a smart, versatile and hardworking artist that really can do anything related to music and performance. for him to have been going to university pursuing a degree in business administration ALONGSIDE participating in the composition of their everyday6 releases is like……? you know that harry potter movie where hermione takes 15 classes or some bullshit like that n can only do so with this magical watch that helps her manipulate the time. that’s literally what young k does. he’s always so passionate about their music and has always been flooded with emotions during a lot of day6′s milestones. the mother figure of the band and always coos and actively responds to wonpil’s agyeo when everyone wants to murder him for it.

jae: always giving off the energy of a 15 year old teenager, but hiding behind the facade is a level headed, mature and thoughtful 15 year old teenager lmao !!! all the members have always said that he is a very straightforward person, never doing things with malicious intent. I personally think jae has one of the most stable and consistent vocals n his lives are always impeccable. that aside, a major, full…………tsundere. always saying he hates wonpil but turns around to compliment him, saying he has the most unique vocals in the band, how he’s very handsome regardless of how his hair looks. always learning and improving himself whether it be in music or in korean culture/language.

wonpil: exactly how he looks……. an eternal ray of sunshine, sirius A (the brightest star in the earth’s night sky aka the dog star, coincidentally wonpil is also born in the year of the dog so it makes sense.) similar to young k he loves to cry and will cry often @ a lot of day6′s events. he has always been extremely expressive about his feelings and being a type that will get his feelings hurt easily. just a plain sugar sweet strawberry doughnut that loves to joke around and scream and play with dowoon. someone that is physically impossible to dislike because he’s only ever crying or laughing theres no other side of him.

sungjin: the leader of day6, the holy lord of this universe, the cracker barrel cheese of cheeses (cracker barrel is my favorite and also the best cheese in the world). he’s always trying to keep up his image of being the tough man from busan but he’s a tender soul that has on many occasions said he’s been lacking confidence. yet, despite saying that he has always been filled with smiles and never shows ANY signs of feeling embarrassed when he does his weird ass dances. he’s always doing the absolute most for the enjoyment of my days whether its for pure entertainment or performance wise. one of the most visually spectacular people I have ever seen and he’s always a joy to look @ because he looks like the villager from animal crossing n we all know that guy is universally loved too.

dowoon: the mood maker maknae that the whole group takes care of, loves and compliments. he’s always speaking random shit that nobody ever understands but they still support him n encourage him nonetheless. always complimenting his hyungs and saying how talented they truly are so there are a lot of times where you can see dowoon in awe when his members sing. they in return always accuse dowoon of beating them up back @ the dorm lmaooooooooo !!!!!!!!!! he’s alike wonpil generally filled with smiles and if he’s not then he’s usually just staring into space lol he’s so cute. he’s still improving and learning all the time n his members are always pushing this kid forward. the future variety star of our century easy

since fred and fp were teens in the 80s how do you headcanon fred/fp interacting with billy/steve would play out

this is the best message im ever gonna be sent in my whole entire life wow

ok so billy and steve graduated in ‘85 and fred and fp graduated in ‘93 (ive been saying ‘92 this whole time but candyman came out in october of ‘92 so if fred and hermione saw it senior year that means they had to have graduated in ‘93 nobody asked for a history lesson but there ya go). so that gives them an 8 year age difference so like at most in the 80s fred and fp will be in middle school and billy and steve will be in their 20s by the end of the decade so what i propose is like a big brother type deal cuz listen….that would be the absolute cutest shit dont even start with me

teenage!fred is basically steve harrington like he’s gonna turn into the towns babysitter. and then theres the matter of all the baseball related headcanons for fred and steves signature item is his nail bat ?? fred finding it and being like “wtf is this for?” and steves just like “dont worry about it, kid”. does steve even like baseball? he does now. fred and steve are gonna go to baseball games bitch. steves gonna show him how to style his hair and get all fancy with it. theyre just a couple of soft bi boys ok and wow fred talking to steve about how he has a crush on his best friend and doesnt know what it means etc and steves like been there bro i feel ya and so he helps fred work through all that.

AND THEN WE GET TO FP AND BILLY WHICH IS GONNA BE FUCKING ANGST CITY LEMME TELL YOU !!! so by this point billy has settled and calmed down. he’s still got that fire burning just beneath the surface at all times but he’s learned to better control his anger and he’s just in general a happier person now that he’s gotten away from neil. and then you have fp. who, when billy looks at him, he just sees himself. all the hurt and anger he used to carry around with him. fps dad beats on him (imagine billy finding out and beating the shit outta him wow nice), hes poor, already a metalhead despite his young age (BILLY AND LIL FP SPEEDING AROUND IN THE CAMARO BLASTING METALLICA CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE CUZ I CAN !! also imagine billy sneaking fp out to some side road to let him drive his car wow…i love) billy just really wants to help this kid out, prevent him from turning into the monster billy became. fp seeing how in love billy and steve are, and fps been struggling with his own sexuality and unlike fred, he’s got a homophobic dad at home who throws slurs in his face without any proof that fp even likes boys so just imagine the fight that would ensue if he knew. he confides in billy and god billy just wants to protect this kid so bad. it physically hurts him how alike they are.

ANYWAY billy and steve take fred and fp under their wing, take ‘em to sports games and concerts give them hope that one day they can be as happy as billy and steve are in their relationship (lmao lets not talk about fred and fp getting 5 minutes of happiness in a romantic relationship before everything goes to shit) and just…..gay dads adopting gay sons this is the crossover i want and deserve

And man theyre my precious beautiful little babies and i can super vividly picture them honestly. Aghhggg thank you /)\\\\(\ ayyyyyy u know i gotta have the babes in there too. Ollie and Arthur are brothers in this so i designed them alike and Allen is a fae that's mated to Ollie sacredly. Which is like a BIG deal in this au because I've kind of thought of it as in the fae community since things are different than to humans that for instance polygamy is completely normal. So the reason Arthur's mother has children by different fathers is because essentially theres male fae female fae and intersex fae and any of them can fall pregnant or induce a pregnancy in another fae (excluding complications and infertility and suchlike). So in the fae community there's a safety in numbers and essentially those born to a parent with stay with them and build a network around their clan. And it is fully acceptable for a fae to fall pregnant by many different partners but it is seen as incredibly distasteful for a fae to impregnate multiple other fae. It's always been like this because love and sex and trusting each other are all seen as something natural and something that should be allowed to flourish at every opportunity, so Arthur's mother had Alistair, him, and Ollie with one fae (a commanding general to the king) Hong with another, Jet and Jake with another. And this has been positive for them as the Kirkland clan now has the protection of three seperate fae if they ever need it and they all protect the blood they share despite the seperate blood flowing through their veins. So whilst polygamy is completely accepted and encouraged for solidarity, there's another side to the fae, a side that says that soulmates exist, two people that are each other's missing half. And this is something sacred and divine and should not be tossed aside as it's a gift from the gods themselves. And Ollie and Allen are soulmates. Arthur is only a few months older than Ollie due to short fae pregnancies so they're always just seen as the twins for their similarities. And on their 16th birthday, Allen was introduced to both Ollie and Arthur as a possible suitor. Arthur and Allen hit it off straight away but then Ollie and Allen spoke breifly and Arthur just saw the look on Ollie's face and saw the twinkle in Allen's eyes and knew that they were meant to be together and not Arthur and Allen. And admittedly that hurt Arthur a lot. Ollie and Allen were married and mated by the following year and so utterly in love with one another, whilst Arthur neared 17 in fae age, when most fae married, without a suitor even looking his way and he knew that his mother was starting to panic at the lack of suitors. Arthur didn't really think he was ugly since fae can't really be but he couldn't help wonder if it was possible to just not be up to the same standard as everyone else around and if maybe he just wasnt meant for a suitor. And of course there's Alfred. By this point Arthur's seen Alfred a fair few times and feels like he could be in love but really if he couldn't even attract a suitor in the fae world then a human was a far more difficult trick indeed. And Arthur is so angry at himself because he knows that he's falling in love and that he's starting to want Alfred so badly but he has to keep his distance
