well its the seeds of an idea for a biker au..... gonna yap abt it under the cut :3

warning: i yap for a while.

So this biker au follows the story of a gang of bikers, and the group of mechanics that work at the shop these bikers always go to when they get their shit rocked.

The biker gang (at the moment) consists of Ash, Spoke, Roshambo, Squiddo, and Planet. They do trail biking, and often compete in official and unofficial races that can often result in injuries and broken bikes. Haven't named the gang yet but Spoke probably named it so they probably call themselves somsthing stupid like La La Legio— *gets shot*

These guys have been friends since highschool and are currently all attending college when not racing or at their respective workplaces. Their collective goal with racing is mostly to have fun, but Spoke and Ash in particular have some sort of beef with another couple bikers who they race often: Minute, Clown, and Leo.

Those three, the PMC (Poopy Motor Cyclists, as Spoke has dubbed them), are well known in the trail racing community to bike with reckless abandon, but they somehow always end up winning their races. Ash and Spoke don't like them. The rest of their friends think it stems from jealousy.

The thing about racing these guys is that Ash and Spoke are, more often than not, coaxed into also biking with less care and more risk than they usually would. They, however, are not as lucky as the PMC and often find themselves either injured or in the shop begging Parrot for a discount on the most recent repairs that need to be done.

Now, these mechanics. They work at a locally owned bike repair shop, founded by Mapicc's grandfather. Mapicc very recently inherited ownership of the shop, and is kind of struggling to find his footing as the guy in charge. His employees (who he pays very well don't listen to them when they say otherwise) are mostly all his friends who were looking for jobs.

Reddoons, Branzy, Parrot, Mapicc, Cube, and Bacon all work there full time, and a couple of them (Mapicc and Cube) even bike themselves when they have the time.

Roshambo and Mapicc have known eachother since diapers, so he's always gotten discounts at the shop. The rest of his gang has been not-so-subtlety trying to befriend the rest of the mechanics at the shop to also get access to this discount.

And basically, this AU follows the story of these two groups of people. How their worlds overlap, how they stay separate, and what they can learn from each other. Might sprinkle a little power of friendship in there for safe measure.

Parrot and Spoke have a little enemies to friends arc,

Reddoons learns to let go and grieve something he loved,

Branzy falls in love with the WRONG FUCKING BIKER,

Ashswagg finds it in himself to be devoted to something a little healthier than a one-sides rivalry

Spoke learns he doesn't need to do crazy things and get crazy hurt to be cared about,

Mapicc becomes more comfortable in his authority and abilities, learning not to compare his accomplishments with those of others,

Ash and Red fill missing pieces for eachother, offering comfort balanced with excitement and the feeling of loving something other than bikes,

Minute and Leo spend a LOT of time trying to find out who keeps giving Minute anonymous notes claiming to be his biggest fan,

and other fun shenanigans!!!

This would be a massive project to write but i really do hope i get there someday. I do really have a soft spot for Hot biker + the fucking IDIOT that fixes his bike

of course i have to start with clown he is like a bug to me and i'm putting him under a microscope

he is a BEAST. a CREATURE even.

aka he's from the void but no one except ash knows that

the deranged discord thoughts at 2 am said clown is from the void bc everywhere he goes he brings death. he kills. it’s what he does. he kills and he’s fuckin great at it. do you hear me. do you understand.

covered from head to toe in clothing to hide the fact he's from the void. there's a constant slight chill that surrounds him and it's only really noticeable when someone's almost touching him

he never lets anyone get that close anyway besides the occasional handshake or smth bc yeah anyone would be uncomfortable if someone was standing inches away from you. he plays off the cold hands with a poor blood circulation excuse if anyone asks

if he did show skin, his silhouette would be like a black hole where it's completely pitch black, and depending on the angle, he either appears 2d or 3d (very disorienting and unnerving)

this guy does not have a single stable relationship to fall back on. he allies with people for power and not for comradery, and it is So Hard for him to tear down the dozens of walls he keeps up around him because he often finds that when he does, he gets betrayed and left in the dust (mob anon from lifesteal headcannons i am thinking so hard about your submission)

plus it's hard for him to know whether or not this person is allying with him because he's The Deadliest Assassin Blah Blah Blah and they want that safety net/protection or if they genuinely want to ally with him

it takes him a long time to fully trust branzy, and even then he doesn't open up to him about his personal stuff

the mask stays On. Constantly. doesn't matter how much he trusts someone he will never willingly show his face

he and red have a friendly rivalry with the heart economy side of lifesteal, they're both competing for the title of strongest/holder of most hearts or smth like that

dude used to be a normal guy way way way way before lifesteal events n stuff but then he fell into the void and came back Wrong

basically instead of dying instantly, he survived for a little bit longer than usual, broke through reality, and saw that everything is just a simulation and everyone is just code, including himself

that fucked him up bad physically and mentally, and his left side is all glitched and void-like now (chronic pain coded)

dude is technically immortal but he never really tested losing all of his hearts yet

he knows that clown is from the void because he knows what the void feels like and is hypertuned to it, and to him, clown RADIATES it like a space heater. he can't stand too close to him and has to have at least one person's width between them. he hasn't confronted clown about it though because he knows when to keep his mouth shut

being close to the void for him hurts in an ocular migraine type way, but he typically pushes through it when he's down at bedrock level or in the end

he doesn't make stable relationships with people because he doesn't really see the point in them

in my head, lifesteal is this independent port city-state that was originally run by everyone and acted as a free, international trade center. zam is the crown prince of the neighboring territory surrounding the city, and when mob started gaining serious power, he charmed his way into working with them.

the deal he struck with mob is that if he wanted to join, lifesteal wouldn't be a part of zam's kingdom and all of his actions in mob were separate from his actions as the prince. it worked out relatively well for both of them: mob got a powerful ally with good political/funding power, and zam got to play hero and get involved with lifesteal politics

when mob fell, he initially respected their previous agreement where he wouldn't play prince in lifesteal, but when heart economics grew too unbalanced in his eyes, he decided to annex the city and then start the cleansing

nobody enjoyed zam annexing the territory, and especially not when his first order of business was to have everyone over ten hearts withdraw and bank them to evenly distribute to people with less than ten hearts

Clown - The defiantly very evil vampire, he keeps trying to kill people and then drag them off to his evil castle, will defiantly watch people for a while before doing anything, has a little tiny crush on someone who he manages to romance and convinces them to join him .. (He is very lonely and doesn’t know how to invite people over…) [Dracula-ish..]

Branzy - First to die, everyone was very sad until the saw him wandering about one night. People almost killed him by sealing his grave to prevent his entry but unfortunately for them he had already made a second safe area. He keeps trying to turn other people but it umm goes not well [Lucy but not kiled]

Rek - Branzy keeps targeting him but keeps failing because rek nows stuff about vampires and how to keep them out. He will eventually get got tho.. [Vanhelsing in a cringefail way]

Ash - second to die, Went wandering late at night for who knows why, Branzy got him immediately..

Red - Somehow failed to hear about Ash dying and invited him in… that ended about as well as expected…

Zam - He is fully aware of what’s happening but on one listens to him and he’s stuck watching his friends die around him helplessly, he will be the last to go…

(the rest of LS gets vampired at some point but i haven’t figured that out yet..)

thinking about branzy x clown x red x ash polyamory and how much comedic potential they hold. it’s basically 3 sillys x one guy who has no idea how he’s here. ash would be absolutely terrified of this relationship. mainly because he has no fucking idea how exactly he ended up in them. all he remembers is that he walked into casino one day and he woke up with three men in his bed and he’s too afraid to ask.  also red would be such a sugar daddy (not in sexual sense ofc). they are like incredibly rich with clown and branzy owning a casino and ash probably murdering people for money, but red just love giving gifts. it’s his love language so yes, ash, you have to accept this plane, he bought it for you, you ungrateful motherfucker. bonus: chief asking branzy to stop bringing more men into their polycycle. like, sure, clown was fine (mainly because chief was already married to him) but he doesn’t need another two scary dudes from lifesteal, it’ll give rek heart attack.

My brain is currently switching from Ls to q and it’s driving me up a wall

Like that wedding has so much angst potential but at the same time random new bonds and turns could have taken place, like in another timeline the idea that Simeon could have gotten either Parrot or Ash out of there is so possible.

Especially with the hate focused towards Pangi being the orchestrator of it all. Parrot attempting to hurt others but stopping after one attempt and then aiming at himself but letting loose on Branzy and most of his anger towards Pangi. Same with Ash as he literally chased Pangi down but then kept others out of it and solely blamed Pangi

There is so an au where that wedding burned into flames, Mapicc who found the wedding boring and was eyeing Pangi, the no killing rule while everyone took off their armour, Ash whispering to Red and Red saying he doesn’t have a choice to be apart of Ash’s day, Clown getting revenge on Ash regardless for the prior hits after-

Then when I think about the q server, each team just breaking and having a hard time with different problems, learning even though it feels like factions and anarchy they are still friends and having a hard time accepting anything. Green knowing their advantage and having a bad feeling, Blue believing they are equal and need to get dirty to win, Red breaking to the point of accepting the loss of any egg they had and searching for joy

The damn angst is skyrocketing and the potential for how certain players could react is so intriguing

Hi I'm gonna ramble about the LSsmp×TMA Au for a bit and nobody can stop me

Dualityduo was trying to make Zam the new Archivist because they didn't particularly trust Parrot at the time. Ro though he was gonna interfere with their plans because of his condition to Leo so wanted him out of the picture.

The institute was formally know as the L.I.F.E Institute and was passed down Parrot's family but after an "incident" the Leviathan Institute. Parrot was still the one in charge in the public eye but that was just for show.

Zam found out about Leviathan's plans only like 2 months after becoming and archive assistant and was on board with it. In reality they (Ro) were lying to him and after finding out he wanted out. But you know because the Eye shenanigans he could so you know what he did? THAT'S RIGHT! He shoved a box cutter in his eyes.

Zam decided he didn't wat taking any chance of beeing found out so he run and decided to live in an abandoned hotel far from town. Little did he know that was a hotel The Lonely so he basically just became part of it. He takes care if the hotel so more people find it appealing and willing go in it. So he is basically just feeding The Lonely.

Sopke found Bacon's book (the idiot left it in a library by accident) once and he thought it was funny so he made poopies and peepies. They now live under the Institute and everyone (except Spoke on occasions) is to afraid to do anything about them. (Cube got the book back and brought it to Mid, but she told him to give it back to Bacon cause he wasn't actually doing anything bad with it right?)

Bacon and Jaron were just waking around at night in a secluded are and they got swallowed by the moon and that's how they found Planet.

I said in my last post that Red was trying to get a thing of sorts for Ash (one of Mid's books). What I didn't mention is that he is also looking for an artefact known as The Egg and he believes Mid has it. So when Ash told him he needed one of her books he thought he would kill two birds with one stone so he agreed.

Subz created the Eclipse Federation as a way of fighting the eye because he thought they were pretending for a ritual. Needles to say he got way more that he bargained for.

At first Subz goes to Cube and Rek to get some answers but when they tell him the only possible ritual for the eye is nowhere near soon he gets Vitalasy and decide to go look for Zam, an archive assistant that went missing.

Clown and Branzy live in a small cottage very far from any towns or people in general. Clown used to be a known killer, killing anyone without any remorse. After killing Branzy the guy just,,, came back??? So Clown kills him again and again and again but he KEEPS COMEING BACK. After a bit Clown confronts him and they get,,, close,,, Blah blah blah character development blah blah. Clown swears to only kill out of necessity and agrees to move far away with Branzy. But ofcourse sometimes The Slaughter needs to be feed and how do you kill when you live in the middle of nowhere? Exactly, the guy that can come back to life. Let's just say Clown don't like those days.

i wrote a fluff fic yesterday. have not recovered. i am now tormenting my blorbos to make up for it.

There's a faint trace of muddied crimson staining jagged, broken stones; a trail of trampled crops leading his eye to the shadows beside the small decrepit cottage. In a time now passed, he'd used it as a landmark for where his real base is. But now… Carefully following the path toward left in the wake of a struggle, it's something he can recognize without so much as a second thought. This was a struggle, there was a fight that ended here, no doubt with hearts taken and ash left behind. Which means he'll have to relocate again. It sucks, he had just started to really enjoy being here, having that quiet space where he doesn't have to worry about the world. It means Branzy betrayed-- A quiet gasp cuts through the silence, disrupting any last thought he had, and making him reach for his weapon out of instinct alone. Stepping with more caution that maybe was necessary, he watches the slight movement in the shadows like a hawk. Until he recognizes the mess of white and purple and red half-leaning against the crumbling wall. Hears that familiar voice, strained and quiet, so filled with pain. "Clown?"

[long] U TURNED ON ASKS YIPPEE!!! hi i’m that recent anon, i love ur posts so much :))) thank you for everything, and the fic you linked was incredible! that facet of swagdoons in which red is so so painfully genuinely in true love with ash, under all the layers of power plays, through the real pain of each and every one of ash’s betrayals… i will die!!!! and thank you (& your friends) for posting about the casino quartet, i am soooo thankful for the introduction to the best polycule ever. one thing i love about the casino quartet is how clown and branzy are obnoxiously public (people know so many details that they really did not need to know) (hence people feel so confident that they’re genuinely devoted & reliant on each other that they’ll try to use one against the other) (prime example: the season 3 obsidian trap), while ash and red are obnoxiously private (no one understands what the fuck is ever going on between them) (no one knows how to manipulate their dynamic, no one can properly account for their incomprehensible relationship while trying to strategize) (prime example: boosfer’s phobias video). i like to imagine that clownzy are the closest people to the internal workings of swagdoons (they see the domestic arguments & the intimacy behind closed doors, listen to their private rants about each other, were present for some of the loaded swagdoons history that ash and red don’t even really talk about themselves). also i watched zam’s first stream of the hardcore smp yesterday [8/21/2022] and i find it so funny how ash will bring up clownzy and clown will bring up swagdoons. (ash announces he’s going to recite “the bible: part 2” and reads aloud a clownzy angst fanfiction; clown says in the middle of a formal meeting that red should sit on ash’s lap because they’re swagdoons). why are they always like this. and idk if you feel much interest in the latest season of the kaboodle smp but i’m really hoping for some clown x ash homosexualities, to fill out the casino quartet dynamics. as of now, we’ve got clown immediately showing vaguely gay interest towards ash, the mysterious teleporting guy in a suit who violently glitched into a server-wide campfire meeting out of nowhere. (clown: “ooh, who are you~?” ash, who otherwise doesn’t show interest in anyone or anything besides gaining riches: “…where do i know you from?”) (ash: teleports in, kills someone’s pet cat, teleports out. everyone, rightfully: WHAT THE FUCK?! clown: shocked delighted laughter.) (everyone is stuck unable to interact with ash, who keeps ignoring all conversation to ask for valuables. but clown swiftly catches on to ash’s rhythm and uses an emerald to try to bribe ash to follow him & tell him his name, as if ash is a cat. it somewhat works.) (after ash leaves, clown tells the others that he’ll “keep an eye on” the new stranger, who will be “safe in [his] hands”.) i watched this all go down from our beloved ivorycello’s POV [7/1/2023]. anyway uh. hiiii and thank you & all you other regular swagdoonsers on tumblr for the friendly reception :) i’m so excited for lifesteal season five plotlines. for some reason i’ve been Thinking about the intro to season 5 in which everyone gathers around in a circle waiting to start, ash sees this and places himself at the center to make an impromptu dramatic speech LOL, and red is the first to step in with him to tell him to go back to his spot. i’m choosing to imagine this as another instance of the god complex bf with enough power to back it up x the only guy who can rein him in and is bizarrely casual & familiar about it dynamic. ok i’m out ✌️ love you /p

(<- i remember i made a post responding to something i found on lsheadcanons about vampire!ash and human!red that Could be used for a metaphor about swagdoons and loyalty . something something about red Literally fueling ash out of choice)

anyways!! WELCOME TO THE CASINO QUARTET ENJOYER GANG!!!! they r my absolute beloveds, god bless. and you’re SO RIGHT clownzy would do so much pda in public and be all mushy (but in the Worst times possible . i am talking about mushy flirting while they are being chased down by the authorities while ash and red are screaming at them to stop and focus on running away. anyways) but i think?? you’re referring to the trap where branzy is held ransom by purple duo and heh as to get clown to “save” him? but yeah . they’re always so closely associated with each other that even in small things (ex someone in the start of s5 warning someone that branzy “knows a guy” in reference to clown) and since branzy is the “weaker” of the two tbh i’m not surprised if someone holds branzy for ransom again this season (i’ve heard whispers of them teaming up again this season so !!!)

but even though there’s been a lot of acknowledgement by other cc’s, there’s not any. record of someone taking advantage of their relationship yet? like you said the closest thing is the one of them is lying video but like, that video was arguably where swagdoons showed their trust the Most (esp with cheating during spilt or steal . that was SO them) but. yeah the way their relationship is very subtle . there’s no real massive declaration of love but small moments (which. i think why there’s SO many swagdoons clips that r just small gestures but swagdoons enjoyers still go BONKERS over <- big enjoyer of their streams for that reason) (and as a result i associate the song “no big deal (i love you)” by dodie with them . a lot of the one is about not verbally saying i love you but. yk. the love is still there and strong . love that song in general so <3) but Yeah i do also like the idea that clownzy r one of the Only people who see swagdoons be domestic with each other in full . something something about casino quartet being domestic and trusting each other so much here willing to stop all of the facade and be vulnerable with each other

but LMAOOOOO that hardcore stream goes so hard . the bible part 2 caught me so off guard when i watched it like LMAO????? it’s fantastic . also in that same stream zam is like “the bible part 3: ash nd red were walking down the street” and swagdoons are INSTANTLY shutting him down and telling him to stop (this is a recurring thing for some reason apparently zam mentioned swagdoons during vidcon and got hit with a ball i response but also zam did say swagdoons made out in the dennys so ???? idk anymore) but ooooo i didn’t know about clown mentioning swagdoons . maybe i should check that out (i was only skimming through the void so…that is something for me to check out)

and i am watching kemp rn too! except i am only watching from ash’s pov, which is. a time for sure. he has already made a deal with god and figured out how to exploit his glitching thing. but ash WAS looking at clown when he teleported into the campground and defrost was like O_O at clown so. tbh i’m kinda excited to see where they go since they might have a “hold up…do i know you?” moment (and if ur interested there is a fic of them …….clown and ash my beloved) (and here’s the clown and ash meowing clip if you so desire . this clip is the clip of All Time) but hearing what the rest of the conversation with the ksmp members afterwards is INTERESTING when i just watched ash teleport away and go “i hate it here’ LMAOOO ……..that is interesting of clown though……..i wanna see them together more ……like an enclosure

AND S5!!!! i am so excited for s5 of them …..idk who’s pov you watched but in ash’s pov he Did mention wanting to team with branzy, red, and clown SOOOOOOOO ………. <- he also said this last season and that didn’t end up happening . i am going off of copium /silly

Everyone on the server can sew to an extent, cause like when your clothes get torn by fights or traps or even unlucky creepers you aren't always guarantied to be on a team or even on good terms with someone who Can, and it's important to be able to fix it yourself you know?

However, out of everyone, the two who are best at it are actually Branzy and Red, both of whom also embroider!

Rek has so many embroidered flowers across his entire jacket from Echocraft days, when Branzy would steal it to embroider cute little flowers and butterflies and bees on it, and now whenever he's stressed he'll absentmindedly mess with them because its calming :] Branzy's never told anyone where or when he learned, but Clown swears that they look almost identical to the ones an old friend of his would sneak into his fighting outfit before and after they sparred.

Red learned from his Maze days, from Graeciee, because when you're in a clearing for years with nothing to do but drink and argue, you typically pick up a few busywork hobbies.

This is why Red also knows a billion other busywork hobbies like baking, braiding hair, different art forms like sculpting and painting, knitting, and the literal Best Possible recipes in the world. He would try literally every combination of foods and cook time and techniques until he discovered and memorized the Perfect way to make bread. Built different :]

(one time Red stole Ash's tie and embroidered a bunch of stuff into it, he pretends to be mad about it but secretly he only never wears it because he doesn't want it to be damaged and sometimes wears it to parties and other peaceful events)

omg . actually a lot of my Thoughts about them r au based but ^_^ i think while i am here i might as well share that they're named that is bc the idea of all of them working in a casino 2gether rlly caught on!! (this was mostly brought up by thegalacticbucket and things just sorta snowballed from there .)

anyways the fun dynamic between them is that red's a dealer + deals with the finances with clown, clowns the owner of the casino and manages the casino, branzy is there as eye-candy branzy is the shill aka he gets the games rigged for him so people r more inclined to gamble more bc he's winning a lot + he encourages them, and ash is the bartender! he has arm garters and makes drinks for all of them after hours

so dats the fun history lesson 2 why the 2 fics of them atm have 2 do w/ them working at a casino and chilling w each other and why they're called casino quartet ^_^ hope u enjoyed the Lore
