Screams in adult again
This time because it looks like moving in a few months might not happen and having to once again tell breeders 'not this litter' when you told them you thought you were going to be ready.
Sometimes I wish I was an unresponsible adult.

To the Highest Bidder (M)
Contains: Smut, Kim Taehyung x (f) reader, mild angst, rough sex, unprotected sex
Synopsis: All you had ever known was a life of mistreatment, but your life slowly changes when a new client makes his way into your life.
Tumblr media
The air grew thicker around you as you stood in line with the other girls, all bound and gagged with miscellaneous items. You were fortunate enough to just be gagged with a damp cloth while some of the other girls unfortunately had to deal with metal rods that were way too big for their mouths, stretching them to painful widths. You shuddered as the freezing air nipped at your bare skin, the only part of you that was being covered was your pubic area and nipples, thin black lingerie clinging onto you, feeling your nipples getting harder and harder as the minutes passed. “Listen,” A deep voice bellowed out to you and the other girls that were in the exact same predicament as you. Each of your eyes followed to the voice that came from a tall, stocky man dressed in a maroon suit and black tie, a small “A” resting on his lapel as he glared at each one of you, studying you to make sure you were ready to face his clients. “Remember what I told you. If you don’t do as we say and you are unable to make asking price, you will be punished and we will not stop until all of you are sold.”
“Every last one of you.”
As you looked down the line, you saw girls of multiple ethnicities, all of them looking about your age. Sadly, some of them were unlucky when it came to being sold in this sick business deal your new “employer” had forced all of you through. At least two of the girls were brandished with multiple bruises on their wrists, one had a puffy eye that you could tell was a black eye from when she had been struck for either not obeying the strict laws put forth to you all, or simply she didn’t get enough money. She was the first one to break down, holding her bound hands to her face as she wailed loudly into her palms, tears soaking her battered and bloodied knuckles from previous altercations. Your boss, clad in the maroon suit, saw this and immediately rushed over to her, gripping her wrists forcefully as she cried out in agony, begging to be let go and crying out something along the lines of, “No one should be treated like this.” The boss sneered down at her, hands flying to her hair as he shoved her back against the wall, hands still gripping tightly to her scalp, “No one cares what you have to say, you disobedient fucking slut. You do as we say and you don’t bitch. It’s your fault for not getting sold at the price we want so you will stay here as long as we get our fucking money, no matter what cost your body will go through, do you understand?” The battered woman shuddered at his touch and flinched away from him as she nodded slowly, choking back more tears that were forming and threatening to fall down her face.
From that point on, none of you spoke back to the boss except for the occasional yes sir and no sir when he asked you rhetorical questions regarding the clients and how this business was to be run. The business was quite simple, actually. You have absolutely no say in who you go to and what the client will have you do to them, or vice versa. You must comply with everything they desire and if word gets back that you have disobeyed your new master, you will have to pay with more servitude or worse; your life. Most of the desires of the clients were simply to do sexual favors for them, others were to just act as eye candy around their estate as some of them did have wives. You are never to leave them for the time of servitude you must endure and there is no guarantee on how long you have to stay with them. Some can be relieved in as little as one night, whereas some were to remain servants to their masters for weeks to come. You just wished you were lucky enough to receive the lighter sentence and only had to work as a maid or some form of eye candy without having to please any of them. But you had a feeling that wasn’t exactly why you were brought here. You were to be someone’s pet.
“Go on,” your boss said to you as it was now your turn to walk down the hallway and to your respective room, waiting to be bid on. He made it perfectly clear to you that you were to be on your best behavior and were supposed to make yourself look very “available”, whatever that meant. He held the black curtain to the side for you as you sighed lightly, looking down at your six inch stilettos that were anything but comfortable, hoping you wouldn’t fall on your face the minute you walked into the room to be put on display for the wealthy clients as that would surely bring down the value of your bidding. You finally got your bearings together in relation to walking with the stilettos and walked into the room that was dimly lit, completely void of anything comforting or practical for you. In fact, all that remained in that room besides the light fixtures was a circle pedestal on the floor, beckoning you to stand front and center in front of the mirrors that surrounded you on all sides. They were two-way mirrors, as you figured since there were no cameras in the room for the clients to see you. They would be able to see you, all of you, while you were rendered hopeless in seeing who you were to be sold to at the end of the night. That is, if you do get sold tonight.
Carefully stepping onto the white platform, you stood there silently, looking at yourself in the mirrors to see if you looked presentable. Your hair was done for you and your makeup was done a little heavier than you would’ve liked, but you had no choice in the matter of choosing your appearance tonight. For instance, you definitely wouldn’t have chosen the black lacy bustier that clung tightly to your chest, pushing your breasts up ever so slightly to show what you had to offer to your potential buyer, the matching thin thong wasn’t exactly your cup of tea either as it put your ass on display for everyone to see, and the black garters accompanying the sheer black thigh highs were just the icing on the cake. Luckily, you were allowed to wear a black satin robe for now to keep you from being so cold and allowing your nipples to stop being so perky in your barely there bustier. In the midst of you staring at yourself in the mirror, not really recognizing your reflection as yourself, the lights flashed brightly at you, causing you to squint your eyes together to protect your pupils from going wild to absorb the sudden burst of light. Instinctively, you grabbed at the tiny bow fastened around your waist, reluctantly untying it and letting the robe slide down to your ankles, kicking the robe to the carpeted floor as you awaited any further instruction.
The platform underneath began to turn slowly so that no client was denied looking at every angle of your body; from you supple breasts, to your plump buttocks and toned calves in those larger than life stiletto heels. You tried your best to keep from looking uncomfortable as it would surely hinder the clients from bidding properly, but it was really hard when the cold air was causing your nipples to tinge and goosebumps to ran ramped all over your body. “The asking price for our lovely subject here is:10 million dollars... a night.” The familiar deep voice rang out through the room, your jaw almost dropping open at such a steep price. You couldn’t even scrape together at least 10,000 dollars of your own, let alone 10 million. Although you couldn’t hear the clients contained on the opposite side of the glass, you could, however, hear the fast typing of the offers flying in to your boss’s computer until you only heard two distinct clacking of keyboard keys belonging to two different people locked in a bidding war for exclusive access to your body.
Fortunately for you, you didn’t have to stand on that platform for much longer since it was just the two clients bidding, but soon you heard one pair of hands typing and then silence. The silence was eerie as you could tell the other client was trying to figure out just how much money you were worth and if the current bid was worth increasing at all. You didn’t exactly know how much money you had earned through the bidding but it didn’t really matter since you weren’t the one getting any of it, you were the good being exchanged so your boss could continue his sick game of stealing girls from the streets and using them for sex trafficking sales. Although, you will admit, this is probably the safest way of doing business as you were only being sold to wealthy clients, not to some creepy guys that were on the streets willing to pay 100 dollars for a quick handjob on the side of the road. You felt sorry for those girls, but you still felt sorry for yourself and all the other girls that were forced into this sick game. “Congratulations,” You heard a voice come from behind you at the door with the black velvet curtains covering it. You turned towards the man holding the door open, smirking at you, “You’ve earned us five times more than asking price. Very good for you. You’re going to one of my most important and wealthiest clients. He’s been known to treat our girls very nicely.”
After the whole bidding process was over, you were allowed to change out of your risque outfit that was strictly for the bidding shows, but you were forced to be in another outfit that the agency had provided you. A black dress that hugged your figure magnificently, accenting all of your assets in a tasteful way to not be overly sexual, stopping just above your knees paired with slightly less smaller heels that had more width than that damned stiletto heel they gave you. You didn’t sit down or anything because you figured the process would be quick and you just wanted to get the whole ordeal over with, even if it meant bowing down to some old rich guy that just wants to fuck a younger woman just so he could get his rocks off on it. A scowl branded your face as you thought of who you would have to be with until you heard the door open and saw the man that you were forced to serve tonight, the scowl dropping immediately and almost opening completely to express your shock in how gorgeous the man in front of you was.
The man was dressed in a black suit that was tailored perfectly to his broad shoulders, the deep red tie screaming out desire as it hung loosely around his neck, the dress shirt underneath slightly unbuttoned to show the gap between his collar bones in the neck area, and his pants clinging tightly to his toned thighs. “Y/N,” Your boss started as he stood between you and the beautiful man with chocolate eyes and a mess of shaggy brown hair that was barely contained with his hair gel. “This is our highest bidder ever, Mr. Kim Taehyung. I believe I’ve made it perfectly clear what your orders are for your night stay with him, yes? Good. Thank you for doing business with us again, Mr. Kim. We look forward to hearing back from you and your situation with our subject of your affection tonight.” Taehyung glanced at you, looking directly at your scarlet lips and then back at your boss, nodding slightly, “I have a feeling she’ll be a delight for me. Thank you, Alistair.” With that, Taehyung walked over to you and slinked his hand around your waist, his hand resting dangerously close to your ass that was accented perfectly in that tiny black dress.
“So, I can tell this is your first time,” Taehyung said you as you two sat quietly in his lavish limousine, his hands gripping the glass of wine in his hand as his eyes explored you and your outfit respectively. As you felt his eyes resting on your breasts, you looked out of the window to hide your flushed cheeks, “Yes, it is. So I don’t exactly know what I’m supposed to do.” Your response earned a quick chuckle from the devilishly handsome man in front of you as he shifted to sit next to you, leaning over you to set his wine glass down. Taehyung then returned to look you in the eyes, his stare piercing deep into your soul as you could see they were overcame with a look of desire, “It’s simple, really.” In the midst of talking with you, Taehyung’s hands teased at the hem of your dress as he lifted it up with his hands, trailing up your knee area and sliding lightly up your thigh, you gasping as his hands came closer to your pussy. “You do whatever I want you to do. If you don’t not only will Alistair punish you, but so will I,” Taehyung warned as he slipped his hand underneath your dress and tugged lightly at the waistband of your thong, his hand then changing paths to hover over your pussy, gripping the cloth in his strong hand. Yours eyes widened as you turned to look at him, is eyes still staring you dead in yours as his lip nested in between his teeth, biting really hard as he teased at your underwear. The way he looked at you, filled with lust, caused you to become slick in your panties and he could feel it as the corner of his lips formed a smirk, “Getting wet for me already? We haven’t even made it home yet.”
As you two finally arrive at his mansion, Taehyung opened the door for you and allowed you to get out first, a gentleman really. Taehyung turned to his driver and nodded at him to park in the place he usually parks as he turned to you, licking his bottom lip, looking you up and down undressing you with his eyes. You just stood there, at the mercy of Taehyung and his wandering eye as he finally guided you to his front door, making sure to hurry when it came to getting the door unlocked so he can have his way with you in his bedroom. As much as you wanted to revolt at the idea of him fucking you just because he bought you for the night, you couldn’t help but to wonder how good he was in bed. What exactly did Alistair mean when he said he usually treated the other girls nicely? As in he was gentle or he left each of them a floundering mess on the bedroom floor? You would soon find out for yourself.
Taehyung slung you over his shoulder after he kicked off his shoes and brought you to the bedroom, you banging on his back as you weren’t ready to go to the bedroom until you were clear as to what he wanted of you, as if this weren’t indicative enough for you. Taehyung was not happy as you repeatedly banged your fists against his hardened back muscle, earning a swift but hard slap to your ass as it bounced next to his shoulder, “If you keep pounding on my back, I’ll show you a good pounding myself.” Finally you stopped banging on his back and laid like a ragdoll on his shoulders, taking on the form of what you would ultimately have to be for Taehyung tonight. A ragdoll, just laying there to be fucked by a man who had enough money to buy you.
As Taehyung entered his bedroom, he threw you down on the red sheets that adorned his bed and immediately climbed on top of you, much to your distaste. As you tried to force him off of you, Taehyung grabbed each of your wrists and pinned the down next to you, his strong hands cutting off proper circulation to your wrists, “Oh so you want to be feisty huh? Been a while since I’ve had to deal with someone like you. Usually the women I fuck are so eager to have my cock in them, they’re begging me to fuck them the minute I bring them home. But don’t worry, I’ll have you a begging mess just like the rest of them.” Taehyung kept your wrists at the side of your temples as he began kissing at your jawline, working his way lower and onto your neck, biting and sucking at the span of your neck. You could feel the hickies forming on your neck as Taehyung continued his very arousing assault on your neck, finding his way down to your breasts that had no bra to be found. Taehyung smirked as his eyes met with yours, hands still firmly grasping at your wrists, placing his mouth over your left breast and teething his way at your nipple and knew he found it when you let out a surprising moan. You didn’t know how, but the way Taehyung bit and sucked at your nipple through your dress felt so amazing, sending chills up and down your body.
When he figured you wouldn’t fight him off anymore, he released your wrists and continued to bite at your nipples to make them hard enough to poke through the black clothing while his other found his way up your thigh and rested on your clothed slit. With the hand at your slit, he tugged your thong down to the middle of your thigh and slid his finger over your sensitive clit, rubbing it with tiny circles that would occasionally get harder and faster as he heard the tiny moans escape your lips. His hand was beginning to be covered in your delicious juices as he stopped his attack of your nipples but made sure to continue to stimulate you where you needed it most, looking up at you, “Finally got you to stop fighting me. I know you want me inside of you so bad. I can feel it on my fingers.” “Maybe,” you teased at him as you bit your lip once you saw the growing bulge in his pants, his pants almost too tight that it was cause a painful strain on Taehyung’s lower region. Oh how you wanted nothing more than to just rip off those tight dress pants and underwear and have his huge, hard, throbbing cock deep inside your pussy. Taehyung saw the look on your face and glanced down at his bulge, smirking as he placed himself in between your legs and began to rub his thick member on your throbbing clit, a staggered moan escaping your lips as he did so. “Tell me you want me, baby,” Taehyung breathed out as he nestled his face in the crook of your neck, his teeth grazing your ear, sending another chill down your body. “Tell me you want me deep inside of you.”
You didn’t have the right mind to form words right now as the sensation from Taehyung’s dick rubbing with just enough friction to drive you closer to your edge, your actions speaking for yourself instead as you fumbled to get this damn dress off of you. Taehyung was surprised at your speed at getting the dress and your panties off so quick, but he didn’t mind as his eyes widened at the sight of your body underneath his. Your hands found their way to Taehyung’s belt line and tried to rip the belt off, but he stopped you momentarily as he looked in your eyes, “I need to hear you beg for it.” You usually weren’t the one to beg when it came to sex because usually the men were begging you to give it to them or at least trying their best to convince you to do it, but Taehyung seemed to be the only exception as the sinful words flooded from your lips, “Please fuck me, daddy. I need to feel your thick cock deep inside of me. I want you to make me scream. I want you to fuck me so hard that the only name I can remember is your name.” Taehyung’s lips formed an evil smile, “That’s more like it.”
In a matter of seconds, Taehyung’s clothes were all thrown to the floor of his bedroom as he hovered over you again, lips crashing onto your as your tongues wrestled with one another, Taehyung’s hand finding his way back home on your pussy and rubbing your clit violently now, trying to get you closer to that release you desperately needed. You moaned loudly into his mouth and Taehyung’s dick was pressed onto your stomach, the wet tip sliding onto your stomach as the tip was coated in precum, ready to be slammed into your needy pussy. “Taehyung,” You moaned out as he bit down on your neck, licking his way down to your collar bone. “I need it.” “Patience my pet,” he said as his fingers were the one to slide effortlessly in your dripping wet entrance, forcing out a guttural moan that you didn’t even know was possible, him quickening his pace inside you and rubbing mercilessly at your swollen bud. You were at the mercy of Taehyung and he knew it as his smirk dug deep into your neck, your hands burying into his dark brown hair, trying to hold yourself together before letting out another sharp moan, Taehyung joining you this time as you moaned in harmony with the other.
Taehyung finally stopped the onslaught of teasing and heavy foreplay when he picked you up effortlessly and flipped you on your stomach, picking your hips up and angling them just the way he liked it as he admired your plump ass, your glistening folds peeking through with the way he had you angled in front of his cock. Before he entered you, he took his tongue and licked lasciviously at your dripping folds, the taste of you coating his taste buds. You gripped a handful of the sheets as he repeated the torture two more times, Taehyung licking his lips, “You just looked so good I had to have a taste.” Without warning, he slipped his tip into you effortlessly, your walls guiding him inwards towards your core. You wanted more of him to be inside of you so you angled your body in a way you knew his cock could explore every inch of your tight walls gripping greedily at his member inside of you. His moans were like the most beautiful symphony you have ever heard as he began to pick up speed after he let you get used to him inside of you, stretching you out just the way you liked it, even if it were a little more than you were used to before. The pain was all worth it as he rammed his dick deep inside of you, gripping hard at your hips to pull you towards him as he thrust himself deep inside of you, you crying out his name in sheer pleasure.
“Whose pussy is this?” Taehyung grunted at you as his hips were slamming against your ass, your ass bouncing quickly against his v-line. You were biting your lip at this point but finally let go, a streak of blood coming out of your lip as you did so to answer his lewd question, “Yours, daddy. It’s all yours!” He rammed his cock deeper into you as a sign of approval, your eyes rolling in the back of your head as he finally began to hit your special spot just right. Oh god, you could already feel yourself becoming undone as he kept ramming that spot over and over again. He slapped your ass hard as he continued to thrust deeper into you, leaning over you and reaching for a wad of your hair, pulling you up to his face as he nipped at your ear, “God you feel so good. You’re taking my cock so well. Such a naughty girl, being a slut for her daddy.” The pleasure you were receiving in your pussy and the tingles from your hair being pulled just the way you like it were becoming too much for you as you cried out to him, “Daddy, I’m gonna... I gonna c-cum.” “Hold on for me baby,” He instructed as he let your hair go lightly and placed you where you could arch your back to impossible angles so he could feel you everywhere when you released yourself. And you knew how quickly it was coming.
As your ass bounced roughly against Taehyung’s groin, you could feel the coil in your stomach start to unwind, grabbing at the sheets next to you and burying your face inside that soft pillows of his bed. Taehyung’s hands were now gripping the headboard, that’s how deep he was inside of you as he thrust with all his might, trying to get you to reach your orgasm before him because he was adamant on you cumming first. “Cum for me, baby. I want to feel your walls tighten around my cock,” He groaned out at you, his thrusts becoming more and more sloppy as you could tell he too was reaching his climax. Luckily for him, he didn’t have to wait long as you arched your back one last time to allow your body to reach your orgasm, feeling your walls clench around his cock and coating your walls with more lubrication for him to finish inside of you. You screamed out his name, saying it over and over like you were praying to him, some of the times you screamed his name becoming muffled in the pillow as your legs had given out from keeping you up for Taehyung to ram his cock deeper inside of you. “Y/N! I’m cumming!” Taehyung roared as he thrust the deepest he had ever gone throughout the whole night, his hot white cum shooting out of the tip and mixing with your bodily fluids, filling you to the brim with his cum and coating the both of you with it.
Taehyung was still inside of you as he thrust a couple more times to help you and himself ride out your highs together, you still oddly chanting his name into the pillow as he was the only one to allow to you release this hard in your life. Taehyung collapsed on top of you, his chest glistening with sweat as he relaxed on you, rubbing your back to ease the pain you might have from having to arch your back so outlandishly to get as much contact you could with that oh so talented organ of his. Minutes later, when he realized you had calmed down and your breathing was back to normal, he pulled out of you and allowed the lewd mix of your fluids to fall onto the sheets in a thick, white pool. He had some napkins on the nightstand and began cleaning up as you relaxed your body and laid face down into the pillow, barely being able to speak to him, “That was... So amazing.” Taehyung looked at you with a boxy smile, laughing a little at your comment, “I thought so too... How much money would it cost to have you... do that with me for a long time?” A smirk formed on your face as you thought of a dollar amount that could buy you for that long, maybe working in a little discount here and there for him and only him.
“After that performance, it’s on the house.”

ProphetFX (Prophet Enterprise Limited), TradehuntFX, FrontLineFX are scammers - here is the irrefutable evidence
Tumblr media
If the article wasn't enough - this is. Truth always finds a way and here it is. This is irrefutable evidence on how they are gaming myfxbook, false advertising, lying and committing serious fraud. These are not allegations/accusations - this is sold fact. All of this information has been copied, saved and stored offline away from harm, away from me and for the authorities to view/use. I know that Prophetfx will delete this and any record/evidence as soon as this post goes up. You will have read in the main article that I have a great deal of experience in MT4 and using Myfxbook. Well I knew that Myfxbook is a notoriously poor product. I knew that Metatrader 4 can be gamed - either via the MT4 broker server scam or by people using demo accounts. In this case ProphetFX are using a real account. Edward Elford had locked down the account so the only data I had to use was the Trade Summary. It wasn't enough data.
Tumblr media
ProphetFX Myfxbook - https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Edward4x/prophet-fx/3173819 This took some extra investigation to work out how and what ProphetFX are doing. Luckily, in their stupidity - they left one of their accounts open. Here I am able to show you what and how ProphetFX are false advertising, lying & committing serious fraud. If you look at the TradeHuntFX Website Myfxbook page - look what you see...
Tumblr media
https://www.tradehuntfxmentorship.com/tradecopier-autotrading/ This is from the https://www.tradehuntfxmentorship.com/tradecopier-autotrading/ page What is the ‘TradeCopier’? The TradeCopier facility is an empirically proven and exhaustively tested system that mirrors Forex trading activity from our master account and places trades onto your account. This enables consistent and incremental account growth to all connected clients. How does it work? The system carefully analyses market movement and volumes within any given pair we are trading. If price moves against us in one direction, the system will begin a process to ‘hedge’ itself out of that trade and close with a profit. The exact system methodology is of course confidential, but the full results from the TradeCopier past activity are available for scrutiny. How much profit can I expect each month or average over a year? Our month on month target growth is circa 15%-20%, some months may be less, and others more. Forex accounts do not grow by an identical amount each month but our past results do demonstrate consistent growth over a rolling period, which is our core aim. All TradeCopier clients see the exact same % increase, no matter if you have a £1,000 account, or £100,000. How much does it cost? There is a small monthly fixed charge and then a profits based % commission charge. However for THFX members we have removed the charge and the commission charge is reduced to 30%. Non members are charged £10 a month with a 45% commission charge. Billing is completed at the end of each calendar month. You then have 7 days in which to settle your bill. Failure to settle your account will result in it being disconnected. How much can I lose? The maximum drawdown that has been recorded is 7.8%, but this does not mean that higher drawdown will not happen, this is not something to be concerned by. This is just how the system operates, in fact it soon recovered after this. The market is very unpredictable at times, we have carried out extensive amounts of back testing and have never lost an account to drawdown/market conditions. Please refer to our full risk disclaimer. When can I withdraw the profits? You are able to withdraw at any stage you wish, however there are times when it is not advisable to withdraw such as when there are live trades open. All we ask is that if you wish to withdraw it’s always best to speak to Edward first. Please ensure you are able to make the due commissions payment based on the profits so far. Otherwise you will be disconnected. Who can handle my funds? Funds are held in your own IC markets account and only you are able to with withdrawn or move them. We will never ask for your Broker account log in details ever. We only need your MT4 trading account details so that we can link your account to the TradeCopier master account. Individual trading account log in credentials give us ZERO access to your personal funds. What about a large unexpected market movement? Our exposed risk is so small that even during large moves we are not reaching high DD. 300 pips the otherway and we are around 7% DD, so it’s totally within out risk settings to be able to deal with a 500 pip spike or market crash. ok what about the actual underlying myfxbook page.... Well it is here https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Benllay/tradehuntfx/3329055
Tumblr media
TradehuntFX Myfxbook - https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Benllay/tradehuntfx/3329055 What do you notice? It is the VERY SAME red line and yellow line (we are told its an EA, the yellow line confirms its the very same underlying data) - but what is the glaring difference? - That huge line up on the ProphetFX chart. What could it be I wonder? Well again, the very helpful idiots of TradeHuntFX have left Myfxbook fully open. Look what I can do...
Tumblr media
If I change the Custom Analysis start date then I can make huge gains in Myfxbook Ok, but what is that huge line up on the Myfxbook graph though? Well lets have a look at the underlying data on the TradeHuntFX for that date from Myfxbook....
Tumblr media
This is the underlying data from TradeHuntFX Myfxbook (remember the very same "EA" that ProphetFX is)... Oh Fuck guys and gals what is that????? That is them gaming MyFxbook results. They are withdrawing and depositing to game the Growth graph. Note aspects of Myfxbook are locked down on both ProphetFX and TradehuntFX so you cannot actually see what is going on? Well as above - they TradehuntFX Myfxbook has elements left open. We can see in the excel sheet data that they are withdrawing and depositing to show huge gains. In the case of Edward Elfords ProphetFX Myfxbook you can see this is how he has created a massive 426% gain from September 16th 2019 - September 20th 2019. This is done by ramping up winning trades then withdrawing money from the account so it looks like you have had a massive win - clever huh? Yes, except when you are selling off the back of this. This is fraud. Pure and simple. It gets worse because we have already seen in the literature from ProphetFX, TradeHuntFX & FrontlineFX that this is risk averse and no major drawdown - so what do you also see in the data? HUGE DRAWDOWN. ACCOUNT BUSTING HUGE DRAWDOWN.
Tumblr media
Look at the state of this. It was so bad they had to fund the account.
Tumblr media
Trade was so bad and went into drawdown so deep they had to fund the account. So there you go - Drawdown was so bad they had to fund the account. Yet another dimension to the level of fraud committed by ProphetFX, TradeHuntFX & FrontlineFX. So to recap; 1. The Myfxbook graph is lies by gaming the growth graph and use of it as sales material is false advertising & committing fraud. 2. Hiding true trading results is false advertising & committing fraud. This lot thought they were untouchable - their stupidity has exposed them for who they really are - fraudsters. Read the full article

Arplis - News: “Everybody knows that pestilences have a way of recurring in the world, yet somehow we find it hard to believe in ones that crash down on our heads from a blue sky
There have been as many plagues as wars in history, yet always plagues and wars take people equally by surprise.” — Albert Camus, The Plague Time is cruelly elastic. When March began, Joe Biden was celebrating the resurgence of his presidential campaign after a win in the South Carolina primary. When March began, downtown Atlanta was packed with marathon runners, while the Hawks were, reliably, scraping the bottom of the Eastern conference. When March began, we were going to restaurants, and to school, and to soccer games and concerts and plays and funerals and weddings. When March began, we were going to work. When March began, dozens of Georgians were walking around with absolutely no idea that within a matter of days they would be dead from a virus that had traveled across the world only to alight on them. How many more of us will step into its crosshairs? Each day feels like a month. So much news is compressed into 24 hours—thousands more infected, ICUs at capacity, unemployment rates reaching heights not seen since the Great Depression, our 401ks decimated—that our brains seize up. Grocery store visits are planned with the precision of a wartime raid. Kids’ days are ostensibly scheduled—Reading! Enrichment! FaceTime with the teacher!—but how do you homeschool and telework at the same time? You don’t. The screens you once cursed are now free childcare. That’s, of course, if we even can work from home. Some of us can’t. Many of us have been laid off or furloughed as restaurants close their doors, as nonprofits’ funding dries up, as fitness studios go dark. Others of us who have been deemed “essential”—nurses, doctors, first responders, grocery-store workers, mail carriers, truck drivers, delivery people—come home late at night and shed our clothes outside so as not to bring the virus near our loved ones. This wasn’t supposed to happen. This was guaranteed to happen. But to us? Now? We spoke with our neighbors about the world we’ve left behind, and the one that awaits. Interviews edited for length and clarity. Tap on each person’s name to read their full interview. • • • Dr. Michelle Au | anesthesiologist at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital I first started hearing about the virus after Christmas. But the news still felt like something distant. It was in China, so you’re watching with this detached interest. I am in the unusual position of being a Chinese American physician with a public-health degree who also happens to be running for office [Au is a Democratic candidate for the 48th state Senate district, which incorporates parts of Fulton and Gwinnett counties]. I was talking with voters in the Chinese community who said that I should be speaking out on the issue more. I probably should have paid more attention. I should have taken it more seriously. Dr. Meria Carstarphen | superintendent of Atlanta Public Schools Right after Valentine’s Day, one of my friends was going to Venice, Italy. While my friend was there, they shut down Carnival [due to coronavirus]. That was my reality check. I said to our team, “We need to prepare for the day when we have to shut down the district.” There were moments where I felt I was pushing a wet noodle up a mountain. As things started escalating, we had to make decisions. I said, “We have to prepare a contingency plan that starts with the worst-case scenario.” Devon Clinkscales | senior at Booker T. Washington High School This year was my senior season of high school baseball, my last year. I was really excited about going out strong and getting ready for travel ball. It was my best opportunity to get some scouting. Hugh Acheson | owner of Empire State South in Midtown and 5 & 10 in Athens and operator of By George in the Candler Hotel The real canary in the coal mine was [in early March], reading about restaurants in Shanghai. Shanghai to Wuhan [where the virus is said to have originated] is an immense amount of distance. [Restaurants in Shanghai] were saying that they didn’t know how long they could stay open. Their sales were down 80 to 90 percent, and it was just a ghost town. We’re not an industry with deep pockets. Everybody’s like, “Oh, Hugh, you’ve been on TV. You must be rich.” I’m like, “You have no idea how this works, do you?” Kathy Weeks Lowery | self-employed travel agent in Marietta [A client] was supposed to leave on March 28 out of Tokyo for a 12-day cruise. That was her son’s college graduation gift. Holland America held tight. They said if she cancels now, she’s losing 50 percent of her money. That was January 24. Travel insurance doesn’t cover a pandemic. Since then, they canceled the cruise and gave her the rest of the money. Cruise lines are offering as much as 225 percent of your refund toward a future booking. For me, it’s been everything. I had 117 kids going to D.C. for a field trip, 10 people going to the Grove Park Inn, a busload going to Mary Mac’s and Hamilton. All canceled. I only get paid after clients travel. I figure this year’s income will be 20 percent of last year’s. Amy Phuong | vice president of government relations for the Atlanta Hawks My wedding was set for March 28. We had everything planned. I even had a final walkthrough at the venue on March 4. We’d invited 200 people. Mike Gallagher | co-owner of Brick Store Pub and Leon’s Full Service in Decatur, Good Word Brewing in Duluth, and partial owner of Kimball House. Together, the four restaurants employ approximately 200 people. 2019 was a tough year. We had opened [Good Word Brewing]. The contractor had gone belly up when we opened. We lost our chef and sous-chef. We had a lot of money invested in Duluth. But 2020 was starting great. We’d put down a sizeable amount of money on a redo of Brick Store. On February 26, after seven years running the pop-up restaurant Eat Me Speak Me, Jarrett Stieber opened his first permanent restaurant. The build-out took months. Jarrett Stieber | chef-owner of Little Bear in Summerhill We had inspectors tell us we had to change things, and we covered the cost. So, like every restaurant, we ran way over budget. We opened with $285 in our checking account after buying products for the first week and just prayed that we were busy. We, thankfully, were. On March 2, five days after Little Bear opened, Governor Brian Kemp announced the first two confirmed cases of coronavirus in Georgia—two members of the same household in Fulton County. Nationwide, only 90 cases had been confirmed, six of whom were fatalities. “Georgians should remain calm,” Kemp said. Stieber We had one customer who said that she couldn’t believe that a place like Little Bear was here, that it reminded her of restaurants in San Francisco. That’s exactly what I had in my head when I planned this restaurant, that small-capacity hole-in-the-wall that basically is a neighborhood restaurant in terms of how it feels but has food as good as any high-end restaurant. We were hitting our stride. Jarrett Stieber: “My focus is keeping the business open any way I can.” Photograph by Audra Melton Clinkscales On March 2, we were evicted from our apartment, but they didn’t change the locks. If they’d changed the locks, we’d have nowhere to go. Our stuff would be out on the street. My dad and my mother had a couple of disagreements on how to maintain. I have an older sister who has an apartment in a project, so my mother, my other sister, and my niece all moved in with her. But I stayed with my dad. He didn’t finish high school. He needs someone. He doesn’t understand how things work. I love my dad, and I have to be with him. Belisa Urbina | founder/executive director of Ser Familia, a nonprofit that provides services to Latino families My husband’s family is from Spain, so we knew what was going on there. We knew what was going on in other places. I knew that if this was happening in all these other countries, it was going to happen to us because we are connected. Flights are coming in and out. People are moving around. Shawn Ware | owner of Vibe Ride cycle studios When the news about the coronavirus first came out, I was taking a break at home, between working at the Westside studio in the morning and Grant Park in the afternoon. I thought, Okay, well, this is just a flu. I’ve always been a gym rat, and I’ve always joked that I’ve been a germophobe since I was in the womb. I’m always washing my hands, using hand sanitizer. I thought, So, now you all are jumping on board for what I’ve been doing my whole life? But then, as the hours and days went on, I realized this was serious. On Friday, March 6, President Trump, wearing khakis, a windbreaker, and a Keep America Great baseball cap, visited the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta for a photo op and press conference, where he referenced his “natural ability” at understanding the complexities of virology and addressed the sluggish pace of testing for the virus. What he said wasn’t even a complete sentence: “As of right now, and yesterday, anybody who needs a test—and that’s the important thing.” While other countries were ramping up their tests to include even those who were asymptomatic—results which indicate who is contagious and who is not—the United States was (and as of late March remained) unequipped to test any but those suffering the most extreme symptoms. By Monday, March 9, the number of Georgians who’d tested positive for the virus had climbed to six, with 11 more presumed positive. Kemp announced that space at Hard Labor Creek State Park in east Georgia would be outfitted to accept COVID-19 patients who needed to be isolated. Phuong Even that week [of March 9], I started out feeling like, Okay, our wedding is so soon there’s no way it’s going to be impacted. Even though Italy at that time had made a turn for the worse, [my fiance] Kerry’s family is from Spain, and we felt good because they weren’t impacted the way Italy was. Then, we got to Wednesday, and that’s when it dramatically switched. That’s when the Hawks had their final game. That was the same evening that Trump instituted the travel ban from Europe. Kerry’s family would not be able to make it. Carstarphen The day when I said to my fellow superintendents that I’m considering closing the district even though we don’t have any cases—that was a bit of a shock. Even to myself. I work with children. So, the idea that I would even put on the table this notion that they might not have a prom, they might not be able to play for the state championship, they might not be able to get closure after 12 years of public school, that their moment gets snatched away from them? It’s sobering how your decision can change the direction of people’s lives. Dock Hollingsworth | senior pastor at Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church Wednesday, March 11, was a turning point. We were here for the Wednesday night services. There was still a lot of levity. A 94-year-old man came up to me and said, “Boy, I was relieved that this is targeting people 60 to 80 since it’s been so long since I was 80.” By Thursday morning we were in a whole different mode. I was in a peer group with other Atlanta pastors. Everyone was asking, “What measures are you taking?” Keisha Lance Bottoms | mayor of Atlanta I went to Sam’s Club on Thursday. A woman asked me what I was doing there. “The same thing you’re doing.” I have four kids at home. My husband makes grocery runs on his way home from work. But I knew we needed to stock up with a family of six. I’m now cooking three meals a day. But my personal adjustment pales in comparison to what’s happening. People are dying. Urbina We provide services to about 4,500 people. The services that we provide are very difficult to find. To give you an idea, there are 700,000 Latinos in metro Atlanta but there are less than 70 counselors who are fully licensed that can speak Spanish. There are four psychologists in the state of Georgia who can speak Spanish, and there are five psychiatrists who can speak Spanish. Latino children have twice the chance of having anxiety and depression compared to other teens. Our Latina girls, almost 20 percent of them attempt suicide. Joey Camp | cook at Waffle House in Canton who also drives a party bus part-time I started getting pneumonia [in early March]. I felt like I was drowning. The chills had gotten so bad that I could not keep my teeth from chattering. If my teeth weren’t chattering, I was coughing. [On March 12,] I went to the emergency room. They did all these tests—a CT scan with contrast, x-rays, everything. They were like, You got really bad pneumonia. We’re going to put you in a room and monitor you for a few days. Well, I was in there for probably nine hours when they hung the isolation box on my door. Which is where they keep all these gloves, smocks, and masks that everybody has to put on before they’re allowed into the room. I got a little nervous.   Photograph by Audra Melton Phuong It hit me Friday night. We’d been planning so long, and now, our wedding is not going to happen. It was emotional. Dr. Laurence Busse | medical director, critical care, Emory Johns Creek Hospital On March 13, it was profound the amount of people coming into the ER. That was a scary day, and we all finished that day thinking, What are we in for? Dr. Jessica Nave | hospital medicine, Emory University Hospital I was hoping that, by early April, we’d peak. But now, my projection is we’ll peak at the end of April. And that’s still optimistic. It’s just the numbers. If you look at Seattle and New York, they’re still going. We didn’t start getting cases until the second week of March. We have to have a solid month of getting hit really hard before we peak. Marshall Rancifer | homeless advocate and relief worker There are 4,000 homeless people out there on the streets. Youth and adults. Homeless people share everything: food, clothes, hygiene products, blunts, crack pipes, needles sometimes. I brought a bunch of crack pipes to them so they wouldn’t share pipes. Some don’t know there is a virus outbreak in the city. They don’t have access to social media or the news. If you’re not in a shelter, you’re walking around in suspended animation all day. I saw people starting to light cigarettes and pass them around. I knocked the cigarettes out of their hands. I said, “You can’t share cigarettes, can’t share food, don’t touch nobody, don’t shake nobody’s hand. Don’t hug nobody.” Had to explain to the mothers in a park on Proctor Street what they can and can’t do. We’re not just educating the homeless; we are educating poor people and marginalized folks. They just don’t know. The weekend of March 14-15 was surreal. Social media and television were talking about nothing else, and school districts across the state, including Atlanta Public Schools, were announcing or had just begun indefinite closures. But for many Atlantans, life went on as normal. Bars were full. Restaurants were open. The BeltLine was packed. At Brick Store in Decatur, the owners decided to go ahead with a planned St. Patrick’s Day celebration, which included a short parade to the bar, scheduled for Saturday. Their decision, announced on the bar’s Facebook page the day before, brought out the knives. “You are encouraging people to make a very selfish decision,” wrote one of the more restrained commenters. “Public health providers are telling us to behave AS IF WE HAVE THE VIRUS, because many of us likely do.” Gallagher Calling it a “parade” is a stretch, because there were about 15 to 25 people. There were more people congregated in front of retail stores than there were in the parade. But we did it, and we had our event. We removed some tables. We put some tables spread out outside. We removed some barstools. I think people were clustering with whom they felt safe, their own household member or a family member, and then they spread out otherwise. It wasn’t six feet apart in the whole place, for sure. But our staff was militant about sanitizing bartops, tabletops, stools, chairs, menus in between their reuse, faucets. I got a lot of feedback from staff and guests about how meaningful it was to them and how they viewed it as a beacon of hope in an otherwise bleak moment in time. So we certainly got a lot of great feedback. But the bashing on social media was unfortunate and unnecessary, quite frankly. Carstarphen I always believed we would be here at mitigation—not prevention, not containment. Mitigation was probably the only way we’d go given the spirit of our country, given we’re a democracy, given that people love their personal freedoms and their individual decision-making. Stieber This is the first time that social media and the general public have been able to kind of force people’s hands in a business sense, beyond just what is recommended from a health standpoint. We live in an era where people are so polarized and proselytizing of everything from behind their screens that whether you want to stay open right now, to fight for your business, you don’t really have much of a choice because of the stigma associated with doing so. As new restrictions kept restaurants from opening to guests, they pivoted to takeout operations. They started GoFundMe accounts for furloughed staff. At Brick Store, owners reduced their menu to soups and sandwiches. Donations to the “soup kitchen”—meant to compensate workers—were encouraged, but if you couldn’t pay, you could still grab a bag. Acheson My real worry is for all the people that I promised to provide for and can’t. That’s very hard, because I want on my tombstone to be remembered as a good employer, and a good human, and a good dad. The people who are going to get hit worst by this are undocumented. It’s not like we have a huge number of them on the payroll, but across the country, there are. They can’t get unemployment. They pay taxes through payrolls, but they don’t get taxes back. They are screwed. But we’re all screwed. Everybody’s like, Well, we’ll recover. No. Fifty percent of the restaurants that just shut down across this country will never reopen. Gallagher Most restaurants are lucky to have two full weeks’ worth of financial runway, and employees, probably even less. A lot of these guys are paycheck-to-paycheck. We are taking the money from the GoFundMe, the money from the gift cards, and any additional monies that have been given, and we’re divvying them up among staff on this upcoming payroll. We’re going to try to find an hourly threshold. For instance, if you worked 24 hours or less, you’ll get this pay rate. If you’re 25 or more, you’ll get that pay rate. We felt that was the most equitable, least cumbersome way to do it. I’ll be honest, it was tough. Do you pay more because they make more? Do you pay more because they need more? Do you pay more because they worked with you longer? Acheson I’m really happy that people are buying gift certificates. If we sell $2,000 of to-go food today, I’ll be impressed. That does not equate to being able to pay $16,000 in rent next month that Empire State owes and payroll costs of $44,000 every two weeks. Urbina Our community works in hospitality, restaurants, construction. Those are the first industries that are affected. We have already had clients who have lost their jobs. They know that they’re probably not going to be able to pay rent at the beginning of April. While most coronavirus infections don’t require hospitalization, roughly 15 percent do. Usually, though not always, the person needing hospitalization is elderly or immunocompromised. The infection ravages the lungs, leading often to pneumonia. Patients can’t get enough oxygen on their own. Some require a ventilator, a machine that augments the patient’s respiration through forced exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide. Busse I’m critical care. So, when patients get to me, they’re in dire straits. The typical thing that’s seen down in the emergency room is fever, some increased work of breathing, some hypoxia [low levels of oxygen in tissue], and some malaise or body aches. Those folks who have, let’s say, a little bit of increased work of breathing or need some oxygen would be admitted to have supportive care while they get through their illness. But if they have a higher degree of oxygen needs or they’re in septic shock or they’re in kidney failure, then they come to me. And those folks can be exquisitely ill, anywhere from just needing a few extra liters of oxygen to having multiorgan failure and needing a full bevy of life support. Dr. Laurence Busse: “When patients get to me, they’re in dire straits.” Photograph by Audra Melton Nave Sometimes illness is difficult to define by objective measures. We’ll get a call from the ER physician saying, “I think this patient needs to get admitted.” I’m looking at their chart and saying, “Well, they’re not hypoxic, they’re fine.” They’ll say, “Just come and lay your eyes on them.” So, I do, and it’s, “Oh yeah, this person is not going to do well.” They have a look about them. Their breathing pattern is abnormal. They’re using more accessory muscles. Au The act of intubating a COVID-19 patient is essentially the highest-risk procedure you can do. As you’re putting in that tube and they’re breathing out through this channel you’re putting in, it gives an opportunity for the virus to be in the air. Usually, it’s in droplets. Aerosolized virus can float around. It’s one of the most infectious potential procedures you can do on a COVID patient. The person who is best and most senior and experienced at doing intubations should do it. They take the least amount of time possible. Put in the tube, quick, hook up the ventilator, and minimize exposure to everyone. Nave Some of our sickest patients have been in their late 20s to late 30s and otherwise healthy. We don’t know why. Camp On Saturday [March 13], they tested me for COVID-19, and I got positive affirmation on Monday. How in the world did I get this? I have not been to Italy, I haven’t been to China, I haven’t been around people, to my knowledge, that have been to those places. I live a very boring life. When they finally told me on Monday, they also released me from the hospital to self-quarantine. The house I was living in had an infant in it. I didn’t want to take the chance of getting that infant sick. So, I was like, “I need options.” Camp was brought to Hard Labor Creek State Park and put in a camper to recuperate until he was no longer contagious. He was there for six days. Camp It had a nice bed in it. There were cookies. The state health officials were super helpful. I asked them to go on a grocery run because a diabetic cannot live on chips and cookies. And they went and got me some bananas, some apples, some cucumbers—all this stuff for me to snack on. I offered to pay for some of the stuff, and they wouldn’t have it. They paid for my medicine. They got me a new blood-sugar meter. The first few days were rough. The coughing was the worst part at that point. I had stopped having chills, I had stopped having a fever, but I was still coughing my brains out. It was like starting a car. Just whoop, whoop, whoop, just constant. And it just slowly went away. One day, I was coughing every three or four minutes; the next day, it was every half hour; the next day, it was every hour. And by the time I was done, I was only coughing very, very rarely, when I got a tickle in the back of my throat. It wasn’t even in my lungs anymore. Au We know that some of the sick are going to be our colleagues. We know that the more we are going to engage, the more people are going to be sick. Over the weekend, I started sleeping in the guest room in the basement because it’s separate from the rest of the house. I have my own bathroom because I don’t want to share a bathroom with anyone. I’m very meticulous about hygiene now—I mean, I always was because I work in the hospital—but now it’s like, shower and change into clean clothes before I leave the hospital. And then, I shower and change clothes again [once I’m home]. Rancifer I wasn’t scared before, but I’m scared now. My father and mother always taught me not to run away from trouble—run toward it, because you can be the person who can change something or save someone’s life. But once this gets out of hand, I’m not going to run toward someone that can kill me. I’m 63. I fall under the category of major at-risk. After I meet with big groups of folks, I skim down to my skivvies. I wear two pairs of gloves. When I get in the car I take my clothes off and throw them on the ground. I take the top pair of gloves off and put them in a disposable Ziploc bag. Then, I take the sanitized clothes out, get dressed, and then move on back home. Au Yesterday I cried talking to a high-school friend. When you’re at home, because the kids are there, you want to be like, Everything’s cool. It is so disruptive for them, so you put on the cheerful face. And at work, since I’m an attending physician, you want to put forth that “everything’s under control.” You get accustomed to trying to keep other people calm. But talking to someone that I’ve known before this, it was just an unguarded moment. What if I get sick? [My husband and I are] rewriting our wills right now. He’s a doctor, too. One of us has to stay well. Clinkscales My mom is worrying about what we’re going to do. She is part of a housecleaning business, but people haven’t been allowing them into their homes because of precautions. My dad works in building services for a hotel, and his income has been dropping. Because of the pandemic, baseball has been canceled, five games in. Colleges aren’t recruiting. Some schools aren’t even accepting students. Ware I spent most of the day today on the phone with our creditors and sending emails to landlords and to the people we lease bikes from, and they’re like, We get it. They’ve been extremely understanding, but it is a very, very scary time. One of our creditors said, We can defer for three months but we’ll still collect interest. Our largest creditor, Wells Fargo, is deferring payments with no late fees and no interest and no reporting to our credit bureau. But a community bank is going to charge us interest. They said, That’s just what we have to do. When we sent the email that we were going to suspend everyone’s membership, we had 35 to 40 people call and say, Don’t cancel. Don’t suspend our accounts. We want to continue to pay because we know you are hit hard, and this is our gym. We want to help and support you as much as we can. Some of these people have been members since the beginning. They’re not clients or strangers; they opened the doors with us. That has been so amazing. Shawn Ware: “I spent most of the day today on the phone with our creditors.” Photograph by Audra Melton Acheson I had $26 in my checking account last week, last week, before this all happened. I’m borrowing personal funds from people I know to pay payroll. Small business is being abandoned. It’s been abandoned for a long time in this country. Nobody has any inkling about how much hurt this is going to do. Lobbyists are on the Hill right now getting every meeting that they want to bail out Delta Air Lines yet again, and the auto industry is going to get bailed out. One in 10 people in the States work for the hospitality industry. Nobody’s bailing us out. We bail out all the wrong people in this country, consistently, over and over again. These are the same people who don’t want Medicare for All, yet they want a socialist handout when they make bad decisions in business, and they go broke. When the coronavirus closed Atlanta Public Schools, the district implemented a massive effort to continue offering free meals to its 52,416 students. Working with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, APS offers a bag of free groceries every Monday at four locations around town. The district hosts an additional giveaway on Tuesdays and is offering meal service at 10 sites around town, including delivery of meals via the school bus system. Carstarphen Our goal as of yesterday was to be at 40,000 meals on any given day in a school district. We let everyone eat. As food supplies diminish or are late, and as staff continue to self-quarantine and find other challenges trying to come to work every day, we’ll have staffing shortages. Bottoms I drove to my mother’s house, and she stood outside my car. I hadn’t seen my mother in a few weeks. Which isn’t normal. My grandmother would quote the Bible: “Be anxious for nothing.” You hear from people all the time, “This, too, shall pass.” I had to write that on the wall in the mayor’s office to remind myself. We’re going to be alright. When I need to take a breath and clear my mind, I’ll go and sort some shoes. This too shall pass. Camp I work in the service industry. Half of my income has been wiped out by this. The party bus industry is on hiatus because all the bars are shut down, proms were shut down, all of that. That’s killing my income. I still have bills. Part of me feels like the government shouldn’t be telling businesses to close their doors. I feel like that should be a case-by-case basis. Busse The preparation [by the federal government] has been poor, but I didn’t really expect it not to be. Do you plan for the worst-case scenario? Or do you put resources elsewhere? So, the response in general has not been great. And I think that’s sort of what I expected. And frankly, if I was in that position, I’m not sure I would’ve done it differently. I mean, it’s really hard to plan for something like this. I’ve never had this in my lifetime. And I’ve been here for Ebola, for H1N1 influenza, and I was here for the first SARS illness back in 2003. We’ve seen these things erupt on a regional level but never really become a global pandemic. This is new in our generation. Urbina My nightmare is that one of my employees gets sick, and I have to close my office, and our families have nowhere to go. At the moment, what we need most are donations or gift cards. One donor asked if she could bring baby formula, and I said yes, that would be fantastic. We have another person who asked if they could bring baskets of food. Yes, whatever you think you can do. We are very grateful. Busse When we run out of ventilators, that’s not something that we can just pull out of the closet. So, we’re relying on and hoping for support from the government to get more ventilators. We’re relying on and hoping for support from industry to get us more resources. We’re using what we have now, and once that’s it, once we’re out, we’re going to have to get creative. We don’t have enough N95 masks. We don’t have enough personal protective equipment. We’re using what we have, and we are hoping that we don’t get the virus. Nave We’ve started rationing our personal protective equipment. We’re trying to be very, very smart about when to use it and on which patients. It’s kept under lock and key because there’s panic even in the healthcare system when something like this hits. People start hoarding. Ware My husband is 60 and has heart disease, so we want to make sure he is extra-protected. I’m a breast-cancer survivor. We live in a condo downtown. We are in and out of the parking garage, touching that door all the time. Those are the things we have to be conscious about. We’re here, and we’re in the house more now, obviously. But it’s fine, it’s family time. We’ve got a puzzle. I got me some wine. Brad Levenberg | rabbi at Temple Sinai So many of us have relied on physical gatherings to provide comfort when we’re going through difficult times. When it’s joyous, we gather to celebrate. In the days after 9/11, we gathered in homes and apartments to watch the news. Now, this kind of support is all being challenged. We need to find other ways. Busse Right now we’re not seeing the normal volume of patients that show up needing care at the hospital. And is that because patients are being more careful and taking their medicine and having telehealth visits with their primary-care doctors? Are they no longer using the emergency room as a sort of a primary-care outlet? And it makes me think: Is this what healthcare could be if we were sort of using the system appropriately? Now, of course, the pessimist in me worries that when this is all said and done, we’re going to look at mortality and morbidity of people that were not infected with COVID-19 and we’re going to see that go up. Nave Italy had so many cases that all presented at once that it overwhelmed their entire system, and they’re having to choose who’s going to live and who’s going to die. They’re looking at two patients who are actively dying and there’s one ventilator, and they’re saying “You get it.” That’s probably the most horrific experience for a physician. I can’t even imagine. That’s what we don’t want. Hollingsworth We are in the holy season of Lent right now. It’s already designed to be a season of introspection and asking the big questions. So, in many ways, this makes the Lenten questions more real and more pressing because the ground is shaky under people. But personally the ground doesn’t feel that shaky to me. Because I have a different kind of existential hope. We may see people turning to the church to ask, Are there answers there that perhaps I’ve been making fun of for a long time? This is an opportunity to live inside a hope that is not built on markets or how many widgets you can sell. Carstarphen This is going to have a huge and disproportionate impact on black and brown and poor children. When you’re in a city that has the label of being the most unequal city in America when it comes to income disparity, and you’re working with people who are already fragile and incredibly strained in the healthiest of economies, this is crushing. If you’re wealthy, you can still get the access to the things you need for your family. Our kids weren’t getting that at the outset. It took a pandemic to wake up some people to know that we have to support our marginalized brothers and sisters. Clinkscales I don’t have money to pay for college on my own. Scholarships have been taken away. I’ve been thinking about starting a business. I have always wanted to own a sports bar. Now, I’m scared about what I’m going to do after I graduate. I was working hard, doing extracurricular activities, filling out scholarship applications, playing sports, trying to do something better for my family. And it all got taken away because of the virus. Devon Clinkscales: “I’m scared about what I’m going to do after I graduate.” Photograph by Audra Melton Urbina This pandemic has proved how connected we are. Nobody can say that they have not been touched by this. I am Latina, but if something is happening to my friends in the black community, it’s my problem. I have to do something about it because they’re my people. With everything that’s happening to the Asian community, I feel so sad that people have made them feel they are to blame for the situation, which, they’re not. We need everybody’s help so we can survive. There will be repercussions from this that we can’t even imagine right now. Do whatever you can, but just do something. Stieber My main focus is keeping the business open any way I possibly can, which right now means switching to a to-go–only format this week. But we have to do what we have to do, and I’m doing whatever I can to make sure I pay my staff and keep their jobs. If you have the ability to stay home and still get paid and you’re willing to share with the people who need it, then do so. Just stop posting the same memes—pony up and do something legitimate to help. Nave I don’t leave my house a lot [when I’m not at the hospital]. We have gone to the grocery store. We do not bring our children. I keep hand sanitizer in my purse. The second I get in my car, I sanitize my hands again. We bring all the groceries in, unload then, and immediately wipe every single food item down: boxes, milk jugs, whatever. Then, we take a wipe and retrace our entire steps from the time we entered the house—every doorknob, every baby gate, every counter. Levenberg This is a time when you don’t have to put your life on the line to be a hero. You’re a hero when you pay your yard people to not show up. When you pay your cleaning people to stay home. When you send a gift card to teachers who are learning new tools to teach your children. These are all heroic measures. Bottoms I’ve been thinking a lot about the Holocaust and the diary of Anne Frank, how people’s lives changed and they had to go in hiding. When I think about that, this is a minor inconvenience. There are people who live across the globe with disease and war. I’m in a house with AC and a backyard and two dogs who get to run around and play. It’s made me grateful just about the little things—going to a restaurant, getting your nails done, going to the store. These conveniences we take for granted our entire lives. It’s given me a perspective, another layer of empathy. Nave This is a different infectious agent than we have ever seen in most of our lifetimes. This truly is unprecedented. I was at Emory when we dealt with Ebola. Ebola’s mortality is way worse than this, and it’s very infectious—but not as infectious as this. This is crazy: You start with one city in China, and now, the whole world has it because we’re so interconnected. This is such an unprecedented infectious agent that we have to be more diligent and cautious, even at the cost of some of the economics of this country. Because how do you put value on a life? Hollingsworth If we have a death in our community, it’s our practice to come together as a community and tell stories. We can’t do that now. But an interment can’t wait. The staff here will do small graveside services, and we’ll encourage families to push a memorial service into the future. Gallagher [My wife and I have] had some difficult talks about the greater good. Is it being available as a soup kitchen, or selling food to raise money for our staff, or closing down and keeping the highest level of social distancing? This morning, she shared a dream she had where she was in the grocery store and there was too many people and she could see the hand sanitizer and she couldn’t get to it. Levenberg I hope we have a renewed understanding of those who are more marginalized than we are and of the privileges we claim by default. Maybe that sense will be awakened in people who are seeing that there are a lot of people who are worse off, who are seeing that they’ve milked the existing system for their families at the expense of others. Amy Phuong and Kerry O’Brate Photograph by Audra Melton Phuong We thought, What’s preventing us from still getting married? So, we went to the courthouse to get our marriage license the last day the court was open. We pulled up the weather app to look for a date when it wasn’t going to rain. Bill Bolling [the founder of Atlanta Community Food Bank, who was officiating] said, “Pick a pretty spot.” I thought, let’s just pick our neighborhood park, Cabbagetown Park. When Kerry and I first started dating, it was midway between our houses. My parents came, my sister. We had to keep it under 10. We had hand sanitizer. I picked up pastries from Alon’s that morning. We used Kerry’s Zoom account to do some livestreaming. We wanted to make sure family and friends got to be a part of it. On the virtual stream, somebody wore pearls, somebody put on a dress and makeup, someone wore a tuxedo T-shirt, one of the bridesmaids who couldn’t be there even wore her dress. There was a beautiful moment in the ceremony where Bill was addressing the virtual crowd. His remarks almost made the park feel like it was full. He did an affirmation: “Will you guys support this couple?” That was a beautiful moment, looking over at an iPhone on a tripod and hearing everyone say, “We will.” Expanded interviews: These Georgians had so much more to say than we had space to print. New Post has been published on https://magzoso.com/tech/atrium-lays-off-lawyers-explains-pivot-to-legal-tech/
Atrium lays off lawyers, explains pivot to legal tech
$75 million-funded legal services startup Atrium doesn’t want to be the next company to implode as the tech industry tightens its belt and businesses chase margins instead of growth via unsustainable economics. That’s why Atrium is laying off most of its   in-house lawyers.
Now, Atrium will focus on its software for startups navigating fundraising, hiring, and collaborating with lawyers. Atrium plans to ramp up its startup advising services. And it’s also doubling down on its year-old network of professional service providers that help clients navigate day-to-day legal work. Atrium’s laid off attorneys will be offered spots as preferred providers in that network if they start their own firm or join another.
“It’s a natural evolution for us to create a sustainable model” Atrium co-founder and CEO Justin Kan tells TechCrunch. “We’ve made the tough decision to restructure the company to accommodate growth into new business services through our existing professional services network” Kan wrote on Atrium’s blog. He wouldn’t give exact figures but confirmed that over 10 but under 50 staffers are impacted by the change, with Atrium having a headcount of 150 as of June.
The change could make Atrium more efficient by keeping fewer expensive lawyers on staff. However, it could weaken its $500 per month Atrium membership that included some services from its in-house lawyers that might be more complicated for clients to attain through its professional network. Atrium will also now have to prove the its client-lawyer collaboration software can survive in the market with firms paying for it rather than it being bundled with its in-house lawyers’ services.
“We’re making these changes to move Atrium to a sustainable model that provides high quality services to our clients. We’re doing it proactively because we see the writing on the wall that it’s important to have a sustainable business” Kan says. “That’s what we’re doing now. We don’t anticipate any disrupt of services to clients. We’re still here.”
Justin Kan (Atrium) at TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2017
Founded in 2017, Atrium promised to merge software with human lawyers to provide quicker and cheaper legal services. Its technology can help automatically generate fundraising contracts, hiring offers, and cap tables for startups while using machine learning to recommend procedures and clauses based on anonymized data from its clients. It also serves like a Dropbox for legal, organizing all of a startup’s documents to ensure everything’s properly signed and teams are working off the latest versions without digging through email.
The $500 per month Atrium membership offered this technology plus limited access to an in-house startup lawyer for consultation, plus access to guide books and events. Clients could pay extra if they needed special help such as with finalizing an acquisition deal, or access to its Fundraising Concierge service for aid with developing a pitch and lining up investor meetings.
Kan tells me Atrium still have some in-house lawyers on staff which will help it honor all its existing membership contracts and power its new emphasis on advising services. He wouldn’t say if Atrium is paid any equity for advising, or just cash. The membership plan may change for future clients so lawyer services are provided through its professional network instead.
“What we noticed was that Atrium has done a really good job of building a brand with startups. Often what they wanted from attorneys was…advice on how to set my company up, how to set my sales and marketing team up, how to get great terms in my fundraising process” so Atrium is pursuing advising, Kan tells me. “As we sat down to look at what’s working and what’s not working, our focus has been to help founders with their super-hero story, connect them with the right providers and advisors, and then helping quarterback everything you need with our in-house specialists.”
LawSites first reported Saturday that Atrium was laying off in-house lawyers. A source says that Atrium’s lawyers only found out a week ago about the changes, and they’ve been trying to pitch Atrium clients on working with them when they leave. One Atrium client said they weren’t surprised by the changes since they got so much legal advice for just $500 per month, which they suspected meant Atrium was losing money on the lawyers’ time since it was so much less expensive than competitors. They also said these cheap legal services rather than the software platform were the main draw of Atrium, and they’re unsure if the tech on its own is valuable enough.
One concern is Atrium might not learn as quickly about what services to translate into software if it doesn’t have as many lawyers in-house. But Kan believes third-party lawyers might be more clear and direct about what they need from legal technology. “I feel like having a true market for the software you’re building is better than having an internal market” he says. “We get feedback from the outside firms we work with. I think in some ways that’s the most valuable feedback. I think there’s a lot of false signals that can happen when you’re the both the employer and the supplier.”
It was critical for Atrium to correct course before getting any bigger given the fundraising problems hitting late-stage startups with poor economics in the wake of the WeWork debacle and SoftBank’s troubles. Atrium had raised a $10.5 million Series A in 2017 led by General Catalyst alongside Kleiner, Founders Fund, Initialized, and Kindred Ventures. The in September 2018 it scored a huge $65 million Series B led by Andresseen Horowitz.
Raising even bigger rounds might have been impossible if Atrium was offering consultations with lawyers at far below market rate. Now it might be in a better position to attract funding. But the question is whether clients will stick with Atrium if they get less access to a lawyer for the same price, and whether the collaboration platform is useful enough for outside law firms to pay for.
Kan had gone through tough pivots in the past. He had strapped a camera to his head to create content for his livestreaming startup Justin.tv, but wisely recentered on the 3% of users letting people watch them play video games. Justin.tv became Twitch and eventually sold to Amazon for $970 million. His on-demand personal assistant startup Exec had to switch to just cleaning in 2013 before shutting down due to rotten economics.
Rather than deny the inevitable and wait until the last minute, with Atrium Kan tried to make the hard decision early.

How Things Can Change
Tumblr media
When did things begin to change? What was the tipping point that caused childhood memories of time spent with a parent, an aunt or an uncle, pursuing a relationship built upon creative interaction and common goals, become instead a life lived in isolation with one’s view of self worth being dependent upon what strangers who are never met in person felt your value represents to them?
Let me back up a bit and build you a picture of a time that was much different than now. Less than a century ago, before home computers, cell phones, self driving cars and man’s first moon landing, a time roughly bordered by the culmination of a war to end all wars and the start of a little thing we refer to as the Cuban Missile Crisis, we lived in one of the greatest times of prosperity the United States has ever known. People bought homes, cars, went on vacations and begin to have and raise kids in the relative safety and comfort of a great and growing nation. Sure there were problems, socially and politically, the same as any generation,  but all in all things were pretty darned good and communities found that with all the time saving devices and access to knowledge that abounded they were left with more spare time to spend with family and friends.
As kids got older parents, both moms and dads, found or made time to spend with their children, in pursuit of building stronger relationships, whether it was throwing a ball, building a birdhouse, baking cookies or spending time together during game or family night and even just relaxing in a boat on a calm lake and claiming they were fishing. My point is this; families spent time creatively working on their family and their parenting skills through education and interaction in activities that enhanced and grew the bond between child and parent.
Then along came the proverbial idea of “Keeping Up With The Joneses” and the era of bigger houses, faster cars, fancier clothing, more stuff and the pressure of a better job in order to afford all this stuff. On top of that colleges became more expensive and competitive which put a further strain on the finances of the nuclear family unit. Soon moms were working outside the home instead of caring for children  and dads were spending more time at the office in pursuit of the elusive position that would be dangled in front of them by quickly expanding corporation interests. Kids were left to their own devices often and the term latch key kid became part of the modern jargon, referring those children who would come home from school to an empty house, being left to their own devices and imagination in filling the void between themselves and their absentee parents. Anger, depression, lack of self worth and poor choices began to grow within society’s young people and the pressures haven’t eased up sense.
We can blame many things for what has resulted from this progressive turn of events and caused the social malaise we feel and experience so deeply today. I’m not sharing this to place blame though. That’s been done and continues to be repeated, ad nauseum, with little to no progress being made to correct a worseningsituation. Spending or throwing money at the situation doesn’t help when there is no attempt to resolve the problem with the exception of drugging a country into a coma at the profit of Big Pharma and who knows who else. One only need look at the increasing divorce rates and unhealthy relationships being brought on by demanding and unrealistic social pressures accompanied by continued lowering standards of self discipline and critical thinking skills to realize that unless we figure something out, and quick, we are headed full speed into a society dangerously deficient in both empathy and morality. So, what’s the solution?
I don’t pretend to have all the answers. I do however feel that taking a step back and shaking ourselves out of the stupor we’ve allowed to fall over our society we can begin to gain some perspective and perhaps wrestle control of the situation back from the cliff edge we find ourselves currently peering over. If we don’t stop with the false narrative we are allowing ourselves to be force fed every day, virtually 24/7, by a media hell bent on being controlled through special interests profiting from the problems we face, we will all soon be forced over that cliff.  You may wonder why anyone would wish to profit from our problems. It’s simple really. And it comes down to what I’ll call Sales 101.
The first thing one learns in basic sales is to find out where the prospect, client or customer’s pain point is. What keeps them up at night worrying? What fear motivates them to action? What do they see as a clear and present danger and how does one solve that problem? It was discovered that creating or manufacturing a problem, thus making it real, whether done honestly or through such personal and social engineering tactics as using drugs, finances, deception or misinformation you get people’s attention. Cause the problem and then introduce the solution. It’s a brilliant strategy and it’s one that plays out every day in our society. Just watch the news. What does virtually every news organization lead off with? Is it something good or bad that may or may not directly or indirectly affect your life? It has been discovered that the fear of loss carries a much more effective motivational power than that of the joy of gain. We’ve run out the clock, ( financially and emotionally), on the gain game, so now we’ve been delt our current hand, often unwittingly, into the game of our greatest fear which is loss.
So, that said, what do I feel are some solutions, that can begin today, right now, this very moment, to ensure that we leave the playing table and this addictive game behind?
1- Change your attitude about time and money.
Money without time is worthless. You can always make more money but I defy anyone to challenge me on the fact that you can make more time. Each of us is born with a bank account of time. We never know how much we have so why do we spend the majority of our life wasting our most precious commodity? Try thinking of time as being something you need to diversify your portfolio in. We do it with our money, why not with our most precious of commodities, our time?
 2- Change your habits.
Humans are fairly predictable animals. We almost always follow the line of least resistance. We’re like a river in that we simply go with the flow, following blindly the land laid out before us. We follow that flow to whatever we are told will make us feel good by virtue of being easily attainable to accomplish. Watch a mindless TV show or spend some quality time with the wife and kids? It’s your choice, but which one do you know is best spent? We fall into habits that aren’t necessary the best for ourselves or those around us. Review your daily routine. What habits could you modify to give life more meaning to yourself and others?
3- Spend time with people and projects that make a difference.
Humans love to gawk. We especially love to gawk at people’s pain. Watch people’s reaction when slowly driving by a wreck alongside the road or while watching people do stupid, and dangerous things, on so called reality TV shows, and you get the idea. But ask them to spend time networking for a good cause or volunteering to help at an event or on a project that involves putting their best foot forward and creating a better neighborhood or community and you’ll find that the numbers of gawkers dwindle dramatically. Don’t gawk, just do the right thing. Become involved in ways that allow you to invest your time and not just your financial support.
4- Spend time with those who matter and those you may feel don’t
The saying “Charity begins at home” is so true, and can’t be any more true and needed than it is today. Teach your son or daughter how to build a birdhouse out of real wood and use it as a teaching tool when birds move in. Change the oil in your car together with your son, daughter, spouse, significant other, even when you know that it will be faster and more convenient to have it done at a quick lube. Ramp up the building project to include volunteering on a Habitat for Humanity build.  Or just go for a walk in a local park or even around your neighborhood and smile and say Hi to those people who live near you but who you haven’t bothered to get to know.  They matter too, especially in times of unexpected or dire circumstances. Show you care. Be a good example to others for what it means to be aware and to care for those around you.
5- Have a frank discussion with your kids, your significant other, and yourself
How much time do you, and those you care about, spend time immersed in the brainless drivel spewing forth from a phone, tablet, computer, or TV screen? Ask yourself, “what it is about those things that are so captivating and why?” Screen addiction is a real thing and it does kill people, emotionally and physically. I still can't believe the number of people I see on the open road, and even the freeways where I live, weaving in and out and texting as they careen a steel weapon of mass destruction through a maze of fast moving traffic. I haven’t even touched on the suicides egged on and instigated by online bullying. It’s not worth it folks.
6- Start being honest with yourself
Do you care enough to make a difference? Do you feel that something is a little off in society these days? Do you feel that you can do better and perhaps help those who are closest to you do better as well? I hope, and even pray, that you can answer these three questions in the positive. If not, find someone who can answer them positively, introduce yourself  and start an honest dialogue with them.
 7- Find yourself a mentor
One final thing; consider finding yourself a mentor. We all need someone in our life who cares, whether we do or not. Building a bird house using simple tools with someone who cares may sound rhetorically trite and even out dated. But as metaphors go it just may lead to your discovering how to  build a bigger house, physically, mentally, socially and spiritually, than you, or those you love, could ever imagine.

How to Achieve 10x Results in 2019 Using This Simple Strategy
You try.
Like all of us, you have a goal in your life you’re struggling with.
You want to get in better shape, make more money, find more clients for your business, switch careers — the list goes on.
What do you do? You set a goal. Your goal is always reasonable — work out three times a week, write 500 words a day, outline your business in the next 90 days and find one customer.
You’ve been told, “the journey of a thousand miles starts with one step,” and you try to make progress little by little, but somewhere along the line, you fall short.
What gives? You know if you just “put your mind to it” you’d accomplish your goals, but you can’t bring yourself to execute and commit long enough.
What if the problem isn’t your inability to follow through with reasonable goals?
What if your goals are too reasonable and small?
Enter the 10x rule.
Photo by Matt Ragland on Unsplash
The 10x Rule Explained
Grant Cardone, entrepreneur, and author wrote the book The 10x Rule: The Only Difference Between Success and Failure.
Here’s the rule — Take your original goal and multiply it by 10. Also, multiply your effort to achieve your goal by 10.
I know what you’re thinking…
This is just wishful thinking and macho talk.
But the 10x Rule is one of the most practical books you’ll ever read.
Some of the core ideas behind the 10x rule are:
Small goals are uninspiring — Small goals are easy to accomplish but they’re also easy to dismiss. You also don’t get much satisfaction from reaching them.
10x goals stretch your thinking and actions — The common wisdom is aiming high leads to disappointment, but this thinking is rooted in fear. Setting 10x goals and multiplying your effort 10x requires a transformation, which is what we all really want in the first place. The higher the potential payoff, the less likely you are to quit when things get tough.
Don’t reduce your target, increase action — What’s the first thing we do when stumbling toward a goal? We lower it. Instead, why not ramp up your effort? If we’re honest in these situations we’d see we’re nowhere near our effort ceiling.

Why Reaching for the Stars is Safer Than Staying on the Ground
There’s a quote from Warren Buffet that says, “When the tide goes out you’ll see who’s swimming naked.”
The 10x rule isn’t just an exercise in lofty thinking. It’s a hedge against the tightrope of average results.
There’s nothing wrong with average thinking, average planning, and average amounts of action…as long as everything goes smoothly. But as soon as situations go south, failure to set big enough targets causes massive pain.
Just look at these examples:
Most Americans grossly underestimate how much money they need to retire.
Many are living paycheck to paycheck and have no savings.
The average household has piles of debt (would you survive a repeat of 2008?)
Most businesses fail because they underestimate how much cash they’ll need to survive lean times
Almost all people with ‘revolutionary’ ideas severely underestimate how much effort it will take to execute those ideas
Living an abundant lifestyle isn’t just pleasurable, it protects you. Society emphasizes the virtue of mediocrity, but all morality aside, mediocrity is mathematically and pragmatically not good because it can all be swept away in the tide of circumstances.
You can’t just create 10x goals and make them magically happen. You have to give a 10x effort in as well. But how do you do that when taking normal levels of actions is hard?

Massive Action = Massive Results
In the book, Grant tells the story of running one of his first businesses. He expected to do reasonably well. He wasn’t unrealistic. It would take time to earn as much through his business as he did from his former day job. He estimated he’d get back to that amount in 6 months. It turns out it would actually take years before he reached the same level of income.
He reached a point of frustration and began to lean on the crutch of excuses we’re all prone to leaning on when things go south. The market wasn’t ready for the product. The timing was off. Clients didn’t have the funds. So it goes.
Rather than quit, however, he increased his activity.
Instead of making 5 sales calls per day, he made 50.
Instead of posting social media updates twice per day, he posted twice per hour.
As the company grew, customers started to complain about the frequency of his email marketing messages. What’d he do? He decided to send messages more frequently. This turned some of his audience off, but many began to admire the hustle and his influence grew.
He had the same business idea, in the same market, with the same customer pool, and his business exploded. The only thing that changed was his effort.
Aspiring writers reach out to me a lot. They’re all frustrated with their progress. Many haven’t even written 50 blog posts yet. I shake my head. They should come to me if they’re still struggling after having written 500 posts.
This begs the question — how is the 10x rule any different from the notion of trying hard?

The 4 Levels of Action
According to the author, we all operate at one of four levels of action:
Do nothing — Pretty self-explanatory.
Retreat — When faced with any form of resistance we back down immediately. People in retreat mode fear even beginning the journey of massive accomplishment.
Normal levels of action — You go to work and do just enough to not get fired.
Massive action — You mentally and physically go all in.
The author brings up an honest point I love. People at the first two levels aren’t really ready to take massive action in their lives.
Photo by bruce mars on Unsplash
I’ve heard this argument before — self-help in general usually works best for people who are already well-adjusted enough.
Fortunately, most of us fit into the normal level of action category and can move into massive action.
I’ll use myself as an example. I’m a pretty motivated guy. I wake up daily at 5 a.m. to write, work out three times a week, wrote two books, spoke at a TEDx conference in front of 1000+ people, and run a successful side business. By all accounts, I’m doing well and I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, but am I capable of much more? Absolutely.
As motivated and productive as I may be, I still have limiting beliefs and mental barriers that keep me from working ten times as hard to achieve ten times the results.
These days, I’m setting 10x goals and focusing on giving 10x effort because it might be the only way to see what I’m actually made of. But that comes with an emotional toll right? Life is hard. People don’t necessarily have time or energy to go 10x. How do we deal with our current realities and find a way to step up our game?
Stop Being a Little Bitch
In the audio version of the book, the author on-the-spot renames one of the chapters, “stop being a little bitch” as opposed to “stop being a victim.”
Look, setting aside issues on religion, politics, and sex, let’s just be honest for a second.
As a society, we’ve grown marshmallow soft. Slowly but surely, we’re learning to become more helpless, reliant, and downright whiny.
I can say this almost objectively — the government isn’t going to save you…hell they don’t even care about you at all.
I have my bias, of course, but it seems clear to me people have been conditioned into expecting good things to just happen and crying when they don’t.
Look, I get it. Your circumstances are quite real. No one’s saying they’re not. But at the end of the day, your life is your life and you have to live it. Your two choices are to act or don’t. And as much as being a victim gives you the weird pleasure that comes with martyrdom, you still end up somewhere you don’t want to be.
Anytime I feel sorry for myself, feel tired and weak, or feel like giving up. In essence, I tell myself to stop being a little bitch. I remind myself of the only two options I have — stay the same or act. After this internal conversation, I always do the latter.
Let’s explore some other topics from the book and explore strategies to support your new 10x way of thinking and living.

An Unusual and Extremely Useful Way to Look at Success
“Do kids benefit when they see their moms and dads losing or quitting?”
This section of the book struck me as something I’ve never heard before.
The author says to succeed you should treat the acquisition of success as an ethical issue.
Most of us look at success as a luxury. We shrug it off with “sure, that’d be nice” types of phrasing. We look at giving the most of ourselves to our lives and the people around us as an option, not a duty.
Also, we all have a tendency to act pious and believe ourselves to be moral. You think you’re a good person because you don’t steal, commit acts of violence, or overtly cheat other people. But, if looking at the acquisition of success as an ethical issue, are you cheating yourself and others out of what you can contribute?
You probably are.
If you’re tempted to rush off and mount your high horse, remember, success means much more than a monetary reward or status. So, the argument of “I don’t care about money and status” doesn’t fly here.
Look deeply at your life…even in the way you treat your family. Are you fully present? Are you giving them your full self? Or are you physically there but not mentally because you’re preoccupied with worry or trying to drown that worry out by tuning out?
The point of treating success as an ethical problem isn’t to beat yourself up for not having a million in the bank. The point is actually to humble you by realizing that doing just enough isn’t something to be proud of.
You’re alone reading this. Have that conversation with yourself. Are you making success a duty or are you bullsh**ing yourself?
You know the answer…
Adopt This Attitude
“Think about it: What’s the worst thing that can happen to you if you just totally go for it?”
I entered a competition against 23 other speakers for a chance to give a talk at a TEDx conference. I’d been in a Toastmasters club for less than six months. I had no reason to believe they’d chose me. But I figured, “Why not? The worse thing that could happen is they say no. That’s it.”
When I write a new book, I spend a few thousand dollars to produce it. The worst thing that could happen? I lose a few thousand bucks — not a ton of money in the grand scheme of things. Plus, I can’t sell negative books — I know the downside.
I make these little bets on my future all the time. And the worst case scenario is usually just getting my feelings hurt and ego bruised. But we’re emotional creatures and the fear of failure and rejection can be too much to bear.
What about you? What imaginary ghosts are you battling now?
If you went all in on that idea lingering in your mind, really, what’s the worse thing that could happen?
You don’t need a loan from the bank to start a business anymore.
You don’t have to put your family at risk to start a new venture or find a new career — you can always use your spare time.
There usually isn’t a great answer to “Why not?” is there? Just fear. Always fear.
Here’s what I know. If you do fail, there won’t be a giant crowd to witness it. Others aren’t paying as much attention to you as you think they are. Also, human beings have the amazing ability to recover from setbacks. Think of a time that felt bad in the moment but barely registers with you now.
I’ve failed at many different things. It felt bad then. But now I think, “Eh. It was still worth the effort.” Then I move on.
I’m no different than you. I just act before I’m ready — and the secret is you’re never really ready.
10X The Quality of Your Life
I never seek to judge. I’m not the type to admonish anyone for how they live. My goal is to get you to think for yourself and make observations that help you change.
But let’s just call a spade a spade. There is such a thing as being mediocre. By way of pure numbers and comparison, some people are just in the middle.
I know from experience that being in the middle is one of the most dangerous places you can be — it’s also the riskiest.
Who got hit hardest by the financial crisis? The middle.
Who is a few health scares or negative financial windfalls from being destitute? The middle.
Who gets put on the chopping block when a company downsizes? Average mid-level management.
At least at the bottom, you have aid, support, and assistance. At the top — at 10x levels — you’re constantly prepared for the future and always taking action, so you know you’re ready for whatever the future brings.
In the middle, you’re most susceptible to the rug being pulled from underneath you.
From a purely pragmatic and practical viewpoint, it seems like escaping the middle should be a priority.
You may not be able to 10x your income, but you can 10x your creativity, energy, and effort.
You can 10x the standards you have for yourself.
The core idea of the 10x rule is this — You are nowhere near the universe of what you’re capable of.
Maybe going 10x isn’t the key to everything you want in life, but underestimating your capabilities is the key to not getting it.
I’ve never looked at success in terms of just status, money, or otherworldly measures. The level of effort you exert to become successful turns you into a better version of yourself.
Become a better version of yourself for the sake of becoming a better version of yourself.

Buying A Sunglass Present - Why A Retail Display Is An Investment In Your Company Interests
When buying a sunglass display there are any kind of number of roadways you, the seller, can take. Possibly one of the most popular method is to browse until you locate the best deal feasible on a display screen that could fit the kind of quantity you think you require. While it is important to cut prices where possible in your shop, it is also essential to think about every retail display you purchase as a financial investment. When you buy a component for your store you are purchasing your store's success, your customer's experience, and also your honesty as a trusted vendor of your item. This isn't really to claim that getting an economical wood sunglasses display is constantly a bad decision, however if you're serious about increasing your sales there are a couple of things you must consider before investing.
Initially, thinking things go as you have actually intended and sales start to get, you need to consider an essential element every merchant thinks about when purchasing any sort of display: website traffic. Traffic is the largest outdoors factor in the durability of a display. Whether you own a family-oriented store, a premium boutique, or a chain of drug stores, website traffic is both your close friend as well as your enemy. As your client communicates with your sunglass collection, they are likewise interacting with your display screen. Website traffic is the sole reason it is challenging to position a time frame on how much time a sunglass display screen need to last. Although you can't manage the sort of website traffic your screen will get, you can be prepared. You could invest in a screen with a performance history of sturdiness and resistance to all types of client interaction. Read the item summaries of every display screen you consider as well as consider exactly what kinds of products each is built with, and also the length of time each product could generally last under the appropriate conditions. Plastic cracks. Soft steels will certainly bend. Don't hesitate to pay a little bit extra for a display you think will certainly benefit you for a number of years to come. Think about value before cost. Since in the long run, like any kind of service venture, acquiring a screen is a numbers video game; does it make good sense to buy three $100 screens throughout three years, or one screen for $275 that will last you five as well as aid you convert much more sales?
Second, it is very important to buy a screen whose look is lined up with the core interests of your organisation, and the rest of your shop. Occasionally sellers consider offering sunglasses an afterthought; "Sure, why not toss a screen with some sunglasses in my store, it can't hurt right?". Incorrect. A screen that looks out of location in your shop can be big exit ramp for potential customers. If you have actually spent time and money in a retail landscape developed to excite your consumer and also make them feel comfy, it does not make sense to wander off from your passions, also momentarily. Search for a sunglass display with the feel and look of your shop's. If your store has a famous timber grain feel, buy a mens bamboo watches online display screen with a timber grain coating. Commit to earning your purchaser really feel as comfortable acquiring sunglasses as they are any of your various other items. Ultimately this will certainly always indicate even more sales as well as a better buying experience, which means extra repeat clients.

Marketing Strategies For Real Estate During COVID 19
Well, this is a very difficult time in the real estate business. It’s really a difficult time for all businesses, but real estate has always been known as a people business. So when we literally physically have a restriction that we cannot be within six feet of one another. It poses some additional challenges for us in all aspects of real estate. But the one aspect that I want to talk about right now is marketing. How does this affect our methods, techniques of marketing? How does it sort of change our marketing strategies? So in order to do that, let’s talk about a few different types of effective marketing that we’ve used before and are they going to be still effective now or are we going to have to tweak some of those techniques in order to make them more faceted for a pandemic like the COVID-19 assuming that this isn’t the only time that this is going to happen.
Also make sure to check out real estate investing tips during COVID-19.
youtube
You know, there’s been a lot of conversations and a very hot topic right now is what’s going to happen after this quarantine? Are things going to go back to completely normal? A lot of people are thinking no. So we’re going to have to continue to sort of adapt to these changes and our methods and what we do in our marketing for real estate. So a couple of things. First, some basic real estate marketing methods that we use is our door hangers. Door hangers are a great a way to, to blanket an area, let people know in the area that you buy properties cash or you’re helping homeowners out of foreclosure or whatever your messaging is for your door hangers. However, this is a physical aspect of, of marketing. It’s not digital. So we literally have to come out to each house and put this up on someone’s door during this time.
I don’t think that you want to be outside of someone’s house messing around with their door handle with them hearing, especially, you know, with them being home and being core contained and not knowing who’s at their door, especially if you’re not knocking at the door and you’re not delivering food or something to them. So, uh, so that’s going to be a challenge to be using door hangers right now. Plus, um, you know, just putting this up on someone’s door. Yes, they might get it, but if people are quarantined inside their house, they’re not coming in and out of work every day. They might literally not see it on the door for a little while. So I don’t think this is really going to be an effective way to market right now. This is something that you probably would want to wait on a, we also do door knocking packages where we knock on doors, which we know door knocking right now is completely out of the question.
Uh, there’s no reason to even go to someone’s house right now, even if you’re just dropping off a door hanger or to even to drop off a door knocking package because of the fact that they were going to be a lot of negative connotations that are going to go along with that. People are going to see, you know, Hey, somebody just dropped something off at my door. That was unannounced. So you have to be very careful with that. Now if you put this door knocking package, if you have information, let’s say it’s a, a pre-foreclosure with equity or without equity or a probate property and you put the information in a Manila envelope and maybe leave it at their door, that is a, that’s a little bit of a gray area. Um, honestly, uh, the jury is still sort of out on that one. I actually have a few students that are doing that right now, but the majority of students, uh, have just decided that they don’t want to get those phone calls from homeowners saying, how dare you during this quarantine, leave your house to come over to my house.
So I think that the door knocking packages, door knocking all together is going to be out. But even leaving door knocking packages physically at someone’s house is going to be very difficult at this time and probably not the greatest idea. We also have been doing, um, direct mail forever in a day. You know, sending out the yellow letter is probably one of the most basic aspects of marketing for real estate. And actually it’s been a little bit dead lately in the last couple of years. Direct mail has really gone down the amount of actual conversions that you get. A conversion. Meaning if I send a marketing piece to someone, I actually convert them into a customer or a client. And the conversion rates of direct mail had been really low because everybody had known, mother has been doing direct mail and homeowners will show you, I’ve got a stack of letters that I’ve gotten from other investors trying to make cash offers on my property.
So even though some direct mail can still be effective and was before at 19 with the correct messaging, now it might even be a little bit more effective. This could be something where we’re looking at this, this pandemic right now and trying to spin an actual positive instead of a negative. I was believe in trying to make lemonade out of lemons as much as possible. There’s no such thing as problems, only solutions. So I actually have a couple of boxes, a couple of thousand of of envelopes. Um, their invitation style, different colors. It’s a different size envelope. So that way, you know, people might actually think that there’s a party or something that they’re getting invited to a COVID 19 zoom party maybe. Um, so I’m actually gonna utilize this time, um, to, to, you know, I spent the money on this. This is an expense. It’s just been sitting in the closet collecting dust.
So we’re going to start testing out some direct mail. Um, you know, reaching out to homeowners right now, uh, with direct mail. It could be good on, on a couple of different levels. Number one, uh, the, the content of messaging needs to first and foremost have something about the COBIT 19 situation, acknowledging it, acknowledging them in their family, the homeowner, their family, hoping that they’re all safe and that they’re all healthy. And if they’re making it through this corn teen right now, you could maybe even put something fun in there for them. A puzzle or a crossword puzzle or just anything that you could think of that might be something that they could utilize, you know, and, and spend a little bit of time on since everybody’s quarantine at home, everybody, but he’s getting very, very bored. Um, everybody’s watched everything on Netflix. So trying to come up with creative ways of having some content inside, you know, an envelope for direct mail or the homeowner opens it.
You’re, again, relating to them, hoping that their family and everybody is safe during this time. Letting them know, reaching out to them who you are and that you will be here to help them when this whole situation is over, that you’re going to be keeping your fingers on the pulse of the COBIT 19 pandemic, especially if you’re tuning into like the national real estate investors association calls every Friday that we do a, and that is where we, we let everybody around the country, investors, homeowners, landlords, we let them know what is the latest legislation, uh, and one of the latest updates on the pandemic affecting real estate. So that’s information that, you know, as a homeowner, if they’re facing foreclosure, uh, as a, as a landlord, if they have tenants that aren’t paying their rent and there’s going to be certain things they’re going to want to know, you know, when does the court system open up again?
When does that foreclosure case continue to move forward? If they had a sale date, when is that sale date going to be reset. So bringing them values, bringing them information, educating them. So first we’re acknowledging and being, um, you know, empathetic to the situation of the pandemic. Then we’re letting them know, Hey, listen, I’m, I’m, I’m going to be here to reach out to you and keep you updated on any situations that affect you and your property. Um, maybe having some other information in there for them about their specific situation. And then like I said, getting creative and putting like a little puzzle, crossword puzzle or something, a little game that they and their family can can play or something. Just something that you know, that will, they’ll remember you. Okay. So that’s some ideas that direct mail, you could actually ramp up your direct mail right now and utilizing your direct mail to, you know, to educate them and let them know, Hey listen, you know, I can be a resource for you to let you know what’s going on with the coven 19.
It’s not just about watching the local news channels, uh, the national REIA. If you’re a member of a local RIA or if you’re a member of BREIA, MDREIA, then, you know, getting connected with the national REIA and having, uh, that, that extra information and added information that we’re getting from our constituents at the national REIA, that direct deal directly with Washington DC is a great way for you to inform your homeowners. I always feel, no matter if it’s a pandemic or not, that educating our homeowners, bringing them value is always going to be a very effective way to market to them. Don’t just be that person that says, Hey, I want to buy your property, or you’re facing foreclosure, you’re gonna lose your property. I want to buy it, you know, be someone that brings some value to them. So educate them a little bit.
Same thing with our marketing that we do with our thank you’s. Um, and this will relate a little bit more to some cold calls when I talk about that as well. But again, you know, people are getting very bored sitting at home. Yes. Some people are going to be a little bit apprehensive maybe about opening the mail as far as having at 19, you know, on it. Um, but, uh, uh, but I still think that, you know, you’re, you’re still going to be effective in, in, you know, mailing things to them. I’m checking my mail more than I ever checked my mail and, uh, and even though I’m, I might, you know, go over it. Uh, what’s an alcohol before I open it up? I’m not really that concerned about it. Doesn’t mean everyone is going to be. Um, also, you know, an effective way of marketing that we do in real estate is utilizing our business card at networking events where we can’t go to networking events now, uh, obviously.
So in order to be able to, to market. And again, we’re not just necessarily marketing to homeowners. If you’re building your real estate business, you’re marketing to buyers, maybe you’re marketing to hard money lenders, maybe you want to start marketing to some probate attorneys to try to get some leads. So utilizing your business card and maybe having some novelty items like pens. Again, you know, the, the, the whole situation of, of, you know, doing direct mail or mailing people pens is, is sometimes an expensive, um, uh, situation. But the reality is, is that you could focus on just a few small niche markets, whether it’s going to be a certain type of potential seller or other ways to build your business attorneys and different things. And you could actually just send them a nice pen or something in the mail and a nice letter saying again, you know, acknowledging where this coven 19 hoping that their family and friends and everybody is safe and healthy.
Uh, we’re, you know, I’m keeping my mind on the future. Whenever this corn teen is lifted, I want to be your go to person or I want you to be my, you know, GoTo hard money lender, or I want you to be my title company. Um, or I’m going to be there for you, mr and mrs homeowner that are facing a foreclosure. So there’s ways to, to, you know, to utilize that as well. And again, you know, this time getting a pen in the mail with some nice, you know, a handwritten letter or something, um, it’s something that’s going to be memorable to them. Uh, now that follows up to, you know, the realm of, of digital marketing, which is what we always think about when there’s really not. It’s kind of a non-touch direct mail can be that same way as well. Um, but um, taking me into the next aspect of, of marketing would that, uh, relates to is cold calling.
We have our digital marketing, which I’ll talk about in a minute, but cold calling is also a way that we can still maintain our social distances, but have a much more effective way of marketing to them. I think that cold calling is really the door knocking of, of a pandemic error because you at least still get to talk to them. I can still at least hear the voice of the homeowner, the other person at the end of that phone. Um, and I can, you know, hear the fluctuations in their voice when I say certain things to still give me some of that stimulation that I need in order to figure out what to say next or what not to say. So cold calling is a very effective way right now reaching out to people. But again, it’s always about your message. It’s not just about the method of, of what your, of what your, your type of of marketing technique is.
So it’s the messaging to when you cold call your homeowners, you’re going to want to let them know first and foremost that you’re not trying to sell them anything, that it’s not any type of fraud and that, you know, you want to just, you know, acknowledge the fact that Hey, you know, we’ve been all this together. I hope that your family and friends and everybody is safe. So that’s going to be really, really important. Um, and then opening up to them to let them know, you know, the same way to let them know that, Hey listen, you know, I want to be a resource for you. Uh, I want to just let you know, I just got off the call national REIA last week. Or maybe you just got off the call on a Friday at four o’clock, or maybe it’s a Saturday and you’re doing your cold calling.
Say I just got off the phone. Uh, or this, the, the zoom meeting, the national meeting that we just had. Here’s a couple of updates. Maybe you didn’t know what was going on in the coven 19 situation. And especially if you’re cold calling people in other States and other places, have that conversation with them of like, Hey, I see it’s, you’re in Charlotte, North Carolina. How are things in North Carolina going? And then give them a quid pro quo. Let them know what is going on in your market, what’s going on in Miami. Especially if they own a property down here, they’re going to want to know. They’ll probably even just ask you that question. So the most important thing is going to be communicating very clearly up front. Hey listen, I know this is, you know, really kind of strange. I’m calling you out of the blue, you know, letting you know that I hope you and your family are good during this corn team, but it’s that human touch, you know, and just let them know, Hey listen, I’m just healing.
I’m here at home, I’m trying to run my real estate business here and I’m just, you know, wanting to, to reach out to you and just let you know that I’m going to be a free resource for you, that I’m going to be here for you and your family and, and you know, a possible potential buyer for your property. If you get into that part of the conversation when this quarantine is over. So cold calling right now is one of the more effective ways because like I said, it’s that way of still being able to speak to them directly, but still maintaining your social distancing. Now that leaves me to digital marketing. Uh, if you are right now, have your business situated so you have a Facebook page, um, your Instagram, YouTube. This is a great time right now to start thinking about, you know, some really good content sitting in front of a camera just like this.
And just talking, you know, about what, you know, maybe, you know, talking about a few updates of the COBIT 19 situation and how homeowners can maintain their mortgages or something. I’m giving them some, some, you know, some good information doing a quick video, putting it out on your Facebook and when you send letters to people, by the way, let them know, Hey, you know, check us out on Facebook. We put up free videos, um, all of the time. Maybe there’s some different legislation that’s going to come up and a couple of weeks about insuring properties. You know, we’re, we’re moving in South Florida and to hurricane season, so there’s going to be now a new added challenge there. So there’s all kinds of ways that you can think about bringing value to your homeowners and that digital marketing, bringing value and educating them is really just trying to get that re that that trust, gain their trust, be that brand that they say, you know what?
If I’m ready now or I’m not ready now, but when I am ready, these are the people that I want to do my business with. These are the people that I want to sell my property to because I see the value that they’re bringing to people in the community. So you’re going to have to really think about that in your marketing when it’s a booming market, you know, sending out direct mail and saying, Hey, I want to buy your property cash. Give me a call. And you send out, you know, 20,000 pieces. You’re going to get some calls from some people and it’s just going to be a very direct conversation. But right now we’re all in this situation together. We’re all in this situation that is new. I believe for anyone that’s living on this planet now, no one has ever been through a pandemic like this.
So it’s that time to be more human. It’s that time to kind of rewind a little bit, go back to, you know, when, when marketing first started out and we were doing those handwritten yellow letters and, and you know, and the door knocking that we actually still do today, we’re just not able to, uh, to do now. So think of that as well. Think about bringing value, educating them, being empathetic about the coven 19 situation. Trying to relate as much to that situation as possible because that’s what’s on everybody’s radar. Of course. Any new information or updates on the cobot 19 and I’m sure everyone is going to be all ears. So that’s the way that you can think about your marketing efforts. Um, during the coven 19 pandemic. It’s going to be more focusing on those types of marketing that are not going to be physical where you’re, you’re, you know, meeting face to face.
And obviously if someone is ready to sell their property right now, um, or whether you know they’re ready to sell their property and your direct mail marketing or in your cold calls, you can let them know, Hey listen, if you are, I’m not, you know, pressuring you. I’ve just really wanted to call you and let you know that I just wanted to, you know, reach out and let you know that there’s somebody here that can help you if you need our help. But the reality is, is that you want to let them know if you are ready to sell, someone is ready to sell. You know, here’s, here’s what we can do. We won’t have anyone come over to your house. You can take the pictures for us. You know, keep that social distancing. Let them know that you are very aware of the situation and they have nothing to worry about.
Usually, you know, people resist to doing something because of fear. You know, that’s what we call their pain points. So if someone’s like, yeah, I want to sell my house right now, I’m facing a foreclosure. I know I’m losing equity. I know I’m not going to get a loan modification cause I just lost my job. I need to pull my equity out of this house, relocate my family to a small apartment, you know, until I get back on my feet again. But I don’t want anybody to come to my house. Well maybe they have just denied, you know, 10, 10 offers for people to buy their property because they’re worried about them sending their contractors or themselves coming over to the property. So if you let them know, Hey listen, I am, um, you cognitive cognitive of, of what is going on right now and you know, we know the social distancing rules and we want to make you comfortable.
So if we buy your property, we can structure this so that we can do everything electronically, sending you the contract electronically. Um, we can, uh, have you take pictures of the property and just send it to us. So they’re done. That’s, I have to be any face to face when we do the closing documents. Our, um, our title companies will work with you. I believe that a lot of title companies have even moved to using zoom as a, as a way to sort of notarize signatures and things so that they physically see the person sign it. So there’s all kinds of different ways, again, educating that homeowner to let them know this is what their pain is and I’m going to create your bliss. That’s what true marketing is. So I’m so hope everybody is, um, effectively still pushing forward to build their real estate business. Don’t use this time as an excuse to give up, especially if you just first started, because I hate to say it, but this is going to be a great market and there’s going to be a lot of need for you to market to people. Cause there’s going to be a lot of people that are going to need our help, especially as cash buyers too, when this pandemic is over. So that’s my take on marketing during the coven 19 pandemic.

10 Horrible Mistakes To Avoid When You Do Profitable Business Ideas To Start With Little Money
As a reporter at CNBC Make things who's covered a few of one of the most amazing means people have made money-- consisting of a 28-year-old whose company has made millions purchasing points at Walmart as well as marketing them on Amazon and also a business owner that started marketing board video games out of his living space-- I wondered to learn if it was as easy as they made it seem. Could someone like myself without previous experience in fact begin an effective business with little time to spare as well as even much less cash? With a budget plan of much less than $1,000, 2 weeks time to introduce something as well as a strategy to give away all earnings to charity, I laid out to find the solution. In week among the experiment, I arrived at the concept of marketing crypto-themed garments. In week 2, I purchased a domain name, produced styles to print on shirts and established a Shopify account linked with print-on-demand service Printful to minimize the quantity of labor I would certainly need to do once the service was up as well as running. I will not have to satisfy, print or ship anything myself. Establishing the entire service-- from website, to designs, to LLC to checking account-- took about 50 hours of work as well as cost me less than $600. With the initial two components of my obstacle full, I established my eyes on the 3rd and also aimed to ramp up advertising efforts in order to make the most of profits. The very first article that went up in the/ r/Bitcoin subreddit a day after launch garnered over 5,000 views. The traffic led to one sale, after that 2, then nine by day's end. After examining the site with sales from close friends and also family members on launch day, real sales gathered after uploading on Reddit. As well as to be reasonable, it did really feel like a dream. Every hour or so after posting, an additional Shopify alert would certainly turn up on my phone explaining that a human somewhere in the globe wanted to pay $20 for among my t-shirts. I also woke up to sales that closed while I was resting-- another $20 in earnings. The dream didn't last long. I put on out my welcome in various other subreddits that weren't as responsive to what was viewed as an advertising and marketing scheme. One user commented, "it's getting irritating, to the stage I don't wish to sustain it lol." One more Redditor, business owner Mubashar Iqbal, even offered to assist profile my store on Item Quest, a website devoted to showcasing significant start-ups. It received some interest, yet eventually just resulted in one sale. Checking a very early service suggestion with your target audience on sites like Reddit and also Product Hunt makes good sense when launching, but it doesn't compare to the sustainability as well as automation of Facebook's system, according to Chapman. "Facebook is great to obtain clients since you can develop down so remarkably well," he says. It's a huge component of what Chapman educates in his on-line marketing course, Academy of Arbitrage. The initial thing that struck me regarding using Facebook Business's ad system was that it's surprisingly low-cost. At a minimal price of $1 a day, I might target those that were interested in cryptocurrency, then even more limit age varieties, sex, earnings degrees as well as even, you thought it, political association. Using images of a few of my bestsellers, I was able to release ads that track when and also how typically individuals click via to my website in just an issue of hours. It was additionally relatively very easy to duplicate those ads over to Instagram. The ease of use might be one reason that in a CNBC study, even more than 4 in 10 small-business merchants (42 percent) said they had actually promoted on Facebook within the past few months. Utilizing both, I set a budget plan of just $3 a day and also let Facebook deal with the remainder. The Facebook ads I tested weren't satisfied with virtually the exact same success as the Reddit messages and also no sales have actually yet come in as an outcome. Chapman assures me that iterating on advertisements to locate what jobs is all part of the procedure. "Allow the marketplace decide what t-shirt they desire to wear, cut all the remainder and also then concentrate on that one driving item," he says, adding that a suitable objective would certainly be returning 3 times the complete amount I spend on ads in revenue. That much at the start looks like a soaring goal. Yet then once more-- considering the fact that three weeks ago all I had was a concept, perhaps, simply perhaps, there's hope CryptoCrow.co can continue in its pursuit to supply the net's finest crypto apparel.
In week one of the experiment, I landed on the idea of marketing crypto-themed garments. Every hour or so after posting, another Shopify notification would stand out up on my phone describing that a human someplace in the world desired to pay $20 for one of my tee shirts. Using pictures of some of my bestsellers, I was able to introduce ads that track when as well as how commonly individuals click via to my website in simply an issue of hrs. The simplicity of usage may be one factor why in a CNBC study, even more than four in 10 small-business stores (42 percent) stated they had actually marketed on Facebook within the previous few months. The Facebook advertisements I evaluated weren't satisfied with virtually the very same success as the Reddit posts and no sales have yet come in as an outcome.

2 Ways You Can Use Profitable Business Ideas To Start With Little Money To Become Irresistible To Customers
As a press reporter at CNBC Keep it that’s covered a few of the most incredible means individuals have actually earned money– including a 28-year-old whose company has made millions getting points at Walmart and also re-selling them on Amazon.com and also a business owner that started marketing board games out of his living room– I wondered to learn if it was as simple as they made it seem. Could someone like myself without prior experience really start a successful organisation with little time to spare and also even less money? With a budget of less than $1,000, 2 weeks time to introduce something and also a strategy to contribute all profits to charity, I established out to find the solution. I will not have to meet, print or ship anything myself. Establishing the entire service– from site, to styles, to LLC to savings account– took around 50 hours of work and cost me much less than $600. With the very first two components of my challenge complete, I set my eyes on the third and also aimed to ramp up advertising initiatives in order to make best use of earnings. The first post that went up in the/ r/Bitcoin subreddit a day after launch garnered over 5,000 views. The web traffic resulted in one sale, after that two, after that nine by day’s end. After evaluating the site with sales from friends and also household on launch day, true sales gathered after uploading on Reddit. And also to be fair, it did seem like a dream. Every hour or so after posting, one more Shopify alert would certainly turn up on my phone discussing that a human somewhere in the globe wished to pay $20 for among my t shirts. I even got up to sales that closed while I was resting– an additional $20 in earnings. The dream really did not last long, however. At a minimum cost of $1 a day, I can target those who had an interest in cryptocurrency, then better restrict age arrays, gender, income degrees as well as also, you thought it, political affiliation. Utilizing images of several of my bestsellers, I was able to introduce advertisements that track when and how usually individuals click via to my website in simply an issue of hrs. It was also fairly simple to duplicate those advertisements over to Instagram. Making use of both, I established a budget of simply $3 a day and also let Facebook deal with the rest.
