Summary: Dean cheated on Reader who is a Lightwood. They date Simon and eventually bump into Dean again

Dean's P.O.V

I glanced down at the text for the 6th time, 'you're making a mistake and should be ashamed of yourself', of course Sammy wouldn't understand. Y/N is the love of my life and although we've only been together for a few months, I would love to spend the rest of my life with her. However, she doesn't know I'm a hunter, therefore I have to break her heart so she doesn't get sucked into this life, or worse. Killed. That's how I found myself on a Thursday evening, at a bar, the key to her little apartment in my pocket, feeling heavier than it should. She had texted me saying she'd be back by 9pm, which means I have about an hour to find someone to take back. Why? Because I need her to hate me and break up with me to save her life, she's not meant for the hunter life. Before I change my mind, I notice a woman checking me out. I finish my shot and head over to her, I know I need to get her back at the apartment way before Y/N arrives so she can find us in bed together, although I'm not even sure I'll be able to even get it up, Y/N has ruined me for everyone else.

Y/N's P.O.V.

I have to tell Dean about who I am. I have to tell him about not only the shadowworld but that I'm also a Shadowhunter, and not just any Shadowhunter, I'm a Lightwood. I can do this. As I'm driving, I get a call from Jace, answering, "hello" I asked annoyed. "Are you coming back soon? Can't have you missing the wedding. Magnus and Alec want to have it by next week" he says all in one breath. "Yeah I'll be back, I need to go now" and I hang up, maybe I can bring Sam and Dean to the wedding. As I walk into the apartment I was renting, I felt something was very wrong. I took out my stele and drew on a stealth rune before putting it back away and taking out my seraph blade. I noticed the door was unlocked and walked in, wondering if Dean was home or if he was in danger. As I walked into the living room I heard it, Dean was grunting in pleasure, as well as another woman moaning, in that moment I also heard my heart shatter. I walked into my room and there he was, on top of her. All I could do was stand there, due to my rune activated, it took them about 3 minutes before the woman noticed me and screamed, Dean turning to look at me, unfazed. I unfroze and went to pack my small suitcase, "please don't stop on my account, let me just pack up and leave. Just make sure to leave by the end of the week when my lease is up" I tried to stay strong, the anger evident in my voice but no tears spilling. It wasn't until I was done packing, that I noticed the woman had pushed Dean off and got her clothes, apologizing, I could tell she felt bad because she didn't know he was taken, and Dean, he only sat on the bed. I turned to look at him, again he was unfazed, then I turned to the girl and simply nodded at her and walked out. It wasn't until I was in my car that I let the tears fall. I texted Sam asking if he knew and his only response was 'I'm sorry'. Well fuck.

6 months later

I had been honest with my siblings, they all wanted to go and find the Winchesters to give Dean a piece of their minds but I told them to leave it, that I was done trying to date, Alec and Jace were completely happy with that. Now though there was a knock on my bedroom door, assuming it was one of my siblings I opened it, it was the daylighter, Simon. "Hi Simon" I said smiling, he was adorkable. I had properly met him at the wedding as I was with my father and Max at the LA institute when him and Clary had first found out about the Shadow World. Then I studied mundanes up close and that was how I ended up spending a few months dating Dean. "Hi Y/N, I was hoping to ask you a question" he asked looking down and getting extremely shy, how cute. I nodded, "would you like to go on a date with me? I asked for Alec, Jace, and Izzy's permission before asking!! I even asked your mom" he quickly spills out, I can't help but giggle. Since mom was deruned, she had begun to grow as a person and even reconnected with us, I was more of the forgotten child growing up, with Alec being the perfect soldier, Jace being the perfect son, Izzy being the troublemaker and Max being the baby, I was simply average and lost to the shadows. "Of course!" I told Simon, he smiled, I could see his fangs poking out. I figured since it's been about 6 months since everything with Dean, I was ready to go back out into the world, plus Simon was afraid of all my siblings so I knew he wouldn't do anything to hurt me unless he wanted to get killed again.

4 months later

Dating Simon for the past 4 months has been such an amazing experience. Clary eventually got her memories back, and was back with Jace, who has asked Luke for his permission to propose. As for Izzy, she finally got the courage to ask out Maia and they've been dating for about a month but I can sense that they're meant to be.

"Jace are you sure this is the place?" I whisper as we walk towards an abandoned warehouse. There had been sightings of a few rogue vampires, about 5 of them but tonight we were all on patrol and meant to take them to Raphael's clan. It was Alec, Jace, Izzy, Clary and me. "Yes this is where Overbeck said they were spotted entering yesterday" he grumbles. We all begin to activate our stealth runes before getting any closer, I get out my sword, which is attachable to the gear I've got. I also double check my boots and ensure I have my seraph and stele. We all look at each other and notice everyone has their respective runes activated and their preferred weapons in hand. As we walk into the warehouse, the first thing I notice is the Winchesters tied up in the middle. They both turn and see us, confused to see me. As soon as they notice us, so do the vampires and we begin to work.

As we finished and got them all down, Clary created a portal. "I'll take them and you guys figure out what to do with these guys" says Raphael when Alec came back from entering to let the Clan know we had the vampires. As him and a few others took the rogues, Jace and Izzy began to untie Sam and Dean. "Uhh guys, these are Sam and Dean, the ones I told you about like 10 months ago" I state, nervous my brothers and sister will actually kill the Winchesters. Izzy and Jace stop untying and quickly retie them, "we'll just leave them here" Izzy states and her and Jace walk away from them, "WHAT?" Sam asks confused. "Uh yeah my siblings are a little overprotective" I look at the brothers, not really caring if they do stay there, after all Dean did cheat and Sam did know and didn't tell me. Suddenly there's a portal and out walk Simon and Magnus, oh no. "What exactly did you see" Alec asks, always the diplomat, making sure mundanes aren't aware of the shadow world, that's why Mags and Si are here, to erase their memories. "They were vampires, we hunt them" Sam starts, getting ready to do the whole spiel, while Dean doesn't stop staring at me. "Oh they're mundane hunters, I wasn't aware there were still some existing" Magnus says, delighted. "Rogue downworlders can evade the clave for a while and sometimes in being too cautious of the Shadowhunters, they make themselves easy to be spotted by mundane hunters" Magnus explains to us. "Wait, you mean to tell us, we grow up training to protect the mundanes, and yet there's mundanes stupid enough, that aren't born with the Sight, and go and look for rogue downworlders?" Jace asks, flabbergasted. "I've read about these I also know there's some who kill innocent downworlders, which then the clave does have to get because they know the downworld will fight and it could have broken the accords" Alec says. "You dated a mundane hunter and didn't know" Izzy finally asks me and I tell her I had no idea. "Wait you dated one of these guys" Simon asked, I could tell he was getting insecure, he felt the Winchesters were very good looking. "Unfortunately" is all I mutter and I can tell Dean looks heartbroken. "Ok well, Sherman, you're the vampire, encanto them into forgetting" Magnus tells Simon, who looks alarmed, he still struggles with the encanto. "Vampire? Y/N let us out and we can kill them and then take you to safety" Dean says, starting to struggle with how tight my siblings tied them. I can't help but laugh, "you want to kill my boyfriend and think I'll go with you?" I ask as I grab Si's hand and interlock our fingers together, I can sense the surprise in him, clearly thinking I'd want to be with Dean over him, this poor boy has serious self worth issues but it's ok I'll continue to love him enough for the both of us. The Winchesters look surprised, "Y/N he's a monster, are they all vampires? Did you get turned into one?" Sam begins to question. "One, how dare you call my boyfriend a monster! Simon is so fucking handsome, funny, intelligent, adorkable, and respectful. And he's not a fucking cheater! Also two, out of this group, he's the only vampire, we're all part of the shadow world, one is a warlock, and the rest of us are shadowhunters, we spend our entire lives dedicated to keeping mundanes such as yourselves safe so how about we let you go and you go on and live normal mundane lives while we do our jobs and actually protect you from demons and anyone else that goes rogue" I say, absolutely pissed that they would try to demean my family like that. I just squeeze Si's hand and look at my family, "let's just go home and leave them tied up". Magnus senses how hurt I am and opens a portal to straight to the institute and everyone walks through. As Simon and I are about to walk through I turn to look at the Winchesters one last time, I can sense that Sam managed to untie himself and before he begins to untie Dean, I tell them my final goodbye and to try not to look for us or there will be consequences.

Word Count: 375

* Reader’s P.O.V. *

If someone told me today would be my one year anniversary with a beautiful raven haired girl 1 and a half years ago I wouldn’t have believed them.

* Flashback *

I walked out of my college doors before walking to my apartment that I shared with a friend. I was walking through the park when I saw her. She was so breath taking even when fighting and she could handle herself. As I walk past her something was approaching her from behind so I tried to stop it but it attacked me instead, As I went down, I watched her fight the rest of whatever she was fighting. As the last one went up in flames she rushed over.

“You okay?”she sounded like an angel “You’re not okay. Silly Isabelle” She lifted my arm to reveal the injury. “You’re dying” she said sadly. As I nodded she looked shocked no one should see her. “This shouldn’t happen.” She quickly went through all the shadow world creatures before processing and grabbing out her stele. “This will burn” She said starting to draw with it but before she finished I passed out.

When I woke I was in a place I hadn’t been to before but I heard her angelic voice.

“Alec, hes one of us just like Clary is”

“He’s a mundane Izzy. He was raised one, even if he has shadowhunter blood he is a mundane. End of discussion”

As the door opened and I met her eyes. As she approached I realised she was even more breathing taking.

“Mundane?” I asked confused.

“Human not from the shadow world. Um what should I call you?” She replied giving me a beautiful smile.

“I’m human nothing special about me and my names Y/N”

“Everyone is special in a way but you are like me. I’ll train you personally. You’ll know as much as I do”

* Back to Present Time *

And she did train me and over the training sessions we got closer. We started dating a few months into training which is how we got here. We are currently in the park where we ultimately meet having a picnic as I put the ring box in front of her.

Summary: After Y/N leaves Central City she moved back to the Institute and Jace finally reveals his feelings for her and they start dating. What happens when Team Flash decides to come look for her in Brooklyn and accidentally capture her parabatai, threatening to kill her, unless she tells them where Y/N is. Will she reveal herself to them?

4 Months Ago: "Y/N I know it's only been two months since you got back from Central City but I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me" Jace says as I walk into the weapons room. "Clary told me y'all were dating" I tell him as I grab a Seraph blade, semi confused. When I met Clary, she seemed kind of jealous by how close Jace and I were but eventually warmed up to me and we became good friends, not close friends though. "Well she lied, so yes?" he asks, slightly irritated that Clary lied to me. "Yes, tomorrow night" I say and go and train with Izzy, telling her what happened. As I'm walking out of training I bump into Clary, "I don't want to repeat what happened in Central City so please don't hate me but I'm going on a date with Jace. We've been best friends for years and I've always wanted this" I tell her truthfully. "I'm sorry, after what you went through two months ago, I shouldn't have been selfish, ever since I was forced into this world all I did was be selfish, I won't get in between you guys, forgive me" she asked sincerely. I smile at her and we hug, slightly giggling.

Present: "Y/N would you like to go on a date with me to maybe the pizza place on main street?" Jace asked, so many things have been happening with Lilith that we haven't gone on a date in a while. "Sure, usual time?" I asked as I walked into the common room as Alec is talking to Izzy. "Of course" he says kissing me on the cheek and walking towards the Lightwoods as Clary approaches me. "You guys seem happy together" she says smiling. I know this must be hard for her but she's been super supportive of us, something I realized I should've done with Barry and Iris. I wonder how they're all doing. Especially Caitlin, last we saw each other was painful. "Wanna help me get ready for tonight?" I ask and she nods excited. We giggle and walk to my room. A few minutes later Izzy walks in, "you didn't invite me" she pouts giggling. I decided on leather pants, a noodle strap black crop top and some black wedges. I decided not to wear makeup other than red lipstick that Izzy let me borrow. "Have fun" she says "What are you guys going to do" I asked curious. "We're going on a mission, apparently a fast mundane has been asking about shadowhunters so we're going to find him" Clary replies before Izzy says anything. I freeze. Bartholomew. "Go on your date and don't worry about it. We'll take care of it" Izzy says and grabs my hand and leads me to the common room. "I know who it is, please don't go after him. He's looking for me" I tell her quietly. "Who is he" "He's the one that got me killed" I say before Jace walks in. He kisses me and I look at Izzy one last time before we go to our favorite pizza place for a nice night. Not knowing Izzy was going to talk to Barry... alone.

Barry's P.O.V.

We were next to an old abandoned church. It was me, Caitlin, Iris, Cisco and Joe. They wanted to come with me, I had finally managed to ask Caitlin why she didn't want me to search for Y/N's body when she finally told me the truth. Now I'm in Brooklyn, wanting her to come back. After I saved Iris, she started dating Eddie again, that's when I realized the one for me was Y/N. Out of the church came a woman in all black. She had long black hair. I ran and grabbed her, tying her up, there was a chair and Joe made her sit on it. "What do you know about shadowhunters" I asked her, noticing she had the exact same tattoos as Y/N. "Leave" is all she grumbles. "I think she's a shadowhunter" Cisco says excitedly. "Where's Y/N?" "She's better of without you getting her killed. At least here she's loved" she spits out. "Please I'm her best friend" Caitlin begs. The lady laughs, Iris goes and slaps her leaving everyone shocked. "You? Her best friend? I have a rune that begs to differ. Her and I are connected, our souls are as one. If you kill me, you kill a part of her, how's that for best friends" she says. "Find her phone" Joe says. "You won't reach her, her phone is always left at the institute during date night" the mysterious woman says. I feel a pang of jealousy, she's on a date? Joe looks through her contacts, "I feel like we should call Jace or Simon" Cisco says giggling, excited to be meeting nephilim. "This is serious Cisco" Caitlin says, not regretting her choice to tell me the truth. I noticed how the woman's eyes widened when Cisco said the name Jace. "Try Jace" I said serious.

Third P.O.V.

Jace and Y/N were talking when he got a phone call. "It's Izzy" he says answering, putting it on speaker since we were the only two at the pizza place. "This is Barry Allen. We're next to the broken church on main. Give us Y/N and this woman goes unharmed." he says and hung up. "It's Barry" Jace says getting mad, the only ones that knew the whole truth about Central City were Magnus, Jace, Raphael, and Alec, Y/N didn't want Izzy to worry so she never mentioned the details, just the overall that she got shot by a crazy man.

Barry's P.O.V.

"She hates you" the woman, we found out her name is Isabelle, says. "She is my best friend and I will take her home" Caitlin says, proudly. "Again, she's my best friend, my sister, my literal other half. Also Jace won't let her go. And if you think she'll leave with you, you're going to have to get through vampires, werewolves, seelies, warlocks, shadowhunters, and lastly me. Every downworlder and shadowhunter loves her. Like I said, we protect our own here, you just let them die." Isabelle says, I notice Iris, Joe and Cisco suddenly look afraid. "I'm not afraid of monsters" I say, knowing I'll be taking Y/N home, especially once I tell her i love her. "Maybe we should leave" Cisco suddenly squeaks out. "I'm going to agree with Cisco" Joe says but Caitlin answers before I do, "we're not leaving without my best friend."

"Back away from Izzy" I hear a very angry deep voice say. "Hi Alec!" Isabelle says happily and walks up from the chair. I just realize she was untying herself as we talked. "call for backup" he tells her and he points an arrow straight at me. "I'm the fastest man alive, so that won't really work" I say and flash to him and get the arrow then back to my original spot. He immediately has another arrow pointed at me. He's almost as good as Oliver. Almost.

Caitlin's P.O.V.

I notice Isabelle is calling someone, is it Y/N? "We just want Y/N" Iris says and the guy named Alec points the arrow at her. Now I'm starting to get nervous. Suddenly there's some type of portal and 3 guys walk out with a redhead. "Heard you're here for Y/N/N" the palest guy asked, he had some latino features but he was extremely pale. Barry grabs the Isabelle girl and holds her tight. "Let go of her" Alec says and grabs Iris, this is getting extremely dangerous. Suddenly someone walks in and says, "You let her go or I swear to god!" I turn around and it's..

Y/N's P.O.V.

"You let her go or I swear to god!" I say walking in and notice Bartholomew had grabbed my parabati. "You heard her" Barry says to Alec, Raphael starts to laugh. "Y/N-" Caitlin starts as she steps closer to me. "I meant you Bartholomew Henry Allen, don't you dare lay your hands on my best friend" I say ignoring Caitlin, I am furious with her. She promised she wouldn't tell them. "What? Y/n I love you, let's go home, to Central City" Barry says, I sigh and take out my seraph blade, "let go of my best friend" I say getting into a stance, that's when I notice everyone had gotten into their own fighting stance. "Ok, let's just talk this out" Cisco says getting in between me and Barry. "Francisco move before something happens to you." I say looking straight at Barry. "We won't repeat ourselves, let go of Izzy and you can have your mundane back" Alec says, his grip on Iris tightening, she winces but I don't even care. Barry lets go of Izzy, knowing that he may be the fastest man alive but he won't be able to save his entire team. Once Izzy gets to me safely Alec throws Iris back at Barry. Immediately Izzy is standing with her snake out. "What the fuck are you doing here? Couldn't you just stay in Central?" I ask pissed but slightly more calm when Jace stands next to me and holds my hand. "Y/N I love you" Barry says and I can't help but laugh. "You sure didn't love me when you looked into my killer's eyes and told him to spare Iris and not me. You could've saved us both but no, you wanted me dead" I tell him, knowing it was easy to find us because he had made us all get tracking rings so he'd be able to find us. "I didn't know where you were" he said crying trying to get close to me. Jace gets in front of me and Izzy gets ready in case he gets too close, "What about the rings? You gave us rings so you'd find us, you could've saved us both but you wanted to be the hero in her story, not our stories" I say knowing he wanted to save her so she'd fall in love with him. "I made a mistake" is all he whispers. "Y/N-" Caitlin starts. "Don't even speak bitch" Is all I tell her and begin walking away. "Go home Flash. You're not needed here. I see you again and I will kill you, that's a promise" Is all I say and walk into the Portal that Magnus had created, I needed a movie night at the Bane apartment with all my friends, they quickly follow behind, understanding what I wanted.

You looked around the flat not seeing the owner. It was weird since you told him you will come. Suddenly there was commotion and shouts in different room, so you headed in that direction. You were shocked seeing freed demon in the middle and bunch of hunters around. You locked your eyes with Magnus the moment redheaded girl stabbed the creature. You knew it wasn’t enough, so before it hurt anyone more you shot blue ball of your magic. It hit him in the middle of his chest and soon there were only ashes left. You slowly made your way to Magnus who was standing with a tall shadowhunter “I always thought you were stupid, but I never considered brain damage” You teased smirking “It’s good to have you back (Y/N)” He hugged you thightly “So now you’re helping shadowhunters?” You eyed the tall guy “I’m helping Clary” Your eyes shined at the mention of her name and you immediately looked at the redheaded girl “So Jocelyn’s gone” You more of asked with hurt written on your face “Valentine took her” Clary said looking from you to Magnus “You knew her too?” “Of course I did” You laughed “I’m the one who helped her escape” “So you knew Valentine too?” The dark girl spoke up “We met few times” Your face went blank and you looked back to your friend “I’m going to stay at my old place. Call if you need me” You winked and left without a second glance 3rd person’s P.O.V When Alec, Jace, Izzy and Clary came into the Institute Jace was quick in checking your profile. Alec stood beside his parabatai looking at the footage of one of your actions “She’s insanely dangerous, super powerful, she controls minds” He said looking rather pissed at Jace “She’s hot” His friend stated not taking his eyes off of you Alec sighted and left Jace behind. It was true. You were beautiful and the way you held yourself was full of grace. You radiated with power. Your P.O.V You seat with Magnus remembering old times when hunters showed up again. You were irritated with them, but you promised that you will use your magic only in self defence. You were politely sitting back not speaking. Of course you would help Magnus if he’ll ask, but only then. You felt eyes on you, so you turned to see the blonde guy from the last time. If you weren’t wrong his name was Jace. You quirked your eyebrow and he looked away smirking. You could tell that he was one of those cocky guys. You had experience after all. ~*~ You watched how Magnus fell in love with Alec. You observed how Clary struggled with love to Simon and her crush on Jace. You watched how Izzy had to leave Meliorn breaking two hearts at once. You were just watching. Never stepping in. Letting events unfold. You let them have free will. Until now. “Come on Magnus!” You groaned “It’s useless” He mumbled and went back to his room, but you followed “You can’t just let go” You throw your hands up “He’s getting married (Y/N). He made his choice” “And it’s a wrong choice!” You sighted and said softly “Please Magnus. Don’t let him hurt” You took his hands in yours “You love him. And I can tell he’s falling for you too. Just please, don’t let him be someone he isn’t. We both know it’s not healthy” You smiled and saw the corners of his mouth twitch upwards ~*~ When you walked in all eyes were on you. You stayed behind and observed. Alec was sweating and looking around nervously. He needed a saviour and you were glad that you brought Magnus here. Lydia wasn’t hurt when she let him go, so that was good. The only person who was pissed was Maryse. But oh well, you never liked her. She was a coward in your eyes. Your smile grew with every step Alec took in Magnus’ direction. When they finally kissed your cheeks were already hurting and you couldn’t stop yourself from clapping. They both smiled at you and you hugged them and said congratulations. You highfived Izzy and stepped back again. You were just happily watching when a hand took yours and started dragging you away. You looked to the person to see broad shoulders and golden hair. The only person you knew that had a hairstyle like this was Jace. You rolled your eyes knowing he liked to be overdramatic. But you let him lead you to the roof where you saw beautiful view. You noticed that he never let go of your hand and that he never looked at the city. His eyes were trained on you taking in every detail. It was quiet nice knowing that someone admired you. You turned slightly to face him and his lips formed into a smile instantly “Why did you brought me here?” You asked with curiosity “I wanted to be the reason of your smile” Jace said with a twinkle in his eye “Well, you have what you wanted. What now?” You asked with a small smirk “There’s one more thing I want” He answered stepping closer and glancing at your lips “And what’s that?” You breathed out and your breaths melted “I want to kiss you” Jace whispered slightly brushing your lips “Do it” You whispered back and he didn’t hesitate to do so It was totally different from all the kisses you had before. It was full of passion, love and lust. It felt like you couldn’t get enough of each other. You clung to each other like it was last time. Like you were saying goodbye. But you knew it was just a beginning. You’ll never let go.
