Even if steddie isnt real at all and their scenes were supposed to be strictly platonic... why the fuck did the actors act like that. Like even if it wasnt written in the script, I feel like both of their performances were just charged with tension. I'll be honest Steve's actor does a lot of lip staring at men

Robin never really got boys talk.
When Sarah turned 14 she invited all the girls in band for a sleepover. It started out fun. After her parents went to bed they put on a creepy horror movie and watched it in a huge cuddle pile. They braided each other's hair and did each other's nails and squeezed each other during tense scenes and muffled their shrieks after a sudden jumpscare.
After that they watched another one. This time Sarah sneaked her mother's makeup kit down to the living room, and so lipstick and eyeshadow joined the mess of nail polish, hair clips and snacks already on the floor.
The second movie was different. In the first one, the blood was obviously fake and the acting wasn't the best (to say the least). But the second one was tense through and through. The cries of pain were so visceral that Robin shuddered, and in the end everyone was terrified. It was silently and unanimously agreed upon that everyone had had enough TV for the night. It was already 3 in the morning, but tomorrow was the weekend and right now Robin wouldn't be able to sleep even if she wanted to, and thus began Robin's first real boys talk.
It was funny at first. Sarah pretended to die of heartbreak when "the blond hot one" was unfortunately the second to die. Heather said the nerdy one with glasses and abs was cuter, which started a very heated discussion of whether blond or brown is the more attractive hair color. Robin had to defend her correct "redheads" opinion all by herself.
(When the others got into a stalemate Sarah turned to Robin. "C'mon", she pleaded, "you know that the blond one was hotter. Just tell us which one you found prettier! And don't forget that this is my birthday party."
Robin laughed at the ribbing, played a bit hard to get, until she finally admitted. "I actually found the first one who died the prettiest." Sarah was already halfway through her victory dance, when Robin corrected her. "No, I don't mean the dude. I mean the first one. The girl with the pink purse."
Everything was silent for a moment.
Then Emma laughed. "You don't have to be jealous Robin", she consoled, "you are also very pretty."
"Yeah, especially after our makeover!"
Robin laughed and agreed and continued on as if her world just hadn't been turned on its axis. Because she knew that the stirring in her gut and the beating of her heart had nothing to do with jealousy. She didn't find the blond one hot or the brunet one cute. That was the first time she really knew it. She liked the girl.)
It was a bit funny the first time, even though she couldn't really join. It got less funny the more it went on. Suddenly boys was the only thing everyone wanted to talk about. And worse: it wasn't just unreachable famous boys like singers or actors anymore. Suddenly it was all "oh, Steve Harrington is sooooo cute" or "oh my god, Tommy Hagan had suuuuuuch a glowup" and "I want to lick the sweat of his body after basketball practice" (this last one was applicable to multiple different people, including Steve and Tommy. It was not applicable for Chrissy when she exited cheerleading practice or Beth after football.)
She thought it would get better when Emma finally confessed to her crush and they actually got together, but no. It somehow got worse. Because "normal boy talk" turned into "experienced boy talk", and Robin wasn't allowed to admit that the only thing that got wet when she thought of Billy Hargrove was her mouth, because he made her want to throw up.
At first she'd say that she didn't have crushes. After a while of people refusing to believe her (even if she was telling the truth! Sometimes.) she started pretending to be into Steve Harrington. Every girl had a crush on Steve, so it made sense that she'd been embarrassed to admit that she was just like everybody else. He was way too far above her league for her friends to force her to "confess" and she could stare without fear when he passed by in the halls with the beautiful Tammy Thompson in his arms. Truly, it was a brilliant plan. It didn't stop the boys talk, though.
So she became a tomboy. She joined football and she hung out with boys and she cut her long hair into a bob. She lost a bit of touch with Emma and Sarah and the others, but she tried not to think about it too much. Instead she threw herself into sports and started hanging out more and more with Matt, the second trumpet in band.
And that was that. Sometimes she missed wearing dresses, but it was a relief not to have her mother insisting she "do something about that hair" anymore. She and Matt became best friends. She even considered telling him for a while. Until he sat her down and confessed his feelings.
She tried to let him down as gently as possible, and they never talked again. The cycle would repeat for multiple times.
Someone out there is laughing their ass off because who would have thought that the dude she pretended to have a crush on would turn out to be the missing half of her soul?
It started out like always. She teased him, he laughed. They suffered through customer service together. He was funny and surprisingly in touch with his emotions and apparently babysat a bunch of middle schoolers, which was equally hilarious and adorable to watch. They both enjoy sports and they both hate Billy Hargrove with a passion and Robin is heartbroken because she knows she can't get attached. She has already been through this too many times to allow it to happen again. She gets close with a guy, they become best friends, he confesses, she can't reciprocate, they never talk again.
This is what is going to happen. She should already be used to it, but it still hurts. It's better for her to keep her distance. To encourage him to flirt with other girls, even if she can see that he mostly does it to amuse her.
And then they uncover an actual real life Russian spy network right beneath their place of work like some fucking blockbuster. And then they are pumped up with drugs and the next thing she knows is that they are both throwing up in a cinema bathroom.
And then it happens. Of course it happens.
He starts his little speech and her heart is already breaking. She surprises herself when she realizes how much she started enjoying Steve's company. He is a dingus, but she is also a dingus and they just fit.
She is already preparing her apology in her head (oh fuck work is going to be so awkward), but what comes out instead is what she wishes she could've said every time this happened. What she wished she could have said every time she got close to another person, every time her parents questioned if she finally found a boyfriend. Something she really tried not to feel ashamed of, but it was so fucking hard when you had to keep it hidden all the time.
(She remembers when she used to train in front of the mirror. She would stare at herself and repeat again and again "I am Robin Buckley and I am a lesbian. I am a lesbian. I am-")
She doesn't breathe as she waits for what she knows what comes next. What has to come next. There is a reason she never told anyone, always kept it hidden and to herself even if she wanted to scream it into the world. He will mock her and he will out her and he will be disgusted and-
"Tammy Thompson?!"
Instead they have girls talk. And Robin finally gets it.

Here we go! The scene that started it all. The reason for the fic. Yes, the story is based on the song “Low Key in Love” by The Struts ft. Paris Jackson, but this was the scene that kept replying in my head until I wrote it. Also, you’ll need tissues. I cry every time I read this, sooo...
***
Let it not be said that that Alexander Harrington, known to his friends as Xander, didn’t know how to throw a party. When The Kings got signed his son’s senior year of high school, he threw the biggest bash the town had ever seen.
He had to invite everyone, of course. Though if he had had his way only the best people would have been able to come. But as he looked around his home satisfied, he figured it was a good thing to let the lowly masses see for once how the other half lived. Let them seethe in their jealousy and envy.
Steve on the other hand was miserable. He hated it. He hated Tommy. He hated Billy. And fuck it, let’s throw hating Jonathan in there as a treat. Because seriously what. The. Honest. Fuck? Where had he been hiding all that talent? Under a fucking rock? It wasn’t fair. Jonathan was naturally talented where Steve had to work so hard to get the moves right. Something Billy was always sure to mock.
He was sitting in his living room watching everyone have fun without him. People had long since stopped congratulating him on his record deal hours ago. Steve vaguely wondered where his father was. Probably smoozing with Tommy’s dad. Steve scoffed. He knew Alexander Harrington wouldn’t be deigning to talk to Joyce Byers or Neil Hargrove. One was working poor, the other was straight up trailer trash.
He could see Joyce talking to Jonathan in the corner of the room, rubbing his back and muttering comforting promises. Steve didn’t even think his mother had even stayed past greeting the parents of her son’s band before fucking off to get drunk off her ass in some fancy hotel bar. Portia Harrington did not mingle.
Steve got up and wandered in the direction of his room. Well, he tried to wander, but it was more like a beeline because no one even questioned his path or stopped him to say hello. In his own fucking house. Yeah. He was done.
He opened the door to his room and was shocked to see someone was already in it. The other boy had long brown, curly hair and deep soulful eyes. Steve gulped. He had never thought about how attractive boys could be until that moment.
Maybe there had been some fleeting crushes and even more fleeting glances at boys in the shower room or hot actors. But until this moment with this boy, Steve never really thought too deeply about it. He sure the hell was now, though.
“Hey!” the other boy said, whirling around to face him. “If it isn’t the man of the hour!”
Steve could smell the alcohol from here, but he wasn’t sure if it was that the boy had been drinking or if it was coming from the shirt the boy held in one of his hands. But now that he could see the boy’s face he knew exactly who it was.
“Munson, what the fuck are you doing in my room?” Steve spit out before his brain could catch up to his mouth.
Eddie blushed. His cheeks were already rosy with the alcohol but they burned red in embarrassment. “I was looking for the bathroom.”
Steve raised his eyebrow.
“Some asshole spilled drink on my favorite Dio shirt and I was trying to find a way to clean it,” Eddie said with a winsome grin, he held up the shirt to show him. Then he tried to take a step closer but tripped stumbling straight into Steve’s arms. “Did anyone tell you you have really pretty eyes?”
It was Steve’s turn to blush as he held Eddie up. “No. If anyone compliments me, it’s usually the hair.” He paused and cocked his head thoughtfully. “Or the ass.”
Eddie hummed appreciatively. “Both are pretty amazing,” he agreed, standing up enough to put one hand in Steve’s hair and the other on his ass.
Steve’s stomach swooped.
“You like that, pretty boy?” Eddie asked, pulling Steve closer.
He nodded and Eddie leaned forward to kiss him. Steve had been kissed and had kissed several girls up to this point, but this? This was on a whole other continent. It felt good.
Steve’s hands immediately went for Eddie’s hair, having been wanting to know what it felt like for years. And it was softer and silkier than he could have imagined.
Eddie broke off their kiss and Steve whined his loss. “Who knew Stevie boy liked the boys.”
Steve pressed forward and recaptured Eddie’s lips. Their hands immediately went for each other’s clothes, grasping and tugging as they tried to get at skin. They tumbled toward the bed as they scrambled to get Steve’s shirt and their pants off.
They land on the bed with a thump and a giggle. Steve’s shirt had gone and Eddie’s pants were unbuttoned.
“God, you’re gorgeous,” Steve breathed, straddling over Eddie’s hips.
Eddie grinned, reaching up for him. “Then come get me, big boy.”
Steve leaned down to kiss him again, just then the door slammed opened and Steve’s dad stood at the door. There was no mistaking Eddie for attacking Steve, not with Steve on top. It was very clear that both boys were very into what was happening too.
Mr Harrington pulled Steve off of Eddie throwing him to the ground. He wasn’t a beefy guy, but Xander Harrington boxed to keep in shape. Tossing a surprised Steve took very little effort on his part. He grabbed Eddie and hauled the drunk young man out the back door. He tossed him onto the cold hard pavement around the swimming pool.
“Get the fuck out of my house!” Mr Harrington sneered. “And if I see you back here before we leave for LA, just know I’ve got a shotgun and the best lawyers in the state.”
Steve who had been following close behind, rushed to Eddie’s side. He looked around for help, but of the few people milling about by the pool, none of them were paying this little drama any mind.
“And no son of mine will be a queer, do you understand?” Mr Harrington roared.
Steve tried to help Eddie to his feet, but Eddie kept shrugging him off.
“Eddie!” Steve murmured. “Just...please!”
Eddie looked over at Steve as if seeing him for the first time. He could tell that Steve hadn’t planned any of this. That Steve was just as distressed as he was about Xander Harrington’s rage. He let Steve help him to his feet and whispered. “Run away with me. Come find me tomorrow at the park behind the community pool.”
Steve nodded, a small, barely there movement. But it was enough. Eddie staggered away from the party, head pounding louder than his heart.
*
Steve showed up at the park picnic table, backpack slung over his shoulder, Eddie’s shirt in his hand. He managed to get it cleaned and dried so he could return it.
Eddie was already there nursing a hangover of epic proportions. He had dark circles under his eyes like bruises and red, puffy eyes. He whirled around to see Steve standing awkwardly at the edge of the trees.
“What do you want, Harrington?” Eddie snarled from the pain in his head.
Steve hesitated a bit before lurching forward with the shirt. “Um...you left this at my place last night. You said it was your favorite so I wanted to get it back to you.”
“So that’s where it went,” Eddie said, taking it from Steve gingerly, unsure were this bout of kindness was coming from.
“You don’t remember leaving it last night?” Steve asked, his voice cracking.
“Fuck, man,” Eddie sneered. “I drank so much last night I couldn’t even remember my own name this morning.”
Steve lips quiver. “You don’t remember any of it?”
Eddie snapped his fingers. “Wait I do remember being thrown out for kissing a guy. You wouldn’t have had anything to do with that, would you?”
Steve gulped taking a step back. “No! Of course not.”
Eddie eyed him warily. He could tell Steve was lying. But it was a strange kind of reaction. Like Steve was just as terrified of him, as Eddie was of Steve. That couldn’t be right.
“Whatever, man,” Eddie sneered. “Just go.”
Steve took a step toward him and Eddie leveled him with a glare. Steve stopped in his tracks, tears welling up in his eyes.
“You really don’t remember any of it?” he whispered.
“Not a god damned thing,” Eddie bit out. He was starting to worry that he had seen something he shouldn’t have or done something he shouldn’t have. Because Steve was really starting to freak out.
There was a snap of a twig beyond the tree line and Steve startled like a wounded animal. He turned around and ran the opposite direction of the noise and Eddie tilted his head.
What on earth had that been about?
Jeff came out of the trees with McDonald’s and hot coffee. “Best hangover cure there ever was.”
Eddie nodded and took his food from his friend. Jeff spotted the shirt next to him.
“Oh hey, man, you found it!” he said excitedly.
Eddie just nodded and munched quietly on his food. And as he ate, his head felt better but there was a great big black void where his memories of last night were concerned.
Over the next couple of days he kept expecting Harrington to come back, but the boy remained absent. He didn’t even know why he was waiting. Or what he was waiting for. But he felt it like a hole in his chest.
The next time he saw Steve Harrington in person was when he was introducing himself to the band at the sound check ten years later at the Love Loud concert as if they were total strangers. Just further proof the Munson Doctrine is never wrong.

Action - Tom Holland
Tumblr media
Word Count:  1.450 words
- Tom Holland x reader
Synopsis: When you went to visit your best friend in the set fo Captain America:Civil War, you didn’t expect he would listen you confessing yours feelings to two of his co-workers.
Masterlist
I saw our best friend running to us as soon as I step into the Civil War’s set with Harrison. Tom Holland was always our friend ever since we were kids and when he reached fame, he made sure we accompanied him in whenever we can. According to him that was the way he wouldn’t let the fame blind him since we were the connection to his old and simple life.
“Hey, guys!” Tom ran to meet us in the entrance of the set.
“Darling, you’re drooling.” Harrison whispered in me ear before go ahead and hug Tom before me.
I made a face to him since he did not let me kick him in a very painful spot and I was soon brought to a tight embrace.
“What took you so long?” Thomas asked and I almost laugh of Harrisson’ desperate face.
“Traffic!” He almost throw the words out of his mouth.
“Liar. He lost his wallet in my hotel and we had to go back and get it when we were almost here.” I said immediately and I admit that it was for revenge for him saying that I was drooling.
Tom shook his head to us but I could still see a smile playing in the corner of his lips.
“It’s okay, guys, come on inside. I have scene to shoot in ten minutes and wanted you to see it.”
My eyes widened almost instantly and I had to hold me back not to jump out of joy. “Which scene? Steve almost crushing you with a container or Tony recruiting you?”
Tom raised an eyebrow to me.
“Nothing about me finding out the spider signal in the web shooters Tony gave me or me beating up Winter Soldier?”
I shrugged while listening Harrison’ laugh.
“You cannot judge a girl for trying.”
Tom laugh of my answer hugging my waist while walking. I felt my cheeks blushing and my heartbeat speeding up to unimaginable levels. I looked over my shoulder and Harrison shot me a wink before follow us. I was sure he knew about my crush on Tom and I didn’t care, he was one of my best friends after all and we didn’t hide secrets. However, I would really thank him if he was discreet about it once I don’t intend to tell Tom about my feelings.
“Hey, boy, there you are!” I heard a voice shouting in our direction and I almost choked with my own saliva. “Look, looks like his little girlfriend finally showed up.”
I blushed even more, but I did not know if it was because the proximity with the boy I liked for almost all my life or it was because I was about to meet one of the actor I admired. When I turned my head to see him I almost fainted when I realised Robert Downey Jr. was with Paul Rudd.
“Hi, you must be Y/N.” Robert hold my hand but he didn’t shake it like I thought he would, he turned it and kissed back of my hand instead.
“Tom talked a lot about you.” Paul commented while doing the same. God, I think I am not feeling well. If this is heaven I don’t want to get back down.
I looked to Tom just to see him grinning down at me.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you.” I was sure my smile wouldn’t me bigger.
“Hi again, Harrison.” They said.
“And then? What did we lose?” he asked.
“Not much.” Paul answered while we walked back. “We’re about to film the beginning of the battle in the airport.”
“Y/N, you can keep my chair.” Tom announced not much after we get at the place.
“What about me?” Harrison mumbled.
“Let he be a gentleman with his girl.” Said Robert while doing a bad impression of a teenage girl.
“Don’t you see how cute they are together?” Paul provoked when he say my pink cheeks even with me trying to hide them with my hair.
“I don’t deserve it.” Tom grunted softly.
After we watched of first hand to Tom’s big entrance as Spiderman during the battle, the director give the cast a twenty-minute-break to the crew reorganize the set for the next scene. I stayed in Tom’s chair all the time with Harrison beside me. I intended to spend all the twenty minutes right there not bothering anyone even if inside I was dying to meet everyone.
When I saw Scarlett Johansson and Elizabeth Olsen approaching I was sure I would hyperventilate.
“Hey! Y/N, right?” asked Sacrlett.
“Y-yes.” I almost face palmed my own face for stutter.
“You’re really adorable.” Elizabeth commented, smiling softly to me.
I looked to where Harrison was supposed to be right beside me, but I found him foots away already.
Traitor.
I got up trying not to freak out completely. “It’s a huge pleasure to meet you.”
“Tom said you would like to meet us.” Said Scarlett.
“I absolutely adore Black Widow and Scarlet Witch and I don’t I would be able to choose better actress to the roles.” I ended up talking before even realise the words coming out of my mouth. “Sorry.” I blushed out of embarrassment.
Elizabeth laugh which relaxed my nerves a little bit.
“It’s okay, it’s good to know the sincere opinion of fans.”
I smiled as well, still a little taken aback.
“Come on, we will show you around.”
I walked with them and them treated me like I was already one of them.
“And who is you favourite hero? I mean, a male one.” Scarlett asked.
“Iron Man, without any doubt. He’s sarcastic and a genius, he didn’t need nothing abnormal happening to him to have powers, it was all work of his mind.”
They seemed impressed with my answer.
“And why not Spiderman?” Elizabeth asked genuinely curious.
“I never really liked Spiderman, not with Tommy talking about him all the time in my ear and arguing with Harrison which one was better, Spiderman or Batman.” They laughed about this. “I ended up looking more about Spiderman after Tom was scaled to the role so that way I would accompany him. Now I like the character a little bit, but not as much as I like the others.”
“Tommy, huh?!” Elizabeth joked.
“You looked about a hero you hated just because your friend was scaled?!” Scarlett has a playful voice tone and I became flustered when I saw her looking at me with a mischievous smirk. “Oh My God, you like him!”
“Wh-what?! No! Not really!” I tried to disguise my lie, but I knew they didn’t buy it.
“Don’t worry. Chris, Sebastian, Robert and Paul are talking to him right now.” Said Elizabeth. “And we are women, we recognize this look in love when we see one.”
I blushed even more and felt like suffocating. In the end, I felt as if I could tell them. Harrison already knew and it’s not like I can disguise anything when I am near Tom.
“Alright, I admit.” I grumbled. “I’m in love with Tom.”
“You what?!”
My eyes widened when I recognized the Britain accent. I almost didn’t took notice in Elizabeth and Scarlett’s expression, I just turned around to see a surprised Tom. I was determined to do anything not to ruin our friendship.
“Tom, look, I didn’t want you to know, I didn’t want to…”
I didn’t have time to finish my sentence. His soft lips collided with my own and I knew my heart made a stop for just one second before beating in an impressive speed. I kissed him back holding the Spiderman’s suit in the waist to pull him closer to me while he had one hand in the back of my neck and the other in my low back. The kiss was incredible, much more than I had ever imagined. It was caring and intense, as if he was trying to enjoy each second. When we finally pulled away, Tom had to hold me by the waist so I would not fall since my knees wouldn’t hold me up.
“What… What was that for?” I asked after stutter a few times.
“Something I wanted to do since we were fourteen.” He muttered against my lips. “I needed the guys opening my eyes about losing my opportunity and came here to tell you that.”
“And you walked into me confessing being in love with you”. I worked the puzzle, now smiling against his swollen lips.
“These words sounds better each time you repeat them.” That was everything he said before kissing me again.
This time I didn’t lose not even one second to return the kiss in the same intensity.
