Exceptional #Repost @seaside_signs 🌚 Peak Moment 🗻🟠 Last night's Full Sturgeon Moon rising behind the summit of Mount Baker and it's subsidiary peak on the southwest shoulder. Skiers climb Colfax Peak for some great springtime powder. Looking across Burrard Inlet, underneath the Lions Gate Bridge, over the Vancouver Centerm Terminal to the Supermoon peeking out behind an active glacier-covered andesitic stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcarnic Arc and the North Cascades of Washington in the United States... 116 km or 72 miles away from where I stood. . I chose this location AGAIN because I was hoping it would've been light enough to capture some alpenglow but it went dark quick and I ended up walking away with a silhouette. .
