I made some progress on the mask!

So using some elastic I had lying around in my drawer along with some cardboard and some more of the pool noodle I made the bottom jaw

I painted those areas black that way when I fur him if any of those spots are bare they won’t be awkwardly blue

The nose is covered in some leather from a busted cup holder from my parents golf cart

I’m currently working on the teeth using some “friendly plastic” (some plastic beads I can heat up and mold to any shape and let it cool to solidify) to make some base teeth I’ve been putting paper mache on to it makes teeth for him.

I have plans to see if my dad has any caulk laying around among his tools I can use to make the gums when the time comes for that.

since I am a person who has opinions and am free to speak on said opinions, as you are free to not acknowledge or disagree. I think that Equius would fucking love the idea of Warhammer 40000 (obviously he wouldn’t be able to build or play with the models, but he could probably commission things) and when I say he would love it, I mean he would probably be a diehard imperium fan boy but not the “HERESY HERESY HERESY” type but more of the worst kind that is like “the imperium is the best option of government”. he would have one homebrew space marine chapter called some shit like the Astra Equus and he would write fucking novels of lore for them.  Meanwhile Nepeta collects orks and splatters dollar store toys and shit in grime and greebles and makes a trukk or a battlewagon. and she also puts little cat ears on all of them. She calls them the green lions and their lore is that they are like giant murder cats with guns.

 Feel free to add your own personal opinions or to show up at my castle and throw rocks but be warned I have a wand of obliteration.

So I make art out of trash and so right now I’m making a costume of death from puss in boots out of trash.

I know it isn’t the best material to make a costume out of cause ya know sweat and like it could break but listen man foam is expensive and how else am I gonna be a scrunkly lil garbage goblin if I don’t make garbage art????

I made the base out of cardboard and have shaped him out using an old pool noodle and some foam packaging from when I bought my PC.

Once the base is completely sculpted I’ll add layers of blue paper towels soaked in glue which makes it very strong cause the blue paper towels absorb it all well and they are meant to stay in tact when wet and such so they be strong af

I stash a lot of trash (clean trash not anything like greasy or unsanitary) to make art out of.

I love to find uses for things people view as useless, in my eyes everything has some kind of use you just gotta find it. Plus if I make beautiful things out of trash it won’t end up in a land fill or the ocean.
