+In some matters of design, I recently had a heart-to-heart and realized I wasn't simplifying the forms and details simply to save time when animating, but to avoid drawing certain things I was struggling with, like more detailed faces, dimensions in clothing, HATS. So I took time the past two weeks to study and practice the weak areas, then adjusted Crane's last design version to match. I enjoy this a lot more, and this approach allows a lot more facial diversity and detail for the other characters also.
So, here's me practicing Crane's updated design, expressions, 1940s suits (that thankfully don't look as flat as I was previously drawing them), and hats :) Picked a totally random moody noir background that I could do in an hour or so-- I've no idea what Crane's reacting to XD Also, the project's in color, but I just like rendering the black and white film grain versions for fun-- I think they look neat :3

BLUE EXORCIST SHIMEJI MASTERLIST
I love collecting and archiving various Blue Exorcist stuff and lately I’ve been on the hunt for some Shimejis & I’ve successfully managed to recover a huge amount of old Shimejis that were said to be lost or broken and updated their code to the latest Shimeji-ee so they’ll work again!!
For those who don’t know, Shimeji’s are a desktop mascot for Windows that freely wanders and interacts with the screen! Requires latest Java to function! [tutorial here]
Please use the files in THIS post and not the ones in the listed source (if they’re available). Otherwise they might not work as intended since most are very dated.
If you find a broken download link and/or Shimeji, or if you’ve made a Shimeji and would like them to be added to this, let me know!
Shimejis can all be found below! With that being said, enjoy! :D

Finished making a cat ear beanie for my partner!
Figuring out the stitch placements to construct the ears was a pain. I couldn't follow the pattern for how I wanted them to look, bc I didn't want the long stitches to show behind the ears like they do in the pattern. I tried to make the ears curl in like a real cat's and not puff up like it had air inside looking like horns.
Their head is a lot bigger than mine and I had to try to adjust the pattern as best as I knew how. Bc it's so big it doesn't look completely right on me, but still! I think it's pretty good for my first completed knitting project in a long time.

Free advice no one asked for
I've been seeing this issue in many people's ts2 screenshots lately.
If you have an Nvidia GPU and your sims have weird lines on their faces, especially noticeable at the edge of lips, you can fix it quite easily (only if it bothers you, of course) with the Nvidia Inspector.
Just open the settings and turn Antialiasing fix on for your game. This should fix it. At least it worked for me in all 2/3/4 sims games.
This is a well-known fix in ts3&4 communities, but I haven't seen it brought up that much in the context of ts2.
(here, some kind person wrote a better tutorial for ts4, with images)

For anyone familiar with AO3, can someone help me out regarding a problem I'm having with uploading images onto a fic?
Several years ago I wrote a fic and placed two images in it which uploaded without any issues, but recently the images stopped loading onto the fic and I'm not sure what the problem is
I had originally made the art myself and uploaded them onto my old DeviantArt account so that I AO3 would recognize the source URL. Like I said above there wasn't any problems with the images not appearing until only a few months ago...
