I miss your 'I will not ask and neither will you' fic. I love the soulmate trope when it actually goes into character development and not just uwu it's meant to be.

I also miss Truthteller.... Have five details and hope I find the time and words to make an update in '22:

- Inko has a soulmate by one of her parents. That will actually make her more wary of Toshinori and his bond with Izuku at the start, not less. She knows how much forced honesty can mess a kid up.

- Naomasa can create a temporary truth bond with someone else, but will never have a "real" soulmate because of that. AfO has a similar stolen quirk- one that lets him force others to tell the truth, but not himself. He uses it to keep Tomura under the impression that they're bonded

- Makoto has the same quirk as her brother, but activated by touch. This means she knew the truth about Koichi way earlier and the Vigilante team had a different path, which is connected to why Ingenium is mentioned to have arrested Toga prior to the start of the story, and more ripples will keep going from there through the story.

- All Might ensured that Sludgey wouldn't tell anyone about his two forms. He did not ensure Sludgey wouldn't say anything about the quirkless boy who's his soulmate. This will also be create ripples and tsunamis. At least he didn't hear about OfA lol...

- Izuku will get removed from Aldera, and attend a different school, in a class with a future UA classmate.

- Izuku has two soulmates in class 1A, one he meets at the exam and one he meets later. Being soulmates-in-law with All Might kinda means automatic admittance into the OfA meetings

- oh no I can't count... Really do want to write more of this now though...

Anything new going on with your truthteller AU pocket?

The slowest of progress which sucks because I love it, but have a snippet of something in the future:

"How does it look?" Izuku asked, his eyes squeezed closed.

Inko opens her mouth but he cuts her off.

"No, Yagi-san, you answer first. How does it look?"

"Good! It's different, but you don't look bad at all." The man tries to sooth, and Tsukauchi pinches his brow. It leaves two little dark smudges behind.

"You look very grown up." She agrees. And even if she's not bonded, it's the truth.

He doesn't look like her little baby anymore.

Izuku slowly opened his eyes.

Soulmate AU: Are there any affects on quirks between soulmates in your AU? Like a power up, erratic behavior or just something 'off' ?

The truth bond soulmate au? For the vast majority of quirks, no, there's no effects or links. There is a small number of quirks based around the manipulation of soulmate bonds, however, and the bonds can have strange affects on mindsets and vice versa

#plus whatever danger ping miritama got. shout out to the only planned romo bond in the au lol #but yeah that's not a quirk thing #ummmmm oh yeah there is also something about ofa where if a user wasn't bonded to the last one before getting it passed on (unlikely) #then they would be after. users suspect this is an aspect of the stockpile carrying from previous holders #but honestly they might all be bonded initially anyway #bc fate needs to get rid of any doubts as to the verification of this weirdo telling you to eat their hair and run #anon #truthteller bond au #pocket talks to people #i do have other Soulmate aus and though quirks don't have an effect on wrist names either (baring that longevity tends to mean more) #i might make a more quirk related soulmate au one day #could be fun

Does All Might have any other soulmates besides Izuku. I have the oddest feeling that his meeting Inko will have a much different outcome than you would think for some reason...

All Might has only ever met one soulmate before Izuku, that being Nana.
