Hello, Everyone!

My goodness! We have quite a few new followers and I'm SO freakin' excited about the growth of our community. I can't wait to see all of you come together on Equus-Sims.

I'm THIS close to (re)launching and have scheduled a tentative LIVE launch party for this weekend. I'll be dropping a specific date and time tomorrow–be sure to subscribe to my posts so you don't miss a beat.

During the launch party, I'll be hosting a live audio event on our Discord where you can hop on, chat with me, and ask any questions you might have about Equus-Sims. TS4 Lepacy Challenge (or how TS4 finally got me) pt.2

Gen 9: Vampires + Vintage Glamour stuff

This generation was really, really boring! I'm not into the supernatural theme, so... Forgotten Hollow is tiny, but it's kinda cool for certain sims (great for photos and storytelling). The sim was a real sweetheart, and just because of that, I didn't skip this generation. He was an apprentice to Count Vladislaus Straud, met a girl in Windenburg, found the cure for vampirism, and had a daughter with her. He had a butler and lived in a luxurious house.

Gen 10: Parenthood + Movie Hangout, Kids Room & Toddler stuffs

Babies, babies, and more babies. This girl had a HUGE family! And I tried to follow everything that was asked for in this generation. She married young and had only one love her entire life. She had as many children as she desired, adopted a child, and kept a super well-tended and beautiful garden. This expansion pack is really cute and adds a lot of depth to the relationship between parents and children. It was fun taking care of so many kids, but exhausting! She lived in Newcrest since there wasn't a city requirement.

Gen 11: Cats & Dogs + Laundry Day & My First Pet stuff

In this generation, I ended up getting more attached to the couple's youngest daughter. She was "different," you know how it is. She was all about animals, ran her own vet clinic and worked hard every day. She had a house full of cute kitties and adopted a little girl. Brindleton Bay is simply amazing! I spent a lot of time exploring the town. The pets expansion is also adorable, and I think it's my favorite of all the game's generations (I hardly ever played with pets in TS2 and TS3 because I found it too much work).

(Looks like someone finally got Reshade!) In this generation, I started feeling like taking pictures again, maybe to post them here someday. It's hard to get back :(

Gen 12: Jungle Adventure

I took so many screenshots in this generation, but they just disappeared. I don't know what I did wrong =(

She was a journalist and explorer. Explored a lot of Selvadorada and wrote books about her travels.

Selvadorada is beautiful, but BORING! It was a short generation because I couldn't handle it anymore. I really loved her, but I lost her to an exploration curse.

Gen 13: Seasons + Spooky & Backyard stuff

My long-awaited Seasons expansion! It was such a cute generation!

He reached the top of the gardening career, tended to his garden, and followed all the holiday traditions. He had a little daughter who was a scout. They lived a quiet life in Brindleton Bay.

He tried to make up for everything his mom missed out on because she was always traveling. But they had a good relationship until the end.

Gen 14: Get Famous (Part 1)

OMG, I never thought I'd have such a blast with this expansion! It turned out to be one of the longest ones 'cause I turned off aging in the game.

Del Sol Valley is beautiful but small. Again! I think that's one of the few downsides of TS4 cities. There's very little space for lots. I had so many ideas for this city...

The expansion is really fun, the acting career is well-developed, and it was quite challenging to become a celebrity! I loved all the games, parties, and schemes she had to pull off to truly be considered a star. But most of all, the hard work. I maxed out all the necessary skills. She was perfect! She was the boss! Rich, famous, choosing who she wanted to be with and how. After a while, her job was just being beautiful, hitting the gym, and dodging the paparazzi.

The only one not vibing with all this was her daughter, who went nuts.

Happy October! Only 13 more days until Halloween :)  I don’t have much “spooky” cc in my game but i wanted to make something, so here’s a sim i threw together.  I’m sorry it’s not edited, I don’t have any sort of photo editing software :( I hope you guys like her anyways! I don’t have any DLCs that add supernatural sims but I went ahead and attempted a werewolf! (And yes I know ts4 doesn’t have them haha) But anyways, let me know what you guys think!!

Hello Hello! I am back after a long while with some prints for my TS4 people out there. I know what you are thinking...hey these should of been posted during the Halloween season. Well you might be right but these types of prints go in my personal sims houses all year long so I don't see them as merely halloween or spooky paintings. But they are paintings for sims who are strange and unusual and celebrate the witching hour every day of every year. Or for those teenagers who like a little pop of weird in their pretty normal room. These photos are for everyone! The art is by Ally Burke who you can find on instagram.  These are on a BASE GAME frame that I use with all my other prints which you can find here. They come in gold & dark brown frames so they can be mixed and matched with my other paintings as well. I hope you enjoy!  -also sorry if the preview photo is ugly...I couldn't figure out how to decorate the room..sorry.

Britechester Castle by SushiMarilyn

This castle has been a wip almost since Discover University was released. While I built the shell, I didn’t realise it’s going to take a long time to furnish. Now it’s finished, though. I built it as a library, but it has a lot more in it than just bookshelves! This castle is centuries old and its use has changed from its royal times. There are a lot of secrets and rooms to discover. I participated in James Turner’s “Searching For Semaj” challenge with this and there’s 5 gnomes hidden on the lot. You can try find them all!

Last replies before I move to my dorm tomorrow! Prague, here I come. 

I’m in this weird state of freaking out and being calm at the same time. It’s hard to explain. It’s very different from how I felt the day before starting high school, I remember crying about how badly I don’t want to go there. As for today, I’m actually looking forward to the classes. Especially the history ones. Oh my god, and I’ll see my new friends again on Thursday! Maybe even tomorrow, but I’m not counting on that. I’m so exciteeeeed.

I don’t think I can give you any updates on my sims saves at the moment. I played a bit of Roses (finally!), a bit of my Realm of Magic save, a little bit of NSB...but mostly I just recoloured stuff. I’ll release it for simblreen I think, even though it’s not Halloween themed at all. For one of the tops I’ve even taken the preview pictures and the only “spooky” thing about them is that they were taken in Forgotten Hollow. But oh well. I mean, at least you’ll be able to use my simblreen treats all year!

Something I had to do in TS3 when I attempted something like this was remove almost EVERYTHING that was fun to get them to socialize at ALL. Because they would rather do something fun than talk. Before that, I would manually tank their social so they would have a NEED to talk. Yeah, it's kind of cheaty but, jeeeeesh.

Here’s a tiny spoiler: I moved the whole BC household to Twinbrook, which is most definitely smaller than St Claire (and, being an EA world, it has to be somewhat optimalized to run on all PCs I believe)...and suddenly my high free will is working, there are interactions between the sims...I love that! Wish I had realized that earlier though, it could’ve made the BC more interesting. Oh well, it was a learning experience. I might do another BC in the future. Keyword might. It definitely won’t happen next month.

that sounds horrifying. my university is so small that some courses are self study cause it's very possible you're the only one taking it (love that). i'm taking a course in chinese though, and we're over 40 ppl on the course and it's kinda terrifying.

I’m going to the oldest and I think the biggest university in my country, so yeah, so far quite a lot of my experiences have been terrifying because there’s just SO MANY PEOPLE EVERYWHERE. I signed up for an optional class today though, and so far there’s six of us. But for the other ones, there’s about 20-40 students in every group, and then there’s one lecture where there’ll be 250 students. It IS scary.

It was expectable... Especially from such sim. I actually feel sorry for her - she isn't that lucky so far... Except for winning a challenge but it didn't save her from a further failure...

I felt so bad when I rolled the dice and had to pick this interaction. But also, I was curious. Maybe it would work out. Well, it didn’t, and then I felt twice as bad.

Gen 6 of the Roses was pretty fun, and I especially liked Lydia (even before I got to make a spouse for her)

Ahh...I really, really want to love gen 6 as much as I love gen 4. If anything, the storylines (especially Regan’s) are so much better than anything og gen 4, and I’m proud of them. But I guess it’s kind of like dating a new person while still missing your ex. You love them but you miss what you had before. Which totally makes sense coming from a person with zero dating experience.

I hope I’ll be able to do it! I have my cc ready like I said, but will I be here to have my porchlight on? I don’t know. I mean I should. Just because I’m moving to uni and have already made plans with some people doesn’t mean my social life will suddenly make me unavailable for simblr stuff. If anything, that might happen over longer time period, not in a span of one month.

Christmas With Family by SushiMarilyn

It’s always great to come back home for Christmas to spend time with family! This small blue & brown house is full of winter cheer and family fun.

The house is for up to 8 sims with a pet. There is 4 double bedrooms, single or double beds and one with toddler bed. There is front patio, backyard with bbq and toddler/child activities, lots of plants, kitchen with Christmas tree, laundry room, living room, study, music/art corner, 2 bathrooms, children’s toy corner and attic storage room with extra sofa bed (napping only). The outside and inside are full of Christmas ornaments.
