I have never been able to handle Théoden’s death, in any context. every time I read it in the original series, I burst spontaneously into tears, and same when I watch it in the movies. so as you can imagine, anytime it happens in a fic I just fucking die.

I don’t know, apparently I got way too attached to the king of Rohan for absolutely no reason. I love him so much for inexplicable reasons and god, that scene is part of what happened in the chapter of Sansûkh I just read, so now I am dying, again. damnit, again.

(it doesn’t help that it’s paired with eowyn’s “I am no man,” scene, so I guess just shoot me when we make it to Pelennor???)

oh and then Thorin finally returns to the Halls and Bilbo was there and sang to him and I just~

um ok I just have to analyze that scene in wrecked for a moment like. the way that there’s a moment of stillness once he’s inside her, neither one of them move at all they’re just looking at each other, both fully realizing that it’s happened, he’s not moving or pushing her he’s just waiting to see whether she’s actually gonna do this, all the power is in her hands and after a moment of the reality setting in SHE starts moving up and down SHE propels the moment forward into active sex and he’s just looking at her with complete disbelief like. I am UNWELL I’m so unwell
