Magic & Abilities [Kaito Yuki, Ice Dragon Slayer]

Ice Make: Taught by Ul before Gray and Lyon, Kaito specialises in dynamic ice make that wields (ice) weapons. He has also secretly learned Iced Shell.
Ice Dragon Slayer Magic: Like other dragon slayers, Kaito can consume his element (ice) to replenish his energy, except his own ice, including his ice make. Kaito’s ice cannot be melted with normal fire, but can be with stronger fire like Natsu’s Fire Dragon Slayer magic. He can freeze the air to make ice platforms to make up for being unable to fly, and uses up less energy if he freezes water instead.
Dragon Ice Make: Kaito can infuse his Ice Make magic with his ice dragon slayer magic, making them stronger with its enhanced properties. This also helps Kaito conserve his energy before the need for a more potent Ice Dagon Slayer magic spell.
In his S Class verse, Kaito has already mastered this before Lucy joins the guild. In Kaito’s S Class Candidate verse, he masters this through training for the S Class Trials or Grand Magic Games.
Spells (in no particular order) below under the cut!
Snowflake Shuriken – Kaito’s trademark starter move, he sends multiple thin shuriken that do little damage but cut very painfully to test his opponent.
Dragon Ice Make: Great Ape – Kaito summons a giant ape of ice that attacks the target, further enhanced by a layer of ice dragon slayer magic to boost its strength and durability.
Ice Dragon’s Rapid Fangs – Kaito creates a barrage of icicles that fall for the air like a violent hailstorm
Snow Fake – Kaito creates a clone of himself made from snow, can trap the foe after too for a follow up attack while their guard is down.
Ice Dragon’s Cross Claw – An X shaped strike with both arms enhanced with ice, used to send the target to the ground or launch them into the air.
Ice Slider – Kaito’s high speed movement skill, moving faster due to freezing the ground around him and sliding on it.
Aero Combination: Ice Dragon’s Claw: Arctic Rush – Kaito forms many magic circles in the air around he target, and uses them as platforms to attack the target from multiple angles. This is Kaito’s version of Shiro the Exceed’s Aero Combination, making up for the fact that he cannot fly.
Frost Laser Circle Array: White Flash - Creating magic circles in the air (like with the above spell), they shoot off multiple ice beams to the target,
Ice Dragon’s Grand Jaw – A double hammer fist attack enhanced with ice, Kaito can also follow this up by conjuring an ice dragon head to chase after the foe, created from the impact.
Ice Dragon’s Roar - This dragon slayer’s breath attack freezes the target but not before forming icicles on their skin to shred, it is able to even freeze fire magic but not special fire like Natsu’s Fire Dragon Slayer magic.
Ice Dragon’s Secret Art: White Coffin – A white coffin made out of ice is summoned from behind the target to lock them in, the front lid is see through. Kaito usually uses this to seal his target for interrogation purposes.
Snow Time - Usually used after White Coffin, Kaito fills the coffin or in snow, can be used separately at where the foe is trapped prior.
Snow Crush - After covering his target in snow, Kaito can command it to crush the target with a clench of his fist. (like Gaara’s Sand Coffin)
Frost Drive - Like String’s White Drive and Rogue’s Shadow Drive, this enhances Kaito’s abilities but not to the extent of Dragon Force.
Frost Drive: Burst - Kaito can briefly go into Dragon Force for its burst of power, enabling him to freeze everything around him instantly, usually used to negate an attack.
Dragon Ice Make: Icer Blade – Kaito creates an ice sword enhanced with Ice Dragon Slayer magic
Dragon Ice Make: Spiral Shell – Kaito raises his hand and summons a spinning shell of ice above his head like an umbrella, used to deflect any projectiles from above.
Dragon Ice Make: Shadow Shuriken – Kaito throws a large shuriken made of his, intended to force the target to dodge and not notice another in its shadow, which Kaito can later boomerang back for a surprise attack. (yep this is a Naruto reference, lmao)

It’s been awhile (Lyon Vastia X Reader)

It was freezing for your mother, you could tell. She had your hand in hers while she dragged you along the snowy path to find the one person she knew who could help you learn and control your ice dragon slayer abilities.
“Momma where are we going?” You asked looking up at her as she shielded her eyes from the constant snow hitting her face.
“Someone who can help you Y/N don’t worry” she smiled down at you kindly and continued fighting through the cold. When she found her destination she was greeted by another women and two young boys who stood by her side with their arms crossed.
“Please help her. You’re the only one I know who can help her control these abilities” your mother begged kneeling to the ground in a pleading manner and the women in front of her gently kneeled down and placed her hand on your mothers shoulder.
“Let’s talk inside” the women said and your mother nodded before following her into her little house “Gray! Lyon! Be nice!”
“Who are you?” Gray asked immediately as he took a step closer trying to make himself look scary.
“I’m y/n” you said quietly and the boys looked at each other before looking back at you
“Do you have ice magic?” Lyon then asked tilting his head to the side, waiting for your response.
“I think so”

You sighed as you thought back to the memories. Your mother had begged that women who you learned was named Ul and she agreed to take you in and help you along with Gray and Lyon.
During that time she had helped you train your ability and learn how to use it. It was only 2 years that you were with her but you had grown close to Lyon. Gray always tried to prove himself more to Ul then either of you had, you both tried to prove yourselves but not to the extent Gray had. You took comfort in Lyon and he took comfort in you which made you leaving that much harder.
It was unexpected the day you left, your mother had come back for you claiming two years was enough and took you without heeding Uls warning.
You had lost your family. They were killed along with the rest of your village by a dark guild. So you set off on your own and trained yourself for years becoming one of the most powerful dragon slayers out there. People knew of you only they never actually met you because you chose to not join a guild but that all changed when you decided you trained long enough and went looking for Lyon.
You had heard what happened not long after you left, Ul died trying to protect Gray. Then after that Lyon kept that hatred and tried to kill Gray later on. From what you knew they were on good terms now though.
It was warm today, the weather was nice out yet you couldn’t really feel it. You just could feel the brisk coldness of the breeze that past through every now and then sometimes you wished you could feel the warmth. You were on your way to find Lamia Scale which you heard Lyon was part of. Your cloak was fanning out behind you as you walked your steps looking as delicate as a flower. Your H/C hair swished behind you with every slight sway in your step.
You really didn’t know where you were going. You were hoping someone would come along the pathway you were walking and you could ask them for help and luckily it seemed the world was on your side.
From further down you could hear two people screaming at each other while there friends tried to calm them down. You started walking towards them causing them to go silent with each step you took. Their eyes were wide in fear as they slowly turned to you, your steps seemingly adding to the affect of the power they could feel radiating from you.
“Excuse me?” You called when you got closer. They all looked at you nervously before the one was scarlet hair stepped forward. Gray could sense something about your magic that seemed familiar but he couldn’t figure out what.
“Hello I am Erza, can we help you?” Erza asked, her hand resting delicately on her sword as she greeted you with a smile.
“Uh could you possibly point me in the direction of Lamia Scale? I’m a bit lost” you laughed slightly, easing up there nervousness.
“Of course!-“ Erza walked towards you before turning and pointing in directions, trying to help but everyone could see she was just confusing you more.
“Just walk up a little further then turn left. It should show up if you do that” The one with pink hair said and you nodded in return “Why are you joining that guild anyways? You should join fairy tail we’re better”
“Natsu!” Erza scolded but he just shrugged in response.
“I’m not joining. There’s just someone there I need to see” you explained and Grays eyes furrowed in confusion before you smiled “well I should be off thank you for the directions!”
As you went to walk away you noticed and few guys sneaking up on them, you assumed they were some left over bad guys from a mission they had just down.
“Ice dragon talons!” You yelled swishing you arm in the air as the ice talons flew towards the men, knocking them out instantly.
Everyone’s eyes widened again at you being a dragon slayer but Grays eyes widened in realization.
“No way!” He muttered to himself before he watched you wave and start walking away. While his friends started to continue there walk home Gray stood where he was watching after you.
“Gray?” Lucy asked when she noticed he wasn’t with the rest of the group. Everyone else turned to him as well before Gray took off running in the direction you had just gone. “Gray!”
“I have to get to Lyon! I have to warn him!” He called over his shoulder before he sped up. He could see you in the distance so he willed himself to go faster until he was running past you, turning slightly to see your face. Both of your eyes widened when he realized it really was you and yours in shock of seeing him.
He continued running away from you towards Lamia Scale causing you to stop and stare at where he just was.
“Gray?” You asked yourself before shaking your head and continuing your journey to Lamia Scale.
As Gray come into the town that was home to Lamia Scale he ran into multiple people trying to get to the guild. He would yell an apology before continued running, ignoring the yells he was getting from the citizens. When he got to the guild he slammed the doors open causing everyone in there to go silent and look towards the sudden noise.
“Where’s lyon?” He demanded when he couldn’t see the other ice mage anywhere. When nobody answered he became frustrated and grabbed the person closest to him as he stared threateningly into there eyes “where is Lyon?”
“Gray. First you come barging in here without warning then you threaten my guild mates?” Gray let go of the poor guy he grabbed onto and looked to Lyon. He had a small smile on his face before he saw Grays face and he knew it was serious. “What is it? What’s going on?”
“She’s here. I saw her” Gray stated simply and Lyons eyes widened in shock before your power became evident again. Gray stared at the door waiting for you to appear, already used to the huge amount of magic you had. Lyons eyes were wide open when he sensed your familiar magic.
“After so long?” Lyon asked looking to Gray who just stared on at the door in response.
“Hey what’s going on? This magic, it’s incredible!” Someone yelled out in the silence causing everyone to nod in agreement.
When your figure appeared from the doorway Lyons breath was taken away. He hasn’t seen you in so long, all these years and he still loved you.
“Lyon?” His heart picked up speed the minute he heard your voice. He felt like collapsing and crushing you in a hug all at the same time. He took a step closer to you his hand outstretched slightly before he took another step and wrapped you in a hug.
“Y/n I’ve missed you” he whispered, trying to will the tears to not fall from his eyes but he couldn’t help it when your arms wrapped around him to return the hug.
“It been awhile”

La luce come strumento di comunicazione e come elemento generatore di benessere e emozioni.
Le stanze della luce rappresentano un percorso attraverso diverse declinazioni e interpretazioni della luce in relazione all’uomo. L’uomo è stato e rimane sempre al centro del progetto e come tale diventa l’elemento intorno a cui ho sempre sviluppato i miei lavori.
La meraviglia, lo stupore, la bellezza della luce e soprattutto il suo rapporto con l’ombra, il continuo gioco di rimandi tra lo svelare e il rivelare rende misterioso e affascinante il mondo dentro il quale mi muovo alla ricerca di atmosfere magiche.
Curriculum
Filippo Cannata è nato a Brescia nel 1962. Dopo aver frequentato corsi di formazione presso le maggiori Università e aziende del settore in giro per il mondo, a partire dagli anni ’80, comincia a collaborare con artisti e grandi maestri del design e dell’architettura come Dino Gavina, Cleto Munari, Alessandro Mendini, Mimmo Paladino, e successivamente Aldo Cibic, Matteo Thun, David Chipperfield, Buro Happold, Atkins Architect, Stefano Boeri, Paolo Portoghesi ecc. il suo stile, fatto di influssi multidisciplinari, nasce proprio da questa “contaminazione culturale”, da questo contatto continuato nel tempo con ambienti e sensibilità differenti. Nel 1992 fonda il suo primo studio. Nel 2001, convinto che la luce sia una importante forma di comunicazione, evolve lo studio in quello attuale, nasce così Cannata & Partners Lighting Design Communication. Tiene seminari in diverse università in Italia e all’estero, in master di lighting designer e partecipa a concorsi nazionali ed internazionali di architettura in collaborazione con famosi studi. Realizza progetti in varie città nel mondo, con installazioni artistiche e interventi alla grande scala. Riceve premi sulla Luce a livello internazionale, come l’International “Edison Award Of Merit” per il progetto di illuminazione di una piazza pubblica “Hortus Conclusus” a Benevento con l’artista Mimmo Paladino, il “Premio Dedalo ‘99” per l’illuminazione della piazza principale di Grottolelle (AV), a Lyon, riceve il premio “Prix Lumi Ville” per il progetto di illuminazione della Piazza Conti Guidi a Vinci (Firenze) e ancor altri.
Nel 2013 è stato inserito tra i più importanti 100 progettisti italiani più autorevoli dell’architettura e del design (100 PROGETTISTI ITALIANI, editore Riccardo Dell’Anna, 2013, pagg. 102-105).

1. Sakurai x Ember: My second OTP of this blog, even if the tags keep on reverting back to a ship lmao. Just a simple interaction/topic at a flower shop blossomed into a great ship with these two FT next gen OCs! We’ve covered a lot with them already, and I look forward to doing more and continuing/finishing the threads (including AUs) we started!
2. Sakurai & Kazuto: I am super happy with the BroTP bond to be we have set up for them, especially with the parallels and differences between them and their face claims (SAO’s Eugeo & Kirito) haha. Looking forward to doing my own spin on Kazuto through drabbles and such as well!
3. Sakurai & Kaito: Used their relationship to show that Kaito is not as perfect as I make him out to be, even with his character development over his teenage years. Kaito is a very overprotective father figure, which led to such extreme consequences this time (Ember getting kidnapped easier later). Kaito later accepts that he can’t protect his adopted daughter forever, he has to let her go, and leave it to her boyfriend after he proves himself in battle, gifting him an ice dragon lacrima made flower sword too to mark it.
4. Sakurai & Natsu: Similar with Kaito but not as extreme, Natsu just wants to make sure Sakurai can protect his daughter Ember. Natsu challenged Sakurai to a fight once and lost because he let his guard down lmao, so Sakurai technically got Natsu’s approval from that haha.
5. Sakurai & Lyon: Lyon I’ve used (as his Guild Master of Lamina Scale), to set things up in the background where their guild is concerned, also with his friendship with Kaito as being Ul’s student as well. He’s the one that allowed Ember to join Lamina Scale in the first place, also convincing Kaito to not take matters into his own hands either after she did against his wishes haha.

KaiLu (Kaito x Lucy) Headcanons (feat. Erza) - Part 1

Kaito has a (small) crush on Lucy in this verse, where he does subtle things to defend her, typically using the excuse of ‘because she’s new’ as a good cover up, such as lessening the severity of Lucy’s punishment over Galuna Island at the other’s expense.
Lucy (with Natsu) help Kaito get over his trauma over killing his childhood friend an AU Viv during his first S Class trials, especially after he almost kills Laxus over it. It was from Makarov’s suggestion playing on Kaito’s logic, on the the fact that Lucy was not with the guild when it happened.
Kaito and Erza are good friends in this verse, and while hating Jellal at first, he later ships her with Jellal, especially after he redeems himself.
In contrast with Kaito’s other FT verses, Kaito actually sides with Erza more than Natsu/Gray whenever they get into trouble with her.
Kaito’s version of cake to Erza, is ice cream, so if anyone disrupts his or his time eating it, they would find themselves frozen in time out for a number of days depending on the severity.
Kaito often scolds Gray for his sloppy Ice Make and stripping habit, especially since Kaito did not pick it up as Ul’s student before him and Lyon. This extends ot Natsu and his carelessness over property damage.
Kaito takes (poor) Nab on dangerous S class jobs with him to scare him into actually taking on jobs himself instead of staring at the job board.

Shout Out Thank Yous!
Alrighty I can already tell that this is going to be a long ass post, so I’m just going to say general things here first. I will then address each mun under the Read More (there’s 20+ of you!), so search for your blog mentioned to find my message to you!
This Fairy Tail OC blog is my 3rd most popular blog by follower count, just under my Vegeta (DBZ) blog which is popular because of the muse itself over the RPing. Kaito is the opposite, which is why I especially find it important to address and thank each and every mun who’s interacted with me through this blog. For actual posts made it is only second to my personal, which just affirms that this blog has earned its popularity (and bronze medal) here in my opinion.
I put in my all and beyond to this blog especially, how it’s navigated, organizing the threads and tags as much as I can so me (and you) can read back on things whenever we want, will use it as a template for my other muses/blogs too haha. Kaito (and my other OCs) have grown as characters thanks to the interactions here, especially when it comes to ships! I also have done the most mun/muse vs muse posts here (Shiro has his own tag FFS lmao), which I’m pleased that many of you are a fan of (the posts, not Shiro!)
To all my followers, thank you for following and sticking with me, esp those from the beginning! To the other RP blogs I haven’t interacted with yet, I’d love to, especially you OCs! I want to also use this blog to advocate for other similar (OC) blogs, that they can also be great and relevant as canon ones with enough hard work! Now onto the special thanks!

You are just one of the best RP partners out there, I am very grateful for the time and effort we combined together on our RPs/ships. +KaiVi: Kaito & Vivienne have a total of 69 threads by my count atm (I hope I miscounted lmao). I just love this OTP of ours to bits, it is a pleasure and honour working with you on them so far. I can’t wait to start exploring the next stage of their lives and beyond! @celestial-weirdo-lucy: We may only have one thread on here, but I love it! Your Lucy is great, and it’s awesome I get to make a spin on KaiLu by having Kaito have a crush on her already lmao. Then there’s our other ships that I’m excited to develop too! Our KaiLu bodyguard AU is probably my favorite AUs which I look forward to sharing, I’m excited for our other AUs too (like Gods and Bleach) and ships with our other muses, damn there’s lots to RP!
@celestial-keys-princess: The Lucy that started it all, Ava you are first mun I approached in the FT RP community and became my guide to others. KaiLu is awesome and I thank you for going through plots and headcanons with me for them! Look forward to continuing their interactions when we do!
I appreciate you also helping me expand Kaito’s Sabertooth verse with Minerva. Kaito’s ship verse with Tori is still the only one where it’s Shiro and the female teaming up against Kaito, which is so hilarious that I will keep it there lmao. Then there’s our other interactions/ships I’d be happy to get into again like Rukia/Aizen, Laxus/Tori, GraLu (with modern band AU) and Lucy/Jackal, who is atm growling at Lucy behind me because of and/or for her ear rubs lmao

1. Kaito x Vivienne | KaiVi | Crystal Glaciers
This ship is my OTP and main ship this blog for a reason, they have been through so much together with their relationship. Childhood friends, rivals, hateship/frenemies, friends, best friends, dating, engaged, married. I can’t wait to RP through them as parents, and you’ll never guess when that is this year too bahahahaha! Ahem, Piixe is also super awesome for building them up with me!
2. Kaito x/& Lucy | KaiLu
The main reason I made this blog in the first place, to ship Kaito with a Lucy! And we got it, and so much more too! Now there’s like, 5 versions of this ship (including a BroTP) which I will make a post about soon. Both Kaito and Lucy are similar yet opposites depending on what, for example they’re both book nerds but opposites in personality, why they work so good together too, romantic wise or not!
3. Kaito & Kamui (and other sisterly bonds)
Never knew Kaito even wanted a (little) sister until he got one from interactions lmao. Their sibling bond is precious, especially when crossovered with KaiVi and Gray ship too, This extends to other similar sister ships like with Wendy, and even Ember (as his adopted daughter) which got Kaito wanting a daughter too haha.
4. Kaito & Gray (and other brotherly bonds(
These two (with Lyon) are Ul’s students, and in my headcanons Ul actually sent Gray to look for Kaito too. I have such a bias for this BroTP that I made a Gray blog so I wouldn’t force anyone to take the role (though I got one eventually haha). I especially look forward to when I get to write out the Kaito vs Gray fight, there’s a lot of angsty feels with that!
other brotherly bonds extend to: Natsu, Gajeel, Sting, Rogue, Laxus, Mizumi, Elfman, Lyon, Jellal and so on, with the canons I also RP as I approach similarly to with my Gray (interactions with other muns aside). My point is, Kaito could do with some more guy friends and interactions lmao.
5. Kaito x/& Water/Wind Mage
Kaito as an ice mage (element and personality wise) are most compatible with water/wind mages, as a ship and in battle too.. That’s why it’ll be interesting to see how the relationship pans out, like with Juvia, and OCs Harumi, Tori, Cynthia, and Danni, the latter Kaito hasn’t interacted with yet but will haha. Similar with KaiLu, they can also work well as friends (probably crossovered with another ship of mine and/or of thier’s)
Other ships: Kaito x Levy, Mira, Erza, Ultear, Minerva, Sorano, Rayvn
These are worth a mention too for me having bias for as the ships are as different and unique as the rest, and I’ll probably expand of them if I get another ask like this for Kaito haha. I already kinda cheated by making the last four into ship categories than actual ships lmao.
