In eighth grade I sent a Valentine’s Day card to all six boys who was in my rock band. My mom was friends with the other moms so she got to relay all the school drama to them because middle school boys don’t talk to their mothers apparently ?? After not hearing anything from the guys, my mom told me they had all received their valentines.

“How do you know?” I asked.

“John showed his card to Sandy, who informed me Brandon and Eric got theirs as well. Ben’s mom said he got his. But Chris-”
