What are you jealous headcanons for Raze,Neon, and Deadlock from Valorant.

Tumblr media
She loves you too much to be able to miss any attempt at anything, so she will kinda ignore them.
If they don’t stop she’ll start staring at them, slowly shifting into a glare.
Her type of jealousy isn’t visible to others, meaning only you were aware of what was happening.
You won’t be able to leave her arms, forced to accept her affection for now.
She will need cuddles and affirmation you wont leave her later that night. Even after that she’ll ask the dumbest questions while pulling the puppy dog eyes.
***
“Would you love me if I was a worm?”
“I would love you in any form, worm included.”
Tumblr media
She’s less of a jealous type and more of general untrusting, so if she’s given any reason to distrust them she is taking it.
Along with that if she detects anything happening, suddenly she’s thrown herself over you. Showing off a lot of affection.
If something happens, (you're uncomfortable, etc) her go to is to use her radiant powers. Giving the culprit a quick little zap to have them back off.
Will back many backhanded remarks about them when they’re away, or even straight up insults.
Later that night she’ll do one of two things, might start whining and clinging to you, or become silent. Only speaking in bursts.
***
“They know we’re dating…” and “What’s wrong with them?”
Tumblr media
The time she notices is almost instant, so she’ll start staring. Never turning to glaring.
Will become slightly more touchy, reaching for your hand more often and longer. Sometimes leaning on your shoulder to leave quick kisses.
Won’t let anyone else get too close to either of you, mainly steps in between anyone.
Out of defense she’ll become quiet, maybe even silent. Accidentally ignoring you in turn.
When she realizes she’ll immediately start making up for it. Using anything around, cuddles, snacks, movies.
***
“Look, I’m sorry, what do you want to do?”

✮ ┆ SMALL CUTS HEAL FAST. deadlock (valorant)
Tumblr media
— “I planned for pain, but I got love and joy.”
description.             (written before deadlock release) today’s mission wasn’t about being unsuccessful, but rather the fact that she hardly accepted failure
content warnings.               sfw content, mention of blood, cuts, bruises, wounds, little angst but fluff non the less author’s notes.                    i couldn't resist, i needed to get something out fast about her because deadlock omg
Tumblr media
the agent’s eyes lingered on your body, watching from the exam table as you reached to take the bandages that sat on the very top of the cabinet on the other side of the room. a quiet scoff left her lips, causing you to whip your head around to check on her again, making sure she wasn’t bothering the tape on her arm.
she scoffed once again when you sat next to her before muttering, “I can do this myself.” taking the bandages from you. she peeled off the temporary bandages, revealing small cuts and nicks with a layer of dried blood.
“let me, alright? we finish faster and can sleep sooner.” you gave her a reassuring smile, putting your hands over hers. she dared not to look up at you, she dreaded the thought that if she did you would see that the ambush at the warehouse tore her confidence down and replaced it with doubt. she didn’t want you to see her this weak, think of her like she couldn’t protect the other agents or even worse, you.
“what happened on the mission,” you started, slowly peeling the temporary bandages down her arm while your other hand tried to gently pry her fingers open and take the gauze pads from her. lifting up her arm you moved a little closer to her to have a better view and access to her wounds. you sighed that they weren’t that deep, leaving you with only having to rewrap it rather than stitch it up.
the first loop of cloth wrapped around her upper arm as you said, “it wasn’t you fault, everyone was led into a trap, something nobody knew of.” of course she knew that, she was just disappointed in herself that she couldn’t see the danger herself in the beginning. but she wouldn’t have admitted that to you out loud.
“that group was off the grids a few weeks now, not you or anyone could have known their next step.”
the agent turned her gaze from her hands to the opposite direction you sat, wincing a little when you accidentally tightened the bandage too tight.
“whatever else you want to say, I do not want to hear it.”
you smiled, finishing up with the wrapping. she was always stubborn like this, even with you but you loved that about her, maybe that was one of the reasons why you fell in love with her in the first place.
“you are an amazing agent, you successfully completed ever mission before. one loss doesn’t define you or your abilities.” deadlock sighed, facing your way before her fingers went and intertwined with yours.
“the ways you choose your words, always amazes me.” she said, the cold expression softening into a shy smile. you just chuckled before asking for your hand back so you could finish patching her up then prepare a warm bath for the two of you. “small cuts heal fast, they don’t leave a scar just like this won’t.” you assured her once again as the two of you leave the infirmary, hand in hand. she doesn’t say anything other than a silent “thank you.” as she squeezes your palm and swings it back and forth a little.

Radiant Recruit (Valorant x Reader)
Name: Y/N
Class: Radiant
Callsign - Nomad
You had been at odds with Kingdom for causing your abilities, and saw Valorant as nothing more than another group trying to reign you in.  Your power store radiant energy and unleash it proved difficult to contain.  Even worse, you could turn to pure energy and phase away.  It was a trick you used to escape Valorant time and time again.  Where you came from was only for you to know, until you were captured.
Tumblr media
(An idea of what Nomad can do // source: Infamous: Second Son)
Fade
Tumblr media
“Stop Y/N!  There’s no place you can run to that I won’t find you!”  Fade yelled down the hallway.  She had you cornered in Bind, inside the Kingdom refinery
“Leave me ALONE!” you screamed, unleashing a wave of radiant power at nearby pipes.  Steam filled the hall and you sprinted further away
A screech behind you caught your attention as one of Fade’s nightmares spotted you.  A terror trail led from your feet
Snarling prowlers rushed towards you and lunged.  You raised a hand and blasted them as they pinned you down
One sunk its teeth into your leg and darkness filled your vision.  Whispers surrounded you as memories of Kingdom spying on you resurfaced
Radiant power surged into your eyes before blasting through your body.  In your fear, you burnt through the last reserves of energy
Suddenly a voice cut through the chaos
“I have you now, ”
Weak sparks shot from your palm in an attempt to block the ball of tendrils Fade tossed at your feet
Seized by her power, unable to destroy the bindings, you found yourself resorting to struggling against the tethers
Fade took a Sheriff from its holster, the gunmetal gleaming in the red alarm lights.  She began to raise it upward towards you
Then turned and emptied the cylinder, catching the bullets and storing them in a pocket
“Valorant is not what you think, we are trying to do something important for the world!”
“So was Kingdom, I don’t care about what your cause is.”
“I was where you are right now, Y/N.  I was hunted by Valorant too.”  Fade’s tone softened
“What are you talking about?” You were slightly intrigued
“I…blackmailed them.  They sent a squad to catch me and could’ve killed me.  They gave me a home instead.  I trust them.”
“Prove it, how do I know you aren’t lying to get my guard down.”
“You can’t, but you have my word that we will let you go if you want to leave.” She reached a hand to you.  “Deal?”
Against your better judgment you decided to come along.  In an hour you were being flown to a remote island in the middle of nowhere
“So you know my name, but what’s yours?”
“Hazal.  Memnun oldum.”
Hazal sat with you, either for security or reassurance, in the conference room with Brimstone
“Y/N, I apologize for the methods we used but Valorant doesn’t have time for delicate approaches.  Fade has first hand experience with that.”
“I didn’t offer you another choice Brimstone,” Hazal seemed to feel some regret
“We wanted to get your help with Omega Earth,” he directed you to a hologram that showed all current information
It was unnerving, the doppelgangers and your personal clone trying to destroy the world.  The situation didn’t leave you feeling like you could run away
“So…are you in Y/N?”
“Count me in,” you went over to shake Brimstone’s hand.  He took it and handed you a keycard to your room
“You’re part of Valorant now Y/N.”  Brimstone nodded to Fade and you exited the room with her
“You’ll be assigned a callsign Y/N,”  Fade said as she led you to your quarters.  “Did you have anything in mind?”
“Uh, I guess we should figure it out while we have time.”  Your opened the door to your room and took a seat on the bed
Fade took a seat at your desk, looking around at the sparse interior before settling on you
“Y/N, what do you think about going by Nomad?  It would fit, don't you think?”
Iso
Tumblr media
“Oh shi-” you were surprised by a bullet ricocheting past you and putting a hole in the elevator controls
“Nice try Y/N, but you aren’t getting out of here unless you come with me.”  Iso chambered another round.  “Or else.”
“Go to hell!” you triggered a maelstrom of energy inside your body.  Radiant pulses fired from you and Iso lept to cover
Shifting into energy, you charged straight at him, ready to plant your glowing fists directly into his face
Hexagons spilled out under your feet.  Violet light blinded you before placing you into a strange space made of similar shapes
“You’re all mine Y/N.” a familiar voice echoed.  Iso had somehow captured you
The structures around you disappeared and a single shot rang out against the silence of the realm you were in
A bullet hit your chest, but the ballistic plate underneath stopped it.  It didn’t stop the force from slamming into you though
“Y/N, I admire your spirit but you lost this fight.  I won’t hurt you, I just want to show you what Valorant is trying to do.”
“And if I refuse?”
“You won’t leave here.  Ever.”
He wasn’t bluffing, but he didn’t seem like he wanted to condemn you to that fate either.  His aim was steady but his eyes were more focused on your response
“I’ll go with you, but if you try anything you’ll regret it.”
Iso sighed something in Mandarin
Purple energy wrapped you and placed you back in the building.  Iso waited for you to get to your feet and led you at gunpoint
The elevator controls were shot, so you and Iso took stairs to the roof.  When you arrived at the helipad, the VTOL was just landing
“Remember, I can trap you at anytime Y/N.  Don’t try to escape until we get to the island and we brief you.”  Iso was dead serious
He left you in the cargo hold of the VTOL while it took off.  He returned later on his phone and looked over at you
“Any requests for music?  I don’t like silence.”  Iso pointed at the phone
“(Your favorite artist).”
“I have a playlist for them, tell me what you think.”
The ride to the HQ was more pleasant than you expected
Subsequently, you were lead to a room with the leader of Valorant for more information
Brimstone finished explaining the situation.  Needless to say the Omega Earth version of you destroying city blocks was a frightening prospect
“Y/N, if you help us out you’ll be giving us the advantage.  We can let you go but we can’t guarantee your mirror won’t try to come after you.”
“I’ll join your protocol if it means I can protect people from my double.”
“Welcome to the fight Y/N.  Iso, take Y/N to the armory and get them fitted for their gear and run a basic shooting test.”  Brimstone shook you hand warmly
Iso and you walked down the hall, passing a few other agents that gave you a wave or raised an eye at your presence
Once you were in the armory, Iso went over ballistics and you did some basic target practice
“Y/N, have you given any thought to your callsign?”  Iso finished marking your grade in a tablet
“Not really, I do want something that sounds good and makes sense.”  you placed your rifle down and began a field strip test
“Since you were constantly on the run, how does Nomad work for you?”  He raised the tablet with the name entered in
“Sounds good.”
“I can’t wait to work with you, Nomad.” Iso nodded to you and handed you a magazine
Viper
Tumblr media
“Oh Y/N it’s precious that you think you can hide from me, but I like games of cat and mouse.”  Viper purred as you crept around Icebox
The woman had managed to cut off every escape from you, a fact she reveled in
“I assume you’re thinking that if you attack me, you can shut the toxins off and leave.” she was trying to draw you out, so you continued to sneak around
Viper turned and left
Green fog began to empty from the vents everywhere, catching you off guard.  It was then you realized she had been waiting for the toxins to get in the system
“Is it hard to breathe?  Try not to die before I find you, I don’t want to explain that to Brimstone.”
Coughing loudly, you attempted to crawl away as vertigo set in.  The toxins smelled like acetone mixed with acrid sweetness
Viper’s silhouette appeared as you lost consciousness.  Her figure towered above you as your eyes shut
“You’re awake, good.  I need you to listen to me Y/N, can you do that?”  Viper had unmasked and was now looking you directly in the eye
You nodded your head weakly while taking account of your surroundings.  Toxins had rendered your powers and muscles useless
“What do you want from me?” you hissed
“Join Valorant, we could use your-”
“NOBODY’S using me.” you spat back.  Viper glared at you
She removed a vial of poison and opened it.  She tilted the glass over your head, letting a drop hang over your eye
“Don’t interrupt me,” Viper narrowed her gaze, “Understood?”
“I’d rather die than be some kind of weapon for a bunch of sociopaths.”
“You aren’t in a position to argue, but we are going to play nice and show you the protocol.”
“Easy to do when I’m your prisoner.”
“Exactly Y/N.”
Minutes later you were being flown somewhere new, but had no idea what was waiting for you once you regained your motor functions
Viper and Brimstone sat with you, going over confidential files on Omega Earth and their agents.  It was shocking to your face among them as well
“We know they’ll end up using your mirror against us, so we need all the support we can get.”  Brimstone passed a keycard to you
You took it and shook his hand
“I’ll take Y/N to the medical wing and run biometrics so we can plan countermeasures against their double.”  Viper motioned for you to join her
The biometrics were mainly just scans and a blood test, but Viper took time to explain what each piece would be used for
“Y/N, you need a callsign for me to enter your information under.  Any ideas?”
“Not really.  I guess there’s the fact I was always escaping, that could be something.”
“Well you didn’t escape me,” Viper smugly raised an eyebrow.  “But I do like that idea, how about Nomad?”
“I like that, it sounds mysterious.”
“Perfect, now let's get you to your quarters and finish the tour so I can get back to my lab.”
“Can I see the lab?”
“No.”
Neon
Tumblr media
“I thought you were supposed to be fast!  So much for the protocol’s ‘Sprinter.” you taunted as you sped away down a street in your energy form
Neon trailed behind you, each pace pulsing with electricity.  She had almost caught you but a quick energy burst saved you
Now it was a matter of running, which was easy for you to do because you could move through obstacles
That was your thought until you ran out of radiant power in the middle of the street
“Slow huh?” Neon was on you quickly.  You decided to fight, unleashing what little energy you had left in missiles of force
She dodged and closed the distance, using her speed to shift her target faster than you could aim
In the blink of an eye Neon grabbed your arm.  Volts spasmed down your body, paralyzing you
“No more running Y/N.”  Neon dragged you to the side of the road and away from the public.  She hid you under a bridge, seating you on a bench
“So Valorant sends you to catch me and then what?  Lock me in a cell until you need to destroy something?”
“No, we want you to learn how to control the power before you hurt anyone.”  Neon trailed off, lost in thought
“Do you really control your power or is it just them letting you loose on anyone they want?”  You needled at her doubt
“So you must have lost control at some point then, did they show up and lock you away?  Just like what you want to do to me?”  Provoking her was the only thing you could do
“It wasn’t like that!  They found me…but after I had lost control,”
“Don’t lie to me, they can’t help me and they can’t you either!”
“SHUT UP!”  Sparks scorched the ground near Neon’s legs
Neon’s anger turned to regret “They gave me training for it and helped me make the best of it.”
Neon began to smile a bit as an arc of electricity moved up her hand
“I’m sure we’ll do the same for you.”
Once you could move, you and her walked back to a extraction point
“Do you really think they don’t want to use my power for themselves?  You were sent on this mission right?”
“I volunteered for this, Y/N.  You won’t have to fight unless you want to but we have Radiants that want to help you control your abilities.”
It wasn’t much reassurance without definitive proof, but it was good to hear as you stepped onto the VTOL
“Plus you’ll train with me Y/N.  So I’m hoping you decide to stay with us so we can have a rematch.”
Neon fidgeted in her chair at the conference with Brimstone and Sage.  Reyna stood in the back eying you over and occasionally muttering something in Spanish
“Y/N, your power is going to make the difference in the fight against Omega Earth.  We need you to back us up.”
“I- I want to but I’m not,”
Neon looked over at you and her nervousness switched something in you
“I can get ready for the field.  I’m on board sir.”  Neon relaxed at your response
“Good Y/N, glad to have you here.  We’ll enter some information for your file, in the meantime Neon can show you to the gym for a physical assessment.”
He passed her a tablet
Neon led you around the protocol and took you to the training area.  She took the tablet Brimstone gave her and had you start the tests
It wasn’t a great couple of hours, especially because Neon kept her eyes on you struggling the entire time
Finally the running test came up, and Neon readied a stopwatch
“Y/N, do you want to race?” Neon tossed the stopwatch in the air towards you
“Sure,” you caught the watch and readied it.  “Go!”
She cleared the mile in under 7 minutes without her power before taking the watch
“Beat that Y/N.”
Your mile was about 9 minutes, which was expected from someone who didn’t run often.  Neon did tone her taunting down during the run which was a welcome change
“So…Y/N what callsign do you want?  I have to put one here so what do you want?”
“I don’t really have anything.  I would pick something about running or escaping-” Neon looked up disapprovingly “-but I guess that’s your thing right.”
“Well you aren’t fast, just hard to keep in the same place.  Like a nomad. Oh that could work!”
Neon put down Nomad in name entry
“We even sort of match too.  I like Nomad, enter it in!”  You nodded to her and got ready for the next step in becoming an agent
Reyna
Tumblr media
“Tienes miedo?  I love a good chase Y/N.”  Reyna’s voice barely held her sadistic excitement back
Carefully, you hid behind cover while Reyna stalked through the courtyard of Sunset.  Loading your pistol, you sprang from the cover and opened fire
A glaring eye filled your vision, and you shot blindly at the space.  The bullets dissipated the eye, but Reyna was gone
“I’ve heard so much about you, your power.  Don’t disappoint me.”  Reyna’s skin turned to shadows and glowed with unnatural energy
“I WON’T!” you bellowed.  Particles of radiant energy spiraled around your body and blasted straight through Reyna
She made no effort to dodge your most powerful blast as it corkscrewed into her.  At first you thought she was going to die
It was much more terrifying than that
Reyna walked calmly through the beam toward you, her intangible state keeping her from damage.  The blast lost power and stopped
“Que fuerte, but not enough.”  Reyna grabbed your throat and slammed you to the ground
“If you struggle, I will continue to have fun with you.”  Her grip tightened to emphasize the point
“I’m not joining your damn organization.  You and Kingdom are all the same, just preying on Radiants.”
“QUE DEMONIOS ME DIJISTE?”  Reyna yelled, she drove her nails into your neck.  “I- We are nothing like them.”
Her outrage was enough to quiet you down
“Kingdom is our enemy Y/N, we can bring them down together.  Join me and we will destroy them.”  Reyna reached a hand out
You took it
Reyna leaned in and whispered in your ear
“Somos unido, contra el mundo.  Do not forget they are terrified of us.”
Reyna sat at your side at the table in the conference room.  Brimstone and Sage went over the situation with Omega
“If Omega uses the mirror version of you, we would have a hell of a fight ahead of us without you to help us out.”  Brimstone gave a worried look to the holographic files
“Don’t worry, I’ll join the protocol if I can make a difference.”
“Come with me Y/N, we will see how useful you can be to us.”  Reyna took your arm and moved you to the training room
A few bots appeared and Reyna took a seat
“Go on, end them Y/N.”
It took little effort to turn the bots into scrap metal and burnt plastic.  In your elation, you blasted a hole in the window near Reyna
“Que increible Y/N, you certainly have potential.”  She ran her fingers over the scorch marked bots
“The protocol requires a callsign,” she passed you a tablet with an input.  “I would put in my suggestions but I don’t want to speak for you.”
“Wait, what did you have in mind?” you looked over to Reyna while she leaned against the exit
“Pues, I was thinking something that felt unburdened.  Something freeing.  Viajero, no como se dice,” she paused feeling for the English word, “Nomad.”
“It means someone on the run or that moves around.  That does sound like me.”
“Claro, I think it suits you perfectly Y/N.  Now, let's begin your training and sharpen your strength.”
She sauntered across the room and started up more bots
“Mataremos, Nomad.”  You and Reyna tore into them together
Sage
Tumblr media
“Do not make me pursue you further Y/N, I wish no harm on you.”  Sage cried to you
“Then let me leave,” you readied an energy bolt, “I doubt you could even hurt me!”  You shot, directly into her chest
“So be it.” Sage muttered
Jade, tougher than steel, coated her hands and began to work into her skin.  Life energy flowed in and she rose up
Her skin healed as she charged you.  You burnt through your power to launch a vortex of radiant energy
The sphere engulfed her, but when it passed she was completely gone to your surprise.  A hand landed on your shoulder, then a chop connected to your temple
Sage had catapulted herself over the vortex using her wall, and gotten directly behind you
As a monk, she was adept in martial arts.  It didn’t help that the barrage of fists, palms, and kicks was hard as iron
You tried to swing back, but couldn’t move.  Sage coated you in jade, effectively restraining you with every blow
“Do you doubt I could hurt you now Y/N?”  Sage’s tone was retributive but took satisfaction in her position over you
“I don’t care what you try, you can’t force me to work with Valorant.  You chased me down like an animal, just like Kingdom.”
“We did pursue you Y/N, but we aren’t like Kingdom.  We want to help you, not use you.”
“I’m not interested in what you have to say, I’ll break free eventually.”
“No you won’t, it is unmoving and you are too.  I want you to see what Valorant truly is, not what you think it is.”
“I don’t give a shit what Valorant is, you tracked me and trapped me in this.”
“We tried to bring you in but you refused because you thought we were Kingdom.  I want to prove we’re better than them.”
“By encasing me in rock and hauling me somewhere against my will?  Just like Kingdom tried before?”
“You’d run away otherwise, and I went easy on you.  I could have broken your legs and healed them later, but I wanted you to see we aren’t cruel.”
It was true, she had held back enough not to render you unconscious or cripple you.  Plus she didn’t sound like she was lying, her tone was honest
“I don’t know if I can fully trust you, but if you want to show me Valorant I don’t really have a choice do I?”
“Not particularly, but I promise you are safe while under my watch.”
She had your petrified body loaded onto a VTOL and flown to the HQ
Once you had been briefed, and Sage released you, she passed you a keycard.  Brimstone finished his report on Omega
“Y/N, please lend us your aid.”  Sage pleaded
“I’m in, don’t worry.  I was wrong about you all, I’m happy to join.”
“Sage, take Y/N to the clinic and give them a check up.  I’ll finish Y/N’s file and send word to the agents that we have a new member.”
You and her went over to the clinic and she sat you down on the table before taking a few instruments out
“Y/N, please remove your clothes.” she took a tablet and started marking things as you cautiously took your clothing off.  You blushed the entire time
Sage moved quickly, giving you questions while she looked you over.  She finished her check up and had you dress back up
“Y/N, do not worry I have seen the entire protocol naked.  I am just doing my job.”
“I know, it’s just strange because I don’t know you that well.”
“Then I hope we become close,” Sage smiled at you, “I must ask you about what you want to use for a callsign.”
“I didn’t think about that.  Do you have any ideas?”
Sage responded with a long pause
“I suppose something that suggests your strengths.  You are flexible and spirited.”
“Do you have anything that sounds like either of those?”
“Would you accept Nomad?  It is the word for people that have no single place they call home.”
“Nomad…” you thought about it for a second.
“I love it!”
“Wonderful, now let’s finish your recruitment Nomad.”
Jett
Tumblr media
“I’m not gonna work with the woman that destroyed Venice!” you screamed as you launched a volley of energy at Jett
The backstreets of Split had turned into a storm of bullets and radiant explosions, Jett was lurking in the rafters while you stuck to the ground
She nimbly dashed from cover to avoid the bursts of plasma, then took aim with her Vandal
“Shut up!  You don’t know what you’re talking about!”  Jett’s serious tone cut through the chaos.  Her gun ran dry and she began to reload
“You can’t lie to me!  I’m never joining Valorant!”  A gathering of particles rushed through your hands, charging a pulse of energy that blasted Jett from cover
Her body flew through the air from the force, and you watched with satisfaction.  Then she suspended herself in midair, turning to you
“I’m done with your shit, Y/N.” Jett summoned her knives, and sent them for you
Acting quickly, you used the rest of your energy to blast the knives from their paths.  Each failed to connect as the knives moved on their own, weaving around
Blades sped past you, then sinking into your clothes and pinning you to the ground.  Jett drifted down and knelt next to you, a smug grin painted on her face
“So,” a blade twirled over her finger, “care to correct what you said about me and Venice?”
“I saw the footage, it was you.  I won’t work for people who shelter a monster.”
“IT WASN’T ME!”  Jett’s control slipped and the knife embedded itself next to your neck
“She took everything from me,” a few tears fell down from Jett’s cheek.  “You of all people should know what being slandered feels like!”
It was true Kingdom had done their best to scare the public after they lost track of you, and wasted no time showing how dangerous you were
“You want me to feel bad for you when you’re hunting me like them?  They took so much from me and you’re no different.”
“Y/N, you don’t have anywhere to go.  Valorant stood with me against the world, I stay with them because they know I’m not the enemy.”
Silence gave you time to digest how genuine she was being.  You could see how wounded she was and what Valorant meant to her
“I want them to help you Y/N.  We both had our lives ruined but Valorant is our second chance.”
“I’m not against it, but even if I was you’ve already caught me.”
Jett rolled her eyes and helped you up
“Valorant will help you, it’s like a second family to me.  I hope it becomes that for you too.”
The fact Jett’s double had ruined her life was made clear to you once you were in the care of Valorant
Her anger flared whenever the photo would appear in the report Brimstone gave you.  Wind would pick up in the room, moving papers about
You signed on immediately when you realized that you could make a difference and stop the mirrors from unleashing more Spikes
“Jett, I’m sure Y/N is going to need some help navigating the protocol.  Do you mind giving them a tour of the premises?”
“Yeah, let’s go Y/N.  This place is huge so we should start now.”
You and Jett took a walk through the corridors of Valorant.  Jett took you first to the training room and showed you the scoresheet
“As you can see, I have some high marks but no big deal.”  Jett gloated, making sure a nearby Phoenix could hear here
She took you next to the living quarters and introduced you to Killjoy and Raze, both of whom greeted you excitedly
Jett next took you to the cafeteria, mainly to flex the fact she cooked last night
“I bet you’re hungry after everything, we can probably take a minute here and have some of the chap chae I made.”
You and her reheated the noodles and added some onions and carrots to it
“So Y/N,” Jett practically inhaled her food, “what were you thinking for a codename?”
You finished a bit of food, “I don’t really know what I’d go with.”
“How about Nomad?  I mean it makes sense ‘cause you’re hard to catch.  Plus it sounds cool.”
“It does, we should use that!” you agreed
You and her finished up and cleaned your plates, then finished the tour
“Y/N, Nomad, tomorrow Phoenix, Neon, and I are gonna get together for movie night.  You should totally join us!”
“I’ll be there!”
Deadlock
Tumblr media
“Don’t try and run Y/N, you can’t escape me.”  Deadlock’s eyes trained on you, watching for any movement
She had you at gunpoint, pointing a Phantom at your chest ready to fire.  Her finger was slightly above the trigger
“Nobody is taking me prisoner!” you shouted before leaping out of the way and phasing into energy
Deadlock fired through you, the bullets disintegrating as they passed through you.  You sprinted through a wall and detransformed
That wasn’t so bad you thought to yourself as you began to make your way across the room you had entered
A beeping noise caught your attention as you exited, you searched for its source.  Then you looked to your left and saw the Sound Sensor
It concussed you and sent you reeling into the main room of the Kingdom outpost.  You spotted the exit on the second floor and dashed up the stairs
“YOU’RE NOT LEAVING MY TERRITORY Y/N!” a yell caught you off guard.  A blue string floated in front of your face for a single second
Then an onslaught of fibres wrapped your arms and legs, restraining you.  You did everything you could to escape but it was too late
The cocoon floated somewhere, but a brief minute later you felt yourself being picked up and carried outside
Bitter cold crept in through the gaps in the nanowire, causing you to shiver.  Then you felt yourself being rested on snow
A knife cut through the web, a centimeter from your face.  It opened your face up to the chilling weather and Deadlock’s stoic expression
“Are you cold?  You keep moving like you’re shivering.”  Her voice was flat, unbothered by the freezing winds
“I-I’m f-f-fine, I don’t, n-need any he-help.” you did your best not to let her notice your teeth chattering
“You are an awful liar, we’re going back to the station.” Deadlock began a march back and threw you over her shoulder
“Put me down!”
“You’ll freeze Y/N, I don’t want you to get frostbite.”
“Why?  You opened fire at me why does it matter if I get cold?”
“I know you don’t deserve to suffer out here, and I didn’t shoot to kill.  Valorant sent me to collect you but we won’t mistreat you.”
“You’re part of Kingdom, I know you are.”
“I’m not, when our extraction arrives we’ll take you to our headquarters and you can see that we have your best interests at heart.”
You went silent, confused at the fact she was taking you back to the outpost instead of directly to her allies.  It wasn’t something a typical mercenary or Kingdom would do
“How long until they arrive?”
“A few minutes from now.”  Deadlock shut the door and laid you against a wall near a heating vent
“Rest Y/N, I don’t want you to freeze.”
Hours later, you were in the tropics at the Valorant HQ
You exited Brimstone’s office with a newfound appreciation for Valorant.  Your Mirror concerned both you and the agents around you
Brimstone had finished signing you up with the protocol, and you agreed to go to the armory to get an idea of what you would be training with
Deadlock led you through the headquarters, giving you a brief tour of the base before stopping at the weapon room
“Y/N, we are going to go over weaponry while the others finish notifying the protocol about you and readying your quarters.”  Deadlock handed you a Guardian
“Take it and see how it feels.”  She watched you explore the rifle and attempt to take it apart.  Field stripping was not your strength
Deadlock began to help you, as well as go over the rest of the armory’s collection.  You learned how to clean the guns which seemed to be enough for Deadlock
“I’ll have a kit sent to your room, but I have to ask what were you thinking for a code name?”
“Codename?”
“Every agent gets one, so we have to assign you one.”  She referred to her own ID card and took a seat at the firing range
“Come on, I don’t have the slightest idea of what to put for one.  What would you put?”
Looking upwards in thought, Deadlock paused for a second before meeting your gaze
“They gave me my name because I can stall the enemy.  You specialize in moving and being unpredictable.”
You nodded in agreement
“Perhaps, Nomad?” Deadlock shrugged her shoulders
“You know that sounds good.  Put Nomad as my codename please.”  You felt the name around a bit before settling into the callsign
“Hey Deadlock,”
“Yes?”
“Thank you for the name and for not letting me freeze.”
“It was no trouble at all.”

omg!! you’re doing valorant 👀
Can i ask you’re thoughts (head cannons) on how the agents would be around children? (who would hate them, tolerate, love, be extremely confused what to do)
Valorant Protocol with Kids
Tumblr media
Characters: Valorant Protocol except for a few of them Type: Headcanons
mueheheheh
Warnings: none
Tumblr media
❥ They're practically still a kid themselves! Needless to say, they get along great with children and there's never a dull moment with them. They come up with countless games to play, getting the children tired enough by their bedtimes just because of all the fun they had.
-Gekko, Jett, Neon, Phoenix, Raze
❥ These agents are great with kids but don't relate with them on a personal level like some of the others. They're responsible and relyable if you ask them to babysit, making sure that the kids are safe and entertained. Maybe they can't come up with a million games to play, but they manage by letting the kid come up with a fun activity.
-Brimstone, Harbor, Sage, Skye, Sova
❥ Oh god why would you make them be around kids! They have no clue what they're doing and are so awkward, especially if the kids don't understand their adult language. Jeez, why can't these things just come built in with big words? The kids probably think these agents are boring or are afraid of them.
- Cypher, Deadlock, Fade, Iso, Killjoy, Reyna, Omen
❥ They don't necessarily like kids but make great babysitters none the less. They really rather not be bothered, but if they have to they're making sure to follow all of the babysitting instructions to a T. They're strict on bedtimes and will not negotiate if the kid asks for extra candy after dinner. They are always sure that the kids are fed, bathed with their teeth brushed and off to bed no later than 9pm!
-Chamber, Viper, Yoru

Deadlock/Skye x Gn! Reader
Tumblr media
➛ Warnings: Smut
Tumblr media
— To start off, she isn’t too experienced
— She mostly hangs out with her animals. She’s had some moments where she’s in the mood but that’s rare.
— Kind of wild (no pun intended)
— She’s the type to have so much energy. Like 3+ rounds kind of energy. So, when you’re all tuckered out, she’s “just gotten started.”
“Ah, c’mon! One more.” She basically begged. Tiny beads of sweat stuck to your body. All while your chest rose and fell, practically engulfing big heaps of air.
— She’s loud. Like, really loud.
— She would probably try to put you in many positions. Some that could test your flexibility as well.
— She’s so strong.
— I mean they all are but have you seen the muscles on this woman.
— She’ll easily pick you up and carry you to the bed. (Or just put you against the wall if she’s feeling inpatient). Not even sexually though. She loves randomly picking you up.
Tumblr media
— Iselin is the serious type.
— Focusing on your own pleasure more than hers.
— I’ve mentioned before but she loves using her mechanical arm on you. Or she’ll use it to hold you down in place. There are so many things she can do to you with it.
— Isn’t loud like Kirra. She tends to groan a lot.
— So many curses and phrases in Norwegen. She also calls you pet names in her native language a lot.
— She loves to keep you as close as possible. That also goes with seeing your face. So she typically aims for positions that do both.

Far away, yet so close.
A/N: IK NO ONE ASKED BUT I NEEDED TO WRITE THIS. 😭
And also, im new, please request something!
Under the neon glow of the Valorant base's low lights, Deadlock and you found a moment of respite after a harrowing mission. The air was charged with a unique mix of tension and relief that only those who had faced danger together could understand.
As the two of you stood there, the weight of the world seemed to fade away, leaving only the palpable electricity between you. Deadlock's usually stoic demeanor softened in your presence, her cybernetic eye reflecting the gentle affection she held for you.
Without a word, you stepped closer, your hands finding their place on her hips, drawing her into an intimate embrace. Her breath hitched, surprised by the sudden closeness, but she relaxed into your touch, allowing herself to be held.
You could feel the steady thrum of her heart against your chest, a rhythmic beat that resonated with your own. In that moment, the lines between battle-hardened agent and tender lover blurred. It was just the two of you, finding solace in the quiet sanctuary you'd created.
You tilted her chin up gently, meeting her gaze with a soft smile. In those eyes, you saw a vulnerability that she reserved only for you, a trust that went beyond words. And in return, you cradled her face, your fingers tracing the contours of her cybernetic enhancements with gentle reverence.
Leaning in, your lips met in a sweet, lingering kiss. It was a silent promise, an affirmation of the love that had blossomed amidst the chaos of their world. The taste of victory and the lingering scent of gunpowder seemed to fade, replaced by the sweetness of each other's presence.
As you pulled away, Deadlock rested her forehead against yours, her breath mingling with yours in the quiet space you'd carved out for yourselves. There were no need for grand declarations; the depth of your connection spoke volumes in the tender moments you shared.
In that hushed corner of the base, amidst the echoes of a thousand battles, you and Deadlock stood as a testament to the power of love in even the most trying of circumstances. In each other's arms, you found not only comfort and solace, but a home that transcended the boundaries of their world.
The world of Valorant had taught both of you that danger could lurk around any corner, but it had also taught you the invaluable lesson that love was a force that could conquer even the most daunting challenges. As you held Deadlock close, the world outside seemed to disappear entirely, leaving only the warmth and tenderness of your embrace.
With a soft, affectionate whisper, you murmured, "I love you," the words carrying a profound weight that transcended the battlefield. Deadlock's cybernetic eye shimmered with emotion, and she replied in kind, her voice barely above a breath, "I love you too."
It was a simple declaration, but it held within it a universe of shared experiences, trust, and an unbreakable bond that had grown amidst the chaos and uncertainty of their lives as agents. In that moment, you both knew that no matter how challenging the battles ahead might be, you would face them together.
Time seemed to stand still as you continued to hold each other, relishing the warmth of your connection. The sounds of the base, the distant chatter of other agents, and the hum of machinery faded into the background, drowned out by the symphony of your hearts beating in perfect harmony.
As the night wore on, you and Deadlock remained entwined, finding comfort in the presence of the one person who truly understood you. In each other's arms, you found strength, solace, and the unwavering belief that, no matter what trials the world threw your way, your love would always light the path forward.
In the world of Valorant, where chaos reigned supreme and danger lurked at every turn, your love story was a beacon of hope and a reminder that, even in the darkest of times, love could conquer all. With a final, gentle kiss, you both knew that you were ready to face whatever challenges the future held, hand in hand, hearts intertwined.

Trouble in Paradise! Gekko x Reader [Sample]
Heya again! I'm back, and this time with a quick story!
This isn't a request or anything like that, it's something quick that's been burning in my head for months but I had nowhere to post it that I wrote to introduce myself again, but this time with a banger! I hope you enjoy it!!
I'll still be working on requests, this is just the appetiser before the main courses, if you catch my drift. Anyway, I hope you have a good read! Oh, and don't mind the wonkiness. Tumblr formatting is such a doozy. I'll go back and try to fix any errors if I find 'em.
❤ฺ·。
Gekko / F! Reader
Words:  4k
Genre: Fluff
Summary: Drama unfolds after Gekko and Deadlock get into their first dispute in a mission you were in charge of. Seeing as how this might put a stain on your record, you set out to make things right and unintentionally remind Gekko why he had a crush on you in the first place.
。+❤ฺ·。❤ฺ·。+❤ฺ· +❤·。❤ฺ·。+❤ฺ·
Despite the lingering tension between them, Deadlock and Gekko never really got into an actual argument. Deadlock was simply too mature to let things get to her. At most, she’d throw Gekko a stern look before going on about her business.
And Gekko… he’s not the type to stir up conflict on his own. The only time he almost fought her was when she accidentally threw a Gravnet at Thrash, but it died down when he realised it was genuinely a mistake.
Today, however, was different.
Today, they were under your watch for the mission. And despite it being Deadlock’s third mission, you made the mistake of taking your eyes off of her and Gekko for one second.
Whilst waiting in the VLT/R, you noticed that everybody entered except for them.
“Y/N, you’re sure they’re not dead?”
In response to Viper’s concerns, you shook your head.
You weren’t incompetent, so of course, she believed you. But if that’s the case, then what the hell was taking so long?
Crap, what if they died when everybody left?
Lifting your hand towards your ear, you unmuted. And almost immediately, Gekko’s angry voice blared through your ears. And you flinched.
“...because Wingman got stopped doesn’t mean he did nothing! Hey, he probably did more than you this whole m–”
You muted.
That did not sound like Gekko at all. Since when was he so snappy?
It was kind of cute, in a way. But now’s not the time to be having such thoughts.
“I’ll go and check on them.”
Viper nodded and allowed you to hop out of the vehicle, making your way to them.
It didn’t take that long to figure out they were on A on account of how loud their voices had gotten. It felt unnatural to hear two of the calmest agents shouting like this.
❤ฺ·。
Arriving on A, you noticed them standing in the centre next to the generator, Deadlock leaning on it as she crossed her arms.
On her face wasn’t a typically serene expression. Instead, she harboured a massive amount of anger. So much so, neither of them heard the loud creaking of the wood boards under you as you walked, your heels elegantly clicking with each step.
“Why the strawman, Gekko?” Deadlock retorted, “I told you, again and again. It was a mistake. Get it through your head.”
“I just think it’s funny that you only make mistakes when it comes to my crew, you know? First the Gravnet, now this?”
Deadlock harshly waved him away, turning to the rafters you stood on.
“Then see if I care. I wasted too much of my time here. If you want to cry to somebody, then cry to–”
She stopped once she saw you, both of their expressions quickly softening.
“Cry to?”
You started, tilting your head.
Both of them had to look up to meet your gaze, the ledge you stood upon providing an unintentional boost to your already intimidating aura.
The blonde crossed her arms and turned her gaze to the ground, gritting her teeth.
“Nothing. I was… intending on returning to the aircraft.”
“After ten minutes?”
They fell into an awkward silence.
Keeping their bosses waiting whenever they’d call for a gathering in the meeting room already put them on thin ice. But keeping them waiting after a mission? Of course they’d think that they died or something horrible had happened.
Neither could imagine the displeasure on Viper and Brimstone when they realise the holdup was over some petty argument. Especially when it came to Deadlock, considering how highly they thought of her.
But the unamused look on your face says it all.
However, the worst part was the prospect of you having heard Gekko say such crass things. Typically, with a clear head, he’d never let those things leave his mouth.
But not only did he lose himself today, there stood an incredibly high chance that his crush heard him.
“Okay, fine! We’ll go back. Sorry for taking so long, and stuff…”
Then, your earpiece hissed.
“Y/N, did you find them?”
Viper asked. And just as quickly as she spoke to you, you unmuted and responded.
“They’re okay. You can go, but bring the aircraft back in fifteen minutes.”
“Understood.”
Just as you muted again, the two looked at you in absolute shock.
“Woah, hey, what’re you doing? Why’d you tell her that?”
Gekko said. And for once, Deadlock stood by him, angrily agreeing.
“I’m not returning to Viper with this on my record. If someone like Deadlock is going to start a fight in the middle of the site, then you’re both also going to settle it. Do you understand?”
“But–”
“Do you understand?”
“Crystal.”
Deadlock said through gritted teeth, and Gekko turned his gaze away whilst nodding.
They weren’t pleased, but they couldn’t really go against your orders.
It might not be your fault, but the idea that your techniques in battle could've caused the increase in friction between these two will definitely be planted in some agents’ heads.
If that idea then reaches Brimstone and Viper, and they believe it, it won’t end well on your side.
Deadlock getting in a fight was like Cypher or Omen getting in one. It’s incredibly concerning, considering how she is as a person.
You sat down on the ledge, resting your chin on your hand.
“Now, tell me what happened.”
“Deadlock almost used her cannon on Wingman, and–”
“Gekko says that I was purposely trying to shoot his creature but I–”
“That’s enough.”
They both spoke at the same time, and this prompted you to shut them up.
Bad idea.
But from what little you heard, you could clearly tell that neither of them provided an unbiased take on the situation. And unfortunately, you weren’t exactly focusing on them after the spike planted, so you couldn’t tell yourself.
Which is why this whole situation took place.
You sighed, and gestured to Deadlock.
“What happened?”
She took a deep breath and began explaining.
“The spike was planted. Their Jett ran to wine, so I wanted to trap her with my accelerator.”
Whilst she explained, she gestured to the left of the arched entrance. And you nodded, crossing your legs.
“When I launched the pulse, Wingman came out of nowhere and got in the way. I tried to avoid him, but I wanted to catch Jett as well. So the cocoon had a crooked path and an opening. If any of the others noticed that area and shot it, she could’ve easily escaped with one bullet! It’s nonsense!”
With each word she spoke, you could tell her anger began rising to a point she could hardly control.
“It was only luck that Viper had that wall up right after I got their Jett!”
You nodded once more.
During the mission, you do recall seeing the path that formed, noting how weak the wires looked as they desperately held on to each other. But it quickly flew by you.
Then, you turned to the Angeleno, who was now just as angry.
“Gekko, is this true?”
“Only parts of it! She’s just putting the blame on me like I can read people’s minds, or something!”
“Your creatures can take bullets no problem! Why’s my cocoon such an issue?!”
“I won’t let you harass my buddies just because you can, Deadlock!”
“Hey, look at me.”
They complied with clenched fists.
“Neither of you are to speak with the other without my permission. Do you understand?”
They nodded, Gekko fixing his posture and looking elsewhere.
You looked at him. Your gaze, despite the vacuous expression, easily pierced through his.
It left him uneasy. And a tiny bit awestruck.
“Tell me what happened.”
Unlike the articulate Deadlock, who took her time gathering her thoughts, Gekko simply let the words spew out of his mouth, completely discarding his inhibition.
“She’s right up until she blasted the cannon thing! I told everybody, out loud, that I was going for Jett, with Wingman in my hands. And I let the little man go! Then she took out her arm. It’s like she was waiting for me to send him out so she can hit him!”
“You didn’t say that through the radio–”
“Deadlock.”
Her mouth was quickly forced shut. A bit satisfying on the Angeleno’s side.
Only Gekko would manage to make such a calculated woman so angry. Same goes for Deadlock, now that you’ve seen this side of her.
In a way, it was poetic.
You sat back with a sigh and ran the situation back in your head.
Somehow, this was even more aggravating for the duo, the atmosphere around them thick to a suffocating degree. But this time, you weren’t the cause. The best part is that it was growing thicker as you thought, Deadlock’s finger slightly twitching thanks to the fury she felt.
It took you almost a minute to try and form a conclusion, but you couldn’t. You didn’t see enough to make such a decision.
Besides, it’s not like you could just go ahead and make one. This wasn’t some petty argument. If their abilities overlapped in a different way, it could’ve heavily backfired. There had to be repercussions for something like this.
“Okay. I need to run this with the others before something can be done. Until then, I’m suspending you two. I am not to see either of you in the same room, let alone talking to each other. Is that understood?”
They nodded.
“Good. Now, is there anything else you want to say before we leave?”
“No, no. We’re, um, we’re good.”
At most, Deadlock wanted to voice her annoyance at how much you interrupted, but that wasn’t really important in the grand scheme of things.
However, you could tell that Gekko was nervous. From the way he stood, and how he kept his eyes on the ground even when you looked at him.
It wasn’t related to his crush on you anymore, something else now bothered him.
You got up from your ‘seat’ and led them towards the departure point, silence taking over the conversation as they waited for the aircraft to return.
❤ฺ·。
Gekko jumped when he felt a flick against his forehead, mumbling an ‘ow’ and rubbing the spot in annoyance.
“Hey, what was that for?”
“You’ve been zoning out for the past minute! What’s on your mind, huh? Did something happen back in Venice?”
Jett crossed her arms on the cafeteria table and leaned forward, decreasing the distance between them even though she sat on the opposite side of the circular table.
“You could say that… I mean, it’s kind of a long story, and I don’t think–“”
Wingman ‘elbowed’ him and scolded him for his nonsense.
“It’s not that important! It’s not like–”
Then, a series of gargles took Jett’s eyes off of Gekko and on the yellow creature that suddenly leapt off of his lap, explaining to her what happened in detail.
Jett’s brown eyes glimmered as he spoke, but her expression remained blank. Like an amazed puppy that also had no idea what the hell was going on.
Suddenly, he was swiped away back to Gekko’s lap, a red tinge on his cheeks.
“Yo, quiet, little man! I’m trying to keep that secret!”
The last words were spoken through gritted teeth, but Jett didn’t notice.
“Come on, Gekko, I was listening to him! Did you have to do him like that?”
“I– I mean, he was getting carried away… but he just said that, um, basically, Deadlock and I got in a fight.”
“Deadlock?”
He nodded, disappointed at this predictable reaction.
“Why would Deadlock of all people get in a fight with you? She’s chill, like, I dunno, all the friggin’ time? And so are you!”
“That’s exactly what I’m worried about! The, um, the Deadlock part. If you think about her like that, then what’re the admins gonna say? They’ll take her side, no questions asked! They respect her way more.”
“Yo, Gekko, pause. You can’t be saying stuff like that when I don’t even know what happened. Give me a run down, yea?”
With a sigh, he started giving her a general explanation of the events, which took a bit on account of Jett asking for elaboration at random points in the story.
Gekko leaned against the chair once he was done, resting his arm on the back of it.
“...Y/N said that she’ll talk about it with the others, but, you know, Deadlock clearly has the advantage here.”
“What’re you on about, fam? What advantage has she got, she joined after you!”
The thick British accent snapped Gekko out of his bout of anxiety. He glanced at Phoenix who sat right next to him, sipping his smoothie.
“Since when were you here?”
“Gotta say, one hell of a feud you both got goin’ on, mate.”
“It’s not a feud, she’s trying to kill my buddies! I’m telling you. First, that bear, then Wingman.”
He heard a gurgle. But weirdly enough, it wasn't on his lap. They both looked at Jett, who was petting the creature she somehow stole whilst they were distracted.
“I dunno Gekko. I mean, I like you, but I think that it was just an accident like last time.”
“Give me a break. If what she’s doing is an accident, then you’re also accidentally stealing my friends eight times a day.”
She awkwardly giggled, turning her gaze back to Wingman on her lap.
“Nah, but, let’s go back to that advantage thing.”
“Just look at her! Deadlock has it all, you feel me? She’s like Sova. Experience, wisdom, looks, she lost an arm in a fight, too! I’m still in training.”
“Yeah, to be fair, you don’t look like you spent a day in a battlef–”
Jett elbowed Phoenix hard enough to shut him up, before meeting Gekko’s gaze with a warm expression.
“Don’t listen to them! Even if they take her side, in our hearts, you didn’t do anything wrong! We’ll defend you no matter what, Gekko!”
She spoke in a mawkish anime-like way, making Gekko chuckle. But he’d be lying if he said that it wasn’t cute.
“Yo, and since you like Y/N, maybe you can charm her into helping you out, you know? Take it from the man himself, mate!”
Phoenix thumped his chest once with a wide grin on his face. And though Gekko’s face turned beet red, he simply cleared his throat and tried his best to form a cohesive sentence.
“Dude, no way. Remember when Chamber tried flirting with Viper? I don’t want that to happen to me.”
“Sure, but remember, Viper still promised a date afterwards.”
Jett rolled her eyes.
“Chamber only got a date after he killed, like, four of them at once, smartass.”
The topic switched to something else, discussing how that date would go between them. And though it worked in making Gekko temporarily forget until the admins would come to a decision, his eyes still wandered throughout the cafeteria, worried.
And the unease only increased when he saw everyone except for his superiors.
❤ฺ·。
You, Brimstone and Viper sat around the large circular table in the meeting room, each facing each other as they discussed the situation, having heard you tell the whole story based on what Gekko and Deadlock said.
Sage was also meant to be here, but she never responded to the call for whatever reason.
It seems that, just like you, neither of them saw the events unfold in front of them. Though Viper was also onsite, she didn’t pay attention to them on account of her being busy with safely defusing the spike.
But that doesn’t mean they didn’t form opinions based on what you told them.
“Looks like a communication error on Gekko’s side.”
You perked up at this, confused.
“Gekko?”
“He didn’t use the radio before he sent out Wingman, he only spoke. I believe his voice was drowned out by the gunshots and whatnot.”
“Deadlock only said that in passing. There’s no concrete confirmation of such a thing.”
“I didn’t hear him, Y/N. Did you?”
She tilted her head with a raised eyebrow, the right portion of her hair slightly revealing her previously concealed green iris. You broke eye contact, looking elsewhere.
To be fair, he didn’t deny it. Either because he really didn’t, or he couldn't speak up right after you shut Deadlock’s mouth. Even you knew how compliant Gekko was whenever you'd so much as ask him to hold your bag or something.
“No, but…”
“It’s not too hard to believe. He’s still training under Harbour. He’s a good kid, but he’s bound to make mistakes.”
Brimstone spoke up, stroking his beard with one hand. Though he tried to, like you, make Viper more lenient towards the youth, she didn’t change her mind.
“The first thing you learn is not to mess up your communication. Even with the smallest mistake, someone could die and it would be too late for Sage to bring them back. And that’s a mild example.”
“None of Harbour’s notes on him mention any issues even related to this.”
You explain, Viper shaking her head.
“Why would it be Deadlock, then? This is a novice mistake while she has a notable amount of experience, even before her recruitment. I find it hard to believe.”
Brimstone nodded, before putting his hands down and sighing. Seems like he was convinced.
“If that note thing is true, then it’s out of character for him to suddenly make that mistake now.”
“So, what’s your decision?”
You all looked at each other for a few seconds, before Viper spoke up.
“Gekko failed to communicate properly.”
“Brimstone?”
He shrugged.
“Sorry, but she makes a good point. I’m gonna have to say the same thing.”
You set Gekko and Deadlock’s folders down on the table, taking a deep breath. Looks like there wasn’t much of a choice left.
“Will there be a penalty for this?”
“This is a major mistake, of course there will be.”
“Kid’s already in training, but I think we should increase the–”
Then, the door violently swung open, revealing a dishevelled figure.
“Sorry I’m late! Did I miss anything?”
Sage said amidst each gasp of air, holding enough files to look like a book close to her chest. Messy strands of her hair framing her face, alongside the sweat that dripped down her chin.
“Just about everything. We were about to penalise Gekko.”
Viper replied without lifting her gaze, unamused.
“Penalty? Don’t, don’t! He’s innocent. I was there. I heard him on the radio, Deadlock was the one who didn’t speak.”
Everyone locked eyes with the healer in surprise.
“Deadlock?”
“Yes. Y/N, you were there next to him, don’t you remember?”
“Not until now since you mentioned it.”
“So, Deadlock is the one who didn’t speak. Are you saying she intentionally ignored Gekko?”
Sage shrugged, setting the ‘booklet’ on the circular table and taking a seat.
“Perhaps she didn’t hear him, perhaps she ignored him. But what’s for sure is that Gekko did what he was supposed to do, while she stayed silent. Besides, I noticed this pattern in her communication. She usually forgets to call out what she sees. Was this not noted down?”
You shook your head once she gestured to her folders, watching as Sage tucked away a few strands of loose hair behind her ear. Of course, she was disappointed at this answer, even though you weren't the one responsible for noting down agent's inconsistencies.
“I am certain there are witnesses who can attest to this.”
“Are you still going with the penalty?”
Just as you asked, Viper held up a hand and let everyone fall into silence.
“What an unexpected turn of events. Looks like we’ll need to put her back into rigorous training. Everyone in agreement?”
You all agreed.
“Y/N, open her folder and write down when I tell you. You’ll inform both of them afterwards, understood?”
You nodded, opening the file and taking out the pen in your pocket, a sticky note just inches away on the desk behind you.
Of course, despite how useful she was as a witness, that didn’t mean that Sage didn’t get an earful for her tardiness. With how much the younglings here complained about how serious even Brimstone was about being on time for a meeting, this is the exact situation they never wanted to deal with.
❤ฺ·。
Deadlock wasn’t pleased with the news whatsoever. Being put back into not just normal training, but vigorous despite her experience felt like a spit in the face. And yet, of course, being the person she was, she bit her tongue and simply accepted it.
Next to her was the much younger Gekko, who stood there fighting for his life so as to not smile at the news.
Not at her being punished, even though it was a small part of it, but the fact they even thought to take his side against her.
“Are there no more details about this?”
“Sage will talk to you tomorrow at sundown, Deadlock. You can ask her questions there.”
“I see.”
“Good. Now, is there anything else?”
Deadlock shook her head, but Gekko meekly took his chance to speak up.
“Hey, uh, can I talk to you alone?”
The blonde silently took this as her queue to leave, making her way to the exit and allowing the door to slam itself shut; leaving you both alone in your dreadful office.
Just like the meeting room, the air was heavy. The atmosphere was thick, and your piercing gaze only made things worse for anyone unfortunate enough to speak to you in your office alone.
“So, this might sound weird, but, um, I really thought you’d all take her side, you know?”
“At first. I tried to convince them, but Viper and Brimstone are very rigid. Sage managed to help me turn the tides eventually.”
You explained as you crossed your arms, noticing the glimmer in his eyes. Gekko promptly beamed with a smile. You expected him to follow up with a simple sentence like usual, maybe for him to stumble over his words. But instead, it was something you never would’ve expected.
Just as you blinked, the usually meek boy pulled you into an embrace, wrapping his arms around you tight enough to unintentionally push all of the air out of your body and suffocate you. Being naturally taller and stronger than you are, he had an easy time lifting you a few inches to level the hug.
“Thank you! Thank you, thank you! I owe you for this, really!”
“For– uh, what?”
You really couldn’t breathe. You could hardly make that sentence. And hearing your breathless voice, he realised what he did.
With a beet red face, he quickly put you down and took a step back, scratching the back of his head.
“S– sorry, I, um, I kinda lost myself there. But I really thought that they’d be biassed, you know? With how much they like Deadlock and that crap…”
Catching your breath, you took a deep sigh and met his gaze. You clear your throat.
Yeah, ‘lost himself’ is a bit of an understatement.
“Don’t worry about it, Gekko. The decision was made, and you’re now free to go.”
“But I have to thank you back for this, Y/N! I really appreciate what you did!”
You giggle and gently pat his shoulder. A simple touch that turned his cheeks red even more than possible.
“You don’t owe me anything. I'm just doing my job.”
“You sure? I could–”
“Really. It’s just my job.”
Gekko opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out as realisation hit him.
Clearly, you weren’t going to give in and allow him to pay you back. No matter how much he’d insist.
Then, he smiled once more, shrugging innocently.
“If you say so. I’ll drop it, then.”
“Good. I’ll see you tomorrow?”
He eagerly nodded with a cheeky grin, before leaving your office just as quickly. The door slamming shut.
Though you were relieved that he gave in and didn’t pursue the topic, you thought back to the way his eyes gleamed with emotion once ‘realisation hit him’. Gekko was a stubborn boy. How could he change his mind so quickly within just a few words? You knew he was compliant, but this situation differed from the others...
Oh.
That wasn’t realisation, was it? He’s just gonna go and plan something else. Somehow find a way to thank you right under your nose. And with a group of friends just as cheeky as him, he’d probably have a moderate chance of success. You knew how ‘talented’ Raze, Phoenix and Jett were when it came to pranks.
Upon this revelation, you couldn’t help but sigh. You sit back on your rolling chair and turn on the laptop on the table against the wall.
However, you couldn’t help but smile.
Though it would be inevitable to have to politely reject whatever he had planned for you, even you couldn’t deny how cute Gekko was.
Young people, huh?

Can you do yandere and deadlock reacting to S/O accidently getting seriously hurt during a sparring session
𝕊𝕔𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕕
Tumblr media
Words: 419
Sparring sessions had an easy enough layout. First you had to warm up, nothing too harsh. Then it started, only hand to hand at this point. Anything you could do without powers or technology was fair game. And during that time you could hold your ground pretty well, only gaining a few bruises and scrapes.
But Iselin wasn’t worrying, it allowed her to spend more time with you. And she got to hold you after, something rare during the day due to being agents. Hearing the next alarm go off, signalling abilities allowed. Unluckily enough you were against Phoenix, who had great powers honestly, but he didn’t know how to use them and was reckless.
So whenever you went against him or went on a mission with him, Iselin stayed close. But today she couldn’t be as close as she’d prefer, but she knew you could handle yourself. So she let herself watch, meaning she saw everything.
How quickly his fire came to life, and how quickly it spread. Circling the two of you, but it didn’t stop there. Soon it engulfed the arena, and within seconds not even Phoenix could put them out. The overhead sprinklers turned on, soaking the flames into nothing.
Not only was the floor charred to the point of replacement, you laid within it all. Clothing, hair and even skin was charred, groaning in pain when any of it was touched. That set her off.
The familiar whirring of her tech had everyone’s head turning, quickly following as she rushed out of the room and into the arena.
“Deadlock!”
“Iselin!”
Before she knew a wall had blocked her path, sending her ultimate bouncing back. And luckily, missing everyone. Turning in anger to Sage, who was also looking angered.
“What was that for!”
“I know you two are dating, but you can’t let your anger control you like this.”
Everyone watched as Sage’s words seemed to only anger Deadlock, only for her to shut the device off. Dropping it into the waiting hands of Sage before she rushed off, hauling you into her arms. Keeping you close to herself and away from everyone else, and they let her, stepping away as she walked past.
They knew if she had her way, Phoenix wouldn’t be stuck with more chores. He would be stuck six feet under, but the protocol wouldn’t let that happen, not today. Who knows, if he ends up missing or gravely injured on a future mission, they couldn’t pin it on her. Right?

the idea of getting out of the closed metal corridors of the protocol first seemed a horrible idea because of the rapidly growing number of missions that needed to be taken care of. but once you dropped unconscious during a simple staff meeting sage advised you to take a couple of days off to try and relax. seeing your determination to not follow the doctor’s orders, iselin went ahead and suggested something simple like a picnic so both of you could take time off.
“i’d hate to be a killjoy, but what is all this?” you laugh as you see the platter of food that iselin was taking out of the wooden picnic basket and placing on the red-white checkered blanket. she looks up at you, in the midst of taking your drinks out with a small and excited smile, a little of her teeth showing before she bites her lip and ushers you with her hand to sit down.
“some norwegian food, I’m not the best cook but we never have time to try something new so this could be it!” she says, pointing at all the little plates with two bigger servings of food. there were many things, sandwiches, fish, some kind of balls, and even a container of desert-looking deliciousness.
you straighten your skirt out, carefully sitting down next to deadlock who takes the clingwrap off of the plates and offers the food to you one by one, telling you about the stories behind them between bites. by the end of it, you can’t say you regret breaking out of the cold
iselin’s head rested on your shoulder, legs crossed as she listened to you talk about how delicious the food that she prepared for you was. you were so focused on going on and on about the new tastes that you didn’t notice the blonde's hand comfortably resting on your thigh, confidently climbing up under your skirt little by little.
it took another ten minutes until you noticed her hand creeping, fingers brushing against the skin as she slowly pulled your skirt up. trying to pay no attention to it you kept your cool, but your breath hitched, and your words became shaky as the thoughts of iselin's hand palming you plagued your mind.
you give her a glance, a sort of warning, but more of a scared look when her fingertips graze over your panties, just above the hem of your black skirt that had ridden up higher than expected, and your eyes widen when you feel her touch you through your underwear. but your eyes immediately snapped back at the sight of her smirking, her face inching closer to yours until her lips glide across the shell of your ear.
“be a good girl and be quiet, okay kjære?” she whispers, her hot breath combined with her teasing rubs making the thin material covering you feel suffocating, especially the nice underwear that you put on.
"iselin, please..." you breathe, barely able to just reach out to grab her arm, trying to make her move her hand or just stop this public torture she has put you under. "i need you,"
"hmm, while outside with all these people who might see?" you look around as she says it, watching as a few people pass by in the distance but also noting that it is getting a bit dark, the sun hiding behind a giant cloud. the chances of getting caught still riled you up, but it get you hotter to think about the chances lowering with the shades covering you.
"mm, isn't that what you were l-looking for when you forced me outside?"
"what a clever girl." you sighed pleasantly at the praise, a small giggle leaving you but soon cut off as iselin's hand finally found your aching cock under your panties, giving it a few experimental pumps. you watched your girlfriend's hand move under your skirt with your breath stuck in your throat, fingers balling up into a fist as the small shocks of pleasure ran down your body.
iselin loved every moment, the way your hips jerked into her hand, feeling your precum dribble down between her hand and your skin. not to mention how excited she got over the bare thought of how much you will struggle keeping quiet, having to hold your breath, choke on your own sounds, and trying to fight back against her when you were just a matter of a stroke or two away from coming.
"how eager." deadlock gently whispered into your ear before nibbling on your lobe.
"s-shut up..." you said softly under your breath, cheeks hot.
the blonde snickered before rubbing her thumb around your tip causing you to suck in a shaky breath through your teeth. "i just thought it was cute." she said simply before moving her hand back, wrapping her soft fingers back around you.
you shiver, biting onto your lower lip as iselin continues. she knew exactly how to get you to cum quickly, what the right speed was, and what the exact spot was where you were the most sensitive. your breathing was labored, your other hand gripping the edge of the blanket tightly and sweat dripped down from your forehead.
she knows exactly what buttons to push, and she presses them all without hesitation, causing you to let out an audible moan. she moves your hair back so that she can kiss the side of your neck, leaving a few sloppy kisses behind.
"this is my favorite part." she murmurs into your skin. "the moments where you don't know what will happen but know that i will do anything for you." you could practically taste the smug smile on her voice as you hear it. with this she picks up her pace, a still steady but faster rhythm of stroking your shaft, making sure to press her thumb a little harder against the underside of your dick, putting extra pressure of your pulsing vein.
the greedy attention that you receive is one you cannot bear anymore, coming with little pathetic groans while choking on your breath, trying not to be loud. your whole body arching upwards, your dick pouring ropes of cum into iselin's hand and your panties. the blonde giving it some last caresses, milking you for everything you had before releasing your spent cock and wiping her hand first with the inside of your skirt, then the corner of the blanket.
you collapse against deadlock, exhausted and panting heavily. you tried to catch your breath before looking up at her. iselin's face was contorted into a mix of amusement, pride, and satisfaction. her now clean hand came up, cupping your cheek before leaning down and kissing you sweetly. "let's go home." she cooed before letting out a sigh of relief and standing up, offering you her hands as she tried to help you stand up. "are you alright?" she asks with a smirk, pulling on your hand. you nod, but despite taking her hand not pushing yourself up when she pulls on your hand. she laughs, still admiring your glowing features, and suggests that you gather yourself in a teasing tone. with a little groan, you agree and just enjoy the lingering bliss.

VALORANT MEETING + DATE HEADCANONS
Hope you enjoy!
SOVA
He was finishing recon in a snowy forest late at night and was done for the day.  He outstretched his arm and sent out the Owl Drone
So far, you had been hiking for about 8 hours through frigid woods and gotten lost about 2 hours earlier.  You were trying to make camp for the night but failing to start a fire
You caught a glimpse of Sova’s drone and followed it back to the man, who immediately regarded you with some suspicion but could see you were of his dimension
Deciding to keep an eye on you, he led you back to his campsite and helped you set up your tent next to his
He was kind, and he quietly offered you a seat next to him by the fire.  Both of you sat awkwardly at first, not quite sure how to handle the silence
“Do you do archery out here?  I noticed the bow and wanted to ask…” you trailed off as he looked at you
He removed the bow and two arrows from his sling.  “Would you like a look at them?”  You moved closer and inspected them.  The technology was intricate but your eyes wandered over to the man sitting close to you
“What brings you out here?”
“I wanted to do the Blue Lakes trail but I got lost a while back.  I was planning on stargazing at the top but…” you gestured to your compass, “I got lost”
“I leave here tomorrow, and I can show you to the trail if you would like.”  Sova offered
You accepted his offer and both of you went to your tents for the night
Humiliatingly, the trail back was marked but Sova didn’t seem to care that you got lost so easily.  The two of you just chatted about the surroundings while traveling onward
At the trailhead, you had to part ways.  But it didn’t have to be the end, and you made a fast decision and asked to see him again
“I’d love to!  What did you have in mind?”
Sova Date
At the trailhead, you finished tying your boots before a familiar voice called out
“Hello y/n!  Should we start walking?”  Sova had dressed in pants and a blue flannel jacket
Both of you continued up to a clearing in the forest, just as the sun was begging to set
You laid out a large blanket from your pack and set it down.  Sova took out a pair of bags and bottles of water
You hadn’t expected him to bring home cooked food, but you weren’t complaining either
Sova and you made yourselves comfortable, and ate while you waited for the evening to turn to night
Conversing with him was always peaceful.  He listened deeply and always responded with optimism or curiosity
The North Star was the first to appear, followed by a few faint constellations
Within an hour, the sky was overrun with stars.  Each point of light layered on another creating a portrait of the galaxy
Sova and you took turns pointing out constellations, each time trying to remember what each star was named
Both of you relied on the book of astronomy you brought along to figure out what was in the sky
Sova had an understanding of stars to navigate, and would name stars in Russian or translate what he could
Although you and him were occupied with stargazing, you started to succumb to the cold of the night
“Y/N, are you cold?”
“No, it’s nothing you need to-”
Sova took his jacket off and place it on you.  The lining inside was warm from Sova’s body heat
“Are you still cold?  Come here, and stay close to me.”  Sova gestured for you to join his side
For the rest of the night, you and him stayed in almost constant contact until you both decided to head back
You followed behind Sova, his sense of direction and torch lit the way.  Despite being deep in the wilderness, you felt safe in his presence
When you arrived at the trailhead, Sova said his goodbyes.  He made sure you would arrive home safely before leaving.  His jacket was still on you
“Sova, you forgot this.” you held his jacket out to him.
“Keep it Y/N, I want you to have it for the next outing.  I hope it brings you much warmth and comfort while I am away.”
“Here’s something to remind you of me.” you gave Sova a kiss
He was a blushing mess, and held you close before departing back to the Valorant HQ
While you traveled back to your home, you ran your fingers over the soft material of Sova’s jacket.  It smelled faintly of him
DEADLOCK
You were in LA when the Landfall facility erupted and you were caught in the crossfire of Omega and Alpha variants.  A single Shock Arrow went off course and hit you with enough voltage to knock you out
Once you came to, Deadlock had finished performing CPR on you, including mouth to mouth.
When you came to, your face was covered in blonde locks of hair, gazing into eyes with intense blue irises, and her body pressed against yours
Iselin was red in the face, and so were you.  Perhaps for the same reason…
Other agents were finishing off the Omega team, Iselin didn’t really have anything else to worry about other than stabilizing you
“Can you tell me your name?” she asked, hoping to establish if you were coherent
You replied perfectly, and set her at ease.  Then you had an idea, and asked for her name
“Deadlo- Iselin, my name is Iselin” she responded
Because you managed to get at least a name, you pressed your luck and asked more about her
“That will have to wait, we’re taking you a hospital to make sure you weren’t injured in any other way”
Sage gave you a check up and confirmed you were fine, then hooked up a heart monitor before leaving to inspect other agents
Iselin walked over to see how you were doing, then sat next to your cot.  It was another chance to get to see her and you tried to converse politely with her
As you chatted she kept looking over your shoulder to something, all while still remaining invested in your conversation
“Do I make you nervous?” She asked softly
“What!  No!  Why would you think that?” you quickly answered back
“It’s just that the monitor says you have an elevated heart rate.”
Looking behind you, the screen did show you that weren’t as relaxed
“Oh!” you exclaimed, “It’s just that, I find you kind of… attractive”
The machine was beeping rapidly now, but not detracting from the silence that swallowed the moment between you and Iselin.  She spoke first
“Would you like to spend some time together then?”  she was blushing as much as you
As you walked out of the clinic, you made plans to see her again
Deadlock Date
You and Iselin decided to meet at a Valorant safehouse that Cypher had once used.  He promised he removed all the cameras
She had prepared some ingredients for dinner you could cook together.  Cooking was something she did with her old team
Because you were in LA still, she managed to find fresh salmon at a market and decided to cook it
She gutted it in front of you, and taught you how to debone, clean and prepare the fish.  Her skill with the knife was amazing, if not intimidating
You asked a for some help and she took your hand, showing you the right way to cut
The rest of the preparation was easier, requiring less input.  It was during this that you talked to Iselin
For her, it was refreshing to find someone who didn’t know about her past, the trauma she’d endured, and could let in gradually
You came to understand that she was ex-military but nothing official.  Her main expertise was in tracking and scouting, which you decided to test
You’d ask about urban legends or survival stories and she’d debunk them or let in on a fact about hunting
The incredulous reactions you had managed to coax a smile out of her
As dinner began, you both started sharing more personal stories and began to get more well-acquainted with the other’s background
Iselin bristled when you asked why she was with Valorant, and she decided to say as much as she could stomach
“I had something happen to me and they were there for me.”  Her eyes darted to her prosthetic arm
There was a moment of silence, tension rose
“I’m glad they were there for you, if they weren’t I don’t think I would have met you.”
The words touched Iselin deeply, and she could only utter out a phrase
“Tusen takk.” she smiled up at you
As you finished your dinner you both had easier conversations about personal tastes.  It was here you found that Iselin enjoyed hiking
“Would you like to go hiking with me?” you asked tentatively
Iselin’s face lit up and she quickly responded with “Ja takk!”
Sadly she had to leave soon and you both exited the safehouse.  Iselin turned to you as you closed the door
“Y/N, thank you.  It hasn’t been easy to let people get close but you’ve helped me relax a bit.  I won’t forget you y/n.”
You got the sense Iselin was signaling something, and you leaned in.  She kissed you and held you close, then cautiously let go
She left you the same way she found you: breathless
ISO
Your day at work had come to an end, and you stepped off of your bus preparing to walk the rest of the way home
Iso’s had already began, as he was chasing down a member of his past corporation.  He had finished off their friends, now it was time to end them
His target had managed to jump out of the window to avoid capture, but Iso didn’t let up even as their chase took them onto the street
A small commotion occurred as Iso’s prey shoved you to put distance between his assassin
As they ran past you, one of Iso’s headphones fell out
Right in front of you as he ran into an alley from your sight
What else were you to do?  Of course you had to return it to him (not because you wanted to get a better look at him)
You began to head towards the alley to see if you could catch Iso in time.  Meanwhile Iso put his abilities into practice
Iso’s target fell right into the Kill Contract, and the assassin stepped into the space disappearing into the Interverse
Of course you didn’t see anything, just a few strange purple particles floating through the air nearby
By the time he stepped out of his Kill Contract he ran right into you and you both fell over
Iso was bewildered and worried a civilian had discovered his secret
He and you caught a glimpse of each other and stopped struggling
Sheepishly, you handed him back his headphone and he took it back while being careful to hide the pistol he had in his coat
After helping you to your feet, you asked him what he was listening to and his reply of 99 God was a welcome surprise
“Wait, do you like his music too?” you asked
“Of course, I’ve been to some of his shows too.  I have playlists full of him.”
You just happened to have 2 tickets to a concert of his, and seizing on the opportunity you asked if he would be interested
It was a yes
Iso Date
At the concert, you met Iso at the front before walking in together.  The ticket staff asked if you were a couple while scanning your passes
Iso blushed immediately and you felt your soul vacate your body
“Ye- maybe?”  “Well it wouldn’t be that, b-” “Uh I think so?”
You both hurried in to the concert and got over the shock
“That was kind of awkward right?  Who even asks that kind of question?”  Iso broke the tension
“I don’t understand people sometimes.” you replied
Eventually that faded into background as the music started, it was a something else to focus on
You and Iso joined the crowd in excitement, dancing and singing to the music that leapt from the speakers
The opening set was absolutely worth the ticket cost
“THIS IS AMAZING!” you cried out.  Iso agreed emphatically
Lost in the moment, you watched Iso feeling the rhythm as purple lights from a nearby projector shown on the crowd
You gazed at him in awe as violet lasers ran over both of your faces, he stared back with equal entrancement
Deciding to embrace the moment, you both stole a quick kiss when smoke machines shrouded the crowd and the show ended
On your way out, Iso and you both talked about your favorite songs, the performance, and the special effects
“This was a great night y/n, we should do something like this again.”
Barely holding back your excitement, you kissed him again before heading home
Iso walked back home listening to a track titled “Songs for Y/N”
Being a hitman was a lonely job, and even since he had joined Valorant he still lacked closeness.  Luckily, he had found you
GEKKO
Thrash had gotten away from him while he was out running a few errands, and he was worrying at this point
He heard the sound of the creature knocking over cans and moving around the isles.  He dashed over to see her pouncing from a shelf into a cart
Your cart
She didn’t revert to a globule, but instead curled up into the cart along with your groceries.  Gekko was beyond panicked at this point
You cautiously reached down and tapped on the critter, and when it nuzzled your hand you started to pet it
Gekko was astounded by Thrash getting along with someone, and stood there in awe as you picked her up and continued to scratch her belly
You noticed him staring at you with his jaw hanging open
“Uh, is this yours?” you asked while handing Thrash over to him.  She flew into Gekko’s satchel excitedly
“Uh, yeah, thanks for catching her.  I never see her get along with other people so it’s kind of weird to see her like this.  The rest of my crew is a lot more chill.”
“The rest of your crew?” you asked.  Gekko realized he said too much at that point
“Well I’m not supposed to talk about it but…a no la importa ahorita.”  he summoned Wingman and placed him in your hands
You saw your chance and took it
“I’d love to get to them and you too if you wanted to do something some time.”
Gekko went red, then smiled
“Meet me tomorrow evening at the Kingdom train depot, past the security fence.”
It was a date, one you were eager for but slightly worried about
Gekko Date
Following Gekko’s instructions was easy enough, getting into the trainyard was easy but the fear of being caught was palpable
It was kind of a rush though, sneaking by all of the cameras and guards.  You knelt down behind some crates and let out a sigh
A finger tapped on your shoulder and you twisted around in fear
“Oye, calma!” Gekko whispered.  “It’s me, you can chill.”  He smiled at you and gestured to a bag you carried
It was filled with spray paints of different colors rattled around inside.  Gekko walked you over to a train car he had already covered in stencils
He grabbed 2 cans gleefully and shook them together.  He tossed the other to you and grinned.  “Lista?  Let’s do this.”
You both got to work, assisted by Wingman to keep watch and hand paint cans.  Deep blues and electric greens covered the car at first, followed by pastel violets.
Cans of paint traded hands, fingers brushing near but never touching.  Until Gekko looked up at the top stencil and had an idea
He hoisted you up on his shoulders and had you paint it.  Wobbling back and forth, you sprayed the last parts of the design before he cautiously let you down
“Ok, I want you to close your eyes alright?” Gekko pleaded. “Wait up, okay 3. 2. 1”
Your eyes opened and saw the beauty you and him created together
It was a scene of a jungle at night, navy blue foliage covering up most of it while neon green fireflies dotted the mural.  In the middle was a prowling jaguar with a cub between its front legs
“It’s beautiful…” you whispered
“you are too” whispered Gekko.  Wingman abruptly pushed you both together and you met each other’s gaze
Both of you kissed each other quickly before blushing and quickly breaking down into embarrassed apologies
“You, I.  We should, do this more right?”
“Yeah, por supuesto”
Wingman lived up to his name that night
CHAMBER
You’d met at after a charity dinner hosted by Kingdom, and it was the most boring thing you’d ever attended
It was a show of corporate goodwill but mainly to placate the public.  The only reason you showed up is because the donations went straight to your city
Plus free wine, which you had taken and were drinking on a balcony that gave you some space from everyone else
“Fait froid non?”
You turned to see a tall man dressed in a fine suit and prismatic tie, his hand extended in greeting
“Vincent Fabron, enchante”
He took your hand, refraining from kissing it and instead shooting you a flirtatious grin
He made small talk with you about the event, and brought up that he had been with Kingdom as a guest.  Both of you started talking about each other's lives
Fabron asked if you had a partner
You blushed a bit and replied “no,” to which he responded “Tres bien, then would you be free for dinner sometime this week?”
You were taken aback by how forward he was, but then again he was a gentleman and quite handsome
A digital chime broke the silence and Fabron checked his wristwatch.  An alert was going off, accompanied by some V-shaped sign
“I look forward to meeting you once more,” he gestured to his watch, “but I am afraid I have some responsibilities to tend to.  Au revoir”
He waved at you as he went back inside and disappeared
In your hands was the card, which had the address of a high end restaurant and a time written on it.  The other side was the business card of Vincent ‘Chamber’ Fabron
Chamber Date
Dressed in your finest clothing, you waited outside of the restaurant building but were unsure where Chamber was
You pulled out the card to see if you had made a mistake and noticed a colorful glow coming from it
In a flash of radiant energy you were teleported, right into a private room with Vincent waiting
“Bonne nuit, I hope the teleportation was comfortable.  Let me get your seat.”
Vincent had finished lighting candles, setting plates, and took your coat before seating you across from him
You sat down to a prepared dinner of salad, coq au vin, and fresh bread
Vincent pressed something on his watch, then teleported a bottle of red wine to his hand and opened it.  He poured your glass and sat down as he poured his own
He began asking more about your life, interests, and even a few intimate questions
You naturally responded with your own questions, learning about his time at Kingdom and even a little about his time with Valorant
He asked about your life some more, not forgetting any of the details you told him the first time you met
By the time you both had finished the wine, it felt as if you knew the other as lifelong partners.  Vincent was listening to you explain something, but you became nervous
“Am I boring you?  I didn’t mean to-”
“I assure you, nothing you do could ever be boring.  There’s nobody more invested in you than me, Y/N.”
You were taken aback, and felt a spark of something.  On an impulse you leaned in
Chambers' lips met yours and both of you kissed, he had found a private room so the moment you both shared was only yours to know
When you finished, Vincent sat back confidently with a somewhat knowing, if not smug, look on his face
“I’ve been waiting for you to do that all night”
FADE
Istanbul is a lively city, so the few places that offered a bit of peace were an oasis.  One such oasis was a bookstore in Kadikoy
You had paged through books but hadn’t really found anything that piqued your interest yet.  The saturation of supernatural romances and dystopian teen novels wasn’t helping
A woman with dark hair was also reading through another book, but unlike you was invested.  She sat at a table with a glass of warm tea
Her hands obscured the title, but you wanted to know if it was worth reading
Not like you had other reasons
“Uhh hi, what are you reading?”
You came face to face with mismatched eyes and a curious stare
“Dune,” she moved her hand to let you see the cover, “I’ve had it recommended to me by friends.  It’s quite good.”
You instinctively replied, “I know right, especially when Paul-” you cut yourself off before spoiling the book
Fade wasn’t normally in a mood to talk with strangers, but something about you was different to her
Normally she could feel fear emanate from people near her, however she didn’t get any sense you held fear
Of course this intrigued her
“Do you come to this store often?  I come here often but I haven’t seen you here before.”
You told her you were visiting for the first time but often went to another store that closed
“So you read often, what genre is your favorite?” she had set down her book
“I prefer science fiction, but I’ll read anything with good characters.” you replied. “What do you prefer?”
“The same, although I’ll read anything when I have the chance.” she took a sip from her glass
Just as she finished, one of Istanbul’s many cats entered the store.  A calico covered in large orange spots and one giant black spot across its back
It came up to you and began rubbing against your legs.  Then it came over to Fade and did the same
“She seems to like you,” you mentioned before Fade took the calico and fed it something from her bag.  She held it in her lap as it chewed on whatever it was eating
“Come, she is friendly.”  Fade invited you next to her.  Obliging, you sat down and started petting the cat
“What is your name?”
“Hazal”
“And you are?”
“Y/N,” you took your chance, “Would you want to get khave some time and talk a bit more?”
“Evet, that sounds lovely”
Fade Date
The neighborhood of Moda provided the perfect place to reacquaint yourself with Hazal
Naturally as you were on your way over, Hazal found you first.  The woman is a bounty hunter after all
“Merhaba!” Hazal surprised you and led you into a small cafe.  There were only a few other customers, leaving you and her mostly alone
She ordered khave, and you ordered the same.  The Turkish coffee brought to you was the first you ever had
It was like drinking coffee grounds and pure caffeine in a cup.  It was an acquired taste but very easy to acquire
Hazal and you talked about books you had read recently.  You compared some of the adaptations you both saw in theaters, agreeing mostly that the books were better
The conversation moved to life, and you asked about what Hazal did.  She mentioned that she did ‘private investigation’ but now works with a private security organization
It was a secretive topic, but you were fine with her answer.  It was more important to focus on the future
“Y/N, have you ever had your fortune read?” Hazal asked
“Not really, do you know how to tell the future?” you replied, you were curious at this point
Hazal pointed to your empty cup
You passed it over to her and she looked it over.  She searched it over and then set it in the middle of the table
“I see in your future…a deep unrest and sudden death.”  She turned up to you with a dire look in her eyes
“I’m going to die?” you asked.  Hazal’s facade broke and she laughed a bit
“Hayir, relax, it is only a joke.  In fact you’ll like the reading better now.”
You calmed a bit, and laughed a bit at how she managed to mess with you
“It seems like you’re going to go through some change, brought on by things beyond your control.”  she paused to look over the coffee cup, “But something will bring you great solace during this.”
“I wish I knew what that something was.  Do you see anything else about it?” you asked
“Well I have one theory,” Hazal pointed to herself, “It could be someone, not something.”
You decided to flirt a bit more, “And who could that be?”
“Someone close, someone mysterious maybe?  They could even be right here.”
“I’d bet they’d even go for a kiss if given the chance,” you caught Hazal leaning in as you said it
You shared a kiss with her, the first of many
VIPER
She rarely ventured outside of her lab and between running Valorant and missions, she had to keep her time off brief and tended to try keep a low profile
Her time outside of the HQ was generally spent visiting parts of the world and visiting art museums
Viper had a particular love of the arts, and museums were often silent so there was little interference from other people
Except for you
She was observing Goya’s Black Paintings, specifically Saturn Devouring His Son.  It’s savagery was overwhelming and therefore intrigued her
You sat down on a bench to observe it as well, and maybe the other person in here with you.  The grotesque painting was enthralling, if not disturbing to think about
Then she sat down next to you, and you tried to keep your eyes on the painting.  It was impossible not to dart your eyes over to her
“Why do you keep looking at me?” Viper spoke in a bitter tone
Thinking as fast as you could you explained that you weren’t looking at her per say, rather just the…painting behind her.  You were looking over at Duelo a Garrotazos
She raised an eyebrow and sighed, “That’s an awful lie.”
To prove your innocence you went into detail about what you knew about the painting:  History, interpretation, value, and origin.
Sabine’s suspicion turned to interest
“You know art quite well, is it a passion of yours or a profession?”
“Just a passion, and I wasn’t trying to stare at you.”
“I’m not as concerned with that anymore, what I am curious about is what brings you here.”
“Just wanted to look at the collection.  By the way, I never got your name.”
“Sabine, and yours is?”
“Y/N”
“Have you ever painted before Y/N?  Or are you mostly a critic?”  Sabine’s intense green eyes studied your reaction
“Only a little bit, but I enjoy it when I have the chance.”
“Would you be interested in joining me at a studio sometime this week?  I rented a space.”
Caught off guard, you quickly asked if she was trying to ask you out.  She was less interrogative now, and being genuine in her offer
“I would love to.” you answered.
An alert from Sabine’s phone broke the moment.  Her face contorted into exasperation, and she quickly texted something back.
“It appears I have something to attend to Y/N.  We should discuss this later.”
Sabine handed you a page from a pocket book with her number, and after she took one last look at the gallery, left the museum
As she left, you heard her mutter something about her lab and ‘Phoenix,’ whatever that meant
Her leaving was a bit abrupt, but you would be seeing her again and you could hardly wait
Viper Date
Viper didn’t tell anyone about your date except for Brimstone
In her space she had assembled what she could for a still life: a few beakers and a collection of poisonous flowers like Oleandar, Belladonna, and Hemlock
Her arrangement was of flowers sticking out of scientific glasses.  It wasn’t the most ornate but it did offer plenty to paint
Knocking several times, you waited outside for Sabine to let you in.  She greeted you with a softer tone than at the museum
You began assembling your palette with Sabine.  You went for realistic colors, she went for darker variants
Each of you took a couple of brushes, dipped them in a glob of paint, and began your still-lifes
As you painted, you started discussing what each of you did for work, then chatted about art and world events
Both of you blamed Kingdom for much of the world’s current issues, and Sabine shared stories from when she worked for them
Some of them were definitely a little worrying, considering she had not only slightly poisoned coworkers but avoided being fired in doing so
Her understanding of chemistry was incredible to listen too, she had a clear passion for it
“Why do you like working with poison so much?”
“I’m good at it, there’s not much more to it,” she paused, assessing her answer,
“But I guess I enjoy what they mean to us.  We fear them because we don’t understand them, but once we do they control life and death.  I like that, the power they give to those willing to take it.”
“So you think of what you do as a way to help people, but using something that people don’t trust.”
“I suppose so.”
“Do you ever feel alone then?”  Sabine paused mid brushstroke, “It must be difficult having interests people are afraid of.”
“It can be Y/N, but I’ve found it isn’t as bad anymore.  Poisons have their place in my life, people are earning theirs.”  She went back to her palette
You added in more pastels to make the flowers stand out against the background
Once you were done, you shared the results with one another.  Yours was more bright, and had heavier detail.  Sabine’s was more abstract, focusing on brush strokes and tone
At the end, you both exchanged the paintings as a parting gift
Sabine cautiously asked if you would like to have dinner some time.  She picked at one of her nails waiting for a response
“Of course!” you replied.  Then leaned in and gave a Sabine a quick peck on the cheek
She could hardly get a word out
You and her left the studio planning on dinner and more art nights in the future.  You had settled on portraits next
Sabine later thought about asking you pose nude for a portrait but dismissed the thought
CYPHER
Normally, you tried to stay away from explosions, gunfire, and energy blasts.  While slipping away you were caught in a leftover trip wire you didn’t see
The wire had tangled your legs, and forced you on the ground
You were frantically struggling against the wires when you heard footsteps
“Well, well, it appears a fly has gotten caught in my web.  Let’s see who it is.” a voice coldly whispered
A man in a white coat and hat stepped from behind the corner with a gun drawn.  His eyes were hidden by a dark mask, mechanical blue eyes took their place.  Unfeeling
At least until he saw you.  Despite the mask you saw the shock take hold immediately
“Oh, apologies,” he reached his hand out and retrieved the wire, “I wasn’t expecting others to get caught”
The initial fear you had turned to confusion
“Who are you?” you asked
“I prefer people I don’t know to call me Cypher.  Allow me to lead you out of here.”
His offer seemed genuine and you didn’t have any other choice but to follow him into a hidden room where he sat you down
“I didn’t mean to catch you, I hope it was not uncomfortable.”  he sounded regretful, and seemed to truly care about you
“Here,” he handed you your phone, “you dropped this while you were struggling.”
As you checked your phone over, you noticed the screen was glitching out.  It was randomly receiving and exporting data
Your savior/captor was entering something into a desktop set up in the room.  He was typing up something while you scrutinized your phone
Cypher turned back to you, and you caught a glance of a computer screen.  It read: SECURED DATA
“So, Y/N.  What brought you out here?  I know you aren’t a threat, but I’m still going to make sure you don’t reveal anything to someone else.”
“How did you know my name?” Cypher pointed at your glitching phone.  “You hacked my phone?”
“No, I bugged it.  Check the back, I planted it there when I handed it to you.  I wanted to make sure you weren’t spying.”
A small silver disc clung to the back of your phone.  You struggled to pull it off, so Cypher offered to help
“You don’t need to worry about me holding onto any of your secrets, I cleared the data once I was done.”
“Do you always hack people's phones when you meet them?”
“Yes.”  Cypher’s answer was completely serious, not a hint of sarcasm
You asked more questions, getting a better idea of who this mysterious man was.  It was difficult to get clear answers
“Y/N, I trade secrets for a living.  Give me something and I’ll give you something.”
You thought intensely, then it hit you
“I’ll tell you anything about me you want, but on one condition.”
Cypher’s interest piqued.  He leaned in to meet your gaze
“If you take me somewhere that means something to you, you can interrogate me as much as you want.”
His mask stretched in brief surprise, then slyly relaxed as he sat back in his seat.  He clasped his hands together
“You surprised me with that Y/N.  It’s hard to surprise me, so I’ll take you up on your little interrogation.”
Cypher Date
Cypher’s coordinates and description were slightly difficult to follow, but regardless you managed to get there on time
You asked for the second floor room in the tea shop, and were led up some stairs into a room with cushions, drawn shades, and hanging lamps
The entire room was bathed in dim colorful light and smelled faintly of mint
Next to the table was Cypher, his mask undone but eyes covered with glasses
“Ah, Y/N!  Have a seat, the tea was just brought up.” he gestured to a silver tea pot
You placed yourself across from him and watched as he poured a cup of tea, taking care to stretch his arm upwards to let the tea cool as it fell
He passed the cup to you and motioned for you to drink.  You took a small sip from the steaming broth
It was the best thing you had ever tasted.  It was sweet like honey but had a distinct taste of mint.  Moroccan tea was your new favorite drink to say the least
Cypher enjoyed it with you
“So, even though I may have researched you for security I sadly didn’t get to know you that well.  Tell me more about you.”
You told him about what you did for work, and the places you had traveled to.  Cypher probably knew about it but was still invested
He had his fair share of stories too.  A life of information brokering and spying left him with some incredible tales
His ability to make you hang on every word was unlike anything you had heard before.  The man was a natural storyteller, and invested you quickly
By the time you and Cypher had finished most of the tea, it was getting late and you were beginning to learn more about Cypher’s personal life
“Can I trust you with something Y/N?” Cypher removed his glasses to look at you clearly.  His eyes were a deep shade of mahogany
“Sure, I won’t tell anyone if you don’t want me to.”
“My name, my real name, is Amir.  People who are close to me know it, I believe you should know who I am too.”
“Amir,” you said while getting closer, “that’s a beautiful name.  I’m glad you trust me with it.”
Amir and you said your goodbyes outside of the tea shop, using his alias of course
“Cypher, before you leave again I wanted to thank you for saving me.”
“It was no-”
You kissed him while you had the chance.  You did want to thank him after all
Amir was more than receptive to it, and you eventually had to break it off.  Glasses hid his eyes, but not his excitement
You had captured him this time
YORU
You heard the sound of something falling over and metallic components spilling everywhere
Readying a baseball bat, you flung the door open and prepared to swing
Instead of a thief or even an animal, you were face to face with an oni.  Spectral blue energy spilled from the out from the portal it was clawing its way out of
Its bright blue eyes glowed with power, and it stepped through the portal towards you
In your panic you swung and hit him in the ribs
“KUSO!  THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!”
On closer inspection, the ‘oni’ from before was a man in a bike jacket and wearing a mask.  It didn’t change the fact he was in your garage
“Who are you and why are you in my garage?”  You readied another swing
“Yoru, and I just teleported here because I was making an escape.  I didn’t think anyone was home.”
After a few seconds, Yoru tried to get back up but stumbled.  A red stain on his shirt gave away why
“Did you get shot?”
“What of it?  You hit me with a bat so I don’t get why you give a shit.”
You realized that not only was Yoru wounded, he was also unarmed too.  He had nothing aside from the mask he wore
“Stay here, I’m gonna get you some bandages and gauze.”
“I don’t need that.  I’ll manage without you, plus I don’t think you know what you’re doing.  No offense but I’m not gonna take help from-”
Yoru winced as you applied rubbing alcohol to the wound.  He inhaled sharply as you cleaned the bullet hole and applied aid
Once you had patched him up, he sat in the garage across from you
“So what’s your name?”
“Y/N.”
“Do you always beat your patients before helping them out?  Or are you that bad at first aid?”
“You wear that mask because you got a messed up face?” you weren’t about to take insults from Yoru after you saved him
He removed the mask, and to your shock he was quite good looking.  He continued to scowl at you between sarcastic comments
He noticed the motorcycle in the garage, and gestured to it
“Oi Y/N.  That yours?”
“Yes, why are you asking?”
“I ride too,” Yoru adjusted his bandage before standing up, “looks like yours has got a bit damage.”
It was true, the motorcycle needed repairs and it was a chore to look up videos and learn to fix it.  It was good to learn, but time consuming
“I could look it over,” Yoru smirked at you, “but I’m not feeling so grateful right now.”
“Then you can come back later as thanks for me patching that hole in your stomach.  Sound good?”
Yoru was surprised at the offer, and despite his outward personality did retain a sense of politeness from his time as a yakuza
“I could come by again.   If I teleport in, you better not lose your mind again and hit me.  That pissed me off last time.”
“I’ll get it out if you forget to come by.”
“You’ve got a deal, Y/N.”
Yoru Date
Yoru teleported into the garage later than when he said he would.  A blue flash alerted you to his arrival
He went over to your toolbox, taking wrenches out and checking the sizes of bolts.  He also removed his jacket, placing it nearby
“Start it up, I wanna hear the engine.”  Yoru tossed you the keys.  The sputtering of the engine was not a great sign
“It’s the carburetor,” Yoru was absolutely certain in his voice
You and him got to work taking apart the bike and getting into the engine.  It was an older model of motorcycle, but Yoru seemed to know exactly what to take apart
Both of you finally got to the engine, and removed part of the engine block to get to the carburetor
“We need to replace it.  Give me a second, don’t touch anything else.”  Yoru disappeared into a portal
In the minute he was gone, the engine began to ooze black fluid.  You rolled your sleeves up and started to remove the engine block to keep it from leaking more
Yoru stepped back, holding a replacement carburetor
“What are you doing?”
“The engine is leaking oil, I took it out so nothing else gets oil on it.”
He got down to look at engine you removed, his disapproval turning to satisfaction.  He picked up a wrench and handed it to you
“Take the rest of it apart, we’re fixing the whole block.  After that, we’re gonna do everything else.”
After a few hours, the bike engine, tires, and suspension were replaced with new versions.  Yoru even stole some paint and redid the color on the bike
He got on the bike and started it.  A smooth growl came from the new engine
“Hop on, Y/N.  You and I are gonna make sure nothing’s wrong with the bike.” you both grabbed helmets
You got behind Yoru and held yourself close to his back.  Your hands were firmly around his torso
He revved the engine and peeled out of the garage.  Yoru sped towards the highway and weaved between cars
Street lights and vehicles blurred around you as the motorcycle rushed past them all.  Yoru’s driving was precise, but he was pushing the engine to the limit any chance he got
Cold wind forced you to hold Yoru tighter for warmth.  Even through the jacket, he kept you from freezing
Yoru’s driving had attracted some police cars, to which Yoru decided to let chase him.  He began the chase by popping a wheelie and tearing ahead
The cruisers tried to keep pace with him, but couldn’t match his speed.  Yoru flipped them off as he escaped
Suddenly a blockade appeared on your horizon.  Yoru seemed to smile through his helmet.  “Keep holding on.” he commanded
He drifted the bike into the blockade as he activated his mask.  You and him rode the bike into the rift
Your escape led you right into the garage, where Yoru skidded to a halt.  He hopped off the bike and smirked at you
“So, how do you like my driving Y/N?”
“That was insane.  I loved it!”
“You’ll like this too then.”
Yoru grabbed you and kissed you.  It lasted for a second but the moment seemed longer than that
When the initial shock wore off, you turned to a slightly blushing Yoru
“We should go for a joyride more often.” you muttered with what little sense you had

PLEASE WE NEED SOME GOOD AF DEADLOCK SMUT!!! Deadlock w the strap i beg......
Deadlock x fem! Reader
Tumblr media
➛ Warnings: Smut, use of a strap, mirror sex, cursing, Deadlock’s hot robo arm
Tumblr media
— Something about having you under or in front of her, squirming, as she continuously snaps her hips into yours. Leaving you all sensitive with tears threatening to fall from your eyes because of how good she’s making you feel.
— Organic arm gripping your hip while the other rubbing circles on your sensitive clit.
— Sometimes, you both need to release the extra adrenaline from the last mission. Or maybe she needs to relieve some stress (they all do). Hearing your tiny cries and whimpers as you bury your face in the pillow drives her further until you reach your peak.
“Awe, look at you.” You can’t tell if it was the tightening grip on your hips or the way the toy always stretched you out with ease. Your mind always turned to mush, so absent, yet it knows every little move she makes. “I knew you could take me.”
— Iselin isn’t afraid to add two extra fingers while she trusts into you. The day she decided to use her robotic arm instead changed everything.

Deadlock x Reader
Mentions of blood and wounds.
The loud booming sounds of runshoots seemed to be completely silent. The yelling, the shuffling of everyone's feet hitting the ground and taking off after each other. All the struggles and the heart wrenching sounds fell into a buzzing sound so silent yet so loud it disoriented you almost completely.
Freezing cold feelings of dread took over your body. Hands slick with blood, you could get your pounding head to *think*. Your heart shrivels into nothing, almost completely stopping.
A yell of your name shook you violently out of your panicked thoughts.
You froze yet again. You couldn't just leave them here, you are their healer. As you made quick work of your ability on the fallen comrade you took in the look on their face, the paleness of their face to their open gunshot wound.
You see the look in their eye, the one that begged you not to leave them.
Another call of what sounded like Jett this time and from the sounds of it, yet another person was down.
So much chaos, so much *pressure*. It was almost too much for you but you pulled yourself together. Completely healing the person laying on the ground in front of you, who let out a relieved sigh before jumping to their feet and taking in the dire situation. You made quick work of the next person, who somehow was in worse shape than the first.
You sighed deeply once it was over. All of you completely silent on the way home, taking in the feeling of the adrenaline dropping and leaving you all sore. Most of your comrades asked for your help on the ride back to headquarters, trying to ease their torn muscles and tired bodies.
You happily gave out your ability, even as you felt the fatigue catch up to you slowly but surely.
Once you all made it back, you found yourself in the medical bay. Sitting your desk in your personal office, you decided a stiff drink was in order.
As you were pouring out the alcohol into your whisky cup, you heard your door open slowly.
“You choked.”
You couldn’t help but flinch at the disappointed tone of voice.
 “Yeah…”
You didn't want to turn around, you knew you’d see those normally kind soft eyes tinted with an emotion that put a pit in your stomach. That made you feel like despite the win, you still lost.
“You can't do it again. You are their healer, their lifeline. As my underling, you must do better than what I just read in the report.” Her soft voice made you perk up a bit. Glancing back you took in the black haired monk who recruited you. Though she was stern there was a soft look in her eye. One of understanding.
“Yes ma’am. It won't happen again.”
“Good, now make your rounds and pour out the alcohol. Omen needs you in room 3.”
You couldn't help but sigh as you poured out your drink, you didn't even get to take a sip.
You shrugged it off as you did your rounds. The thoughts of your hesitation played over and over in your head for hours before you are released from your shift.
You walked into your room, taking off the white professional jacket as your own smell hit you directly in the face like a brick wall.
Damn you needed a shower.
After you got back, you had no time. People needed tending to and Skye was still on a mission so you are the only other healer besides Sage here to take care of the agents.
It felt nice to be in the hot shower. Feeling as the steaming hot water washed over you, calming your mind and loosening your stressed body. A much needed stress relief from a very bad day.
You opened the curtains, getting ready to step out into the semi wet floor of the shared public shower house. The floor was a lot more slick than you anticipated because the next second, you are on your back in a puddle of shower water that completely soaked your fresh pair of pajamas.
You felt tears gather in your eyes.
What the hell was this? This day just kept getting worse and worse and there was nothing you could do but try and weather the storm. It makes your stress slowly creep into your muscles yet again, tightening your body up like a pretzel.
You slowly got up and made your way back to your room with a slight limp.
A sweet smell of a familiar shampoo hung in your room as you came in. A certain blond perked up as you walked in, her eyes traveled over your half soaked body. She would have smiled if she didn't notice the look on your face. Defeat. Tired. Sad. Stressed. It was written all across your face, the tears you fought off earlier started to make themselves known at the sight of such a comforting and safe space with the person you love.
She immediately stood up with a slightly alarmed face. There are no words as she crossed the room in seconds and had you pulled into her arms quickly. Her smell so soft, so familiar and comforting. It hit you so strongly it brought tears to your eyes.
She was so sweet as you talked to you as you changed. Avoiding asking about your day until you were ready to talk about it on your own. You spoke quietly about your day, talking about how everything went wrong.
“Sit. I’ll do your hair.” She grabbed the semi wet towel and made you sit on the ground between her legs on your shared bed.
“You did great. Despite what you may think, you are a wonderful agent. You deserve a break after today, maybe ask for some time off and we can go on that date we’ve been talking about?” A soft kiss to the top of your head made you smile. You nodded.
She moved from doing your hair to giving you a quick massage of the shoulders and neck. By the time she was done you were completely tired and calmed down.
“Come lay down.” Her soft voice filled my ears.
Once I was laying in the warmth of my bed I felt the day hit me. The stress and the pain, it was all washed away by calm and comforting hands. They traced my skin softly and slowly. Their warmth spread across my skin and warmed me up on the inside. It all made my heart ache with longing.
I glanced up at her beautiful expression, gentle blue eyes waiting for me to settle down and fall asleep. My body seemed to relax her arms, her sweet eyes making my body go slack.
The effect she had on me and my body was unfair. She calmed me down so fast. Made me feel safe. Made me feel at home.
I couldn’t stop the smile from forming and neither could she. I almost stopped breathing when her lips touched mine. Quickly and quietly, a soft little peck to my lips made my entire being react. My toes curled, my breath hitched, my fingers found themselves grabbing onto her slightly. The feelings swirling inside me were calming and chaotic all at once. It was exhilarating.
I wouldn’t stop the giggles as the blush on my checks went to my ears. I tucked my head into her chest and she wrapped her arms tightly around my body once more. Chuckling under her breath, she brought a hand to my ear to give it a gentle squeeze only to laugh at the squeak I released.
We both ended up falling asleep. Dreaming of each other and all was right in the arms of the one I love.
