Like, this man retraumatized his friends, retraumatized HIM, possibly was going to toss Helmuts brain out if he succeeded in his plan, and his entire plan revolved around REPLACING his nephews brain with his own and pretending to be him, which had a profound impact on his grand niece

Even if he doesn't think Truman or Lili like him, I have a feeling Bob would be FURIOUS with that man.

The flowers Bob chooses for each of the people in his mind are so sweet to me, as someone who has been so obsessed with flower language lately.

Tia is a pink carnation (both her plant form and the blooms that lead to her bottle). The most common meaning of them is literally “A mother’s eternal love”. It’s also a thank you flower and a flower for remembrance.

The path to Truman’s bottle is lined with black delilahs; Betrayal. His animate plant version seems to be a snapdragon: A flower relating to deception, but also presumption. A request to not assume things, because you never truly know how someone is feeling.

Helmut’s path is marigolds. They stand for grieving, mourning someone held so close to the heart. I wasn’t able to find any official standing on what his plant really is, but to me, the petals seem to be zinnia petals. (There is a type of zinnia called a cactus zinnia, so I thought it might be a play on words, but maybe that’s a stretch.) Zinnias are known for their endurance. They stand for everlasting affection, remembrance, and a sense of youth, even in old age. It’s a TRIBUTE flower.

These are emotions he refuses to talk about, but they’re so loudly shown through the plants he cares about so much. He cares SO much and I will never shut up about it.

Troy Barnes/Abed Nadir (Community):

Abed was interested right away but not too committed to the idea. Then ofc Troy fell hard and, well, the rest you already know <3

At first Troy reacts to Abed kinda like he doesn't want to be weird and a nerd like him and tells him things like "my friends do things for me, not the other way around" while Abed is trying so hard to connect with him and does stuff like pretend to be an alien because Troy said friends mess with each other (makes more sense in context), but by season three Troy thinks Abed is like magical and amazing and even canonically gets upset that he can't have his babies

Bob Zanotto/Helmut Fullbear (Psychonauts 2):

So in-game they're already married and love eachother very much, but I would say it's pretty obvious that Bob fell in love first from his memory vault and wedding vows you hear in-game. Though we don't get to hear Helmut's vows (sad), I wholeheartedly believe that he fell for Bob later and totally fell harder. Also they know eachother so well that when an imaginary Helmut says he doesn't love Bob, Bob instantly knows that's something he wouldn't say. Before I get too rambling here, to sum up my thoughts: I think they are just the sweetest part of the game and more people should know about them.

To be honest, I did kinda submit viking vines because I wanted redemption from them losing the gay elders tournament. And that I the love the ship of course.
