I'm alive! I promise.

I'm sorry I haven't been active lately. Those closest to me know what's been going on. But as the year is coming to an end, things start to get more chaotic. Physical, as well as mental, health checks were needed.

I want to apologize to those whom I promised stories for. Believe it or not, I have requests from two years ago still in my Inbox. So of course it compounds to the feeling of being an utter failure to deliver anything.

I also want to apologize to those who have been tagging me in their stories and I haven't gotten around to reading them. I will try to catch up in the following days.

Lastly, I want to thank my supportive friends for cheering me on and keeping me grounded. I can't promise my involvement will be more active. But I'll try.

This was the dullest, most lifeless autobiography I have ever read. It doesn't feel like Janeway at all.

Every year I have this idea that I'm going to plan this out and write something profound. But it really just comes down to a few things, doesn't it?

❤️ There is no timeline (or requirement!) for coming out. Some people shout it from the rooftops immediately and some people keep it as their business forever. Both are valid and correct.

Ask yourself: Do I want to? Do I feel safe to do so? Do I have a plan if it all goes sideways?

🧡 Perhaps the most important point: nobody, and I mean NOBODY, gets to make that decision for you. That choice is yours and yours alone. Family, friends, partners, coworkers, teachers should never pressure you to come out.

💛 There is no timeline for “figuring it out”. Some folks just know and others figure it out later. Neither one is wrong. There’s zero shame in learning your sexuality in your 30s, 50s, hell even your 80s. The only “correct” time is when you say so.

💚 That being said… it can change! And that’s perfectly fine. No one would blink an eye because one day you declare you now like brownies instead of chocolate chip cookies. Or both. You learn more about yourself, you grow, you make more informed decisions. It’s all a process.

💙 Labels not required. Am I Gay/Lesbian? Bi? Queer? Aro? Whatever you decide, and are comfortable with, is a-ok. Even if that means no label at all. First and foremost you’re you. Not your preferences.

💜 A Special Lil note for the allies and supporters and others: This goes for anyone, but particularly those who didn’t figure things out (or feel like they could be open about it) until later. I say this as something of a late bloomer myself. Crying over Heartstopper? Suddenly adding all kinda rainbow merch to their house/vehicle/wardrobe? Going to Pride events? Making or sharing more pointed social media posts?

Yeah, they figured out they’re [insert label here]. Great, good for them but you’re sooooo over it. They’re X years old, why do all this now??? Like chill already.

Nope. You chill. Some of us are legit getting to experience this side of ourselves for the first time ever. And sometimes that is decades in the making. We’re unpacking a lot. So please hold your shaming and judgement. If it’s not hurting you or anyone else, for the love of everything just let them have this.

The aim of this tag game was to take your favorite movie, character, animal, drink, song, season, book, color and hobby and create a mood board.

I apologize for the super long delay. Was there a common tag everyone used? I was on a grief retreat mountain wondering about the meaning of life and so missed everyone's entries and I'd love to catch up.

Movie: Enter the Phoenix (2004) this movie is full of my favorite tropes. Secret & mistaken identity, power dynamics, competence kink, enemies to lovers friends, swords, loyalty. It also has a well written and portrayed out and proud queer lead. It didn't age super well, but it makes me nostalgic of the Hong Kong that once was, especially from a queer perspective, and remains my favorite comfort comedy.

Character: Methos from Highlander the Series. Wilhelm is my precious and my baby and I love him, but Methos has had an almost thirty year head start, okay? Maybe after season 3 and with some time to digest things will change, but for now it's still Methos all the way.

Animal: Elephant. I also like cats and guinea pigs but elephants always made me feel safe (as a kid elephants where about as real to me as dinosaurs)

Drink: Assam tea. Never come near me with Darjeeling. In a pinch a strong espresso macchiato will do. Bonus points if there's some vanilla in there as well. (Ostfriesen Sonntagstee ftw, even if it's kinda tricky to get here)

Song: Sogno di Volare by Christopher Tin. I've had musical anhedonia since I was eleven so I don't really listen to music, but hearing this always brings be joy because it means I have hours of playing Civ ahead of me. Also the lyrics are cool.

Season: Summer all the way. You can be outside, the days are long and I've always associated that time with freedom and carefreeness.

Book: 琅琊榜 by 海晏. I adore this book. All the tropes from above (except not explicitly queer) and with bonus historical low fantasy elements and lots of elaborate politics. Also all the idioms and very well written. Better known by the title of the excellent tv series it inspired and which I never have the time to rewatch called Nirvana in Fire. (won because it's great and because the three defining book (series) of my youth turned out to be written by authors of varying degrees of horridness)

Color: light turquoise green. Is that what it's called? Anyway that color.

Hobbies: writing about power dynamics Wilmon fic

Hello, my lovelies!

After an extended absence (has it really been two years?) I have returned. There's certainly a lot to share with y'all. But that will happen soon enough.

I'm hoping to share some new stories with you. I have some new drabbles and one longer one I'm not ready to post yet.

In the meantime, I'd love feedback on what I do post. Hopefully, I haven't lost my touch after 2 years of not writing (like I said, a lot has happened.)

If you aren't familiar with my writing, I write mostly wincest. I write sensual passionate stuff, like "Miss Me", and some a little rougher, like "Ride".

Also, much angst is coming. And cliffhangers. What can I say, I like drama...:)

I’ve been very busy the last couple of days and wasn’t able to completely stay up to date on the whole drama. So I’ve not seen the most recent rumors yet.

Overall though, I think it’s probably a good thing that members are away at the moment. This is probably going to have blown over by the time they return.

This isn’t the first time a label is involved in drama. They will mostly overcome this. I did see some people say that Min Hee-Jin has the support of SK’ns because they identify with her more than they do with Hybe. It’s actually a good conversation to have I think, unfairness in workspaces is a real problem. It’s just not fair to have BTS (or any group) involved, since they aren’t the ones who are in charge. I hope people are able to identify the difference beter Hybe management and BTS as a group. They are two different things.

What will happen in the most drastic scenario is that Bang Pd will take the fall (he won’t, they’ll make sure) and he will be replaced by someone else and Hybe will make a statement about taking a different route from now on. I think it’s more likely that Min Hee-Jin will draw the short end of the stick though.

I think BTS will be fine. They are not to blame for any of this, they might take a bit if a hit because of retaliating fandoms, but in the long run I don’t think much will come of it.
