Finola or Angelique Tulip, does anyone know which this is? Maybe I’ve got the wrong names altogether. I couldn’t find a tulip image like this in a web search. It was so crowded Mother’s day when I went 2 the festival sometimes I didn’t get close enough to find out the varieties name.

White tulips can symbolize different things depending on the circumstances. Traditionally it meant I’m sorry or a condolence message. During Victorian times in the book “The Language of Flowers” it meant pure love & passion. In modern times white is a symbol of purity & tulips a symbol of new life or pure love. White is associated with heaven & peace so good choice for religious ceremonies.

I’m not sure if this tulip meaning is correct or complete since it isn’t all white. There could be another meaning because this 1 has some pink margins & artistic green feathering or flames on the back of the outer petals. This is an annual 10 day festival which kicks off our tourist season.
