I'm rewatching season 1 of "Knightfall"...

And I still believe that these two had a thing going on much more interesting and tragic than Queen Joan and Landry.

I mean, just look at how they're looking at each other here. Particurarly, at William's eyes.

It's obvious that they loved each other. In a dark and very twisted way indeed. But they did love each other.

My request would be, maybe the reader is a smart teacher for Isabella and at first he doesn’t like them, but then he starts having feelings bc both are very intelligent. (maybe getting some Yandere tendencies ;))

Masterlist

Okay first of all how dare you being close to Isabella ? How dare you make her smile or excited ? It should be his job not yours. 

I’m not lying, at first De Nogaret hated you, I mean how could he ? You succeed while he failed : getting close to Isabella (I mean next time William don’t spy a woman when she makes love and pretend it was her boyfriend maybe she would love you). 

So you barely interact together which was a shame since you were attracted to him, I mean the man is gorgeous, smart, AND he has some respect when it came to women which during this period should be cherish. 

Anyway 

You were recruited by the king as Isabella’s English teacher, since her marriage with the Prince of England was now official, King Phillip wanted everything to be good especially when it came to his daughter behavior. 

So at first you were supposed to teach her English, english’s etiquette. But then since you were very smart for a woman (I hated myself for writing this but you know educate girl wasn’t common), you then started to teach her history, some notion of science, literature, politic. 

It took you a long time before getting close to Isabella, because obviously she wasn’t fond of an English woman coming to « raise her » to become a submissive woman. But much to her surprise it’s not what you did, instead of telling her how much she should be happy to marry her futur husband you apologize because you know how the prince was in really life. You also told her you weren’t here to transform her into a submissive little girl, you wanted her to be the greatest princess of the whole country, you wanted her to become strong not a puppet for her husband. 

She obviously like it. 

So you two grown quite fond of each other, and of course De Nogaret who lose Isabella’s affectation after what he did, was angry. He tried to convince the King that it didn’t make sense for a English girl to teach Isabella since France got plenty of capable teacher which the king brush it without explanation. 

Not gonna lie at first you weren’t excited to move from France, but then you somehow take pity of Isabella especially since you know about the prince of England behavior and how the English’s court could be sometimes. You know it would be a pain for her, it would take everything to not just run away, if you were at her shoes you wouldn’t do it. 

So you decided to give her every weapons to become strong. 

Obviously you and De Nogaret should work together, especially because you wanted to teach her basic knowledge about law. But he refused claiming that it wasn’t something you could learn easily, that he doesn’t make sense to teach her basic since English’s law was the opposite. So you argued that even though it wasn’t the same she could at least help her future husband during meeting to explain him how France is working. 

He just scoff and look at you right into the eyes, telling you to do your job and just moved. 

Despite acting like an ass, you couldn’t help but just look at his face especially his plumpy lips wondering how they would feel yours or on your teeth as you would bite it gently. 

You know the man was troubled, at some point Isabella confessed what happened between those two and you confront him about it. 

Never ever he expected a woman to actually have the balls to just press him against a wall to put some sense into him. 

The fact that you were scolding him was a huge turn on for him, he didn’t want to admit him but he found you very attractive and the fact that you were so smart and yet so curious about everything really pleased him. And now you acted dominant on him ? After that he daydreamed about you being on top of him, or riding him on his chair maybe if he was good he would allow you to tell him what to do. 

At some point, some sexual’s attraction was everywhere when you two met. Both of you couldn’t care less when the Prince was teasing you or De Nogaret, you always something to tell me like « Maybe, are you jealous though ? ». No one expect you to be sassy but you were (Isabella loved you even more but it’s not the point here) 

You decided to flirt with him, since he didn’t seem to make a move even though he was clearly into you (did he think you never noticed when he was eyes fucking you during your lesson with Isabella ? You never said anything because you did the same to him) 

You teased him at first, like when you saw him on your walk to take a bath you tease him like « I’m going to take a bath William you’re free to come have a watch if you want or come », it should bother him to be teased about his voyeurism’s behavior but he doesn’t in fact he turned him on. 

What you never known is never waits for you to give him the go-ahed to start watching you, he started the moment he felt that it was more than a simple crush. At first it was just getting an eye on you everytime like, when you were outside he’ll send someone to watch you, when you were teaching Isabella he looked at the room and listened to be sure everything was fine. Then, he started to watch you during your sleep or when you were taking a bath. He soon became obsessed, he needed your attention no he craves for it. 

That’s how things turn well weird. At first when you two decided to see each other, you never noticed how possessive he was around you I mean when he was jealous you tease him but then kiss him finding his behavior quite charming. What you didn’t know that everytime someone give you a compliment or even dare flirting with you, they’ll be found dead on newt day and when he couldn’t kill them he would find a way to put them into a jail. You never seemed to notice, maybe you were blind because he treated you so well, always know what to say in the good time. 

Don’t blind yourself he lies all the time, he manipulates everyone including his own king so of course he won’t bother with you. If somehow you noticed him acting strange, or get to hear something you shouldn’t he will always find a way to make you believe that you misunderstood this or he was acting so he could catch them. 

Definetly use sex at his advantage, during day like that he would put extra effort in the foreplay he would worship you more than usual, please more than usual everything so you would never expect him to lie to you. 

He has develop a thing when you two are actually arguing and he felt that you might leave or anything he would put both of his hand on your cheeks and would speak softly, stroking your cheeks telling you that he shouldn’t raise his voice against you and would « force » (convince) you that you were wrong and that you were eager to apologize 

Although he would never shut you away when you were getting on his never, he would find a way to put you in your bedroom and would scold you like a dad would to his children and since he is very good at it you would believe that you were in fault and spend you whole day crying until he would finally come to see you and you just run into his arm to apologize. 

That’s how strong he is, even though you were a strong and independant woman he was just stronger than you, he got you around his pinkie but since he was deeply in love with you he would do nothing that might hurt you… physically. He won’t hesitate to manipule you so you’ll always be with him. No matter what.

I watched the season 1 finale of Knightfall the other week and it was really good!

There was a battle in the woods! 

Queen Joan went and took the grail to them in the woods and wanted to save Landry and The Templars from her husband The King! 

She sadly died it seems :( after giving birth to their child. I liked her too. She drank from the Holy Grail to save her but it only saved the baby and not her. 

They put her with the fallen soldiers in the forest, buried in a cross shape. Awww.

Then some other templar at the end found a scroll of names in the grail, like a holy lineage and I think it was Landry who was last on the list D:

Season one got a bit better as it went on. It still didn’t reach the heights of Vikings though.

William De Nogaret was my favourite the whole series! He’s a great villain and quite sexy <3 He’s like Tony Almeida <3

I can’t wait to see season two <3

I can’t believe they got Mark Hamill to be in season 2! that should be interesting.
