This takes place after Hop-frogs win the Poe Cup - timeline not specified.
Valerye was sure she and the Ophelia Hall would win this year. So sure in fact, she offhandedly made a bet with her boyfriend Xavier. It was quite simple - if he won, she would be his to order around for the rest of the day. But this wouldn't happen of course, because she's not going to lose... Right? The thing is, she didn't expect the motivation it gave Xavier to prove her wrong. And, oh boy, he did way more to her.
Turns out, her submissive partner was not-so-submissive that night.

Valerye was standing in the middle of her dorm room in a gobsmacked silence. She could feel the heat rising to her cheeks, her heart racing, as the realisation of the consequences of the bet she made with Xavier before the Poe Cup were gradually dawning on her. And it seemed Xavier was immensely enjoying her despair.
“You want me to do what?” She breathed, shivers trickling down her spine.
He was still in the jester costume, hat in hand, leaning against the wall with a self-satisfied smirk on his painted face.
“I won. On your terms, may I remind you.” He took a few steps towards her and threw the clown hat onto the bed, freeing his hands. When he looked back at her, there was something in his eyes that made her breath shaky. Something that made her feel the heat creep around her back and neck, nesting between her legs. However, she straightened and looked him back in the eye, challenging him. She was the dominant one. No way in hell she would give in that easily.
“So?”
He stopped right before her, making her strain her neck to keep looking at him. She barely reached his shoulders. He lowered himself to her level, his breath fanning her neck, making her stifle a sigh of pleasure. His long fingers ghosted her shoulder, leaving goosebumps where they touched her hot skin. A few loose hairs escaped from his bun and tickled the side of her face.
Just a few nights ago, she was pulling at them, exposing his long neck for her to bite while she was riding him on the floor of his art studio. He was falling apart underneath her, needy and whiny, desperately bucking his hips and begging to finally let him cum. She could see the bitemarks she left on his neck despite the layer of white paint covering it.
And yet, somehow she knew Xavier Thorpe wasn’t about to plead to torture him like that right now.
“So you better get out of those clothes, kitten. Surely, you don’t want to break the promise, do you?” She felt his teeth graze her earlobe and she moaned quietly before she could stop herself. She knew he had his signature smirk plastered on his face again, clearly proud of his effect on her. She huffed, exasperated by his sudden boldness. She didn’t like taking orders, she never had to take orders like this from him, but her pride didn’t let her back down. She most certainly would not break a promise.
He went to sit down in a chair beside a full-length mirror, watching her undress. His smile didn’t falter under her annoyed gaze - on the contrary. A wide grin spread across his face, the clown paint making him look wicked.
He motioned for her to come closer. Valerye frowned - he was still in his costume. He patted his thigh before she could open her mouth to ask what the hell he was playing at. She pursed her lips, feeling more embarrassed by the second, but she sat down on his long legs, completely naked. He purred contentedly, his hands caressing her arms and chest, placing wet, open mouthed kisses along the line of her jawline, neck and underneath her ears, the way he knew would make her lean into him for more. And this is exactly what he needed.
He swiftly turned her body around, pushing her back flush against his chest and sunk his teeth into the side of her neck, making her yelp in surprise. Before she registered what was going on, she had either leg hooked over his knees and he spread them wide, locking her in place.
There she was, fully nude and completely exposed on her boyfriend’s lap, unable to close her legs, looking at herself in the full-length mirror in front of them. She felt herself go red in the face, earning another smirk from Xavier.
“Don’t tell me you’re shy now.” He feigned worry, teasing her skin with the tips of his fingers, grazing over her most sensitive areas. “I want to see you whole.”
She moaned softly at his words, and then louder whimpers formed in her throat when she felt his mouth on a particular sweet spot at the base of her shoulder. And with that, his hands travelled down her body, working their magic on her hardened nipples, one going even further to rub her clit. She stiffened against him with her mouth agape, moaning breathlessly as he picked up the pace.
“God, you’re so fucking wet”, he groaned into her neck, nipping at her in all the right places.
Soon, she was wailing desperately under his touch, back arched into him, hyperventilating. His skilled fingers worked mercilessly on her sensitive, now swollen clit. She couldn’t think of anything, her mind going blank in and out again, desperately wanting to reach the sweet release. She inched towards it, slowly, moving against his palm when suddenly, she was past the point of no return. And Xavier felt it too, the way her body went rigid, when she got incredibly hot to the touch and almost stopped breathing. His breath got caught in his throat too, his eyes going wide, looking at Valerye’s reaction in the mirror in front, wishing to remember every single detail about this image. He could feel his dick straining against the material of the costume.
She came undone, moaning throatily, and he felt his hand getting soaked in hot fluid. His brain stopped working for a second, processing what had just happened. He blinked, looking down to find a small clear puddle at his feet. Valerye sensed his body tensed behind her, heard him inhaling through his teeth.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry, I–”
She met his eyes in the mirror - his pupils blown out, eyes wide and unblinking. He looked insane with this clown like face paint for a moment. And suddenly, he resumed, rubbing her with much more vigour, breathing quickly against her ear.
“Do it again,” he growled, growing even harder with every moment. He wanted to see it again, to feel how much she couldn’t control herself from the pleasure he was giving her. However, she kept shifting back and forth, squealing and whimpering, trying to avoid his fingers. It was too much for her to endure, the hot jolts coursing through her body almost painful, she was so overstimulated.
He grasped her face and forced her head hard towards him.
“Again!” He snarled, his eyes lustful and demanding, looking even more deranged with the creepy, smudged jester makeup on. Something caught his eye right next to her head and a wide, sinister looking grin slowly spread on his face.
“...or I will make you.”
Valerye’s breath hitched in her throat when she realised what he meant. She told him about her toys on several occasions but never actually used one with him - and right now he was looking at one. A very particular one - the one she intended to use on him tonight, if he lost the race - as he was supposed to. The one charging in plain sight on her bedside table. The one capable of the most intense torture, the one able to make her, force her to cum in mere seconds on one of the lowest levels. And by the looks of it, he knew what it could do as well. His knowing smile, accentuated by the red lines of his makeup, told her he must’ve googled "the magic wand" - surely more than once. This fucker. Her body started to tremble in anxious anticipation. Excitement mixed with fear and desire made her skin break out in goosebumps. She knew for sure she wouldn't be able to stand the intensity of it all.
“Xavier”, her voice small and shaky, embarrassment written all over her red cheeks. She squeaked pitifully when his fingers brushed her swollen clit, as he hitched his knees higher, making it impossible for her to stand up on her own now. “I can’t take this, it’s too much–”
“Too much already? After just one orgasm? Ooh no,” he cooed mockingly, “my poor, poor vixen. Too bad you have no say in this tonight.” He kept toying with her, sliding her sensitive nub between his slick, skillful fingers, deaf to her pitiful pleading. Without a warning, he grabbed her by her throat with his free hand - forcefully enough to drive the point across. “And now. Do. It. Again.”
Valerye’s eyes went wide with shock as she inhaled sharply through gritted teeth. His large palm clasped around her neck, covering it entirely, obstructed the airflow enough to make her slightly dizzy. She hated not being in control. She was always the one who dictated the rules, who made Xavier crumble under her touch, not the other way around. But now, her mind gradually escaped her once again, more and more with each time he licked and kissed her neck in just the right places and each time his fingers repeatedly stroked her oh so overly sensitive clit, she couldn’t fight it anymore. She knew she was at his mercy, completely defenceless against him. She absolutely loved and hated every second of it. And the new, ungodly sounds forming in her constricted throat were only sealing her fate further.
Xavier’s eyes bore into her in the mirror, savoring every inch of the reflection it provided. Her naked body, fully on display for him. There she was, dripping wet because of him, legs spread wide just for him. The way she writhed on top of his thighs, almost crying from overstimulation, made him want to push her down into the floor and rail her swollen pussy raw. He relished in the friction her bucking hips provided through his costume and the sweet, desperate sounds escaping her lips, mixed with oh god, too much, and I can’t on repeat. Even now, Valerye made his head clouded with lust.
Xavier bit her neck again to steady his mind. No, not now. He wanted to pay her back for all those times she made him cry and beg for relief. He wanted to drive her to the point of madness, the same way she did when she kept ruining his orgasms over and over again. He wanted to make her babble incoherently, his name the only thing etched in her barely conscious mind, exactly like she did it with him, time and time again. And most importantly, he wanted her to squirt on him, again and again, and again. But he had to make sure.
“Do you want to use the safeword?”
Even now, a burning flame of pride rose in Valerye’s heaving chest. He never used it and she didn’t want to either. He slowed his movements, giving her enough time to glare at him in the mirror. He had this stupid smirk on his clown-painted face that always made her go weak in the knees. She pursed her lips into a thin line, not wanting to admit she wanted more of this torture, not wanting to fuel his now overly inflated ego. He chuckled, seeing her prideful stare. Not for long.
“Hm?” He inquired. Without breaking eye contact, he slowly brought his slick covered fingers towards his mouth and licked them clean, humming with pleasure. He knew how much she loved his tongue on her. “You always taste so good, Val.”
This was enough for her. She whimpered, a pained expression on her face and pleaded quietly.
“What was that? Didn’t catch that.”
“Are you really going to make me beg?” You fucking dick, Valerye thought.
“Oh, absolutely.” Xavier smiled widely, clearly enjoying the power he held over her.
She took a deep breath.
“Xavi, please…”
“Yes?” He reached towards the nightstand, raising his eyebrows to indicate he was expecting more of her. Valerye swallowed hard, eyeing the toy in his hand.
“...I want more.”
“Uh-huh.”
“Please.”
“Uh-hm..?”
This absolute fucking dick. He obviously tried very hard not to grin and she was seconds away from losing her mind.
“Xavier, please, I want you, make me cum for you, please. I’m begging you.”
His fingers dug in the flesh of her thighs at those words. He steadied himself, breathing slowly and doing everything in his power not to push his throbbing cock inside her this second.
“I’d love to, Valerye.” He groaned.
She felt the tip of the toy touch her exposed clit. Before she could brace herself for what’s to come, he turned it on. And she lost her mind to the absolute forceful pleasure the vibrator provided. A strangled scream came out of her throat as she kicked, writhed and cried, trying to get away from his hands and this overwhelming pleasure. He wasn’t having it.
The mind numbing vibrations stopped for a second. She felt herself slip from Xavier’s thighs onto the chair, just to have her legs hitched up and pinned at both sides of her head, as he latched his mouth onto her incredibly soft and swollen pussy. But this sweet break didn’t last very long either. Even stronger vibrations were now biting at her clit, making her wail like if she was possessed. She felt as if she was on fire and was about to burst into actual flames, when she felt the orgasm. A second later it hit her like a ton of bricks, making her spasm and writhe and squirt. She heard a stifled hoarse moaning that wasn’t her own from between her legs. And when she opened her eyes, Xavier was hunched over her, panting like a feral dog, fighting with the pants of the costume. His face was soaked wet because of her, face paint running down his neck and dripping at his front. He didn’t seem to notice, too blinded by the wild lust he felt right now. He wanted Val to wet his face again but he couldn’t fight himself anymore. He needed to be inside her. Right. Now.
She felt him push his hard cock forcefully inside her, stretching her wonderfully. She was so wet she didn’t need any time adjusting - and thankfully so, because Xavier just simply lost control.
Her mind went haywire. The immense pleasure occupied every single part of her body, making her babble incoherently, slurring a mix of 'yes', 'fuck', 'god' and 'Xavier' was driving him closer and closer to his own release. He couldn’t think straight, his hips pounding her in feverish, animalistic almost, frenzy, hitting all the sweet spots that made her see sparks before her eyes. And then, she came again, screaming his name, scratching his arms, chest and back, pulling him into his own release right after her own.
Xavier Thorpe savoured every part of the image that was present before his eyes. Valerye, spread on the bedsheets, entangled with him in a blissful embrace, was slowly slipping into uncosciousness, feebly reciprocating his kisses. It was truly the most beautiful payback he could ever wish for.

One second she had been running, flag in hand and determined to win, and the next she had turned, and there he sat on the ground, foot hurting, his team's flag laying about a foot away from him. He had fallen, and on the inside, she was laughing evilly at it. Karma was apparently real.
If she had not been irritated with him and had ignored him for the past three days, y/n would have without doubt gone to help him, but as of now, it was only amusing to see him in some kind of pain. She didn't want him to hurt that badly—she didn't want him to hurt the way he used to when his father wasn't around, like when they were younger—but having him have an ankle that hurt and made winning the Poe Cup possible was something she enjoyed.
In the mere time of two weeks, he had just suddenly snapped at her five times, all because she was asking how he was doing. She had replayed the past month in her head to try and find the reason behind his behaviour, but nothing made sense. There had not been one instance where she had said or done something that would cause him to react in such a way.
The catch, however, was that just the day after his outbursts at her, he would simply act as if he hadn't just snapped at her. In the beginning, she told herself that it was just Xavier having a bad day and shrugged it off. But when it happened a third time—and then a fourth time—that's when she slowly became more and more irritated with the way he was acting.
The fifth time was when she snapped back, which was three days ago. Since then, y/n have refused to talk, look, or even be in the same room as him, until now.
She looked down at the flag in her hand, debating what to do as she cast her eyes towards the way to the boats. Running back to the others would have been easy; they would win without any problem. Leaving Xavier there with a hurt ankle and the sirens already out would mean a secure win.
But she wanted to help. Even though she had cut herself off from him for the time being, she knew he was still her friend.
Beams of the sun tore their way through the spaces between the leaves, successfully shining into her eyes as she looked towards where the canot was. Despite it being autumn, it was still pretty warm and beautiful outside—not yet the cold, rainy, and depressing kind.
When she heard the hisses of pain and flurry of curses coming from his mouth, her eyes fell closed with an exasperated sigh. Her hands landed on her hips as she turned to him, her team's flag still in her hand.
For a moment, she just stared at him, taking in his looks. The clown makeup obscured his features, making it hard to read his face as the mind became fooled by the painted-on, wide smile. If she had to express her thoughts on Xaviers' team's costumes, she would say they were moderately bad, but they looked okay—not great, but okay.
"Stop complaining." y/n sighed as she begrudgingly kneeled down by his foot, placing her team's flag next to her, which earned her a questioning look from Xavier.
He winced when she gently touched the swollen part of his ankle. He knew she was not too fond of him as of now; his constant apologising for how he had been acting told him that much. The tired look in her eyes as he tried to apologise all those times told him just how over it she was.
"What are you doing?" He finally asked, watching as her movements halted for a second before she continued her inspection of his hurt and probably sprained ankle.
"Checking your ankle." That was the simple answer he received from the other party as she tried to estimate the severity of his injury. It did not seem to be that bad as he could apparently move his foot, but it seemed to hurt, judging by the way his face contorted whenever she tried to move his foot a little.
"Why? Ow, hey!" Xavier exclaimed loudly at the pain from his ankle when y/n were being all but gentle.
"If you stop squirming like a baby, it won't hurt that much." If she looked up, he was sure she would glare a hole into his skull.
"That much." Xavier poked, but when y/ns eyes rose from his ankle up to meet his with a glare, he held up his hands. "Okay, I'm quiet."
There was a pang of guilt hitting him; of course, it had hit him many times during the past two weeks, but it seemed to hurt more now when she refused to even look at him for a longer period. He knew he had messed up badly.
y/n had always had a mellow personality; most of the others at school considered her to be more mature. She was not short-tempered and gave in to her anger in the same way others would, refusing to ever speak immaturely about others—that is, calling them names or talking about people behind their backs. She was just that genial, preferring smiles over frowns.
But now, now she was glaring, speaking with a sort of harshness in her tone. She ignored his every attempt at saying sorry, simply rolling her eyes and brushing past him as if he were not right there. She sat beside her other friends in class. She did everything she was against doing, but yet, when she did speak to him, she was still mature enough to not belittle him as a person and keep herself from yelling, which she had done just an hour before the Poe Cup started.
"I've said sorry about a hundred times since yesterday!" Xavier had called after her while she walked off to change into her costume; he had not yet done so himself either.
"I don't want an apology." She spoke firmly but calmly. He had said sorry so many times since yesterday that she could no longer keep count on her hands.
It was the way he would snap at her for just asking how he was, and then after, it was as if nothing had happened. The day after, he would simply act normal with her. But there was something that had changed in his demeanor, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.
"Then what?" Xavier asked, finally being close enough to grab a hold of her wrist and pull her to a halt. y/n turned, and immediately her gaze was on his hand holding her wrist, but only for about ten seconds before she shook his hand off her.
"All I want is an explanation for why you've fucking lost it up five times in the last two weeks when all I've done is ask how you're doing." As always, her voice was stern, but she did not yell. "Can you give me a reason?"
There was silence as she waited for an answer, looking up at him, waiting for just a reason. It did not have to be a big reason—Xavier could have easily lied and said it was about his dad—just a simple answer would do her just fine. An apology did not explain anything at all, but she knew, y/n knew—there was a bigger reason for his outbursts.
When all she got was Xavier opening his mouth as if he were about to say something, then closing it quickly and just sighing, running a hand through his hair, she was done. y/n shook her head at him, backing off.
"See, you can even give me a simple reason. Don't talk to me unless you're going to tell me why." With that, she left, walking over to the girls in her team with a dull look on her face. She was done being nice.
"y/n." Xavier caused her to stop. "I am sorry, you do know that, right?"
There was a silence that lasted just a few seconds longer than he liked. His eyes stayed on her the whole time, intently gazing at her.
"It's all you've been saying since Monday." y/n shrugged her shoulders and sat back, not looking at him.
"Why isn't that just enough then?" Even from where he sat, he could see her roll her eyes and was almost certain she was going to sigh in exasperation once more at him.
"Because I don't know if you're going to snap at me again even though you've apologized, and it's tiring." y/n turned and faced him, staring into his eyes. "And I know there's something wrong."
"Nothing's wrong, like I've said." Xavier sat with his hands outstretched and shoulders shrugged, but the answer on made y/n stand up with an irritated expression.
"This is what I mean when I say that you can't give me a single reason, and this is why I don't want to talk until you're actually going to tell me." She tiredly motioned towards him, holding her team's flag in one hand, and unbeknownst to Xavier, she had also picked up his flag.
"I can't tell you."
"You're unbelievable." She shook her head with a slightly disgusted face as Xavier looked off to the side.
Finally, being tired of staying there, she wanted to win but also have some kind of competition as the sirens were out, so she held out her hand for him to take. When he took notice of her holding out her hand for him to take, he blinked.
"What?"
"Do you want to get to the canoe or not? I can just leave you here and throw away the flag." y/n stated simply, with her arm still outstretched, and the annoyance in her tone made him realise not to question her. Without hesitation, he took a hold of his hand and helped as much as he could with getting up, and soon they were on their way back to the canots.
The only thing was that even if Xavier and his team got back into the canoe like y/ns team, for the first halfway across the lake, both teams were equal, but Wednesday's plan had assured the Black Cats that winning spot.
It was just more fun to see the boys' disappointment up close.
//
The cold night air bit on her skin just comfortably enough; she was no longer crammed in a room with all the girls on her team and some others. Wednesday had given Enid quite the murderous look once she realised her roommate had invited them all over there. The air in their dorm had grown thin, and the time was slowly working its way towards curfew, so y/n had left with a simple goodbye and a smile at her teammates and friends.
It was not often that she risked being out a bit before curfew, but the few times she had done so often ended with Mrs. Thornhill simply telling her to be inside within the next fifteen minutes or she would get more work. It was relaxing to walk around the quiet and empty quad, which was usually bustling with activity.
She looked up at the stars, seeing some of her favourite constellations. Lactera was visible; she could barely make it out, but once she saw it, it was there. Her thoughts began to wander as her eyes scanned the night sky and the billions of stars that existed many lightyears away.
There were not many times where her nights were this quiet; usually they were filled with laughter and just having a fun time—a fun time with Xavier. The thought of him dampened her once upbeat mood. Last she saw of him, he had stared as she and her teammates cheered loudly for winning, then got help from Ajax to walk off. She had been staring into his eyes for just a second, and the warmth she felt around him spread through her, but it also hurt. In no way, shape, or form could she ever understand what his problem was with her all of a sudden.
She could not comprehend what she might have done for him to blow up at her five times. Was she not as close to him as she thought herself to be? No, from what she knew, he often referred to her and Ajax as his closest friends. He had done so that one time when she met his dad; not that he seemed to pay any attention to or have any sort of care for his son's friends (or his son, for that matter).
The sounds of what she thought to be Mrs. Thornhill going out there to, as usual, tell her she had fifteen minutes before she needed to be in her dorm did not make her budge. y/n just continued standing there, watching the burning balls of fire and gas that had their own system of planets circling them. But her peace and the thought that it was Mrs. Thornhill were quickly destroyed.
"Well, if it isn't the winner." Xavier called as he walked into the quad from his shed, something he usually never does alone these days. His tone was a little teasing as he walked out into the quad, standing just a few feet away from y/n who had lowered her gaze from the stars.
"What the hell are you doing here?" She only cast a glance at him, speaking with an annoyed tone.
"I just got back; I have to spend my time all alone since you refuse to even look at me." As he said so, his eyes tried to find hers, but she was stubborn and would not let him meet her gaze. Xaviee sighed, tilting his head at her, and waited for an answer.
"I've told you two times today, I only want to talk if you're going to tell me what's going on." For a quick second, she met his eyes. "And you can just hang out with Ajax, Kent, or anyone."
"You're not even going to ask how I am?" y/n understood that that question was meant to tell her how out of character this was for her. If he or anyone around her, got hurt or didn't feel good, she would always check in on them. But, as much as she wanted to, she hadn't asked him how his foot was doing.
"Okay, how's your foot?" It was not asked with that much care; it was a question she only asked because he subtly pointed out how out of character she was acting.
"It's better." Xavier responded, thinking they were getting somewhere, but that quickly proved wrong.
"Hm," y/n hummed before clicking her tongue and turning on her heel. "That's sad. I thought it would last longer."
Xavier groaned tiredly, almost in despair, at her remark, letting his head fall back to see the sky before quickly running his hand through his hair and catching up to her. Even though he had the advantage of having longer legs, it always seemed as if y/n were running once she simply started walking, with the brunette almost jogging after her.
She had just been about to open the doors to the inside and then go towards the stairs to get to her dorm when she was stopped again, this time by Xavier grabbing her shoulder. She let out a breath of air, clearly bothered by his attempts to try and talk. Taking a glance at the hand resting on her shoulder, Xavier took that as a sign to slowly let her go.
"How long are you going to keep this up?" Xavier asked, exhaustion clear in his voice when he spoke; in return, he earned a pair of raised brows while she finally looked at him without averting her eyes.
"As long as I feel like it and as long as you won't tell me what's wrong." y/n made her point clear, but Xavier shook his head at her for looking around before rubbing his forehead.
"This is childish." He mumbled, which perked y/n's ears. All she did was stare at him, her brows creating a crease between them as she looked up at him and spotted how slowly he realised what he had just said.
When he realised exactly what he said, Xavier looked at the girl, who was speechless. He could see how she was trying to form words but failing every time. Her mouth would move just a little and then she would close it before trying once more, only for her to close her mouth in frustration. She was trying her hardest not to snap at him.
"I'm childish?" y/n finally asked, staring daggers into his soul.
"I didn't mean it like that, it's just your acting—"
"I'm acting childish." He looked away when she said so, but y/n followed his gaze to catch his eyes. "You can just say that if that's what you feel."
"I didn't mean it like that at all."
"But you did. You're calling me childish—the one who's been calm and handled your fucking outbursts like nothing up until three days ago. Three days ago, Xavier, I behaved as any rational person would when yelled at for no apparent reason. So who's really the childish one between the two of us?"
Neither of them said anything. She was waiting for him to say something—an insult or a reason—it would not matter; she just waited for him to say something. Her eyes never left him, standing her ground and finally, for once, acting like she should, not holding back what she personally thought.
On the other hand, Xavier was mentally cursing himself for speaking so out of context. This had all become worse than he had ever intended it to be, not that he ever meant to snap at y/n. The feeling she would leave him with most days—a sense of hopelessness about ever having a chance—had taken hold of him. At times, he would have wished it only to be a simple crush and not him being hopelessly in love, but he was unlucky.
"You're the childish one who just can't tell me what's wrong and just..." y/n dropped her hand to her side instead of flapping it around, a deep frown on her face instead of a scowl. "What have I even done?"
"Nothing. You've done nothing." Xavier was quick to answer her, but was met with a scoff.
"I must have," y/n insisted.
"You haven't."
"Stop lying. Just tell me." They were on the verge of yelling at each other but still kept their voices down a bit as they did not want the teacher to come outside and find them.
"No." Xavier quickly shook his head at her.
"Tell me."
"No."
"Okay, you know what—" Moving to open the school door, she got it open a few inches before Xavier pushed it shut in front of her. This caused y/n to turn to him.
"Can't you just leave it alone?" Xavier asked, his voice now calmer. His eyes were surprisingly soft when looking at her, as if he were begging her to.
"No," y/n sighed, looking at him with a sort of harshness to bang it into his thick skull. "I'm not going to leave it be when whatever's wrong you're taking out on me for no reason, and I haven't done anything according to you."
"y/n,"
"No, Xav. I'm tired, exhausted even; can you just let me go inside unless you're going to tell me what's wrong?" Her eyes were dull. He had not noticed before just how tired she actually seemed to be, but now he could see it in her eyes, the shine in them gone from the drowsy feeling.
He kept blocking the door, standing in front of her without bugging her. None of them said anything, y/n being all too tired of going back and forth with him, and she was just waiting for him to let her pass. Xavier, on the other hand, had a full-on crisis in his head. What the hell was he supposed to do? He had no idea how to express his feelings.
His mind blank about how to express his feelings for her, he looked over her face—very subconsciously. Then his eyes began to flock together between her eyes—those usually soft and happy eyes that now were filled with exhaustion—and down to her lips. He swallowed, unsure if this was the only way to convey the message.
It was as if he was doing everything he had just told himself the other day not to. Suddenly he had reached out one of his hands, laying it on y/ns cheek, which caused her to look up at him, perplexed. There were not many instances when Xavier Thorpe was completely uncertain of something, but this was one of the things he was truly iffy about.
Xavier leaned in and connected their lips, taking a leap of faith with a slight hesitation. There was no kind of resistance on y/n's part, in fact, he swore she relaxed just the tiniest bit as he let his thumbs stroke across her cheekbone. She wasn't kissing back, but she was relaxed, and it made his heart race more than ever before. What the hell did that mean?
Pulling away after a short while, his hand was still resting on y/n's cheek as she opened her eyes, and they were slightly wide. He stood there, quiet, awaiting a reaction. Good or bad. Her eyes stayed just a little wide as he looked from side to side, as if searching her brain for any kind of ability to give a reaction.
"y/n," He started but went no further before her hand took a gentle hold of his wrist and his hand that rested on her cheek, only for her to remove it from her cheek.
She held his wrist before starting to shake her head, which caused Xavier to furrow his brows while looking at her. Then she furrowed her brows, looking down and to the side; it was all just too much to process all at once. She gnawed at the inside of her cheek, much like she used to when she was little and needed to be around new people she didn't know or when she was deeply—deeply confused.
"y/n," Xavier tried again, reaching his free hand out towards her, but y/n was quick to brush it away, preventing him from touching her.
"No, no." She backed off a little, his wrist still being held in her hand, which caused him to get pulled along and no longer cover the door inside.
"Can you just—" y/n backed away from him once more as he spoke, releasing her grip on his wrist and holding up her hands to keep space between them.
"Wha—what? I... I don't understand you." It was all she could say, her mouth agape and her brows knitted together in bewilderment and almost a little disgust.
Before he could say anything, y/n shook her head for the fiftyth time that night, then brushed past him and went inside, leaving Xavier standing there alone.
He sighed; there was no reason to follow her, as he knew he would not be able to keep up, and curfew was just minutes away from striking. But he did not care and just stood there under the stars, staring at the spot y/n had once stood at.
Veritatem dies aperit, time reveals the truth.

A/N: okay babies, you wanted it, I wanted it. Xavier Thorpe worst best HS bf let’s go. Reposting because the first time it got posted without tags and that's...embarrassing
Part 1 Here!
Okay so you remember how he like scaled a whole building to say sorry to Wednesday on the balcony of her dorm?
Yeah he does that with you all the time when you’re mad at him, or just having a bad day in general.
Usually there’s a few taps on your window and when you make your way outside there’s like a snack or some pastries for you, or a small bouquet of flowers or books or maybe a little love letter.
“Come on, how can you still be mad at me after I waited in line to get you those pastries you like.”
You wipe the crumbs from the corner of your mouth, you’re not really that mad anymore, and they were really good.
“I don’t know but I still am.”
He doesn’t have to know that though.
One time you walked out and there were candles all along the edges, a picnic laid out, and a sweet smile playing on his lips.
“I know you’ve had a rough week, and it’s not much but—” the words: ‘I wanted to do something for you’ die in his throat when you practically tackle him into a hug.
“Thank you.”
He 100% flirts by “teaching you how to paint”
“You have to be really set on what brushstrokes you want to use, see like this.” His fingers curl over your hand, the brush still clasped between your fingers is guided through the motions by him.
You can feel his breath flutter against your ear, the smirk that dances on his lips when he feels you fluster.
“You’re doing such a good job.”
Even though now that you’re comfortable you make a move every so often, he’s still the one who initiates like 60-70% of romantic gestures.
So if one day he hears a knock on his door as he emerges from the bathroom freshly showered after a run, and if you happen to be on the other side, one of his oversized hoodies cradled in your arms and pressed against your cheek as you look up at him. And if you say:
“It doesn’t smell like you anymore, I wanted the real thing.”
He might appear completely fine as he ushers you inside before the dorm master catches you, but I promise—
Xavier.exe is broken
It’s perfectly innocent, you sit on his bed like it’s yours, patting the other side and looking at him expectantly.
For once he’s glad Rowan spends all his time in the nightshade library.
He walks in stiff steps as he sits next to you.
There’s an awkward moment of silence, and you clasp your hands one in the other.
“Should I not have come?” Before he can get in a word edgewise you stand up. “I’m sorry, I’m probably bothering you—”
“You’re not bothering me.” He stops you with a hand clasped around your wrist, tugging you until your pressed against his chest. “I’m glad you’re here.”
“Positive?”
“One hundred percent.”
You cuddle mostly, little whispers of conversation muttered as your head is placed on his chest, his arms around you.
“You smell good.” You mumble. He lets out a muted laugh.
“Yeah I just showered.”
A hand darts out to play with the ends of his hair, the strands somewhere between dry and damp.
“I like it when you keep your hair down like this.” You mumble, eyes meeting his as your twirl the loose lock around your finger.
“Oh?”
“Yeah, it looks…I don’t know, sexier like this?” You tilt your head to side, completely unaware as you settle in against his chest again.
Xavier.exe is broken (again)
It’s not all sweet though, Xavier is great at banter.
“Dude, what is this?” You ask with a raised eyebrow at his clown makeup at the poe cup.
He gets a mischievous twinkle in his eye. “Oh, it’s so hot it’s turning you on?”
“Um, you know how like in a movie the main character will make themselves uglier on purpose with a bad haircut or something to test if the love interest really likes them? That’s what this feels like.”
He gives a low whistle.
“But you still like me?” The corner of his mouth quirks up when you sigh.
“Unfortunately yes.”
Oh my god and for the dance?
Like, he’s likes you a lot, but not enough to not get some joy out of seeing you squirm as you fumble over the words.
He’s got these sadistic tendencies after all.
He’s on cloud nine imagining all the ways you could ask him, stuttering over the words, or hiding your face in his chest as you squeak out the request.
But you’re really dragging your feet.
“I thought we were already going together?”
“I don’t remember being asked.” He huffs, and your eyebrows shoot up in realization.
Oh, he wants to be asked. That’s fair. You can do that.
You grab his hand, encasing it in both of yours before holding it against your chest.
His ears start to get hot.
You tilt your head to the side, the softest sweetest smile on your lips.
“Will you please go to the dance with me Xavier?”
His ears are bright red now. Just like the apples of his cheeks, and the back of his neck.
He’s got a reputation to uphold though.
“I would love to go to the dance with you, thought you’d never ask.”
But then you kiss the back of his hand and his mind stutters to a stop again.
He sketches you in the corner of his journal sometimes, the same absentminded way you might scrawl someone’s name next to yours.
He’s not sure when he engraved your face in the back of his mind.
Or when the familiar shape of your eyes, the arch of your brow, the lilt of your smile, started to feel like home.
Just that he hopes it never does

It always came back to you - Xavier thrope x Reader.
Summary: Ever since you came to Nevermore, something set you up to be rivals with Xavier. You despised each other, or at least, That's the way it came off to everyone. Maybe it was never hate that drove you apart? Will you find out after the poe Cup how Xavier really feels about you?
Warning(s): will probably consist of name-calling, arguing/bickering, cussing and other small things. Maybe tiny tiny bit suggestive at the end...
Word count : 3k
Tumblr media
The day of the Poe cup finally came around, you were in a cramped tent finalising your costume. There was rumbling of all the voices around the thin sheeted tent. It wasn't long till the game began. You fixed accessories and walked out to greet the rest of your teammates who discussed the 'game plan' really the game plan was just you using your powers to uprise the water to your opponents.
People grouped around and waited for everything to settle down. You sat behind one of the individuals in your group, holding onto the rowing paddle with a tight hold. Turning your head to your surround, your eyes stopping for moments at each of your rivals. But there was one person you only considered as your so-called rival. Xavier Thorpe, the guy you constantly argued with whenever you even opened your mouth around him. He sat in the canoe next to you, wearing his jester considered with his smudged makeup that covered his features.
"Hey! You really suit your new look. It really brings out who you are." You called out to Xavier, a two-sided grin on your face. Xavier narrowed his eyes at you, you could see his hold on the rowing paddle getting tighter when he heard your snarky comment. "Say that to the jester that will be holding the Poe cup trophy later on." Xavier's grin accentuated by the wide red paint that spread across his cheeks. Oh you were so ready to beat him. He was too cocky for his own good. "Hasn't your team lost consecutively?" You give him a final smirk until the game began.
A loud gunshot plowing through the air, riveting the attention of many of the crowd. The moment it went off, you put all your arm strength into the game. Pushing the paddles against the water pushing yourself forward. Eyes only focused ahead of you. Water splashing up around the canoe that was pushing through the water. Up by your side of the canoe was Xaviers clown group trying to stay close to you. If you didn't think he was insane enough, of their game plan seemed to be severing people's heads with the axes that was a part of their canoe. "Psycho." You muttered under your breath.
Land was approaching. You jumped into the shallow water as the rest of your peers shoved the thin canoe closer to the muddy ground as you went off running through the thick woods. It wasn't long till Xavier caught up with you, overtaking you while laughing like a maniac. He was too overjoyed. With one simple flick of your hand, the air went against Xavier causing him to go face-first into the mucky ground. Splashed on the dark went soil over his costume and face paint. You take your chance to run ahead yet again. "You were saying?" You watched him with an evil smile on your face. "Bitch!" He punched his first into the ground. Xavier rushed to get back onto his feet and try to catch up with you again.
You could see the colourful flags standing all neatly aligned. None have been taken yet, it was good to know you're ahead. With a small movement of your hands, branches crumbled to the ground getting out of your way. With a heightened sense of adrenaline going zipping through your veins; you sped up towards the flags.
You tried to pull it out of the ground, but it was stuck very snug into the ground. "Come on! Come out." You groan, tugging on the post of wood that held up your flag. The struggle contained, your hands going red from the constant grabbing of the same post. By this point, Xavier was back on your tail. Running up and grabbing his flag swiftly. "Oh no, you don't." You shake your head as you pushed your hand through the air. A strong swirl of air brought his flag out of his hand, blowing it high into the air. The air pushing the flag far into a tall tree where it got lodged into the branches.
"What the hell are you doing! That's not fair!" Xavier's temper ran short as he turned back to you with a pissed-off expression. Your shoulders jump up following your shrugging. "Oh it's perfectly fair... no rules remember?" Your voice teasing as never as - like you were talking to s child explaining the rules of the game. "Don't give me that, you are so irritating." Xavier spat out at you with a glare, meanwhile, Ajax stood there happily smiling at you. "Ugh." Xavier grumbled. He looked at his flag, he couldn't give up now. Xavier walked the tree, placing his hand on the rough bark that crumbled under the pressure of his hands. Xavier attempted to shake the flag out.
Yeah it was stuck there for good.
A small devious laugh escaped your lips. But you had to quickly act, other were running away with their flags. Using the strength in your arms, you snapped the flag from the bottom of the post. A jagged end being left. Bristles of splints sticking out of the bottom. You ran ahead. Leaving Xavier to the frustration of trying to get his flag.
It didn't come as a surprise when you won. You and your teammates holding the huge trophy in your hands. The bright shining silver mirroring your unimpressed expression. Among the crowd that cheered you on was a grumpy man. Xavier watched you, covered In mud and no flag. He glared at you, his jaw clenched. "I can't stand (y/n)" Xavier states Ajax. He was a lot more laid back, he didn't care. Just seeing him so angry at you, it pushed you to go further. Holding it up as far as your arm reached. "Thank you, this couldn't have happened if Xavier wasn't stupid enough to compete against me." You stare right at him in the crowds of people. He was over 6ft, he was easy to find. "This..." Xavier refrained from saying any further before he began pushing through the crowd taking his leave. Embarrassed and full of shame.
At least, you were left satisfied with your achievement.
The day wasn't done yet, you had a lot more to do. Snooping around let's say. You heard multiple things about the nightshades library. That place sounded like your cup of tea.
Xavier on the other hand, he was far from satisfied. He was fuming. So angry that he was ranting to Ajax for ages. Taking about. "Oh how much I hate (y/n)" words like 'self-centred' 'annoying' and 'erratic' were used during his conversion. His face was red from scrubbing his face so hard. Some of the more stubborn make-up stayed behind on his face. Water soaked Xavier's face as he used hot soapy water to try clean himself. "I just don't understand Ajax. Why does (y/n) have to be such a pain in the ass?" Xavier scolded, occasionally stopping to cover his face with more water. Parts of his hair were wet, he wasn't very careful. "Just hearing their talking driver me up the wall." Xavier continued, now that the question was brought up he couldn't finish talking about it. He hated you, his heart raced whenever he saw you and his face turned red from the sheer hate he had for you.
Is that what that feeling was called these days?
Silent...the halls were silent. Not many students walked around this time, most of them were having their dinner. But no, not you. You found it a lot more intriguing to go wandering. You walk through halls that seemed the same to the last, your arms dropped down by your hips - swaying carefully back and forth with the ongoing steps. You abruptly halted in your tracks, stopping in front of a cold unmoving figure of a man. The statue, that's just where you needed to be.
Two rhythmical snaps later, you were in. It was simply too easy. With curiosity, you strolled down the steps. You looked around as if you were in some zoo exhibition. Taking small details of the room. The strong smell of old dusty books, woody notes lingering through the air. It was stale and the air was thick because down here there wasn't much ventilation. At least it wasn't too dark. You walked down each step- a small click of your shoe followed. It was quite pretty, mysterious...ominous and full of all kinds of secrets.
You walk among bookshelves, brushing your fingertips against the collecting dust that built up on books that were not touched in ages. Your eyes dart around the covers, reading a few words of what the title was before moving on. Nothing had really caught your eye.
"You shouldn't be down here." A rigorous voice challenged you. Xavier laid his hand on the bannister and slowly walked down to you.
"Ah, shouldn't you be crying like a sore loser right now Xavier Thorpe?" You replied with clear uninterest, not even bothering to look his way. Instead, you kept your bored gaze on the thick-plated books all squeezed in next to each other. Your finger grazes the hardcovers.
"Don't even start there. You aren't supposed to be here, and you are being a total pain in the ass. Just GET out." Xavier snapped back at your monotone manner. Small fractions of his hair falling from the loosely tied bun. Already in frustration, he held his firsts together. "Uhuh... Well If you really dislike my presence then... yknow the door is up the stairs." You didn't even try to hide the mocking in your voice, and the smart-ass look you had on your face when you reached for a book you finally stopped at. It weighed so much in your hold, but still you flipped it over to skim through the blurb.
Xavier took a deep breath in, trying to compose himself. "Last time I checked. I'm a part of the nightshades. Not some total egotistical brat." Xavier had a nasty tone of his own when he needed it. He approached the middle of the hall, keeping his eye on you. His lanky figure became a faint shadow in the room. Arms stretched down to pockets and legs that stood straightened and strong. He was real pissed off.
"Well... considering this little club of yours consists of mainly incompetent fragile little boys... ahem... you" You fake a cough before calling him out. "I think I have all the right to be here." You spoke in a matter-of-fact voice, keeping a calm demeanour during your little book tour. Xavier rattled with the build-up of emotions, his status getting more rigid as he scrunched his nose. Skin wrinkiling under the strong expression of his snarl.
"(Y/n) I am so done with you. So is everyone. I hate how you sit up on your high horse and think you can talk to people like this. You are so self-centred it's ridiculous!" He told you straight as he was agitated. Xavier pointed his finger at you to ridicule you. "What-" you slam the book shut, dust flying up from the pages as you turned to face him with a snap. "No. No you listen to me right now. I can't stand you. Ever since you came, you started acting like this, like you were better than everyone." Xavier stormed closer to you, a thundering cloud following him in his steps. "Hey look at me I'm (y/n) and I am just sooo much better than the rest of you." Xavier taunted you, his expression went from harsh to babyish as he spoke in a higher-pitched voice. He held his hands close to chest, holding them together to make him look like a Saint.
"Me!?" You said in disbelief, pointing at yourself as you batted your eyes at him like he was insane. "Ever since I joined you have been nothing but mean to me! I tried to make truce but you were always out to mock me, Xavier. So don't you dare pinpoint it at me saying this." You start to lose your cool, tossing the book behind you to take sharp steps towards him. A harsh stare met him; you glared straight through your brows. The end of your upper lip slightly twitching.
Xavier had no reply and at some point couldn't even look you in your eyes. He was the first to avert his eyes. For a small moment, his expression softened under the dim lights of the great hall you stood in. You cranked your neck back to look at him, hair moving away from your face to fully expose the angered expression. But you tried to judge the expression Xavier had now. "If you are pitying how pathetic you are. Don't." You reply in a series of blunt replied before backing away from Xavier. Your shoulders losing the tense feeling in them as they dropped comfortably.
Assuming Xavier had nothing to say, it was your cue to leave anyway.
"No..." a much fainter calmer voice broke the silence. Xavier shook his head slowly as he looked down at the tiled ground. "I was doing it to protect myself. The moment you came into school, I had my eye out for you. But I couldn't have my heart hurt again. So I defended myself." Xavier felt so defeated as his head hung low - ashamed as he spoke.
"Urgh. Whatever. Fine, I'll leave." Xavier stopped, flipping back to his colder manners. He turned on his heel to leave. Ultimately you stopped him, grabbing his wrist - preventing him from leaving. "What the hell are you saying, Xavier? What do you mean?" You ask him frantically, did you hear him right? You mustn't have. Without even realising it, you hand a tight clutch on Xavier's sleeve. Holding to the thick fabric that rubbed against your skin, you slightly tug him back your way.
"I meant that. I like you. I have for so long. Did you really think this was all about how you are better than me? Or me trying to one-up you?" Xavier just slightly turned his head, he couldn't look you in the eyes as he turned himself into shame and embarrassment. He was chewing on his lip whenever he wasn't talking. On cue he began speaking again. "I was trying to stand out to you, get your attention. You always took it the wrong way so I went with it. I acted like I was trying to one-up you." He sadly continued before snatching his arm back to himself, pulling you forward with the force of his tug. Xavier easily broke away from your feeble grasp. "Don't you dare tell anyone. You've embarrassed me enough today." Xavier sighed as he began to scurry away. Trying to get away as fast as possible away from you.
You slightly laugh to yourself. You tried your best to swallow the urge down. "Xavier...do you really mean that?" You speak up from the broken laugh. Xavier stopped and nodded his head. But hearing your laugh, it told him everything. You were making fun of him. He almost ran away from you completely.
So it was never hate that pushed you so far away from each other. It was your own attraction that made things the way they are. "The feelings mutual." You speak up, hoping Xavier would hear you. He did. He froze, trying to hear you again. While he stood stationary, you walk over to him. Spinning around him to stand in front of him. And you lean in, placing a small peck on the corner of his lip. "I do like provoking you, however." You started to laugh, but it was cut short by Xavier who grabbed you and smacked his lips against your.
He waited so long for this. Xavier cupped your face in his hands. He even pushed the hair away from your face as he tilted his head. Xavier was desperate. Warm lips moving together in sync together. Both hearts are racing. You weren't even thinking, but you went with it. Holding onto his shoulders, pulling him down to your height and when he was low enough your hand slithered carefully behind his neck taking a soft hold of the light brown locks between your fingers. Xavier savoured every moment. Holding your body close to his, rubbing your face delicately. He held you just the way he wanted to hold you.
You pull away, gasping for the stale hot air that surrounded you. You catch a glimpse of Xavier's glowing eyes as he kept looking at you. "I've waited. So long, to hold you, to love you like this. I can't stand it, how much you make me feel at once. It was all so sudden." Xavier whispered into your ear breathlessly. Hot air tingles down your neck. You were still in shock at it all, everything processing slowly. Xavier held you tightly, gripping your clothes. His arms all tangled up in yours as he held you desperately. "I know you like me as well. Otherwise, you wouldn't have kissed me the way you did." Xavier read your feelings to you. You were exposed like an open book to him now. Feelings unravelled as you felt yourself embracing him. He held your smaller frame against his own taller and lankier frame.
"I wish you have told me sooner." You finally speak up after regaining your breath. Xavier chuckled, hands peeling off you. "Come to my dorm?" Xavier asked a smirk hinting at his filled lips. He had a lot to tell you about anyway... a room might have the best comfort for that.

Invisible Adoration Part 2
(I wasn't using a reference whilst writing this, so ignore the fact that it has started in the wrong place!)
Pairing: Xavier Thorpe x (Fem) Reader Content: Pining, little angst(?) to fluff, probably terrible grammar, hot artist man (Xavier) being flirty Warning: Swearing, (Y/N) used once (I hate using it anymore 😭) Summary: After ALMOST getting to kiss is red painted lips, you have to climb your way through the Poe cup to victory and maybe even score a victory kiss?? 👀
Tumblr media
Xavier answers the door whilst I scramble through my messed up makeup bag (thanks Xavier) to finish my makeup so I can make my way to the rest of the black cats. I hear Ajax through the door, probably talking him up about how they're gonna beat the other teams. As if, we got claws, brains, invisibility and overall wit. We would never lose to those clowns... though I might have a hard time trying to run away from Xavier if he tries to pull something during the race. Get your shit together, stop thinking like this.
That moment we just had probably meant nothing to him so it means nothing to me. Though that does make my heart sink knowing that a guy who truly sees me probably wouldn't want to. A single tear barely touches my cheek before I dab it away. I have to get my head in the game, I may be invisible but that's an advantage- and it's my own at that. Own it. I finish painting on my cat makeup and I start to walk towards the door before I hear them talk. I don't think Ajax knows I'm in here... maybe I can use this. I start to listen to their conversation
"Dude, seriously, I was so close I coulda got her!" I shrink away from the door, what could that have meant? "Look, save it for the game alright? We gotta go." I hear Xavier sigh before grabbing something and leaving. I slowly exit the bathroom. Thank god for invisible material, I turn invisible and race down the halls past them without notice and I keep going until I reach the race. I'm hyperventilating, terrified, and shaking... at least I'm alive?
I walk over to the group and tap Enid on the shoulder, she shrieks "OMG! You scared the hell out of me!!" I turn back to normal "Sorry, I forgot." She rolls her eyes and smiles "it's fine, but I'm not promising that one of these days you won't get the claws" we laugh. "Why did you do the makeup?" Wednesday asked "I plan on being invisible for most of the race so... yeah" Wednesday walks past me and Enid shakes my arms "You look great! We got this, just remember our plan." Her 'plan' being that if anyone tries to sabotage us, or do anything harmful to get ahead, I'd push back since they'd be unable to fight what is essentially air. We head over to the boats, I can feel my heart racing, just so much pent up frustration and anger to put into my fight, but also some sadness and doubt to unfortunately weight me down.
As we get ready to go, Wheems speaking about the Poe Cups history and whatnot, I feel something looking at me. Well it turns out to be a someone, I look to my right and there he is, my dorm mate and annoyingly attractive crush. God I hate the word crush, but that's seemingly how I feel about his position in my life. He smiles at me, the makeup I applied to his face hugging his lips in just the right way. He's so perfect to me, but unfortunately I can't forget what I heard. "Dude, seriously, I was so close I coulda got her!" Ringing in my ears as though it could only mean the worst of worse. I turn invisible as to hoping he'd just ignore me, but he doesn't. He just looks directly through me, it's like he can see my face, my body language, my unruly heart pounding with adoration for him being torn apart by worry.
I look away trying to ignore it but I just can't stop thinking about it, then the horns blare I quickly grab the ores and start rowing. Before we know it we're on our way, The pendulum team almost immediately get pushed into one of the giant buoys. "If they try to sabotage us before we reach the flags, you're up (Y/N), we don't want to waste our other secret weapons." I don't know if she just called me a secret weapon but I'm just glad to be included "Got it" luckily, we reach the shore before anything else happened "I'll go get the flag, you guys stick to the SP"
We agreed to call it the SP, but SP is our 'Sabotage Plan'... which doesn't entirely seem fool-proof if the others hear it, but it's worked to far. They all nod at me as they assume their sabotage positions. I run to go capture my flag, as I do so I turn invisible as to not attract any attention that could ruin our chances. I pick up the flag and- of course someone grabs my arm. I look up to find the clown painted man "come back." He tilts his head slightly with a resting face. I turn visible again "Let go, Xavier, we have a race to win." His teammate runs back to the boat without him "It's fine, we're the only ones out here." I roll my eyes "yeah, for now, let go you can annoy me to hell and back later." I rip my arm out of his grasp but he catches me by my waist "Nope! I have to do something." I groan "what could possibly be more important than-!" My eyes open wide in shock, I hear a clang on the floor from both of our flags dropping. I try to process what just happened.
Xavier, the man I've come to love, just kissed me.  He holds my face with his hands as I close my eyes as I melt into his touch, this isn't what I expected. This was more than I think I could ever ask for. Unfortunately when he pulls away it feels too soon. "I would like to win, but I couldn't without finishing what we started in the dorm." He kisses my cheek before smiling slyly at me with an almost lustful intent in both his eyes and voice. I stand there, bamboozled. He picks up his flag and runs off "Meet me after the race!" I shake my head grab my flag and run back to the water. I run past Bianca who looks at me in shock, maybe she's just confused on how she's losing whilst taking out an entire team. I get back to the boat with my team and both mine and Xavier's teams are looking at each other "What?" Our teams look at each other, giggles escaping before they turn to take off.
I shrug and push the boat off the shore before hopping in. We row until we hear the guys talking and yelling at each other that they're sinking. Xavier sinks in his seat and pouts, he looks at me like a sad wet puppy I roll my eyes and we set sail again. Bianca's team gets closer and closer, then our boat starts rowing horizontally. We're getting sabotaged like the first team. I turn invisible before jumping into the water "I got this!" Wednesday nods in approval before I go under. Kent doesn't seem to notice but I swim behind him and I grab him by the hair and pull him above the water and start punching him in the face "Fuck! You! Fishboy!" And with a power I didn't know I had, I threw him just barely onto Bianca's boat earning a bunch of groans from the girl who are now covered in gross lake-man water. Then Wednesday releases Thing and he helps me get the boat to the beach before the Golden Bugs.
We reach land, thing on my head and I turn visible as the team groups into a hug. Wednesday visibly annoyed but not totally hating the win. After Principal Wheems long winded speech about the Poe Cup, I walk away and Xavier walks up to me. "So, about earlier... it's on your face." I furrow my brows "what?" He cups my face with his hand and traces his thumb around my cheek "I didn't notice it either, but when I kissed you some of the makeup rubbed off on your face" I cover my face with my hands in embarrassment "Don't do that... I like the way you look covered in my love" my cheeks burn with a bold heat that only he can bring out. He smiles brightly at me, "you're so cute" I shake my head "what are you talking about, Xav?" He leans in close to my face "Let me spell it out for you. I like you, more than I think anyone- especially you, knows. Visible, invisible I just want you, and I've only wanted you since the day I got to finally see you." He places his hands on my hips as he ever so naturally towers over me. My eyes blink all over his face, his eyes, his nose... his lips. He takes a note of this and lets out a small chuckle. He leans in and captures my lips with his once more. He smiles into the kiss as his hands slide up to my waist and I rest my arms on his shoulders. I release a giggle I can't bare to hold in anymore he smiles and rests his nose against mine "So cute..."

Despite being the most skilled artist at Nevermore Academy, Xavier Thorpe wanted his girlfriend to help him out with his jester makeup. However, he didn't want to make it easy for her. He wanted to have her, close, for a bit longer than just a few minutes of dabbing face paint onto his cheeks.

“Will you stop squirming,” Val let out an exasperated sigh, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
“Tickles.”
Xavier grimaced, flinching slightly and scrunching up his nose at the brush bristles around his eye. A squiggle of black adorned his cheek, messing up the entire half of his already painted face.
The warm sunlight was slowly inching away from the walls - it was nearing midday, and they still weren’t ready for the upcoming competition. They were in Xavier’s dorm room for more than an hour now, doing his godforsaken clown makeup for the entire time. He could not make up his mind about the design - or at least that’s what he made her think it was.
V huffed, getting up from the desk she was sitting at to get a towel. She would have to remove the makeup for the fifteenth time this morning. And again, his fingers slid against her leg as she did so, gliding over a particularly sensitive spot at the back of her knee, earning a quiet gasp from her. She shivered, goosebumps erupting on her exposed skin and gave him a side-eye. He smiled, feigning innocence. He knew exactly what he was doing.
He knew all of her sweet spots, he had them mapped out - no, burned into his memory. He studied them religiously every single chance he got. Just like when he ghosted his fingertips over the crook of her neck during the lunch breaks, pretending to notice a speck of fabric that needed to be taken off of her skin, or when he glided his palms along the small of her back when she passed him in the halls. Or when he slid his fingers along her inner thighs, right underneath her skirt - on supposed accident - every time she got up from his lap, or when he caressed her ankles, swirling his thumbs around them whenever they were hanging out with their friends in the courtyard. Or when he kept looking out for loose strands of her hair just to tuck them away, brushing his fingernails oh-so-tenderly behind her ear or across the nape of her neck, when he pretended to get her hair out of her collar before every Botany class they had together.
He knew every single one of those spots and more. Many, many more.
He remembered them all vividly, when she was then moaning quietly in a bathroom stall or an empty classroom, as he worshiped her flushed skin slowly, inch by inch, his large hands feeling the mounds of her hips, spreading her thighs to nestle between them. He relished in hearing his own name, soft and breathy on her lips. He loved the feeling of her fingers intertwined in his hair when he caressed her heated, dripping folds with his hungry mouth. He noted every move, every sound she made when he lapped at her sensitive clit, how she arched her back when he sucked on her relentlessly. How hot she became and how her legs trembled when she got close to the edge because of him. He remembered how his long fingers were stretching her heat, pumping in and out of her at a steady pace, absolutely in love with the feeling of her clenching around them. How he loved hearing her groan throatily with her head thrown back when the lewd, wet sounds of her pussy swallowing his fingers filled the room. How she was pulling at his hair, pushing him closer to herself, making him bury his face into her sopping, fluttering cunt.
He very well remembered how his dick was rock hard by then, straining painfully against the fabric of his underwear, or how he wanted to skip the next few classes, begging her to fuck - and how she scolded him for it with a faux look of sympathy on her reddened face. He remembered her pink, flushed cheeks and her glazed eyes, giving him those heavy lidded, cocky looks, when she tried to smooth out her shirt before the next class, trembling hands trying to fix up her skirt. He remembered Ajax giving him a knowing smile every time they barely showed up on time for the class, bumping his shoulder with an "extracurricular activities, eh", to which he always nodded, grinning smugly under his nose. How he could still taste her on his tongue, making it difficult for him to focus on the subject presented in class, as he tried to fight his still throbbing, untouched dick. How much more difficult it was, when she sat a few rows in front, shifting in her seat because of what he had just done to her mere minutes ago. It replayed in his mind's eye in every detail when she turned her head to look at him and sent him a wink.
Xavier remembered every single moment like this. And he still wanted more of them, more of her. He was addicted.
His heart fluttered when she slowly swayed her hips as she walked back towards the desk he was sitting at, wet towel in hand. She seemed to know what he was playing at by now but didn't want to give that away just yet. Curiosity overtook her. She wondered, what is he going to do with a little bit of a push in the right direction.
She lifted her skirt up, just enough to make Xavier see her panties and straddled his legs, bringing the towel close to his smudged cheek. His little gasp didn't go unnoticed and she smirked, leaning closer to his face, watching in amusement, how transfixed he was by her clothed cunt so close to his hardening dick.
"I'm gonna have to start all over again." She pouted, wiping at the black splotch on his cheek. It only smudged more, messing up the red lines of the smile. Her thumb brushed his cheekbone, pushing away a strand of hair that escaped his half-up, half-down hairdo.
"Or…" He took her hand into his large one, away from his cheek, his breath fanning her palm. "We could… rest… for a… bit… you know?"
He planted soft, wet, open mouthed kisses along the line of her wrist and up her arm at every pause, leaving red face paint in their wake and making her drop the towel. And just as he expected, V's face relaxed, her eyelids fluttered at the sensation. This was too good to refuse. His other hand pulled her against his bare chest as he continued to kiss her, stopping every now and then at a particularly delicate spot near her shoulder.
"Xavier–"
"Yes, baby?" His plump lips were now busy with her other wrist, gliding over the sensitive skin. His fingers slid under her shirt and rested on her lower back, sending shivers down her spine.
"We're gonna-ah–" she gasped, shifting on top of him, making him suck in his breath suddenly as she rubbed her clothed pussy against his semi-hard on. "Gon' be late."
He only hummed in response, his breath now on the side of her neck. She snaked her fingers into his hair, messing up his bun, making him purr and prompting him to latch his mouth onto her pulse. Every nip left a wet spot, the cool air contrasting with the warmth of his breaths in between the kisses. Her nipples hardened to the point they were visible through her sports bra and her shirt and he noticed this immediately.
His big hands worked slowly, caressing her sides, stopping at her every moan to prolong the sensations that sent shivers down her body, making a knot form in her stomach when they slid underneath her bra. His long fingers brushed over her perked nubs. He kept kissing her jawline, her throat, feeling the vibrations of her moans forming, ready to fall from her lips if he gave her just a little bit more.
Xavier didn't want anything else in the world right now but to give her everything he could, just to hear her.
Her shirt and bra now laid abandoned somewhere on the floor. His nose slid down her chest, leaving a white-red stripe of paint on her sternum and the undersides of her breasts, licking the newly exposed, delicate skin, inching closer and closer to her nipples. And she shuddered in anticipation, feeling his wet mouth drawing closer to her aching spots. When he finally did, his lips closing around one of them, his tongue circling it hungrily, she moaned his name, pushing herself against him. Her hands fisted his hair, tugging at the strands at the back of his head, making him groan into her breasts. He could feel her wetness through the material of hers and his own underwear and he could not help himself anymore. He rolled his hips into her core, desperate for some sort of pleasure to soothe his now aching cock.
His open mouthed kisses got messy, saliva dripping from the corners of his mouth as he did everything in his might not to throw his head back when she ground her cunt onto his hardened dick. His name repeatedly falling from her open mouth in breathy moans made his head feeling fuzzy, leaving him wanting - no, needing more. His hands roamed her body in a desperate frenzy, trying to bring her closer to him, to feel her whole against his chest. He sucked on her hardened nipples, grazing them with his teeth on accident, just as she leaned away from him with a squeal and her hand trailed down his abdomen. He groaned at the sensation of her warm fingers sliding under the waistband of his underwear and wrapping around his shaft, his hard cock now free from the material. He watched her spit down on him and lower herself over his twitching cock, her mouth open and ready to take him.
"No." He heard himself say. He grabbed her wrist to stop her, surprising her as well as himself by his actions. She looked at him, taking in his mess of a makeup and a wild, kind of desperate look in his green eyes.
“I want– I, ah, just use me.” He whispered, breathless. Heat was rising to his cheeks, a bit ashamed at his own boldness. “Use me like a toy. Make yourself feel good first, baby.”
Their lips crashed together in a needy, messy, open mouthed kisses, teeth and tongues clashing, trying to taste each other before the other one.
His eyes snapped shut, his hips bucked into her palm with a gasp as he felt her guide his dick towards her heat. Bare pussy lips glided smoothly over his tip, rubbing directly over her swollen clit, coating him in a flood of her slick juices.
"Use me, yes, just like that, babe," His strained voice was low and raspy. His fingers now dug into her butt, pushing her to roll herself on the underside of his dick, her moans filled the otherwise quiet room. He felt his swollen head catching onto her exposed clit with every single slide, flicking it relentlessly, making him whine like a wounded puppy when she writhed on top of his long, lanky legs, digging her fingernails into his shoulders. The thin walls of his dorm room definitely didn't offer any soundproofing - Xavier was sure at least half of his wing heard them by now but he could not care less. He loved her voice, so filled with pleasure, it was like an angelic music for him. Music that he replayed in his mind every time he was away from her, jerking off to his drawings of her. He savoured the feeling of her chest flush against his as he buried his face into her neck, breathing hard and heavy, sliding his hot lips over the crook of her neck.
This was now. This was real, yet he felt like in one of his dreams - his fantasies again. He wanted to pinch himself. His mind was in some sort of dazed high right now, as he felt her soaking cunt rut on his rock hard dick, felt her getting hotter and hotter to the touch. His eyes rolled back with a groan. V's skin was getting covered in a thin layer of sweat and it made him grit his teeth. He knew she was close - her low moans and scrunched up face, mouth open, rocking on him with an absent minded look in her eyes, was an image he could not ever forget - but so was he. The idea of her cumming all over him, because of him, pushed him to his limits every single fucking time. And he couldn't let himself do that. He could not deny himself the beautiful picture that was about to unfold in front of his eyes if he held on for just a little bit longer.
His dick strained as he groaned, feeling her oncoming orgasm. His eyes never leaving her face only to grow wide, so as did hers. He felt his burning, rock-hard cock push inside her soft, dripping cunt, filling her up with his entire length with the momentum of their grinding, just to bottom out and thrust right back in. He stretched her tight, warm pussy, the sensation sending electricity through her spine so intense, her back arched and her eyes rolled back, as her orgasm hit her hard with its flaming waves.
"Xavi– ohyes god, Xavier, fuck, yes, yes–!"
His fingers dug into her hips, impailing her hard as she pulsated around him. His pupils blown out, whining her name as well, eyes roaming her face in a drunken hunger, as he spilled inside her mere seconds after her. Hips stuttering, he buried his face in her chest, feeling the sweet release of his own orgasm heightened by V's clenching walls almost sucking his dick dry of his cum.
They sat there for some time, unmoving, tired and dazed, almost falling asleep in between soft and delicate pecks of their lips over each other faces. Through the heavy lidded eyes, Val noticed the sun moved again, she wondered what time it was. And then she jolted upright, startling Xavier out of his pussydrunk state.
"Wha'is it?" He groaned, frowning at the sudden absence of her warmth.
"The Poe Cup!"
He felt a towel on his crotch and a brush on his face, rapidly dabbing paint on his cheeks as he froze. Shit.
They got packed in a blink of an eye and somehow Val managed to fix his makeup enough for it to look good and cover the hickeys she left on his neck a few nights ago.
"I have something planned for you," she stated smugly, tracing her fingers over one of the spots on his neck, as she fixed the strings of his jester hat. "A consolation prize."
He gave her a playful look.
"Don't believe in me, babe?"
"Well, I bet The Black Cats are going to win. Again." Her cocky tone made him feel something in his stomach - something he never thought he would. A desire to make her eat her own words, to show her who's in charge this time.
“And what if I win?”
“Then I’ll let you do whatever, now come on. We’re gonna be late.”
She grabbed his hand, pulling him towards the door. He stalled a bit.
“Anything? So, say, I could be… in control?”
She nodded absentmindedly, glancing around the room for things she might’ve forgotten, her mind clearly fixated on the Poe Cup. She didn’t notice the glint in Xavier’s eyes. She didn’t notice how he straightened his back, how his cheeks flushed underneath the white paint, how his breath hitched just slightly. How his smile widened, mischief and determination written across his features. She didn’t even notice how he bit his lip ever so slightly in a way that promised things she could not ever see coming.
“So,” he stated, almost casually, “we have a deal then?”
“Yea, yea, deal. Can we go now? Y'know, I have a Cup to win. Again.” She smirked, winking.
His heart fluttered, a wave of excitement sending shivers down his very core.
Yeah, we’ll see about that…
Xavier followed V towards the lake, chuckling under his breath at how determined she was in her stride. So confident and self-assured. He watched her vanish inside the Black Cats’ tent, absolutely positive the victory was hers. He squared his shoulders, fists clenched at his sides, his mind racing. Adrenaline pumped through his veins once again, making it difficult to stay still. He had to focus.
Now, where the fuck was Ajax? They had some prepwork to do.
And he had a bet to win.
