And it’s like for the ‘be the change’ niggas even if I learned how to write and draw right now and pumped 50 fanart and fics a day that doesn’t change the rancid fucking fandom they’d exist in. Like it’s not lost on me that every three weeks like 3 popular blogs stumble onto a convo already existing about smth that happened in the comics and it spreads like wildfire throughout the fandom not just here but on tiktok and Twitter but somehow every post about the racism Duke and cass and Damián go through is just swept under the rug and it just so happens nobody sees it. Ppl shining more light on these characters doesn’t change the core issue which is that the things that we do get is trash. Me writing 50000 Duke fics doesn’t change that the popular and acceptable version of him is a whitewashed racist caricature and that more ppl are willing to build OFF of that than they are to just read smth with him in it. Like when we say include Duke it’s bc we KNOW y’all are purposely avoiding him but I’ve never gone into a tim centric fic and wondered why Duke wasn’t there UNLESS y’all tagged him. Which is another insidious thing y’all will take up space in these character tags for reach and then get confused when we don’t fucking like you bc all you can type is Duke asking a question or being confused or a sassy one liner. Like making 20 Duke posts a day doesn’t change that the core issue is that ur racism and lack of reading is what created the characterization that’s unfortunately now popular and that the creators yall follow (who say they read but can they COMPREHEND!) will only ever focus on their faves in a way that always turns out to be detrimental and racist.

Okay so lately ive been wanting a boo and craving a boyfriend. And idk...i want a boyfriend thats not new. So then i had that dream about Sam (i would tell you to swipe up but i literally did that twice yesterday) and when i was writing the analysis i talked about certain signs i’m looking out for now in life and also talked about how sam possibly couldve been a vessel for hunrique.

And then i started thinking about hunrique, like damn, i wish sam was a vessel for him cause that would be a sign we would rekindle just like me and sam did in the dream ya know? So yea....then i just started thinking about him, and how hot he is, and how i would literally just love if he was my boyfriend, like i miss him and i would feel so good with that. Like there isnt anything about him that i wouldnt whole heartdly desire in boyfriend.

So today my brains on hunrique mode, i already want a bf, so now im just using him for the images of my desires. I was skitting in my first class, after my roommate told me all about her sexcapades with her boos, i was skitting in my second class. And right after my classes i needed to take a trip downtown. So i’m even skitting while i’m walking. I’m thinking about what would happen if we met up again, him coming to my room, THE WHOLE NINE. Like EVERYTHING i could think about (get your mind out of the gutter)

So its such a nice pretty day, 80 degrees super sunny. And im cursing myself for wearing full black leggings and a black top because i was hot and i’m like ugh i probably look like an idiot. But then, as i’m walking all of a sudden, the music on my phone is only playing, soft, autumn, cutesy, romantic, love songs. And im like woww my life is taunting me, and im literally skipping them cause im like fuck you im lonely and these arent good walking songs. But love songs keep coming up. Like “falling for you” by the 1975. “a-team” and “MEDICINE” by the 1975 kept coming up, it was so odd.

So then my psychic headass was like hmm “maybe its a sign, Or at least thats what im gonna tell myself to make me feel better” lmao. So whatever, im downtown now, still skitting hunrique, and skipping love songs. I’m on my way back now walking up the street and ALL OF A SUDDEN walking towards me ten feet away is of course Hunrique. AHHHHHHHH RU serious!!!!

He was wearing ALL BLACK. Just like meee!!! And there was no one else around and he was just coming towards me, and i was just looking at him as we passed eachother and he started looking at me, and we were just looking at eachother for several moments. And then i broke gaze right as we were about to pass eachother. WHAT!??!?!? LITERALLY ONLY ME. I swear to god as soon as he passed me i....took a deep breath and then started laughing. Likewhat?

First of all i want to mention hunrique sightings are RARE. I always make a big deal out of them, and i post about it everytime okay like they do NOT happen often. Second, usually when i spot him its from such a distance, or there are tons of people around. I was walking on that street for a few minutes and i NEVER saw him in my line of sight. He appeared out of thin air, ten feet away. Like i didnt even have any time to feel weird, when i was looking at him, it was because i was like omgg!! i was making sure it was even him. And when i realized it was he started kooking at me back and then we just stared at eachother.

AND! he was wearing all black just like me. AND! it was literally a black wife beater and black joggers so his muscles were out like OKAY SAM...I SEE YOUUU SAMMMMMMMMMMM.

TEA WHAT I COULD NEVER FIND HUNRIQUE CAUSE HIS NAME IS SAM IM WEAK.
